I like how in the "KNOWN ISSUES", the biggest bug is that uninstallation is completely broken. snip...

The OP is quite clear in the mod description that there are issues and it should not be used on a main save. Many mods on this site are WIP and carry similar warnings.

On a constructive note if you are going to use WIP mods then you need to keep staged copies of Skyrim and saved games. I use the following, others may have their own methods:

Skyrim Vanilla - Fresh download no mods and unused. Keep as backup

Skyrim Minimal Mods - Essential mods only (SKSE, SKYUI, Racemenu and some updated meshes). Saved games Helgen start

Skyrim Safe Mods - as above and including all mods you know are safe (i.e. ones you've played Skyrim to the end without any real problems). Saved games Whiterun at start of Way of the Voice.

Skyrim Stable Mods - as above including mods which seem on the whole to be stable for a reasonable length of time. Saved games  Whiterun at start of Way of the Voice.

This is the point where I install difficult and script heavy mods you will soon know the point if you start needing a loader saved game to load your current game to stop CTD's (i.e. use Alternate Start to create a save which you load first and is stable before loading your main game)

TBH if you're not using this type of methodology you really should keep away from WIP mods

Any chance we can get a spoiler for the hate rape conditions?

from http://www.loverslab.com/topic/24042-sd-sanguine-debauchery-enhanced-2014-03-16/page-32?do=findComment&comment=632239

- NPCs will hate rape you in these situations:

:: randomly if their relationship rank is <0 (not friendly)

:: if you are in windhelm, and you are not nord or breton, and you are not friendly with the Stormcloaks

:: if you are in Solitude, and you are not imperial or high elf, and you are not friendly with the Legion

:: if you belong to one faction in civil war and meet someone from the opposite faction

:: Other surprise situations...

I like how in the "KNOWN ISSUES", the biggest bug is that uninstallation is completely broken. Wish I had read that before I even thought of installing this. Now that game is forever screwed. I can get over that part, but I'm surprised this mod even exists when there is no possible way to uninstall it. The very first thing you should say in the disclaimer is, "THERE IS NO WAY TO UNINSTALL THIS MOD, PERIOD".

I'm guessing the reason you wouldn't say that is because you'd get exactly zero downloads. I'm not going to lie... I'm a little upset I'm losing this game because I had some fun with the character, but dude... fixing the uninstall procedure should be all you are working on. I can't believe this is even a release with such a catastrophic bug. I mean, seriously. If this were a company, this would have not even got past the first round of sanity testing by QA. They would have been like, "what the hell where you thinking?"

I'm probably coming off rude, but I'm upset. I just want to uninstall it, not start my game over. Sorry, man. If there's some work around for this, please let me know. Sorry if I"m coming off rude, I'm just quite pissed off at the moment.

As someone already pointed it out to you its not recommended you install this on a serious save. Number two. Why did you put ANY SCRIPTED MOD on YOUR ONLY save? Why didn't you make a save you could try this out on. Why your only one?

Sorry hon, this is all on you. I have at least 100 different saves (A bit too many but that's me), and you can of course, simply have 10 or even 5. Or when you are deciding to try a new scripted mod on an already running game, make a separate save simply to try mods on. And thus keep your first one intact. Such is life honey. Its not that serious and its best to be polite :)

-C

Thanks for the answer while I was away.

I could also add that if this were a company, I would get paid working on the mod, which I am not :)

It is unfortunate that you lost your main game. I have been there - I know it hurts.

I thought it was enough to have that issue listed first at the top of Known Issues. Maybe I should move that to the top of the page or in bug red bold letters.

And regarding the number of downloads... I couldn't care less about how many times the mod is downloaded.

I am not doing this for popularity.

I am doing this to learn and share what I have done. And maybe even get some fun the middle ofthe frustrating experience of modding with Skyrim.

Greetings!

I have a question, is there a way to stop the collar from covering the character with spatters of blood?

Also, I rather like the way the random rapes are handled now, I like that she's knocked down first and it seems almost as if she's dragged into a dark corner, more immersive that way for me. Thanks!

-C

Take it of,its not locked

lol my point was is that I -want- to wear it, but without the spatters of blood occurring. And I wanted to know if there was a way to prevent them. :)

-C

There is no option for that right now. The blood effect is baked in the enchantment of the collar.

Question: Is there any way to be freed or join the Falmer or is it just run away?

No... Falmers want to keep you forever at this point.

It's up to you to decide when you have enough and how you will escape.

Is this male PC compatible? If so Is SOS useable as a body replacer.

It is compatible with SOS. The mod should keep your Schlong in place.

I never tested with SOS as a body replacer though, so I can't promise it will work that way.

Crash after logo + Nexus manager usually means that you have one of the optional add-ons enabled without having the original mod installed.

Check out the Dawnguard, Dragonborn and Frostfall add-ons for SD and make sure you have the corresponding mods.

If not, disable the add-on.

Hey folks, I have noticed a lot of issues come up regarding scripted mods appearing to not work. This may be due to lag in the script process. In the last couple o f days I came across a very good solution in  a separate part of the Lover's lab forum. It works wonders for me until I have had the game running too long.

Here is the link to the thread http://www.loverslab.com/topic/15454-solutions-to-slow-running-scripts-in-skyrim/

Enjoy.

On the subject of broken uninstall, and upcoming major revamp of the enslavement code. Do you anticipate that we will be able to upgrade cleanly from the current version to your next? Or is there too much to clean up so we will have to start a new game to enjoy the new goodness. Also I am early in my newest game, I have installed but not activated SD+ yet (haven't reached the night to remember quest). In this state is the mod safe to remove? It may be worth the wait now to pull SD+ from the game in order to be ready for the new version in a couple of months.

This is difficult to predict for sure, but I will try to make the update safe for an upgrade.

I have a better idea of what really messes up upgrades now, so I can avoid that kind of situation.

It will be mostly new scripts and minimal changes to the existing scripts.

For me, the Thing about his mod is - the loss of control. the game, (the master) is Controlling me. i like that.

(anyways i still have some Trouble with stabatility and Scenes, but i Count on you)

one Suggestion i want to make is:

it is funny to stay free (with cuffs) during night.

i would prefer: master goes to bed and i get chained, or into the cage until day. (waiting-mode enabled)

additional punishment would be great, like plugs, dildos active over night.

and with consequences after this hard night.

Well... it had to happen eventually.

That NPC in Sanguine's Dreamworld who is doomed to be fucked by tentacles forever became pregnant.

(Just Beeing Female doing its job).

why there is no one in sanguine's dream world except sanguine and two slaves?

Even sanguine never touch my character

Sanguine should initiate sex randomly when you talk to him.

The human NPCs can initiate Coveted or Hate rape sex with you occasionally.

The two dremora slaves are silent.

There is more planned for that area once I am done rebuilding the master/slave mechanics.

Not getting transported to dream world on rest after enslavement is over. Does this only kick in if you escape as opposed to on death of your former master? Is there a console command to see the quest stage?

Posted

Anyone else experienced that Sanguine would summon your character while preforming a death move on a NPC?

This has happened a couple of times for me now.

Not a big deal when fighting the odd bandit or some such but pretty annoying when you're three levels deep into a dungeon crawl and about to cut the head off the ubah evil necromancer.

I dont like it to be teleported to a dreamworld. Would be nice to have this feature optional. I think it is also good for more compatibility with other mods. I got for example a big blur effect in the dreamworld because i cant go to sleep.

Can you please make it seperate: gameplay changes(which are great!) and quests

cheers & keep the good work!

If you're in an area with a cage, you do get told to go inside and locked there.

Thanks to those who took trouble to answer my queries on OBIS, Populated mods, etc

I don't seem to be too plagued by the 'no enslavement' problems, and 1.08a still surprises me with what does pop up every now and again, however  glitchy at times, compared to what some people seem to experience.  However, I was wondering if maybe I am just getting lucky because I never uninstalled, via NMM, the original Sanguine mod? - which, FWIW, I could never get to initiate properly at all.  If I understand it, SD+ replaces the .esp file, and can be run on its own, but will I still have stuff hanging over, as scripts inserted somewhere by the original?

As you can see, I'm really pretty clueless as to exactly how Skyrim works, but I've read almost all the thread here, and those for other mods, and been picking up bits and pieces as I go along.  However, despite that, I'm still wondering if what I have here is more, or less, likely to screw up my game, and related saves, than not.

Any definitive help would be welcome.

Upgrading just about any more without starting a new game is a gamble and increases the chances of something going wrong and messing up your game.

As I see it, there are two ways to play Skyrim: Tinkering mode and Playing mode.

- Tinkering mode: You try multiple mods to find a good mix of features. You install and uninstall things. Maybe just keep upgrading as you versions come up. Start new games often to clear your save game and experiment with different gameplay and features.

- Playing mode: Your mix of mods is locked down. You do not upgrade anything while playing (with rare exceptions of script free mods).

This means, if you are deep in a 'play' game and you find out there is something screwed with how two mods interact or you really want to upgrading one of your existing mods, you run the risk of having to start over.

If you want to add a new mod to a 'play' game, you need to clearly mark a saved game before you install that mod so you can revert back to it if it turns out that mods introduces issues. That means you will have to accept losing hours of play time (they are not really lost since you hopefully enjoyed them in the first place).

Again, thanks for taking the time to provide the feedback.

Like a few others here, I've probably been competing vigorously, if somewhat inadvertantly, to be Thane of Tinkerdom

Being relatively new to Skyrim, I hadn't quite realised the potential implications of upgrading and so on, and have been happily dropping out mods, and bunging in upgrades and new ones, with gay abandon, to the extent that I think my saved games are probably now even more screwed than my PC ever has been.  :shy:   Especially having overindulged in the abundance of goodies that were in the LL stocking over Xmas.

I've been biding my time recently, waiting for the major updates that seem to be pending on a few of my favourite things, and I think that meantime I'll just play out the one main quest in DD while things seem reasonably stable - as, of course, intermitently interrupted by some entertainment from SD+ and Submit, and once I've done that 'reinstall' the lot

On that score, while it's at least remotely on topic here, people even talk about 'reinstallation' as if it's something they do when they have half an hour to spare.  Anyone able to tell me what the basics are?  Is it just done from the original disk, reinitiated on Steam to latest version as necessary, and then using NMM to chuck everything back in again? - I have all my mods downloaded to disk and manually installed each one by one.  My worry is that I spent a couple of days setting it up at first - OK, it was all brand new to me - but I don't remember it as being that simple.

Or do they mean just delete all saved games to date, remove every mod using NMM and the like, putting back in the mods you want, and then starting again with a new game

I feel like I'm missing a trick somewhere, and my next quest is to find it before I really mess everything up.  Anyone able to help me?   Even if it's just to tell me which forum I should really ask this on  :D

When I (speaking for myself) say reinstall, I mean setting up a clean installation - pure skyrim and nothing else. Early on in my tinkering I'd dropped and removed so much in my Data directory that it was hopelessly unorganized. The only way to fix it was to completely delete my skyrim install (deleting the folder skyrim in the steam directory 'common') and redownloading the game and everything else I want (hi res packs, creation kit) from steam. So I didn't have to ever do that again, once all downloading was complete I zipped up a copy of the skyrim directory and put in a safe place.

Now, the reason so many imply that it's a trivial task to 'reinstall' is because they've done the above once, and they are using Mod Organizer. MO does two very important things that NMM doesn't - it allows you to rearrange mod installation order by dragging and dropping and it uses a very stable technique to allow skyrim to see a mod and its files without putting anything in data. Those two things take away the two biggest pains about modding - making sure that mods get installed in the right order so the file overrides are correct, and when you uninstall a mod there is absolutely zero chance of leaving a stray file behind when you uninstall a mod.

> skyrimll

Just a quick, if somewhat belated, 'Thanks' for that advice.

I have now finished moving from NMM to MO.  I took the opportunity to add some enhancements to the base set up - unofficial patches, hires textures, other eyecandy mods, iHUD, ImmersiveFP etc - and the base vanilla experience looks so much better, but above all, that whole thing is much cleaner and, allowing for the BOSS quirks mentioned below, it generally seems to be more stable.  It's certainly much easier to amend, and be sure about what you have done

MO's multiple profiles are great, but take a bit of getting used to, especially the need to rerun FNIS on changing from one to another - in fact, I just rerun FNIS each time before I start now, as it helps to control the blood pressure by avoiding self induced irritating T poses. :shy:     Also, BOSS seems to give some really odd load order 'answers' within MO, especially with the 'unofficial' patches and Sexlab esps, so if anyone else is tempted to make the switch, I'd recommend having a copy of whatever load order you were using successfully before, so as to be able to refer back to it, and be able to set up its priorities, if that was working OK.  More a BOSS issue than MO, I suppose.  And if MO crashes totally, as I has once for me, it is possible to recover, although as that was before I set up multiple profiles, I'm not certain how easy it would be to get those all sorted out again

It took much longer to do the changeover than I had ever imagined, albeit that part of that was due to my doing a lot of research into other useful or interesting mods.  It also required a total restart - although I'm sure there are probably ways of avoiding that, but they're beyond my capabilities.  Overall, though, it looks like it has been well worth the effort.

So thanks again.  Really appreciated the help offered

Well, thanks to everyone who responded. I should have followed that internet addage of, "don't post while angry", but at the moment I was enraged and not thinking clearly. But to clear a few things up...

It actually isn't my 'main' save. It is a side character I've been playing for funsies. She's been through a lot, lol. She's only level 10, but I was getting attached to her. I do have earlier saves, but as I'm low on space on my SSD, I don't keep more than ten total save files at any time, and I have two other player characters with no WIP or risky mods installed, because those characters are for my 'serious' game. I found a save for the girl that was pre-SD+ install, so I have been able to recover a game without the mod, but it is a really old save and missing a lot of what I accomplished. But c'est la vie.

Anyway, this mod is fun and I did enjoy it. But I understand if this were a company you would certainly be getting paid for working on it. But as someone who worked as a QA Engineer for years, writing test plans and test cases for software, I would recommend you take care of the biggest bug which is the inability to uninstall it correctly first. If this version were to be passed on to QA, during sanity testing they would say the release is too flawed to merit further testing because a core element (the ability to uninstall) is broken, and before further features or developments could be integrated, that one fix would need to be taken care of. I'm recommending you take care of this bug before continuing to build on a possibly risky foundation that may prevent this bug from ever being fixed later without serious detriment to your codebase.

Just my two cents. Again, I enjoyed this mod and I wish you the best working on it in the future. Good luck.

Glad you recovered some of your earlier save.

I am also working in Software and I understand what you mean.

My point of view is slightly different though.

I *am* working on the source of the most game breaking issues - the enslavement and master/slave mechanics. This is what is causing issues with bindings, unresponsive masters, following issues, escape and release issues.

To me, the broken uninstall procedure is *not* game breaking and can wait a while.

In my test, I was able to repeatedly uninstall the mod to some extend.

There are issues of course, but they are manageable:

- if you end up in a bleedout state, you can wait for a few hours in game and you will get your controls back.

- if you end up in dreamworld, you can still use the chain or 'coc' in the console to get back to Tamriel

- if you end up immortal, there is a full procedure to fix that in the old SD page

The main issue is if you want to uninstall SD+ in order to re-activate it in the same game.

That part is clearly broken.

But if you want to uninstall SD+ and do a clean save without any residual SD+ file, it is possible to do so already.

That said, I should set some time aside and write this kind of answer in a real FAQ,

I have a request when and if you have time.  Concerning the hate rapes, can you add the "train effect" to that?  It would be reasonable for several "gentlemen" to jump in; Mob Mentality.

So i'm wondering, one of the things i was hoping someone would do (tried to learn myself but the CK just really doesn't seem to like me) was make a mod sort of like the Veronica mod from Fallout 3 that basically could make her your owner and stay a companion. It was fantastic, i'd be walking around looting shit and suddenly we'd stop and she would say "eat my pussy", or i remember she fast traveled me back to the starter town and had i think Sunny was her name frakin pee on me... it was fantastic

So when i saw that you had plans for the master to be enabled as a full on companion i thought "oh wow, this is just what i've been waiting for"

My actual questions being thus

1. Do you have any time frame? I am actually sort of very anxious to try this now hehe

2. Do you have any plans for neat things like that? It would be rather boring to just walk around with my mistress all day and she did nothing.

3. Like i've said CK doesn't seem to like me much, would offering any assistance help? I have a little CK practice, not a lot. I'm a decent writer though having done some erotic fiction well received on the boards i go to, i could write some Master/Mistress dialogue maybe hehe
