Sanguine Debauchery (SD+) (January 2025)

The SD+ mod author deserves a lot of kudos for having come up with what is the most stable version since inception. Sure, there's a few glitches, but when aren't there?  

 

DD has worked pretty well when I tested it out last week.  Haven't tested the latest update, as been trying to do some real gameplay.  If the 'no lockpick' when armbinder is in play works, that will make a greatly improved game experience 

 

With regard to DD integration with SD+, I think it would be good.  The integration with Submit is excellent, and here it could add rather than detract

 

For instance, with SD+ the DD Quest locked collars presently seem to result in loads of spam about [Housekeeping] as the SD+ collars and restraints don't want to play with them etc - it would be good to lose that and the like.

 

Only other thing I have noted where the two seem at odds is related to the DD mod Min saying that when you set up Sexlab Stripping options to prevent the de-equipping of the Framework slots his items use, this also prevents Sexlab triggering those animations that would be blocked by his plugs and gags.  That doesn't seem to prevent the SD+ protagonists using orifices which are already 'plugged in' by the DD quest.  Not sure why, but I think I read upstream somewhere that SD+ is possibly a mix of animations, some from the Framework, and some 'hard coded, so to speak, using the old SexiS anims?  If that's not so, then there may be something squiff in the links between SD+ and the Framework in that respect, but it's more an aesthetic matter than one of real 'operational' substance

My plan for now is to have an optional add on for SD and DD compatibility, like we already have with Frostfall.... but that will limit what we can do with the devices unless I can think of a workaround, maybe using PapyrusUtil as a requirement instead (no esp :) and already used by SexLab).

Feel free to PM me if you need any help/additions with/for the compatibility patch. I think there's quite a bit of thematical synergy between our mods :)

 

Also, if you're going to take that approach, you should probably merge the compatibility patch I made. Fixes an incompatibility between SD's bindings and DD's: http://www.loverslab.com/files/getdownload/61520-devious-devices-integration-now-with-quests-01082014/

 

 

Is this a revised update?  I have the original one installed, and as you can see from the above post, am still experiencing some sort of conflict?

Just a feeler here, to see if anyone else has experienced a CTD after obtaining the staff from Sanguine, basically upon teleportation back to the bar.  Happens every time I try.  Could be some incompatibility with Requiem maybe, but I don't see any related esp/esm conflicts in a TES5Edit filter.  I did have to build a patch to add several NPC's to SD faction, but other than that it seemed pretty clean.  Could be something deeper like a script issue I guess, but I'm not experienced enough to troubleshoot scripts.  I'll try and see if there are any vanilla scripts overwritten.  If anyone else using this successfully with Requiem/Hard Times, I would appreciate a heads up.  I think I can get around this with setstage and additem, but just thought I may be missing some important steps added by this mod.  We shall see.  Cheers

 

edit: I was able to get through it via:

"help sanguine" which told me the coc cell which I don't recall exactly (something like _sanguine_something_dream) coc to that location, which may not be necessary, but what I did.

Then:

"setstage da14 85" gave me the staff

and "setstage da14 200" ended the quest and transported me to the bar

 

I did not talk to him in the dream, since it caused me to CTD everytime he tried to send me back to the bar.

Regarding the DD and SD+ I'd rather keep thing simple.
I've personally no interest in DD stuff, and SD+ as already a lot on his plates. 

Like the no death system.

Maybe it would be better a separate patch for people who are using it.

When doing the Spriggan quest I noticed with the enhancements it can sometimes take days to find anyone who points you towards the college because everyone who becomes aware of you starts having sex.

 

Not a bad thing it could actually be reasoned that it was a self defence mechanism by the host to keep you from finding a way out of it but would probably need a more expanded way to get you to complete its life cycle maybe a dream/vision.

 

Am I the only one who prefered the old way of the spriggan where they actually mated with you to insert the root ?

 

I really hope the spriggan questline can be expanded because stuff like that is so rare in skyrim.

 

Maybe after a few "breedings" you end up comming to the attention of the spriggan matron who decides you can be evolved into a permanent host who goes around seducing and impregnating "victims"

 

My thoughts

While the Master/slave stuff is interesting it is pretty normal. we are talking Sanquine here who is doing this for his own reasons do you think simple master slave stuff is going to do it for him, he is after all a Daedric prince, Whether you are or not the Dragon Born the idea of debasing and debauchery of such a "saviour"  would you limit yourself to normal human entertainment.

 

Although I would quantify that my opinion is kind of left field due to  10 years in the UK D/s bdsm pony/doll training scene (retired), I doubt I would even know what normal is.

On a side note : Does anyone know if the SD compatibility patch from Submit works with SD+ ? I installed it but didn't really notice any major change, I still get the "not enslaved" notice everytime people kill me after I use Submit, since the collar and the armbinder from Submit seem to deter you from having the bonds and the slave cuffs from SD+

As I am working on better integration with Devious Devices, it is becoming painfully obvious that SD+ could use these devices directly.

 

So my obvious question is: what would be the downside to making Devious Devices assets a requirement for SD+? 

 

Been using the DD mods since it came out, I would welcome this move greatly. But like some people have said before me, some may not like this.

 

So to please everyone, I think implementing via a compatibility patch like SD - Frostfall could be the way to go. Only downside to that would be to use an extra esp slot.

 

Alas I'm not a coder or anything of the sort, but nevertheless just do what seems to be the best option to you.

I'd personally preffer DD not as requirement.

More requirements = more chances for me to fuck everything up.

ok something to help about to those that have random CTD's and/or infinite loading screens, apologies if this wasn't posted already:

 

first of all, I have installed Safety load and have it always active (meaning, it doesn't only work on loading, but it also forces the game to CTD if the the game decides to crash)

 

second, I use BOSS to sort the mods

 

and finally, third, I have atm some 150 mods active in my regular playthrough.

 

that said, fiddling with Wrye Bash, I found out that SD shows up with an orange tick box, wihch means that the masters are all present but not in the correct order. indeed it seems that BOSS puts ZaZanimationpack.esm loading after sexlab.esm . on the Wrye Bash files, it seems that the orange tick box is for "Some of the plugin's masters are in a different order than what is specified in the plugin. This will generally be handled automatically by the game, but it may result in changes in-game." meaning, it loads, it works, but from what I've seen, it seems that it causes issues. had random CTDs (thanks to safety loading), usually around whenever I opened any menu or exited/entered a new cell. changing the positions made it decrease the CTD ocurrences by a very wide margin.Some of the CTDs reported *might* be because of this, so keep an eye on the load order of sexlab and zaz animation pack.

 

TL;DR : check loading order of SexLab and Zaz animation pack, zaz should load before sexlab. having it otherwise might cause CTDs?

I had problems with sex animations while the Matron had the armor so that is disabled for now and replaced by masturbation.

I will revisit it once I am done with fixing Zaz animations in scenes.

 

I do have plans to make the spriggan quest more progressive and interesting (and watch the armor actually grow on you until your face is covered with the mask), but that will come later.

 

I agree about Sanguine... that's the kind of enhancements that will come later once these little issues are fixed.

I don't know about the Submit patch.

 

I need to track down those patches and see if I can bundle them with SD+ instead of having them scattered around.

I hope this is not the case as I already had to do a master order switch for Alicia and that meant a lot of things went missing due to the change in formIDs. It will be a pain to track down if that is what I have to do.

Question for people who could not talk to Sanguine inside Dreamworld.

 

Were you wearing Devious Devices at the time? 

 

The gag especially... it prevents you from talking to anyone, including uncle Sanguine.

 

I will have to add a check and unequip it while in Dreamworld so you can interact with him again.

How does that work? Is this some sort of Queststage?

Because in my current save, nude comments seem to be not working anymore. I don't know why. Even Sanguine ignores it, heh. If theres  setstage command, I could try, that'd be cool, otherwise, I'll remake that toon and hope it will be okay with a new game.

 

 

It's controlled with a global variable.

 

Look for:  help _sd_sanguine_blessing

 

Under 5, only one or 2 type of people assault you with naked comment (hate rape is still happening).

 

 

Ah, btw, I took a look: It was at 16. Yet noone reacted.

 

The only thing I can think of is that maybe this is somehow caused because I've updated the framework. I'll try a new game, and see what happens.

(I wasn't joking when I said I'm cursed, lol)

There's a lot of mods out there that have esms in 'non-BOSS' orders. Tes5edit has a 'sort masters' option - right click the esp/esm in the left window. I use that to fix those 'masters out of order' issues. It's part of my regular routine - install, BUM sorting,  Wrye inspection, tes5edit cleaning, tes5edit master sorting,  Wrye patching, SUM for ASIS, and finally FNIS.

 

The master sorting has never broken a mod (knock on wood).

It would have helped to know that Master sorting feature in TES5edit instead of doing it the hard and manual way :)

I give up. After deleting my saves, starting a new game, installing - no naked comments anymore, no haterape and sanguine still is not interessted. I have virtually no Idea why it stoped working. the only thing I installed between working and not working where some clothes (So, textures and meshes, nothing more) - I highly doubt that this is the cause.

Everything else seems to work btw.

Yes.
It was also broken on an older save, where I know that it had worked before. Maybe anything in my general settings got fucked up. I don't know. I'll tackle it from the botton now - deinstall everything, install again. This HAS to work

Ah, if the toon is really naked, there will be comments, of course - but still nothing happend.

 

Just keep talking to people if you have mods like dangerously nude it will work eventually it doesn't happen all the time though.

I'm afraid to enter a bar again, even with clothes the drunk people drop my character to ground, it don't happens so much, but when i enter to the inns i try to avoid them XD, have played like 10 levels from the beginning and it keeps happening

Yup, Sanguine was walking around drunk, not talking to me. I was both gagged and belted tho my armbinder was removed when I entered the place.

 

On another note, my character was raped by one of the slaves walking around the place when I first entered the dreamworld, not sure if its part of SD+ or Lover's Victim.

Honestly I've never experienced this part of the mod how to you get to Sanguines Dreamworld?

question on the "no death" mechanic. Do I have to successfully finish an an enslavement and then sleep or simply get enslaved and sleep. When I tested it thanks to populated Roads the bandits I was enslaved by got beaten to a pulp by a trader caravan and those guys didn't see me as a victim so I died. Just wondering.
