SexLab Submit + Devious Devices

I've installed the non-hardcore version of this, but have turned on the hardcore mode on Submit. I have an armbinder and cannot escape from it. I've left the cave where I was subdued and in a town, but cannot talk to anyone (pressing 'e' on all the NPCs)...

 

What's next? Do I wait forever? I got the Devious screen where it gives the three choices and I've tried all of those but still stuck...

Okay, thanks. I could only get the DD panel up by sneaking and trying to pickpocket a friendly NPC in town. The friendlies never responded to the regular 'e' key before... The DD panel comes up right after I cancel out of looking at the friendlies inventory... Weird.

I'm having some trouble making my female PC submit to female opponents. I tried some settings like changing your sexual preference and all, but it had no effect. With males it works well...

 

Is there anything specific I need to change?

EDIT: I mean, the submission works, but she doesn't get strapon-raped or bound...

Go an interesting bug where my PC got the armbinder which made her stand up but my companion remained in the bound/hogtie pose. It seems as if whatever script that the armbinder runs on is overriding the escape sequence including the bit which gets the companion out of the bound pose.

I couldn't take the ball gag off but I could still talk to people... I even got someone to release my arm bindings with the gag on. Still can't get the gag off though.

 

EDIT: After I got the arm bindings off I could no longer talk to NPCs. I got an iron ingot and had no idea what to do with it. I then managed to punch my captor to death and picked up the key to my gag. But I couldn't do anything with the key... am I missing something? I downloaded all of the required mods. What the hell. 

 

Things I tried

 - looking for a craft-able key in the crafting menu = there was none

 - lockpicking my bindings. my fingersmithing (I use SkyRe) is high = it did absolutely nothing, with 80 lockpicks

 - Brute Force over 100 attempts = nothing

 - Look for an option to use the Restraint Key = No Option to use key

 - tried clicking the key in the inventory = nothing

 

I am not using hardcore btw... just normal

 

Edit 2:

One last thing I tried.

Pressing the "Submit hotkey" = Captor resurrected and raped me, then layed back on the floor.

 

Edit again: reloading an earlier save fixed the resurrection rape and the option to use the key showed up in the menu.

If you use the default setting in Devious Devices (185 I think) and you have 80 skill points in Fingersmithing then (if I have the maths right) you would have a -5%  chance of picking the lock

That's weird... so basically you would need near 100 Lockpicking for it to be even remotely useful. At least it can be configured. Also I figured out how to create the keys and found a bug in the process. 

 

When you are unlocking a binding other than the chastity belt and have both a chastity key and a restraint key in your inventory the chastity key is used instead of the restraint key.

Could you make it so that you can choose to have the submit hotkey to be a shout instead that you can pick from the magic menu. Would be great for us who play with control.

I did manage to fix it by using the console and a Zaz command to reset my companion animations back. I think it was "zbfIdleForceReset". So I guess run it after your mod interrupts the escape sequence?

 

I'm stabbing in the dark here so badly I think I hit my foot.

The tirst time I got gagged, got chastity belt and soulgems plugs. i pushed the hotkey a few times and i got standing with my hands free, i could only remove the eye bandage and the gag, i managed to kill the two bandits that raped me but there was no key for the belt! How do I remove it? Now every now and then my pc gets aroused in the middle of combat and it is really easy to get submitted again. She can't sleep either. i tried all gear at the forge but there is no menu to remove it or dialogue with friendly npc.

To remove items:

 

Armbinder - hit the 'Tab' key to struggle, it has a random chance of loosening so you can remove it. If you don't have a gag you can ask someone to remove it for you.

But the aggressors didn't have the keys is this normal?

 

I had to deactivate the devious deviants in the mod manager since it caused cdt at beth logo. maybe there is something wrong.

 

EDIT: I went to the prohibited bookshelf, it is locked and requires a key, Urag does not provide useful info and so i unlocked it via console, then learned how to make belts and keys.

 

The key requires an Ebanon Ingot and a perfect diamond! Damn! i am at level 3! at least the key can be used multiple times or just one? it is the same key for gag and bust devices? one for all? or it is destroyed when i open the belt?

 

I enrolled another carachter and at the first encounter with necromancer at level 1, I got all 3 chastity devices! if I have to craft 3 keys I quit.

 

In the meantime i will instal DD for the masses.

I have an odd problem. When I'm wearing a chastity belt, then lose in a fight and submit, I'd get stripped, see a message saying something about the chastity belt is firmly attached, or something along those lines, and in the rape scene I am still wearing the belt and do not get vag/anal. I assume this was normal and was playing with the idea of making my char. just a virgin... with a long oral history. Something happened (I've been testing many mods out and can't remember what I did or when, but a lot of random things started happening after I updated RaceMenu. I don't think its related at all, but that might set of a bell in someones head) and now when I'm belted and submit, the char loses the chastity belt in the rape scene, gets vag/anal, then gets the belt back on. Is this supposed to happen?

I have been over all the settings for DD, Submit (both the jul11 and jul20 versions), Sub+DD (both normal and hardcore versions), SexLab (yes the slot numbers for the CB and other things are not checked as removable under any aggressive /ect. striping), LoversVictim (anything that might have any conflict or reaction)  so many times now, and even went as far as to delete the game directory, reinstall, reload all mods/patches, and create a new game with Live a Deviant Life v1.2. After the fresh install, and fewer mods installed...it still does the same thing. I've been over this forum and found no mention like what I have. Am I the only one with this problem? Or maybe I was really mistaken and it was SD+ that was working around the belt when starting a rape scene (not striping it like in the sexlab settings). Any ideas/comments?

Also, if you run into a problem with your unlock difficulty settings, and don't want to revert, you can always create a key using the console, unlock the belt, change the settings, and put it back on.

I didn't know how to create the key trough the console, so I created the diamond and the ingot to make the key at the forge! LOL.

 

Lately the game was quite unstable so I decided to delete some of the heavier mods and roll over a new PC.

 

Bancing the settings from the beginning. I would like that removing the belt is hard but not nearly impossible. (5% chance? i tried a lot of times but it is a too low percentage, and maybe it was 5% percentage if lockpicking is at 100. with a fresh character it would be even less!)

Essentially you open the console (press the `~ key in the upper left hand corner of the keyboard), then type:

 

help chastity

 

You'll see a list of text come up.  One of the items should read something like:

 

KEYM: (1E008A4F) 'Chastity Key'

 

There may be more than one entry like this, with a different value (that's okay).

Look at that entry, and then type:

 

player.additem 1e008a4f  1

 

This will add that item (in this case, the Chastity Key) to your character.  You can replace the "1e008a4f" with whatever was in the parentheses on the line when you typed help (It could be something different entirely). 

 

If that one doesn't work, try the next one in the list in the same manner, just with whatever alphanumeric ID that one has instead.

 

Remember, this is for bugfixing and difficulty adjustment and such only - it's no fun if you just cheat to get out of the belt right away!
