DeepBlueFrog Posted March 23, 2014 Author Posted March 23, 2014 So i'm wondering, one of the things i was hoping someone would do (tried to learn myself but the CK just really doesn't seem to like me) was make a mod sort of like the Veronica mod from Fallout 3 that basically could make her your owner and stay a companion. It was fantastic, i'd be walking around looting shit and suddenly we'd stop and she would say "eat my pussy", or i remember she fast traveled me back to the starter town and had i think Sunny was her name frakin pee on me... it was fantastic So when i saw that you had plans for the master to be enabled as a full on companion i thought "oh wow, this is just what i've been waiting for" My actual questions being thus 1. Do you have any time frame? I am actually sort of very anxious to try this now hehe 2. Do you have any plans for neat things like that? It would be rather boring to just walk around with my mistress all day and she did nothing. 3. Like i've said CK doesn't seem to like me much, would offering any assistance help? I have a little CK practice, not a lot. I'm a decent writer though having done some erotic fiction well received on the boards i go to, i could write some Master/Mistress dialogue maybe hehe Time frame is the next couple of months most likely. Ideas are most welcome. Feel free to send me suggestions by PM if you don't want to spoil the surprise on the forum. My current plan is to set up the groundwork for interactions with a master/mistress following you. I would like to add more unique interactions if they fall within the realm of what I can do in CK. I can answer questions about CK (and i already have ) but remember: the more time I spend answering questions, the less time I have working on the mod.

Since ideas are welcome, I'm inclined to admit I'm working on a mod right now (although I'm just seeking guidance from the community so far) that i think may make SD+ more interesting in terms of mode of capture; I'm not sure that I'll have it ready by the next release date, but I would like to give you my blessing if you want to use it in any releases thereafter, assuming it's ready. DeepBlueFrog Posted March 23, 2014 Author Posted March 23, 2014 So... good news / bad news thing. I spent time tonight on the first phase of the rewrite, with a test of Death Alternative integration. The bad news is that Death Alternative is likely to become a requirement if you want to get the full range of options with SD+. The good news is that Death Alternative will allow me to extend the range of options for SD+. Let me explain. I just created a simple 'scenario' for DA with a SexLab rape option. It still needs tuning but it is working - when my PC is in bleedout stage, he/she can get raped by his/her aggressor. Now I need to add gender restrictions and other things but it is a good start. That means I will probably be able to replace all bleedout events in SD+ as scenarios for DA: human rape, beast rape, human enslavement, falmer enslavement, spriggan enslavement and even visits to dreamworld.It opens the door to future options such as giants enslavement or location based enslavement (mine, inn, soldier camp,.. ). That also means that DA will let you select exactly which events you want, and in which priority... so if you don't want beast rape or dreamworld, you will be able to turn them off. And DA comes with its own scenarios, bleedout control and management of stolen items. I am very impressed so far! For those who do not want to use DA, I am hoping to preserve the submit key for voluntary enslavement as the minimum enslavement option.

That would simplify a lot of things for you Well the thing is, HID wasn't meant as a death alternative in the first place, but instead as a few situations that you could get yourself into just for not being careful. Kinda like the old RPGs where you had to use your head before deciding "yeah, I'll just eat that unknown fruit I never saw before". But I guess having a few DA triggers wouldn't hurt it. I'll definitely think about it when I come back to work on it... if only I had the time, I'd start it again right now, even with that old PC of mine

For example, you could imagine a table with a bottle that says 'drink me'. The bottle would contain a very powerful poison, which would kill the player instantly. DA could pick that up, run through conditions for scenarios it is aware of, and find a scenario with high priority that would detect death was triggered by a certain bottle and make the player wake up on the other side of a looking glass. Similarly, you could detect bleedout coming from a vampire and create a fade to black and wake up in a crypt somewhere. All you need is 'trigger -> death -> conditions for your quest' or 'trigger -> bleedout -> condition for your quest'.

This is actually helping me learn certain things, albeit nothing specific in terms of scripting or CK work, but nonetheless helpful. In fact it does answer a specific question I had. Looks like I'll use DA when I've learned enough to make my big mod.

We have the right assets to get started... a sabre tooth Cheshire cat... a Cicero mad hatter.. a dragon Jabberwocky... So many mod ideas... so little time.

That's what I am doing right now. I disabled SD+ old triggers for rape and enslavement on bleedout and I am using DA instead. There is still a lot of work to be done, but I am working on the assumption of a seamless upgrade if possible.

This has happened a couple of times for me now. Not a big deal when fighting the odd bandit or some such but pretty annoying when you're three levels deep into a dungeon crawl and about to cut the head off the ubah evil necromancer. Yes - DA is Death Alternative Your Money or Your life. It will cause problems with you are running it next to the current version of SD+ BUT It will be required to run the next version of SD+. I am adapting SD+ quests to fit in DA's framework as we speak.

I get the Call of the Wild power and the annoying particle effect and I can't get rid of it. The problem has been reported but since it is not reproducible, there is no solution at them moment. The only way to get rid of it is to reload a save from before that effect happened. I welcome any clue about the source of this problem. had something simular, my female pc gots knocked down from a sprigan but it was killed befor sd+ was finish with everthing. no sprigan host, or just no host until i looted it from the corps, but all other evects.
