Sanguine Debauchery (SD+) (January 2025)

Well, i went back to SD 2.03, just to get rid of the need for DD. DD is still installed, just in case i want some nice collars and cuffs. Of course i started a new game and then i was surprised. You remember that i complained about aggressive animations being stuck in stage 1? I assumed that its a bug from Estrus+, the only thing which i didn't know was how i could have a bug from Estrus+ even without a installed Estrus+ mod. Well, the bug is gone. After installing SD 2.03 the bug just disappeared.

 

I think that nobody else had this bug, so i guess it has to be my skyrim, this mixture from several mods plus SD 2.04 and above "produces" this bug on my computer. I think its impossible to know which combination of mods makes my skyrim unique, so i will just try every new version of SD and check if the bug appears again.

 

I am sure you have done it, but if not, cleaning your .ess file (Saved Game) is nearly and every few play sessions necessity  Most people use Savetool, and it is very good, but to get to the root of some problems you may have to use "PDTWrapper" Papyrus Scrip scalpel ("Well worth learning how to use") (Its interface can be a little daunting)

It is not as hard to use as you would think for standard fixes, and is way more powerful than "savegamecleaner"

 

Study the makers info on how to use it well.

 

  It was the only way I could actually fix a few repeditive problems I had in my .ess. that were constantly showing up in the Save Log.

 

   With it I could actually completely remove SD, and then re-install it to the same save. I had to test that for the fun of it, and yes it did fine.

 

 

As i said, i started a new game, which means that i deleted all old savegames and all logs. I'm sure that a deleted savegame contains absolutely nothing anymore ;)

I really love this mod, but I have a question...

 

Is there any way to increase the distance you have to be away from your owner, or make it a bit more smart?

 

For example, Haelga enslaves me, and I trigger the escape script when she is out in Riften and I enter the Bunkhouse...

 

Could it be possible that for the character to be considered as escaping, to have to leave the city and then move away x amount ? (Also consider every house/zone inside Riften as part of the city/safe zone, so you are not considered as escaping just for entering a building?)

 

 

Of course, this may be impossible, or too difficult or break too many things on teh scripts, hence why I'm asking IF possible.

Location based detection is tricky because of those teleport issues.

 

I am moving toward a time based detection instead.

 

As part of your privileges for being a good slave, you will receive increasing amount of time away from your master before triggering an escaped response.

 

That should give options from a small time buffer to re-enter a building if your master didn't follow you to a longer period of autonomy to run errands or quests if you have been particularly good.

 

Of course, that time buffer will decrease if you are bad.

 

I am also thinking about a more severe consequence to escaping to add more urgency to getting rid of your bindings or making your collar inert. I haven't decided what will be the penalty yet.

I'd also like a warning before the escape triggers.

"You've been away from your master's side for X minutes. He may be getting suspicious!" And then give me another 30 seconds or something to get back before the game thinks I've been trying to escape (when really I just got sidetracked collecting mushrooms or something).

The other tricky thing would be, eventually, when Owner can also be a follower, that escapes no longer trigger on combat... cause that would be... really bad, earning punishments a lot... or WORSE... having a fight last so long that you are considered escaped, while you were just aiding your Owner!

What is SL Aroused used for?

 

Is it possible for SD+ to not use SLA? SLA is no longer supported, and when SL 1.50 came out, I recall the mod author commenting that the mod still worked, but with some issues.

 

It seems problematic that SL Aroused continues to be a dependency in many popular mods despite no longer being supported. I imagine this will eventually become a problem when a big SL update breaks SL Aroused entirely. Then what would SD+ and DD Integration do?

Not sure if you noticed that the texture folder of zaz animation pack has been re-organized in version 6, so the texture paths in the meshes of some items, such as Sanguine Collar, needs update. I will manage to install the old texture pack before you fix that. LOL

I think SD+ is bugged out for me. When my character gets enslaved, the SD+ MCM Status menu doesn't have enslaved checked off.

 

Is there a way to reset SD+?

Sanguine slave items are meant to have that color.

They are also slightly transparent.

What is SL Aroused used for?

SL Aroused is there to control arousal of Sanguine and your master. I am not making full use of it yet, but that is improving slowly.

 

It would be a shame to let SL Aroused become incompatible. Hopefully someone will pick it up or integrate it in future version of SL. An arousal system is an important extension of a sex framework.

A time buffer would also help with fights. It would be easy to put it on hold or extend it during combat.

I see that you don't want to maintain a separate copy for a Legendary edition.  Do you know if the main file would still recognize all four add-ons merged or does it check for the specific files? Assuming they'll be stable for a bit.

My apologies I Had read that it was not being worked on, and I had no Idea it was ashals baby..

 

My understanding was that Redneck2x did it... ;)

Hm, I finally gave in and downloaded this mod, but unfortunately it seems to make my game crash for a reason or another.

 

First time, my character was enslaved, had to dance for their master and after the dance ended and a sex animation was about to start, the game froze and an error message popped up on the desktop, though with the game frozen fullscreen, I couldn't see what the error message said, as it disappeared once I managed to shut down Skyrim.

 

The second time happened when I was trying to use Defeat to surrender to an enemy. It went as supposed, until a sex animation was supposed to start at which point the game freezes with the same error message popping up. Again; just got a glance of it, as it's behind the frozen game, but seemed like the same error message.

 

Wondering if it's Defeat causing the crashes; despite setting it up to be compatible with SD+, or something else failing to start the animations and killing the whole game in the process.

 

EDIT.
Testing it out further, the error message is now gone, but the game still crashes... not regularly though. It seems almost as if a specific animation would cause it, considering majority of the animations work and Defeat itself seems to be working fine on it's own, but every now and then when initiating a sex animation, the game crashes. Considering the game worked fine for ages, before installing SD+ and it's requirements like Devious Devices, I would be willing to say that's what's causing this. Why, I am not sure.

Hi, not sure if this has been addressed before...

After leaving the dream world for the first time, my character is released from the bindings, however removing/throwing away the gag I remain still gagged.

Under active effects its says : Silenced... but when hovering the mouse over effects on the right side it says: Missing File.

CTD at SL animation start is something that I have had also, but, by no means only in relation to SD. Indoors or outdoors, consensual or forced, bound or not, enslaved or not. They aren't all that common for me and I lack the know-how to figure out what's causing it (and/or am not annoyed enough by it to do a systematic add-one-mod-at-a-time test).

"phantom bindings" has come up before here on the SD+forum (and perhaps elsewhere, I don't follow the DD threads at all consistently for instance) and isn't limited to gags. Apparently there are still a few kinks in the integration of DD and SD and afaik it is on the to-do list.

yes I knew that, I chat with Ashal in steam a lot, I have known him sense the old original wolf lore, he is a very good modding friend of mine. I would never say anything bad about him, and he knows that, He saved LoverPK when the old wolf lore shut down, if he had not started this Web sight, My mod's an most everyone else' Adult mods would have been history.

 

 Ashal is a good friend of mine, and has always helped me when I needed it.

 

Any way I have had chats with ashal, and others, and I guess there are some minor, not major problems with Sexlab Aroused which is not Ashals Baby, but it is a needed part of Sexlab. Or a mod thatis used by sexlab.

 

  The thing is It is a back bone mod for most of the Mods here, and if it may have some Problems, and I personally can not say for sure. It would be very nice if someone stepped in and looked at it that had the Moxy to fix it (If it does have problems), with out causing conflicts with existing mods.

i believe on top of what skyrimill mentioned above, its also used for lust (sanguine'se lust) after you've been to dreamworld

if you've already checked requirements that i'd suggest first, have you also registered zaz animations thru mcm

if zaz already says its registered and all your files are up-to-date,for zaz and devious assets and devices, then the next idea is to try re-installing sexlab thru the mcm, follow the instructions, then save quit, reload, then register zaz and any others (ec+ if you have it)

then save it again and reload from here and test it for a recurring issue or bugs fixed

next if still issues post load order and papyrus log of the crash

I had a good approximation of were the trap door was located. I did find both the door and the key, the funny thing is, I started in the wrong city! It was a big welcome laugh for me, really it was alot of fun. It was an interesting quest (hint) to say the least. Thanks for the fun filled gameplay skyrimll!
