magnusx Posted March 18, 2014 Posted March 18, 2014 for those that wants the owner as follower well, emm there is a mod outhere now that lets u recruit npcs, check it out, imusing it with the first patch of SD+ over the sanguine one that was able to uninstal "safely" before the no death feature was implemented, so dunno if will work well with the new version of now, here is a screen shot, im using eef for followers, for me is working fine, i leaded the owner to an ambush of draugurs and mannage to scape meanwhile i triggered the indentured servant quest to gather money. http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/51681/?

When i used the "are we there yet" dialog, it said "your new master is dead, lucky you" and the quest ended after the screen fade to black. Not sure what is causing the problem. That means that somehow, the bandit master was found dead when you arrived in Mistwatch. Maybe some NPC from another mod killed him/her? I'm not sure, but it always happened even when i try to steal from another NPC. Edit: So i tried walking to mistwatch without using the shortcut, but after we reach mistwatch and going to the top floor the "your new master is dead, lucky you" message popped up again and the quest finished.
Slorm Posted March 18, 2014 Posted March 18, 2014 Definately a good idea to run the SSME memory fix. I just escaped Mistwatch and by the time I was close to Whiterun the memory block usage was at 269 Mb according to the log. If you're like me and running a lot of mods it'll save some CTD's
deviousMarsupial Posted March 18, 2014 Posted March 18, 2014 Minor issue: After activating SD+, when thugs come after me, they don't drag me off to whomever hired them; one of them becomes my owner and then proceeds to stand around indefinitely (or until something attacks him and I'm able to escape). Using the most recent version and all the prerequisite mods. Could I be missing something? Suggestion: A leash, at least outside, might be fun. It's way too easy to just walk away right now. More random events while owned would also be fun, but I imagine that goes without saying.

I've escaped Mistwatch got back to Whiterun (that was an interesting trip LOL) but have no quest marker so I assume they have gone to Solstheim. I don't think my level 13 character would survive long in Solstheim and I don't want to start the Mirak quest this early, so is it possible to reset it and does it stop the other missions while it stays active. If I deactivate the SD Dragonborn patch would that stop any future mission going to Solstheim?
Lyman the Lunatic Posted March 18, 2014 Posted March 18, 2014 OK Just tried the new version, something I noticed right off the bat. Circlets & necklaces won't be removed when enslaved. I later found out that my char. still got everything in her inventory & can access everything, a lot more possible when her master untied her hands. So she can put on her armor & gears then just break out. Lucky I set the difficulty to legendary so things went a bit interesting Hey, I tested normal enslavement at the Robber's Gorge, it's an outdoor & her master didn't wander off anymore. Edited Forgot to mention, sanguine didn't rape my char. the first time she's in the dream world. Just a pop up saying she's about to be raped. I forgot to mention that while my char. is enslaved, she can't use weapons to free herself anymore. (if she pick up a sword, it'll keep fall off thn cut her bindings) If she loot dead bodies, she'll equip their armors instantly. So I guess it's kinky to be raped while wearing a suit of steel armor? Even if my char. can access her inventory now or already freed, these armor can't be taken off until she visited the dream world.

I looked into that before and I couldn't find a way to exclude Solstheim from the list of possible destinations.

I was able to remove them by selling them, but I had to sell them to remove them. It is as if they are being treated like bindings, even after bindings have been removed (in my case, by a guard). I didn't try just dropping them yet. But taking them off, in inventory, or replacing them with another item of the same kind (boots, armor, etc) didn't work.

Enslavement works, but all that happens after is my character kneeling and just standing around. The dialogue options with the master that are supposed to trigger punishment/sex animations do nothing and there's also one option that opens up the racemenu editor (which I don't think is normal). Basically, nothing happens with my char after enslavement except for the kneeling and tying up part. Does anyone have any idea what could be the problem? I remember I had this issue with the old SD too and I fixed it with a patch posted here by a user that changed a slot (?), but I can't find it anymore. Edit: The animations seem to trigger when trying to run away (both punishment and sex), but not through dialogue.

The patches are included in the main download. SD+ conflict with Prison Overhaul in one way that I know of - if you go to sleep while in jail, and land in Sanguine's Dreamworld, you will be considered as a runaway and you will have your bounty increased when you come back. This is not really a bug and I like it that way

Not sure what is going on with your animations but the patch you are talking about (changing slot) is already included in this version of SD+. The racemenu showing up is a feature - it is a way to role play having your master force a new look on you. You can skip it without consequence if you do not want to change anything.

T_b_d4 Posted March 19, 2014 Posted March 19, 2014 This is for SD + 1.16 I am having an issue with Payback is a Bitch. If I walk all the way to mismatch. Once the bandit goes into the keep. The quest marker stays at the door. However, If I move to the top floor I am then enslaved to the new master. The quest line for Payback is a Bitch will start. However, if I follow the hired thug (For me it was only one thug and not three) back down the stairs I cannot kill him. Also the quest marker only stays at the door even if he leaves. So not sure what do to from this stand point. Good thing I did not have much on me when this happened. Thanks

Azn Posted March 20, 2014 Posted March 20, 2014 Indentured Servant still not working right, I keep failing it because it never ends when I give my owner gold. Am I just not giving enough gold in the time limit? Cause this is seriously annoying. The "I found some gold" dialog stays after the quest fails though. Also, dancing for npcs never seems to give gold unless I go to the console and give them gold to start with, same for the "You look all alone" dialog. And I did check the ground thoroughly for coins afterwards to be sure. So the only real way to actually get gold seems to be begging from the owner and any other npcs in the area, which actually feels appropriate. None of this is anything game breaking, just annoyances. Not sure if I'll be able to buy my way out of enslavement by begging for coins, but it'll be interesting to try! EDIT: After trying and eventually using the console to spawn gold directly, I can safely say that not only does begging not work to pay off your enslavement (each person only gives you gold one time only) but buying your freedom is flat out IMPOSSIBLE. I gave my owner over 50,000 gold and the only dialog that was available was the option to join the owners faction, which had appeared as soon as I started Indentured Servant. This kind of ticks me off as buying my freedom is my preferred way out other than just escaping. I don't like joining the owners faction and declining always feels like a cop-out. (Why would they just let you go?) I'm aware that there won't likely be an more updates for a long time, but it'd be nice if this was fixed at some point.
