I know I should have been paying attention when this was asked, but can anyone quote or link a procedure for updating v1.05d to v1.07?

 

See the note in red I added to the download page (or first post here).

 

Hey man, thanks so much for changing the slave collar to be more graphic card friendly. Earlier it was spazzing out with graphical artifacts.... but now everything has a stark blue gleam. As if the normal maps have silver snow glistening across it. 

 

Perhaps adding lash tattoes onto the char, as opposed to decals would be both technically sparing and aestheticaly more attractive?

Screenshot? I don't know what you mean by blue gleam... the PC should be covered in blood while wearing the collar.

 

first time i get captured, note came : getting Scene 0  and then ctd . repeated at this Point.

i dont have the nerves to run after those bugs again and keep with the old sd.

 

Give 1.08 a try. I rewrote the sex scenes to take into account both gender restrictions and attached devices.... which means you should have less chance of getting involved in oral sex if you are wearing a gag for example.

Indentured servant - it is normal that your wrists binds are not released at first.  You need to reach a certain level of demerits in order for your master to trust you with your hands :)  I think the limit is set to -20 or -30... something like that.

 

Coveted - in addition to hate rape conditions and gradual response from everybody even if you are wearing clothes, you will get 'naked' attacks from NPCs with low morality if you are not wearing anything at all and if you are just wearing clothes (eventually, the influence of sanguine's world will make wearing clothes a moot point).

 

One day when I am done fixing bugs and adding new features (and fixing the bugs I introduce with these new features), I will probably have to write a guide book to the rules of SD :)

1.08 seems much more stable from a game-play perspective. Everything seems to be working more or less as intended. I can even dance now.

 

I haven't tried the Payback or Spriggan quests yet.

 

Mostly because I keep getting CTD, but I'm not sure that SD+ is the cause... things were a bit unstable on my other save that doesn't have SD+ enabled on it. I think I may just be running too many buggy SexLab mods at once :)

I am interested in knowing if Zaz animations are missing their props in punishment scenes (making your PC appear hanging in mid air).

 

I thought it was something I did in SD+ but I had the same thing in Prison Overhaul.

- Refractory Period: This effect is added twice (or more) when enslaved, judging from the description of it, this is intentional. However (for me at least) On eslavement a minimum of 2 are added. One is suppost to end (or at least it counts down like any status effect) it doesn't (or at least my hud says it doesn't). The other doesn't end until enslavement is over. (not sure if this one is suppost to stay or even be there.

Slow down and carry weight loss are linked. I added them to make it harder to escape. I probably went too far in the other direction. I'll have to fix that.

 

Asking Sanguine should send you back to where you died... eventually, he will take you to a random destination since 'back to where you died' can be unreliable.

Has anyone had luck using this alongside Requiem? I usually end up getting killed before I can be enslaved. The lack of health regen also means that it's near impossible to escape.

I am using Requiem and actually, I am experiencing the opposite problem. I don't know if it was from wearing Devious Devices but I found it was very difficult to get killed at all. I had to stand in the middle of a fight between a pack of wolves and a dragon in order to get killed.

 

The only problem I found between Requiem and SD was about carrying weight - I had to bump up the base carrying weight in Requiem in order to be able to move at all when receiving money or food from my Master.

 

Other than that, Requiem is working great with SD so far.

Started again with 1.08 and ran into a group of 4 vampires with level 2. I discovered something interesting during testing:

Those vampires seemed on rampage mode, they attacked everything in sight, even foxes. Somehow surrendering to them did not work, neither manual nor automatic. The message you are stripped and pinned to the ground occured multiple times, but they kept attacking, eventually killing me. I tried about 10 times. Now comes the surprise though: I thought lets test if submitting via the mod Submit works and attempted to manually surrender via Submit. It also only worked for 1-2 seconds, one vampire tried to feed on me but started aggroing afterwards.

 

Here is the relevant papyrus section of one of those attempts. I am no expert, but i died and it reloaded automatically then, i think the last 3 lines of the log except are indicating that.

I am running the immersive patrols mod series and the populated lands mod series, so i would guess that this 4 vampire group is from one of those mods. Could those have some extra ai which overrides both SD+ and Submits surrender routines? This game has been the first time in a very long while i remember that Submit did not work correctly too.

 

I am writing this wall of text because my hope is that it could help in bug testing if every fellow lovelab member tries as doubleproof if the surrender works also surrendering in an alternative way via Submit or Defeat. If the surrender still doesn't work this would filter out unneccesary bug reports because of other mods or general Skyrim weirdness.

 

Edit: To add more weirdness, i tried to only lure one of the 4 vampires to attack me, and now it worked, he beat me down and enslaved me properly.

So another wild guess would be that the vampire life drain attack isn't blocked correctly when there are multiple vampires and those cause reaggro then while the script tries to execute.

possible 1.08 bug to report:

 

the whipping animation (I think it is scene 5 in the debug messages) failed to start repeatedly and I had to use the End-Scene control to get out of a stasis with my owner. I could still talk to them, but only dialog options were from mods other than SD+. All of the other punishments I got to seemed to work fine though, no missing furniture, but I am sure that I didn't get through them all.

 

many thanks for all of your hard work on this, it seems to me to be getting more and more stable all the time

Thanks... I found a potential source of infinite loop in scene 5. I need to test it out. If it works, that will be part of the next update.

I didn't miss it.... I thought I would spend more time today working on problems with the mod instead of answering forum comments :)

 

Now that this update is out, back to some comments:

 

Hi there are some problem of V1.07 in my game.

 

1. i cant update the Coveted option in MCM. After i click on it and close MCM, it shows SD has some update. But then i open mcm again it still not be selected.

 

Not sure what is happening here. I can select Coveted here even after Sanguine has been installed and started.

 

2. I have dangerous night, sometimes i am enslaved, after sleep game just ctd.

 

There isn't much I can do with that sort of conflict. Until mods like Dangerous Nights add ways to turn them on or off when other mods need it, or some other way to detect conflicts, that kind of issue will remain. Right now the only solution would be to remove the sleep event in case someone is using Dangerous Night... not very practical.

 

3. In V1.07, i got a message shows on left top "[sdqs_snp] Update-Starting scene:5". I think it means the whip scene will start, but no animation there. I remember it worked well in 1.06 version.

 

I spent more time on the whipping and punishment scenes. I am hopeful they are more stable now but I am still looking for feedback. They are working well in my tests.

 

4. Sometimes after i chose angry option and talk to master again, i can see new dialogue "please" But nothing happen after chose this option.

 

'Please' was a placeholder. I added some action to it now so that it wouldn't be confusing.

 

5. About the punishment, i only got Whipping ,having sex and being equip an anus plug. What about gag and blinder? are they viable in this version?

 

Gags and blinders were causing issues with the scene. I disabled them for now. They will return later after I get a chance to rewrite a better way to add these punishments.

 

6. In V1.06 i saw a message like "skip scene:7" I guess thats dance animation. But no animation start on my PC. What's the problem? I havent test it in version1.07.

 

I added missing animation files in 1.06 I think. Make sure you run FNIS for users ( Danguine Debauchery needs to be listed as one of the mods with behavior files updated in order for dances to work).

 

7. I enter sam's dreamword with gag from Alternate Start - Live a Deviant Life. It didnt be removed automaticly.

 

It should be removed in 1.08.

 

8. If i escape with full restrant items, and start next enslavement, new master just remove them and dont use new things one me. Then i can stand near master and ever attack on master.

 

I thought that issue with re-enslavement was fixed. I will have to check that again.

 

9. I didnt get any items after sent back from sam's world.

 

That should work better in 1.08

DD shouldn't effect combat difficulty (Beyond the obvious distraction of vibrating plugs :P)

Got enslaved by a necromancer now, but the starting message played twice (you are stripped and pinned to the ground). Instead of the normal kneeing pose the default pose was standing. I could talk to my master and everything worked, expect that i got no notification messages about changes in master relations.

After a while i could chose the "let me work for you" dialogue option, but nothing happened. And the master has been quite passive, but was very often playing an eating or drinking animation.

 

 

And if you are assaulted by coveted is there a check for real enemies? I died once because a NPC started sex via coveted, but during the sex scene bandits appeared and killed me. I couldn't hit space fast enough to skip the sex scenes.

 

Final bug report for today, once during a punishment scene in the cage the master also tried to fuck, my char was switching every 2-3 seconds between standing in the cage and being fucked while the master was constantly playing a fucking animation, switching between fucking my char and the air.

 

But overall nice progress, i think 1.08 is already quite a bit less buggy than 1.05. If you keep up this rate i think by version 1.12 SD+ will be at least as stable as original SD, and given the scope of the mod this is amazing.

Honestly same for me SD plus has issues but is way better.

Ran into a Bug although I think its linked to sexlab submit (which I have all player related disabled) my character never goes into essential state she just dies when her health gets low enough for enslavement.

Does one merely need the Devious Devices assets to get them to work with SD+ or is another mod also required?

 

You would need to install DD Integration to go with DD Assets

Ah yes I installed that, but nothing is done with it. The owner never bothers to use any of those devices, and hell the punishments sometimes straight up break, for example Punishment 5 or whatever just straight up freezes my character, she can't move. She eventually rag dolls, gets up and is still frozen. Meh. And then nothing happens at all.
