@randompeep: So...is your problem still related to the MCM options, or is something different happening (or perhaps more accurately, not happening) now?

Hmm, after updating I no longer have any MCM. At all. Doesn't show up in the menu. Re-installed it, tried changing it's load order, used LOOT to re-order everything, still no MCM.

Dialogue options for sex show up but nothing happens, npc's just carry on normally.

Nothing to do with sexout, it's MCM code hasn't changed in months. Something else is breaking MCM, or it's just not installed properly. Follow instructions in the link in my signature.

Prideslayer you were right. It wasn't this mod. It wasn't any mod.

The culprit was the Nexus Mod Manager. I updated to the latest version and it set itself to start through the damn game launcher and not NVSE.

I've been clicking that button all day without actually reading it, lol.

Set it to launch via NVSE, and viola. All working again.

Ah I seem to have a problem not answering questions directed at me. I'm no longer having the MCM issue, I reverted to a previous save and gave up (deleted) the other ones, so that end is fine now.

 

The [only] issue I am having is upgrading sexoutNG, whenever I do the animations will not play- sometimes just once. Either I'm slow or the console moves faster- but I'm not able to catch "this actor is busy/already having sex" message anymore in the console. I tried casting "sexoutngfinishnow" earlier but that wasn't it.

 

For whatever reason .83 works perfectly fine, so I'll likely wait around until a version releases that actually works for me rather than bothering you guys. :'<

@randompeep (YES, THIS MEANS YOU, RANDOMPEEP ;) ):  I've heard that it's bad to delete saves.  Don't recall the reason.

 

Regardless, if the anim only happens once, it's probably another mod that is culpable as that some stuff in Sexout changed where a mod should look for certain values.  I know that Sexout Sex and Sexout Positioning have been identified and updated appropriately (Sex in OP, Positioning in a post in the support topic by pride, I think).  Whatever mod is starting the sex is probably what needs to be updated.

1)  Is there a reason that the PC doesn't go back to 1st person automatically after sex?  (Provided that you were playing in 1st person before that.)

 

2)  A Spice of Life (clothing replacer) backpack is staying on during sex.  I don't remember it doing that before 85.  I've got Eval, but I haven't ever marked them as "leave on during sex."  Bizarre coincidence?  Just me?

There's always a reason. Probably bug!

I have several characters going and am using the latest versions of SexoutNG, NVSE, and extender. Everything is working well except for my new character. When sex is initiated either via sex key or dialogue, the female does her animation but he just stands there. I am puzzled to say the least. My debug text is attached.

 

 

 

 

 

I might add that the camera is "frozen" unlike my other characters where you can change the view during the sex act by moving the W key.

Someone else who had the same problem found the old Sexout Powder Gangers mod was the cause of the male anim not happening.  Can't advise on other mods.

            set HOffsetB to -15
          endif

 

 

      This will set actorB to slightly below the Z of the Horner (to account for slopes/slight land derivations) and move them back toward the hind legs. The current setting is +30 Z with no X/Y correction, which results in actorB being placed into the creature's belly.

I do not have that mod. I did as Pride suggested-disabled all of my sex mods, made a clean save and started adding them beginning with those which only required sexoutng and finally addiing the rest. Everything is now working as it has been for the rest of my characters. I think I must have screwed up the configuration somehow.

Thanks, I'll test it out with those values and see how it looks. Before I do though I have a few questions.

 

1. Did you test with the default body (T6M) included with sexout? Since that's the default body, that is the one the default alignments are done with/for.

 

2. Your character is not scale adjusted, right? Scale should be default, 1.0.

 

3. Did you toggle foot IK off before adjusting (tfik in console)? If not, the results won't be consistent. Sexout doesn't toggle it itself (because it can't), but the default alignments are done that way so that, one day when sexout *can* toggle it, it will.

1.  No. Tested using the 'BreathingIdles' bodies from Preg. Given the mesh shape of T6M, I imagine alignment would fare better.

 

2.  Scales between 0.95 - 1.01 align well. Given the 'size' of the big horner, it's hard to miss.

 

3.  No. I tested on various slight ground elevations, along with TCL on and off. Does FootIK work like TCL in that it modifies the player's Z value by disabling collision detection? If so, you may experience ground clipping on hands/knees (but the alignment will be good).

In general, IK is an animation system that tries to adjust multiple joints in order to move one part of a model. With IK on, pulling 'up' on a hand will potentially bend the wrist, elbow, shoulder, and even the waist if pulled far enough -- whereas with IK off, it will only bend the wrist.

 

Turning the foot IK off prevents the engine from trying to keep the feet planted firmly on the ground regardless of the animation.

Hmm, being the creator of PregnancyV3, I'm confused, there are Pregnancy body meshes used in Pregnancy and only the one animation for the Birthing sequence. No idea what BreathingIdles means..........

      Right you are Hal, they're actually from Breeders. Got them mixed up because (if I recall right) the archive contains preg meshes.

 

 

   Tested with FootIK off and noticed no issues with height, though I would change

 

'set VOffsetB to -10'         to           'set VOffsetB to -3'

One of the character is already engaged in sex. Search this topic for ways to solve it, if it looks permanent.
