SLUTS Redux 2

SLUTS Redux 2 is an update of SLUTS Redux.  I'm providing SLUTS Redux 2 because there's no longer a recent version of SLUTS for LE players.  SE players have SLUTS Resume (though Redux 2 will work for them -- see Skyrim SE Compatibility below).  Redux is separate from Resume and does not contain that mod's unique content.

 

Description

Ever hankered for a career in the cargo industry?  Well, now is your chance!  

 

The carriage drivers of Skyrim have banded together to form the Skyrim Licensed Universal Transport Service, and they're recruiting!  The pay is good, and you get your own cart and even a smart uniform to wear.  The job isn't without risk, of course, but then what job is?  Talk to a carriage driver, a steward, or an innkeeper to get started.

 

This is a ponygirl mod.  You get locked into a yoke, hooked up to a cart, and told to pull it to another city -- for which you get paid.  That is, unless too many bandits have their way with you on your trip.  If that happens, they'll pilfer from the cart as well, and you can end up owing money to the Company.  But that's not a problem!  They'll just send you on another run until you can pay off your debt.  You can volunteer for the job, accept the work as "rehabilitation" in exchange for clearing your bounty, or be bought from Simple Slavery for indentured employment.

 

If the title wasn't a big enough giveaway, the treatment of women in this mod is very sexist; don't use it if you're not okay with that.  Unfortunately, male characters are not supported, because most of the equipment pieces used by this mod are just not set up for them.  There is no bestiality (I'm not opposed to it, but the mod doesn't need it).  That said, depending on your other mods, animals might still assault you while you're working.

 

Skyrim SE Compatibility

This mod is not intended to compete with SLUTS Resume, but if you really want to use it on SE, feel free.  Redux 2 should work for Skyrim SE/AE if you take these steps:

Install the mod.

Delete the BSA file (which only contains the logo image for the MCM).

Install the SLUTS SE Meshes patch.

 

Requirements

XPMSE Skeleton, SexLab, SexLab Aroused, Zaz Animation Pack, Devious Devices 4 or higher (5 is recommended).

 

New Features

A choice of 4 carts, selectable through the MCM.

New configuration settings for a more challenging experience.

Devious Devices 5's fast functions are used where possible, but it will fall back to DD 4 functions if DD 5 is not found.

Fixes bugs with the rehabilitation program not starting and the Simple Slavery outcome only working one time.

Dirt effect is now limited to just when you're pulling the cart.
Various enhancements, optimizations, polishing, and fixes.

 

Older Features of SLUTS Redux 1

Summarized from the SLUTS Redux mod page:

 

All nine holds are supported.

 

Simple Slavery support, which includes MCM settings for amount owed when bought from the slave market.

Support for needs mods/Frostfall.

 

Customizable ponygirl costume.  Choose one of five color themes, four tail styles, and a choice between a Yoke/Breast Yoke/Armbinder/Handcuffs.

 

Base pay is affected by distance and is adjustable.
 
Overtime bonus setting.

 

Choose your destination after finishing your first job.

 

Spontaneous failure.  Did some super stealthy thief plunder your cargo without your notice?  Or maybe you where in such a hurry you didn't notice your cargo got knocked loose on one of the bumpier roads.  Set a chance in MCM that your perfect run will turn out not so perfect when you reach your destination. 

 

Rehabilitation Program.  So, you have a criminal fine under 10000 gold you don't want to pay or go to jail for?  No problem!  S.L.U.T.S. will be happy to convert your fine into a reduced (or increased) arrears debt you can work off hauling freight!  Just turn yourself in to a local guard and ask about our world class rehabilitation program!  Conversion rate is adjustable in the MCM.

 

Breaks for food or rest for voluntary workers is allowed.

 

Humiliation system.  Want to skip the walk to your Escrow Chest?  Ask your dispatcher the right questions and he'll teleport it to you!  Just so long as you don't mind a doing questionable return favor as well as doing some advertisement duty.


Updating From SLUTS Redux 1.x

You can update to SLUTS Redux 2 in an existing game (treat it as a normal version update) but do NOT update during a cargo run.  After updating, look over your MCM settings.  Most settings will carry forward, but some are new or different.  If the hoof gloves look wrong, rerun BodySlide.  I optimized the mesh so that it no longer overwrites the body.

 

Incompatibilities

Any mods that that remove or replace the vanilla carriage drivers.

 

Known Issues

- The cart has glitchy physics.  Saving, exiting the game completely, and reloading should settle it down.
- Removing conflicting devices can be slow, even with DD 5.  Don't show up for work wearing an armbinder or yoke and you won't have to wait.

Version 2.0.0

 

New:  A choice of 4 carts, selectable through the MCM:  Cargo - Logo, Cargo - Plain, Passenger - Logo, and Passenger - Plain.  "Cargo" carts carry chests and satchels.  The "Passenger" style is taller and slightly larger, a modified passenger cart with a chest and some sacks in place of the seat (no one actually rides).  The smaller cart was created by Rob_J and modified by slvsaris, with arms adjustment and plain version by Hex Bolt.  The passenger with cargo version was provided by Talishira.

 

New:  MCM setting, "Hauling is strenuous".  Pulling a cart is strenuous work.  While tethered to a cart, stamina regenerates 10% slower, and it depletes twice as fast while sprinting.

 

New:  MCM setting, "Add weight".  Add invisible weight to your pony girl while she's pulling a cart.  Useful for encumbrance mods that adjust player speed based on inventory weight.  Since you're carrying nothing except the outfit, you might otherwise get a speed boost from these mods even though you're pulling a heavy cart.

 

New:  An Extreme Debt option, the chance (default is zero) to receive the maximum Simple Slavery debt.

 

Changed:  Where possible, DD 5's fast functions are used, but it will fall back to DD 4 functions if DD 5 is not found.
Changed:  You no longer get dirty from having sex after delivering your cargo and being freed from the cart.
Changed:  Simple Slavery debt now uses a configurable range rather than 3 fixed amounts.
Changed:  Raised the default Rehab Rate and increased the slider range.
Changed:  Small repositioning of Dawnstar delivery hub.
Changed:  Optimized the hoof mittens so that they no longer overwrite the body.
Changed:  Some dialog polishing and typo corrections.

Fixed:  Includes a fix previously posted by CliftonJD for guard rehab dialog.
Fixed:  Choosing your destination was only available after the second haul, not the first.

Hello. SlutsResume signed as compatible with LE and i have it installed.

Seems it would be wrong to just replace mod. New game or cleaning required?

4.0 no longer loads in outdated versions of the game due to changes Bethesda made to the CK, which these versions reject (afaik, mostly a new header version)

Further, due to this change (and the release of this version), I no longer see much point in avoiding certain dependencies, such as DDR. so while any attempt at backporting Resume 4.0+ has my blessings, itll be increasingly difficult to actually do so without severely harming the intended experience

It used to, but now it doesn't.  The header type for the LE version of Resume is incompatible with LE.

I don't know.  If you can point me to the patch, I can look.  If it worked with Redux, it very likely works here.  I haven't made drastic changes.

I'd encourage you to mention the problems to Scrab to see if she can fix them.  As an author, I know I'd appreciate knowing about problems.

However, if you'd like to do some investigation, that would tell us how much would have to be converted.  Install Redux 2 but delete (or extract) the BSA; it only contains the background graphic for the MCM.  The BSA will crash SE, so you must remove it.  Do "player.moveto xx02A7DB" and see if Lucius Pullo in Falkreath looks okay (no gray face).  Spawn each of the carts and see if they look okay too (you won't be able to use them since you're not on the job).  player.placeatme xx00849A.  Repeat for xx00951B, xx082F71, and xx082F72.  I might be able to convert the carts and faces by just running them through CAO, but I haven't done much of that.  Presumably, you'd also need the XPMSSE skeleton (on Nexus) if you're not already using it, or the cart won't attach.

I rather use LE. SE to me is just too unstable and likely to crash, i use same mods for both games and LE is way more stable. But again Bethesda have something to do with since they like to add more unnecessary updates to mess more with the mods.

That's why i play SE for normal game and LE for flavored game

Just deleting the BSA worked fine although I expect the minor holds are buggered (player.moveto xx02A7DB didn't lead anywhere and there's no cart anywhere in Falkreath)  but a test run from Whiterun to Riften worked well (including the dirty s.l.u.t.s tattoos which is a removed feature in resume and a motivation to try this version on SE.)

The dispatcher (Lucius) and the bench should be there, regardless of game version.  Maybe you had a typo or Lucius wandered off.  There is no cart at Falkreath.  The dispatch points for the cities without carriages are "mini hubs" with just a dispatcher and a seat.

 

Try coc FalkreathExterior05.  Lucius and his wood bench should be just to the left of the gate (city mods that expand the gate area could conflict).

 

If the mini hubs are okay and if both the "cargo" and "passenger" style carts work, I can mark the mod as being SE compatible (I'd have to remove the BSA too).

The dirt was a real annoyance if you didn't fast travel and if you engaged in much sex (prostituting in the town you're in to earn some gold) before retrieving your stuff from the chest, so it's understandable that it got removed.  For Redux 2, you only get dirty while you're actually on the job, so you have the dirty effect but without the weirdness of getting filthy doing it in an inn's (supposedly) clean beds.

I love your mods and I appreciate you creating stuff for LE still. Can we expect some interactions between this and your mods in the future? Besides what's already in place.

Guys, I apologize for missing your questions.  Apparently, I did not get automatically subscribed as a follower to my own support topic, so there was no notification of anything new to see.  I have now manually activated following this post.

Probably not, because other than this special case, I want to support players on all versions of Skyrim.  So, if I were to add new interactions, it would have to be general enough to also work with SLUTS Resume (the SE version).  Simple Slavery++ and Submissive Lola functional identically with either Redux or Resume, and I want to keep it that way.

Ah, I wasn't aware of that, other than the Frostfall harness being enchanted.  I don't really plan a direction change.  Since Redux has been static since 2019, and it had the known bug with the rehabilitation program, I just wanted to give LE players an updated version with that fix, the new carts, and a fresh coat of paint.  I chose the "Redux 2" name to convey the idea that this is just a continuation of Redux, rather than a reimagining of the concept.

 

S.L.U.T.S. is a mature mod that does what it should, thanks to the efforts of DocClox and MrEsturk.  Future updates will likely be more polishing (I have more dialog updates in the works), any customization options that make sense, and a few quality-of-life enhancements like import/export of settings.

Version 2.0.1

 

New:  Import & export your settings from the MCM System page.
New:  The MCM System page displays your number of cargo hauls.
Changed:  Changed the display of "Maximum pilferage" from a gold amount to a percentage.
- You do NOT need to change your setting (it was already stored internally as a percentage).
- Expanded the help text to explain how pilferage works.
Changed:  Renamed "All debt goes to arrears" to "All debt must be paid with wages" and fixed its help text.
Changed:  Filtered out irrelevant dialog options, such as complaining about body writing if livery is turned off.
Changed:  Various wording and punctuation edits.

what version of Resume is this based off of?

 

Resume is version 4.1 now.

 

Do you still need the DCL and POP patches?

It's not.  "SLUTS Redux 2 is just an update of SLUTS Redux."

 

Resume is Scrab's work.  It used to be LE compatible, but it no longer is, so I revived Redux since it was the only alternative for players on LE.

Hey

I have a question, has anyone had a problem where when he talks to the driver, everything is fine, he is ready, he gets up from the seat and goes to cast a spell, but when he casts the spell he continues or walks away slowly? I must admit that I always try to use this mod and since 2018 I have been hitting the wall in one way or another. Sometimes this interaction goes further, sometimes shorter. I don't know what's wrong. I have all the dependencies met and this mod is almost at the top of the list. Any suggestion?
