Anicae Posted September 10, 2016 Posted September 10, 2016 See, problem is that SlaveTats is adding tattoos on her face... Just the tears and such do not show up. Will still try it though (just checked, and will change in the ini and report back if it worked^^). you can also put it higher than 1 so you can have multiple face tats. my facce numoverlays is set at 6 for example Just to be clear, it is a different setting. bEnableFaceOverlays=1 turns it on or off (1 or 0 only). It is the iNumOverlays in the Overlays/Face section. ah ok sorry about that. Read about the changes in nioverride but also that increasing tattoo slots through that doesn't work? It still shows 12 slots or something (and I don't use any tattoos during character creation. Tats only get applied ingame via other mods). *I make no sense here at all? Sorry for that, brain needs some rest. Ignore if you can't decipher anything, for me it makes sense atm
markyy0902 Posted September 13, 2016 Posted September 13, 2016 Is there a database or forum out there that adds new descriptions for the apropos dialogues? Been using this mod for 2 years, and while i know it has not been updated since 2015; are there forums out there where people post added/updated apropos descriptions?

ohayou615 Posted September 18, 2016 Posted September 18, 2016 Just a quick question for those who use Apropos with Sexlab Eager NPCs (SLEN). Whenever I choose "I want to be rough with you" in the SLEN dialogue, the aggressive animation play, but the Apropos dialogue is consensual. On the other hand, Sexlab Defeat will play aggressive animations with non-consensual Apropos dialogue. I was wondering if it is possible to make it so Apropos dialogue for "I want to be rough with you" to be non-consensual. How do I assign non-consensual (rape) dialogues for aggressive animations in the context of SLEN? Or is it hardcoded into SLEN? A thousand thanks!

This kind of question has come up before. In this case, Apropos simply selects lines from its database based upon whether the Victim flag has been set on primary actor (PC or NPC). If Victim has not been set, then it selects consensual. Two possibilities: - SLEN is not setting the Victim flag has not been set when the animation was started. - The database file you are using contains consensual-sounding narrative, i.e. was copied (via text editor) for the non-sensual sections.
The Great Orochi Posted September 19, 2016 Posted September 19, 2016 Over two years later, and still my favourite erotic mod that I have. Thanks for such a quality mod, gooser and co.
Grimbold the unlovely Posted September 20, 2016 Posted September 20, 2016 Agree with Orochi. This is the mod that keeps me playing. Thank you, Gooser. Just one question. Lately I have experienced a problem (in just one of my saves). With some threesome anims (especially fdThreesome) I cannot get any messages to display. WHen I press ` I see something about widgetvisible false. (Obviously I want it to be true). Any ideas what might be making the widget invisible? It only happens with threesomes. I have checked all the typing of files. There is no message about json validity, so that is not the issue. Any help appreciated!
ViceVise Posted September 23, 2016 Posted September 23, 2016 I'm absolutely in love with this mod, and with Apropros Edit, I can add lines to specific animations to sate my writing muse. I'm also totally new to creating, editing, or even thinking about the structure of mods, so pardon me if what I'm about to suggest sounds ignorant. How about pronouns? Have Apropros detect the SexLab gender (male, female, transgender, or even non-binary?) of the participants and fill up lines accordingly. I'm not sure if this could be a solution to MM/FF support or not, but it's something I thought of while in Apropros Edit and I just had to ask.
shencereys Posted September 23, 2016 Posted September 23, 2016 This is my favorite SL mod, and It works almost perfectly, but I'm having a problem with some custom-created edits to the text files being too long to fit on the widgets. Neither trying to decrease the font size to minimum, nor enabling the function that carries bleedover text to a different widget has had any effect. While I could edit text files down to a more reasonable size, I was really hoping to get some advice how to either increase the widget size, or get the function which creates secondary widgets to actually work. Any help would be much appreciated!

Any help would be much appreciated! Are you saying that the MCM option for adjusting font size isn't working? Yes and no. The option to reduce the default font size seems to be working (maybe), but the "Player" font size isn't adjustable. You can move the slider and accept a new setting but it doesn't apply and stays at the default 20 both in the menu and in the widget. I'm going to try and see if I can find the prefs file somewhere and manually change the value. Another angle of attack: Is there a non-apropos MCM setting somewhere that configures this, possibly? In either case, the extra widgets don't seem to pop up (e.g. for long text) unless I use the widget test button (and then it's just the default test text)- though I'm unsure if that's by design or not. I'm not certain what conditions need to be fulfilled in order to utilize them, or what kinds of mods might cause a conflict preventing their functionality. Also, thanks for the reply!
Guest Long John Posted September 26, 2016 Posted September 26, 2016 Could someone please recompile the papyrus scripts with the using SlaveTats (1.2.1) and JContainers (3.2.6 or 3.3.0 RC1) moidifications please? Then post it here on the thread so others can get it so the feature will resume working for them. This is for the wear and tear feature as SlaveTats 1.0.5 is way too out of date. Very much no other current modification is requiring that version any more so your abuse tats don't get applied. Thus victims don't get the scars or other abuse marks and have the crying tats applied.

The abuse textures do work on my game - but I have a separate slavetats installation as well, dunno if that has any bearing on the issue. I have to have the "enable W&T skin textures" or somesuch enabled to make them fire off, but they seem to try to fire off after every sex event and erase other interesting things like cum effects when re-applying the W&T texture - so I still don't use them. But they do apply at least for me. Could someone please recompile the papyrus scripts with the using SlaveTats (1.2.1) and JContainers (3.2.6 or 3.3.0 RC1) moidifications please? Guest Long John Posted September 26, 2016 Posted September 26, 2016 @shencereys - What version of SlaveTats are you using as I have SlaveTats installed, as well as JContainers installed and WT Textures activated. However they don't get applied even after animation patch up.

However they don't get applied even after animation patch up. I'm using SlaveTats 1.2.2 with Slavetats Animation Patchups (though I don't know if this affects Apropos), with SlaveTats loading before Apropos if that helps. Side question, to Gooser or anybody else who knows: is there an upper limit to the number of Scene Activated dialogs I should be aware of? I've been playing around with AproposEdit lately and didn't want to overdo it to the point I break the mod.
gooser Posted October 7, 2016 Author Posted October 7, 2016 Updated Apropos, now called "Apropos Classic". Apropos has been in "Beta" mode for a while now, and I am working on a rewrite, outlined a while back. The latest release includes: - Fixed MCM settings export bug. - Now using ObjectReference.GetDisplayName() for retrieving actor names. - Changed Widget implementation, so NPC widget assignments don't get "locked" if a scene stops due to combat or death of an NPC actor. Now there are Widget sections: "PC" (slot 0, topmost), "NPC" (slots 1-3) and "MISC" (slots 4-6). - Updated database: Consolidated with Decauk latest update, but removed all "Piss" and "Shit" references. Added a few new attributes: SWEARING ("Oh shit"), CUMMING, and SCUM ("Filth"). - Recompiled against latest Slavetats API. - Now includes all abuse textures. Primarily a bugfix with polish release. Hopefully the database will be usable by most people now.Stay tuned for the new wave of releases.

I have set nioverride.ini to display overlays and disabled decapitations from VIoLens MCM. Still I can't see them, even with Slaverun Reloaded. When you rewrite the mod, if you have time and interest, then could you give a triple check to that part? It is 03.02 at morning here. I will test the mod at morning and see, if your changes have made any difference. Thank you for the update. Edit: Wrong filename and missing mod name. Fixed.
Guest Posted October 8, 2016 Posted October 8, 2016 Awesome love this mod so glad you're giving it some love
PubliusNV Posted October 8, 2016 Posted October 8, 2016 If there's a new Apropos in the works, I'll have to thing about starting a new game. Hmm, there's another CC alternate start I've been wanting to try ...

Stahlvormund101 Posted October 9, 2016 Posted October 9, 2016 Hey, awesome work here! Could you help me with a problem I have run into? I use apropos and can get the SlaveTat wear and tear textures (cuts, daedric cuts) when my Wear and Tear level is high, but the Tears and Sob textures wont appear although I enabled them in apropos. Also the Skintexture pack including the Cuts, Daedric Cuts, Tear and Sob do no appear in my MCM of SlaveTat. I am using an alternate texture for sperm on body to replace the SexLab vanilla ones and the SexLab Cum on Body bukkakke spell, and the Seductress Serana face applied via Racemenu. Does any of these interfer with the Tear and Sob face texture?

Make sure the dds files are loaded in the correct folder (should be "textures\actors\character\slavetats\Sob Tears" and "textures\actors\character\slavetats\after effects"). Personally I have been using the sperm mod "SexLab Quite the Sperm Replacer 5 Ridiculous Edition" for a while without any issues.

However, I can't get them to show up. 2 things to check: 1) The NIOverride.ini disables face overlays by default (whether from RaceMenu or NIOverride). This is due to a CTD caused when PC (or NPC) is beheaded in a kill move while having an overlay applied. To enable it, open the NIOverride.ini and find the setting bEnableFaceOverlays and set to 1. 2) Not enough face overlay slots. Default is set to 3. Remember that the overlays are used by all tattoo/overlay mods, so if you applied face tats in the RaceMenu, that reduces the number of overlays available to SlaveTats. You can increase that number of face tats in the same NIOverride.ini. Final thing to note, the overlays are layered, so tats applied to the first slot may get overwritten by tats applied to later slots (depends on size and transparency of tats.
