DeepBlueFrog Posted November 9, 2014 Author Posted November 9, 2014 I saw people talking about adding Slave Tats to this mod, so, I decided to see what that mod was currently like and if it would cause me any problems. As I suspected, it turned my game back into a desktop kamikaze. I remembered reading, months back, when I was first examining all of the various dependencies for the numerous mods I download here, that there was likely a conflict between Slave Tats (which I tried a few versions, ago) and one or more other mods/their dependencies that I considered more important. It isn't fresh in my mind, anymore, so I can only recall noting back then that there was an high likelihood of a compatibility problem between Slave Tats and the rest of the mods I intended on installing. I merely wish to point out that Slave Tats-- probably like most mods-- can't simply be added without any consequences, at all. If I add SlaveTats support, it will be only for people who already have it... It will not be a new requirement.

And then, weirdness ensued xD All attacks immediately result in a 'you are pinned to the ground' message, even though I barely lost any health (not using any mods that affect combat). After that the enslavement happens without any of the bindings or kneeling animations (Pretty sure that something is wrong with all non-sexlab animations, which do play correctly). Anyone any ideas what I did wrong/what I need to do to fix it? I got that too, no idea how to fix it. So, I've given SD+ after ages. Installed as per instructions and started with a clean save. Anyone any ideas what I did wrong/what I need to do to fix it? rephrase those issues "you are pinned to the ground" message i've never seen so unless somebody has that message and the game works for them it sounds like a mod conflict , the end result is something i've seen happen before from a different mod with out any known fix, the current save is screwed if its a clean save, check the pre-requisites section and check they're up-to-date, but don't use daymoyl 6 yet, its untested and may hold the issue Woops, well, there we go o.o Looks like I indeed have daymoyl 6 installed. That must be it. Im going to downgrade as soon as possible, that should probably fix the issue. Thank you very much for the help ^^ "You are pinned to the ground" was from the old enslavement procedure. It is unclear why it should trigger in this version of SD+ but I can't look into it because the version I am using now is not using that code anymore. I am not expecting DA 6.0 to have any impact on that (by the way, DA just reached 6.0.1 today).

Will next version incorporate SD+ Patches and SD+ Cages mods presently provided by 'Inte'? Or will we need either/both of those too? I have been looking at changes from SD Patches and I tried to import as many changes as possible, For changes I could not import into SD proper (or changes I didn't want to import because of a difference in vision of what SD should do), I tried to add better ways to make these changes possible without having to edit SD's own scripts. SD Patches is what the name say - a series of patches... meaning they edit SD's own scripts. Since these scripts have changed a lot in the next version, that means two things. 1- You will have to uninstall SD Patches and clean up scripts starting with _sd in your scripts folder BEFORE installing the next version of SD 2- Changes from SD patches will have to be re-written into a separate mod to prevent from having to rewrite them again with each upgrade. The reason Inte went for a patch instead of a separate add-on is that SD didn't allow much interaction from other mods. That will change with the next version. (I colored the text of this answer to attract everybody's attention to the fact that SD patches have to be cleaned up before upgrading to the next version). Thank you. That's quite clear now! :-)

First, I simply uninstalled Estrus Chaurus, since I didn't know what else I was supposed to do. That knocked my sex scene crashes/freezes down from 100% to about 50%. Then, I read here that the other thing involved was Actor Events. I simply uninstalled that, too, since I wasn't reinstalling Chaurus.-- I wanted to give SD+ its best shot at survival. That seemed to improve things even more; but, I still had a freeze. That's when I decided to create this Papyrus log. Interestingly enough, just before the sex scene inspiring this CTD was supposed to begin (just like the other time I received the same message), I received the following message for only the second time, ever, since I've played this game: "Nothing would please me more than to hear your screams." Incidentally, both times, that happened during the phase of enslavement during which the 'toon is saying, "I'll do anything if you'll let me go," instead of, "What must I do to please you?" in case that matters. Even I can see in the Papyrus log that there's stuff in there that seems to refer to Chaurus, even though that's supposed to be uninstalled. During uninstallation, when Chaurus said, "Give me a few minutes to clean up," I looked at the clock, fixed myself something to eat, picked out a new DVD to put in the Blu-Ray player, then checked the clock, again; five RL minutes had transpired. I wasn't given a specific number of minutes to wait, or told that I'd be given a notice that the cleanup had been completed; so, I saved, exited, and proceeded with the uninstall. If I screwed up somewhere in there, that's what I did, and I need instructions on how to fix it. There were infertile eggs in the world created by the mod which should have vanished when the mod was uninstalled... perhaps they never did. While I'm waiting for a reply, I suppose I'll try reinstalling Actor Events and Chaurus to see if that helps... In the meantime... I reinstalled those mods to see what would happen. The very first time anything happened, the "mistress" initiated a sex scene. And, instead of the usual message that displays in the upper left hand corner of the screen, I, again, received that message about nothing pleasing her more than hearing my 'toon scream. Then, of course, I CTD-ed, again. I thought that I might have stumbled upon the secret of the "I like to hear you scream" quote, so I turned on the Papyrus, again, expecting it to pop right up when I restarted the game. But, as you can see, it didn't. Nevertheless, as long as the log is there, I thought that someone might be able to point out what else might be causing trouble. I seemed to go a relatively long time before CTD-ing... at least, by my usual standard inside Mistwatch. It seems that that "I like to hear you scream" event is a real game killer for me; the rest of the time, it's hit-or-miss whether or not I CTD or freeze. ok estrus mod is now back in the log, worst case of estrus spam i ever saw if you planned to reinstall the mod and not permanently remove it, then you should have followed estrus insatructions to re-install as follows: disable the mod from skyrim's mod manager, not an mcm, and not a nexus mod manager then load saved game and resave game then exit again and enable the mod from skyrim again now you might need to reload from the first log and try re-installing it proper, you have missing file issues for both mods here, estrus and actor events, along with the same zad issues as stated above ..you're out of mistwatch now, but with those issues in your save, its a timebomb waiting to explode

Even if I never find out about that, I'm still learning quite a bit from all of these problems and having you explain the Papyrus log to me. skooma is a rumor i've heard about, you'll need the skooma add-on for that from yet another modder, but be warnd its very beta so could have unknown bugs to be about as unstable as the bugs you're working on already

Other textures are shown properly.This was tested with a new game today, with reinstalled ZAP items and textures.Why I am mentioning it here is that Prison Overhaul displayed cuff textures properly. I tested that right after I noticed that textures are missing in SD+.What I am wondering is why only 2 peoples have complained about this problem? These textures are loaded last in my MO Mods view. Only FNIS Overwrite is loaded after it.

That's why I'm not mentioning any issues with it. Strange. I don't honestly see how they would even clash, unless you did not install bane_master's DD patches for it? So far patch has been available from support page, soon after each new release. That should not have any effect to this problem with textures in SD+, though.

Arluanna Posted November 11, 2014 Posted November 11, 2014 I'm having an issue (probably because I don't know anything about installing mods besides dropping it into NMM and running BOSS) with getting enslaved; it'll say Enslaved! as if the quest is activated, and my character will (sometimes) be stripped and given a collar and other items, but it never registers my owner as an owner for more than a few seconds. I look away and look back and they're back to being a bandit or NPC that I punched to try to get the mod to work. They also interact with me normally (well, the bandits aren't always aggressive, but that's not a huge issue), as if I didn't get enslaved by them. The Enslaved! quest also doesn't register on the quest list. Again, probably just because I download and install mods willy nilly, but I figured if anyone knew how to fix it, someone here would. Thanks for your time and this wonderful, happymaking mod! Are you using SPERG by any chance? or any kind of invisible, hand-combat weapon? Anything that registers as being equipped as a weapon by the played breaks enslavement in this version of SD, so what happens is that you are enslaved, the weapon is removed from your inventory, the weapon mod adds it again automatically and breaks enslavement. I'll try uninstalling SPERG, and check for any other things like that.

No result, the same problem remains where every hit results in a "you are pinned to the ground message followed by immediate enslavement. (Perhaps my toon likes being enslaved far too much to bother with the fight? XD) In a final attempt I installed the SD patches mod, hoping that it would perhaps replace whatever was causing this, no effect. Only FNIS Overwrite is loaded after it. your issue mentions mo handling your textures, would recommend you try this without mo and sort it with loot alone, but take a look at the sorted list it generates and be sure zaz is loaded before devious devices and those are both loaded before sd+ @ Morferous: For me, Prison Overhaul seemed to become incompatible with other mods in the same vein as DD and SD+ quite a while ago, so, I just gave up on trying to use it with them. Anyone any ideas what I did wrong/what I need to do to fix it? rephrase those issues "you are pinned to the ground" message i've never seen so unless somebody has that message and the game works for them it sounds like a mod conflict , the end result is something i've seen happen before from a different mod with out any known fix, the current save is screwed if its a clean save, check the pre-requisites section and check they're up-to-date, but don't use daymoyl 6 yet, its untested and may hold the issue Woops, well, there we go o.o Looks like I indeed have daymoyl 6 installed. That must be it. Im going to downgrade as soon as possible, that should probably fix the issue. It is unclear why it should trigger in this version of SD+ but I can't look into it because the version I am using now is not using that code anymore. I am not expecting DA 6.0 to have any impact on that (by the way, DA just reached 6.0.1 today). So I downgraded to DA 5.0.2 and tried again with a new game. No result, the same problem remains where every hit results in a "you are pinned to the ground message followed by immediate enslavement. (Perhaps my toon likes being enslaved far too much to bother with the fight? XD) In a final attempt I installed the SD patches mod, hoping that it would perhaps replace whatever was causing this, no effect. The priority (MO) or installation order (NMM, manual) determines what textures are loaded. ZAP is ESM file, so loading it before all ESP files is required. That is also the case here: ZAP is loading before both SD+ and Slavegirls, textures being loaded after all of them and overwriting all files. That is why this does not make any sense. The load order is solid, all mods are up to date and re-installed, my HD is intact and the amount of memory is adequate. shadow866 Posted November 13, 2014 Posted November 13, 2014 I'm having an issue (probably because I don't know anything about installing mods besides dropping it into NMM and running BOSS) with getting enslaved; it'll say Enslaved! as if the quest is activated, and my character will (sometimes) be stripped and given a collar and other items, but it never registers my owner as an owner for more than a few seconds. I look away and look back and they're back to being a bandit or NPC that I punched to try to get the mod to work. They also interact with me normally (well, the bandits aren't always aggressive, but that's not a huge issue), as if I didn't get enslaved by them. The Enslaved! quest also doesn't register on the quest list. Again, probably just because I download and install mods willy nilly, but I figured if anyone knew how to fix it, someone here would. Thanks for your time and this wonderful, happymaking mod! Are you using SPERG by any chance? or any kind of invisible, hand-combat weapon? Anything that registers as being equipped as a weapon by the played breaks enslavement in this version of SD, so what happens is that you are enslaved, the weapon is removed from your inventory, the weapon mod adds it again automatically and breaks enslavement. I'll try uninstalling SPERG, and check for any other things like that. No need to uninstall SPERG. Just set unarmed mode to manual in the MCmenu. And you should have 2 fists weapons in your inventory that does not get removed or get requipped. I have been using SPERG for a long time without any issues.

Even I would not take anything seriously, if it would be coming from my current "face." i suggested you use loot to sort them because currently you're using mo to sort them and i'm suggesting that mo is possibly the issue here if its trying to load textures to overwrite 1 or other, could say the textures need to be placed in the data folder in the same order as prerequisites so zaz should go in fist then anything that requires it should be installed later so if mo is trying to add zaz textures after a mod that requires them than that's a mo issue

That's an issue with Devious Devices in the current version of SD. I am working on a fix for the next version. Until then, you will have to remove these 'ghost' items by using a barrel or the console (the proper procedure has been described in details before on this forum). Search this thread for 'barrel' for example. I have a question, which factions can you join by being submissive / helping them There is no list of faction you can join. When you accept to join your master, you end up sharing the same factions. This can lead to issues in the game and it is another area I am trying to improve.
