I now have a bunch of devices that say "impossible" difficulty, and will not allow me to struggle at all. Is this legit? There are no modifiers saying that they are inaccessible, but all I can do is "struggle uselessly".

Probably legit:

Metal restraints can't be struggled out of. Use lockpicks / find keys / find help for those. (The latter two options require extra mods.)

Then there are special restraints from some mods which are only meant to be removed on completing a quest.

In addition to gags, there is another problem. If iwantwidgets is running in the interface settings, the orgasm bar stops working normally. The bar is always empty.

I share this sentiment. OSL's mechanic is too weird for my taste. The "lewdness" thing makes it so all NPCs effectively walk around with 80 arousal non-stop. I'm using one of the existing SLAX clones (AXA3 or something) and the timerate and exposure are more intuitive.

I want to chime in that my character is also not getting any orgasms. Is that what the OSL Aroused mod is needed for? In case it wasn't implied well enough, I am using Aroused NG, and definitely not going to be starting a new playthrough right now. too many hours already sunk into this one since yesterday.

 

I've also now stopped having crits occur. They were doing alright, but since loading a save (all I did in the interim was re-run Bodyslide for DDNG), but now they don't happen at all. I've tried with auto-crit, I've tried without, I've tried setting it to HUD only, I've tried setting it to Shader only, I've tried both... no crits at all. Checked in Resaver for a hung script, but there are none. Attached is my papyrus log, hope that helps. If there's another log you need, let me know.

Thats up to the other mods. UD needs to have access to native API so it can update the Arousal. Currently, only OSL have this feature. I can try to update the SexlabAroused NG to also have this feature but I don't know who have taken care of that mod, and where to find the sources

 

Regarding the crits, share UDNative.log from SKSE folder. You also didnt have Trace turned on in UD MCM, so there is barely any information in the Papyrus log you shared. Please turn it on and share it again

That message should show only when wearing the Hand restrain which is not patched by UD. The message also is barely error, dont know why I made it error. Its more of an information. I will remove that error log.

Did you save and load after changing it ? There should be some message with instructions when you enable the IWW UI handling. Did you did it ?

You probably mean the Horny animation. That can be disabled in MCM. Its only short animation that plays when player is aroused

The latest version of OSLA allows you to choose the way how it works - the "OSLA way" or the "traditional way".

Idk if that helps to pin point the problem, but for me it doesn't drop fps... I think. But it does cause freezes for a second or two periodically when running in exterior cells. When idling around it doesn't.

Wasn't this fixed in an earlier version? I had CTD if I even opened an inventory with Black Goo in it, it was caused by the texture. 

 

Now I have an ongoing game with 0502 Nightly Build and I have no issues with Black Goo any more, either with inventory or by eating.

 

I'm on latest AE. I did not try the UD 3.0 extensively, I'm waiting for a bigger mod update (not this one) to get released, before I start a new game.

The new Scout/Warrior/Witch set had an issue, they never critted during struggle minigames, I reported it on NB 0502 version. It should be fixed now by iivanvv.

 

I also experienced very few crits regarding to Abadon gear. While struggling out of about 5 Abadon restraints, I had maybe 1 crit. unfortunately I don't remember on which UD version I had this issue, lately I am switching between setting up a new game with 3.0 and playing with my ongoing game on 0502 NB.

It was, but it seems that the fix didnt work. I personally didnt have any CTD with Black Goo. Even before I did any fix, so this issue must be relevant to game version, or some Engine Fix mod.

I discovered this bug now (and occasionally saw it before). It looks like the widget was not initialized properly and got a very small scale for the color bar. If you're lucky, you might get a few pink pixels on the edge.

 

I don't know the cause of this yet, but I found a solution. After "Reset UI" in MCM, it goes back to normal.

 

To test how widgets work, you can use "TEST WIDGETS" in MCM (UD -> User Interface). During the test widgets take random states, and if the pink widget is (always) empty it is already suspicious.

I've already tried everything. I reinstalled UD and Widgets. I tried turning off the interface and restarting it according to all the rules. I tried resetting the UI. I just don't understand how to fix this crap ( 

 

By the way, regarding the gags. I noticed that only Abadon Ring and Ball don't work. The same Abadon Harness or other UD series gags are displayed correctly on elves. Maybe this can be fixed somehow inside the patch?

The performance drop doesn't happen immediately, it only seems to happen once a device is equipped and doesn't happen till after a few load screens, mcm alterations or saving and reloading/reloading a save that has devices being used which seems to cause it 100% of the time. in addition to the fps drop it also causes the game to often freeze a couple of seconds and crashes when going through load  doors. I only tested with a collar so id have to do more testing with other devices. Removing mods or changing my settings to low also doesn't seem to have any affect.

After resetting the orgasm vars in the debug menu, this stops. This is really nasty, because your arousal sky-rockets to 100% in seconds, and (almost) never goes down again.

Yes, but that would still not work with UD, since it's a different mechanic which apparently new version doesn't support, right?

 

Currently UD plugs don't do anything despite vibrating like crazy. The only arousal gain the character gets is from DIN just by the act of wearing restraints.

 

On the positive side:

 

I really like the new UI, the new effects and the descriptive and immersive feedback they provide. This is such an amazing change, I can overlook the incompatibilities. For now.

By the way, regarding the gags. I noticed that only Abadon Ring and Ball don't work. The same Abadon Harness or other UD series gags are displayed correctly on elves. Maybe this can be fixed somehow inside the patch?

Are you using the NG version of IWW ? Also, please share both UDNative.log and Papyrus log (dont forget to turn on logging first. For SKSE plugin, its in UDNative.ini variable iLogging. For Papyrus, in MCM)

After resetting the orgasm vars in the debug menu, this stops. This is really nasty, because your arousal sky-rockets to 100% in seconds, and (almost) never goes down again.

 

That is because UD is updating arousal on every frame. This is done natively, so that is not the problem. Only problem is the shittone of logs.

Currently UD plugs don't do anything despite vibrating like crazy. The only arousal gain the character gets is from DIN just by the act of wearing restraints.

I really like the new UI, the new effects and the descriptive and immersive feedback they provide. This is such an amazing change, I can overlook the incompatibilities. For now.

It will work if you use OSL. It doesnt matter what setting in MCM you choose. The UD needs to hook the mod natively, not with papyrus.

Yes, I use NG. But if I turn off widgets from UD settings - the bar starts filling up again.

Ah, yes, the log makes sense then. First, arousal goes up quickly because of the vibrating plug, and afterwards it slowly decays naturally. And  the logs aren't a problem, I think (spdlog, 10^6 log operations, or so, per second)

I ran the synthesis patcher (thanks for the guide, super straightforward) and the mod works great with all devices! Is there a reason though why devious devices / NG isn't covered by default with this mod? Only the ~4 abadon items seem to work. It would be cool if all devices were included by default or in optional downloads. I've posted my synthesis patch here with the latest version of GOG for reference, not sure if the game version matters.

 

edit: I see whenever Devious Devices / NG updates, it needs to be rerun, makes sense. Unfortunate it's not fully automatic, still easy to use though.
