I'm glad to see you've taken over the renovation of this mod. I've been using Resume which is also excellent, but the latest version has been causing compatibility issues with my client that prevented me from continuing to use it. While I've read the description, I'd like to ask if there will be a dedicated SE version specifically developed? Additionally, I'm particularly fond of Lola and have always used Sluts as supplemental content to enhance Lola's experience rather than playing it standalone. I hope this mod could incorporate more interactive elements with Lola, and I'm eagerly looking forward to it.

I'm not planning a version for SE, but some players have reported that this mod works with SE if you just remove the BSA file (which isn't really needed).  If you try this version on SE, you might report your experiences to help others.

Suggestions are welcome, but I don't have anu plans for interactions with Submissive Lola other than the exist Road Trip event.  For Lola, I do want to be compatible with both SLUTS Redux and Resume.

A slight wording mistake (I guess, me being foreign and all)

When I tell the broker "I'm going to another hold..." he replies: "But, if you're will to take a small pay cut" - shouldn't that be "willing"?

 

And I wanted to complain about the bill of lading, but looked it up first - and learned a new word. Dat be some wyrde language...

 

A suggestion:

I asked for cargo wearing some Devices, which were unlocked for the run - but not relocked afterwards. Not sure how much of a hassle it would be to lock them back on, or if it's intended to use SLUTS as an opportunity to get out of Devices. Could be a toggle in the MCM.

Yes, thanks.  Fixed for the next update.  The mod has a fair number of typing mistakes.  I fix them when I come across them.  There are also a few grammatical errors.  I fix ones that are clearly wrong, but the dispatcher's speech was clearly intended to be casual and "rural", so I leave wording that seems to be intentional.

Yeah, lading is one of those words that I never hear except as part of the term, bill of lading, but it works well (in English) for hauling freight.

I'll add that to the ideas list.  My guess is that the choice was expediency, though it's also easy to rationalize that dispatchers wouldn't bother to reequip devices.  I think I can just make a list of the devices that are removed, then optionally reequip them when the SLUTS devices ae removed.

Some remarks after playing with this mod for a bit.

 

1st of all: it works. You might say, "why certainly. it has to!" but over on AE the Sluts resume doesn't. At least not in a sensible way that I like.

 

That cart is great for roadkills. I haven't counted all those pesky goats that always get between your feet. Run them over, done. Same with assassins and most other instances that want to take your life - Aaargh, she's not even stopping!!!

Unfortunately, the physics of the static cart is a bit off. Followers and NPCs can get into the perimeter of the two boxes, but seem to be stuck inside. With NFF, my follwer (and Lola owner) is protected, otherwise I'd have to get a new one after every few runs.

 

Nice feature that the dispatcher in Riften remembers that you've been a slave for them before, "you know how this works"

 

When you're doing multiple runs, it feely unimmersive that the spell that locks you into devices and makes the tattoo, at first unlocks and cleans you. I understand that it's the safest way to do it from a clean slab, but it feels odd.  Also I'm not sure if these multiple quests clean properly up after them. I had five questmarkers on the same spot to get my gear. (see picture) (you might remember that I had that with Lola quite some time ago. It's not game breaking, just odd)

Also I feel (don't have proof) that the cart physics get wonky after some runs. So when I can, I get out of the gear, and then ask for the next run. Because although the spell refreshes DDs and tattoos, the cart stays the same (if doesn't fly into the orbit. which happened once in ~20 runs)

 

So thank you for this mod - but no time to talk, I need to deliver stuff to Winterhold!

So, no problems on AE?  (I assume that you deleted the BSA file as suggested to get it to work.)  I haven't had solid feedback on that yet.  If it works okay, then I'll update the SE Compatible flag on the mod page.

Yeah, I can't change cart physics, but for me, it always settles down if I save, exit the game completely, then resume playing.  One way to deal with a friendly NPC stuck in the cart is to target him, "disable" in the console, move the cart, and "enable".  That's a crude approach that has potential side effects, but it's generally fine for non-quest NPCs.

Agreed.  It's weird to me too, but when one takes over mod, it's "You break it, you fix it", so I've been reluctant to mess with it.  I do have a note to look at it sometime.

I think I know what's causing that, after dealing with the problem in Sub Lola.  I've noted this as an item to fix.  Thank you for reporting it.

No, unfortunately not. It installs, the MCM loads and I can start a delivery quest (don't remember if I actually made a run) but the hoof mittens are invisible, both on my character as in the inventory. They are in the Data folder where I'd expect them (confirmed with Nifscope that they're okay) but they are invisible. 

The tattoo appears neither on character, nor even in the Slavetats menu.

 

My post referred to playing on LE, none of the versions of SLUTS  works (for me) on AE

How do I trigger the Rehab Guard dialogue? Or is this blocked by the Cursed Loot crime system? The option from Devious Lore to get tied up is available.

I don't know if DCL would block it.  The option is, "Is there anything else I could do to settle my fine?"  It's added to the end of the "I'm the Jarl's Thane" topic, so if you're a thane and you haven't used your get out jail free option yet, that might block it.  Otherwise, the bounty must be less than 1000 ten thousand (and the PC must be female, of course).

 

Edit:  The bounty limit is 10,000, not 1000.

It does. You're really fast in answering - I just started a new game with DCL disabled and got just the line you quoted.

Hmm, okay. I tested Whiterun and Solitude, and I think I wasn't Thane in Solitude...

(but it didn't trigger anyway, not even with a 40 or 50GS bounty respectively, so Cursed Loot seems to be the culprit)

Oh, actually it is ten thousand.  Too many zeros.  It looked like 1000.  That seems really high, but there's no sense changing it.  Good luck working off a bounty like that.  :)

A slight inconvenience:

untethering from the cart always uses the "struggle ouf of an armbinder" animation, regardless which heavy bondage is used.

 

And a question:

there are coloured dresses and golden piercings in the inventory of this mod. Are they being used and I failed to trigger those events, or are they remnants of the original?

You wrote in an earlier post that the plug for letter delivery isn't used.

I made a note to look at it.  This might just be a DD thing.

I think the piercings are one of the advertising options if you complain about needing money or something after a run but before recovering your gear.  There's probably unused legacy content.  I haven't removed much, just in case it's actually used somewhere.

Was able to trigger the (blue) hobble dress for desperately wanting my stuff back.

With a weird behaviuor of that dress. The slim dress gets equipped for about a second, but most of the time he talks I'm naked. Only after that a dress is equipped, with two possible outcomes, the slim hobble dress or the wider bondage dress.


Was not able to get only my money and/or trigger the piercings. My last words are "All right, all right, I'll walk." No difference between Speech skill 32, or 50 with Persuasion perk.


One slight lapse: I could not ask for a normal haul, because I'm on advertising service, but was able to ask if he needs something transported to another hold. The advertising time persists though, so there's nothing broken.

 

And a script problem(?) - trying to equip something to slot 32 unequips it instantly. Any other slot makes me flicker for a while, w/o really unequipping stuff, and me fearing for a crash any second now. I'm sure that you can do better, Sub Lola has no such problems.

 

And one wording issue: "Hmm... well I did win this gorgeous dress in a card game. That was awkward walk home for her. (...)"

that was an akward walk?

The mod randomly chooses the humiliation event in advance when you say, "I've got a delivery for you!"  I think that choice is then locked until your next delivery.

This was after the blue hobble skirt?  Possibly SLUTS was trying to be sure that you really wear it.  I've noted the problem, but I'll have to play through that one to see what SLUTS is doing.  I think the problem should end when you return to your escrow quest and the quest ends.

Ah, okay. It was all from the same Quicksave after completing a delivery, and being told to go back to Escrow to grab my stuff.

No, sorry for being unclear. I asked the guy who just received my delivery, why I'm stuck (in Morthal) without money. The other topics, to get my gear (and being humiliated) worked. I did not, on that save, test to just fast travel and grab my stuff from escrow - that works flawlessly.

Argh, why does debugging need so many words?!

It was, of course, some time after getting equipped with the hobble skirt, but as I got my stuff back, there were restraint keys, and I'd already taken it off.

Unequipping clothes or armour from slot 32 went fast. While I still was in the inventory to equip them, they were already unequipped. (I don't use fastkeys to equip stuff)

But when I tried to put on other clothes (no idea about the slots, the stockings use some really off one) or headgear, everything started to flicker, my body appearing and disappearing a few times per second.

I don't see anything in SLUTS that seems likely to do that, but I'll watch for anything that looks suspicious.  If you're still having issues, you might try DD's debug option to terminate DD quests and see if that makes a difference, or check to see if anything invisible is still equipped that you don't expect to see.

Just to be very clear: This happend only during the 24h advertisment period, where I wasn't allowed to wear anything, as to not cover the SLUTS logo painted on my body.

That ended at the right time, and did not leave any problems behind.

Okay, I just gave it another test (with a different outcome than the hobble skirt)

At first, when I equipped body clothing, gloves, or boots, they were unequipped right away.

Then I tried s/th with an unusual slot - did not unequip, my body flickered furiously on and off, until I unequipped that by hand. Kept flickering for a few seconds afterwards.

The Forsworn Headdress then caused problems too - I kept flickering.

After some more testing, my hands and feet vanished.

Being curious, I tried to equip DD boots - CTD.

Please don't take my bug reports as "aah, this darn thing is broken! Fix it yesterday!!!!"

Do when you find the time, the mod works really well and I love it.

I would like to comment on the cart physics. First, I'm well aware of it's poor reputation. However, I have found it to be quite robust. I like to take short cuts and so have taken it over scree and forded streams. Where I have a problem is when I agree to remain a pony. 

 

I have no issue with the first connection (whether I sign up or am indentured to SLUTS). And, I generally have no problem with the second (when I agree to take another run). But, when I agree to take a third run the cart will "launch itself into space". (Actually it looks more like one of those events in a sci-fi/fantasy movie where two people try to exist in the same space). 

 

So, I have started making a point on this third (and future) runs to stop before I end the second run and save the game. Then, if I quit the game entirely and reload the very same game, that seems to prevent the problem. I have no idea why I have the problem or why saving and reloading seems to fix it, but I wanted to share that here in case it "shakes something loose" for someone else.

 

It seems to me, although it has been a while, that I had that same issue with SLUTS Resume as well, but I may be misremembering.

That's been my experience too, regarding the first run or two.  The cart behaves well for me.  I rarely do more than two consecutive runs, though.  The process of gearing up for consecutive runs could probably be reworked, but I've been reluctant to mess with that for fear of opening Pandora's box and releasing unexpected new problems.  Save, exit game, and reload usually stabilizes the cart for me if there's a problem.

I've found 2 reasons to do more than 2 consecutive runs. The first is simply when I am sent to SLUTS by Simple Slavery. It is unusual for 2 runs to be sufficient to pay my debt. The other is when I want to get the free set of pony gear.

Just for the record, if anyone even reads this thread.

Going from Falkreath to Riften or vice versa, the shortest route is through Helgen. Even if you're ignoring the bandits, there are some heaps of rubble which make it impossible to take a cart through town, and the route around town through the mountains is no fun either.

There are some mods rebuilding Helgen, I've found this to be lightweight and with a clean route through the gates: Helgen Rebuilt

You're getting a reward for doing three, four, five... consecutive runs the first time. But you can ask the dispatcher to release you, go to the tavern for a good nights sleep, and ask the same guy for another run, so cart physics are reset.
