So we need both files for it to update is that correct? Also I'm wondering about whether or not you can implement it where it automatically disables should the guard die while still on guard duty.

 

I'm just worried that you'll spend all that time working on fixing the guard recognition when just having a guard seems to break so many things :P I did find out later that (haven't tried using guard/follower lately) if you really are in a deserted area and sleep with scan only, it will say appropriately that there's nothing there, however if that happens you stay pitch black with the screen. I think someone posted files to fix that but aren't they the same files you posted as well? My concerns would be swapping out one fix for another.

 

It'd be nice if future file uploads come with a change log in the post so we can quickly compare and then consolidate them all.

Tried it with Hypnotik, and so far it does seem to work on the guard release thing. Haven't tried what would happen to 2+ spawns or whatever yet, but the current remaining issues I can identify are

 

1. Scan Only will still give black screen and stay that way if your scan reveals nothing (this is done through scan only + empty area with no follower)

2. Even if you put female only on victims, if you put the guard thresh hold to 0 (allowing the guard to always fuck I'm guessing) and a male attacker arrives, the male guard will always fuck the male attacker despite you putting female only.

 

So basically the only way I know of how to 3P+ is to use spawns that come in pairs, I do not know how to get 3P+ with my actor + guard + attacker, anyone who does please give advice.

 

EDIT 1: Might have figured out why the 2 spawn talking breaks the 3P, it's because the 3P spawn uses the same dialogue as the 2P spawn lines, so it ends up for example, if both are Stormcloaks asking for sex, and your actor accept one of them, then the other one is left confused while your actor bang the 1st one, instead of accepting and then having both of them at once.

 

Haven't gotten to the guard dying part yet, but Scan does seem to be weird in that if you have dead bodies near you, those will count for scan sometimes, and once you're done fucking they revive and walk around sideways clipping the ground. Spawn Only + 0% talk seems to be the safest move, but with that you will never get named npcs and such.

Hey Guffel, love your mod works great. Just got the newest one using it with newest sexlab.

 

Had a rather funny encounter however, my male char got woken up by another male npc and as the scene started up, the both flew up into the sky through anise's cabin roof before the game ctd. Haha! Is there an option to make only female npcs attack male pc?

I'm using the scan only option, too, and have the problem with the camera being stuck and permanent "black screen" (as far as ENB allows) when sleeping in deserted areas.

I've tried to fix it using the two files posted by Hypnotik, tested it a few times and for now it looks like the problem is solved.

So I guess it solves both problems and you don't have to choose.

The black screen problem was definitely not fixed with the scripts I posted before.

I'm busy working on a new version of Dangerous Nights with the benediction of Guffel.

The black screen issue is fixed in the new version. There are still a lot of things to improve but as soon as I have update rights, I will post the version I have now.

At this point, I'm not sure which one I should use as I too have hit the "bug" where only the scenario involving spawned attackers occurs, and they are always hostile.

I'm guessing that your problem is the same as mine then? Followers won't attack player character regardless of settings, only spawned npcs show up, and you get a notice that "we're under attack", before the spawned npc's(usually 2) try and kill me. No npc's attempt to talk to PC. My character just stands up, sees 2 enemies, they draw swords, and attack.

 

I've been running this mod forever, and just upgraded to a bigger HD so I had to redownload everything. But it's still in the 2.2 version I was running before, so I'm kind of curious about what's causing it to mess up now. Was there a change to a mod this relies on, or a conflict with another mod?

Yes, I have that issue. It may be because of the guard system not behaving properly with the "obscure patch". I'm waiting on hypnotik's updates. AFAIK it is a logic issue.

I've been having an issue.

Whenever my character is assaulted during the night, for some reason lately EVERY attack has been by a spider. Even if bandits are nearby.
I even disabled allowing creatures to be aggressors, and before that turned off spiders. But still, spiders are all I end up with. What the heck can I do to fix this?

Hi there, I was having issue when I sleep and Hostile NPC spawned on my position when I wake up, but they didn't do anything. They just stand there and sometimes sit and talked to me like I'm their friend.

 

What seems to causing this? Is it because I use Disparity and Imperious of Skyrim?

Several things could cause this, and if it's the mod at fault I have no idea how to help you, as I disabled it before because it wasn't working right for me either. But first head to a bandit camp and see if the bandits are passive there as well. With how buggy this mod has seemed to become lately for some people I won't deny the mod itself might be the issue, but anytime hostiles act passive the first thing I check, is if it happens to enemies not spawned by the mod. If they are not aggressive, or your followers stop following you right, you might have to increase your ugridstoload. Hopefully that's your problem, because there are so many small bugs appearing in this mod that individual patches are probably not coming any time soon.

i too am having the only hostiles spawn issue. Haven't figured out whats causing it yet as far as conflicts. load order seems to not matter. any suggestions are super welcome.

My dream mod would be Dangerous Nights combined with Realistic Sleep http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/48081/? except an upgraded version of Realistic Sleep with an MCM that would allow you to adjust the time period before the sleep deprevation effects kick in. I don't know about you but I can go 8 hours without getting sleepy. But to have a mod that would pretty much force you to go to sleep after so many hours and then add in the dangers of sleeping in a less than safe place... yeah, sign me up.

I think I found a bug with this mod: I've cleared a mine and went to sleep, but a corpse of bandit raped me. I know this is a corpse because at the end of scene there was a bandit corpse next to the bedroll, which wasn't previously there. Current setting is scan only, so I thought I was safe.

Does anyone know a reason why creatures wouldn't trigger with this mod? I've set the creature chance all the way to 80 and still nothing. Also tried to initiate with a Giant to test if it was another mod having issues, but that went just fine. I have been able to get creatuers to trigger a long time ago though. But various weeks of modding, savecleaning etc further and now no creature dares enter my lair.

I cannot get followers or guards to turn on the player character. Even with scan only and no npcs around except the follower, it will give me "you awaken from a sudden noise but there's nothing to see" message. Then I will be unable to control my character, though I can look around. My follower just stands there and does nothing.

Hi

I use a lot this mod and works great. This modification add big immersion to our adventure. especially if we use mods like RN&D, Frostfall + Camping. 

But nice if U add some event if player use wait option ( defaule T key ) or / and during fast travel.  

Also i don't understand why some stalker start conversation with me about sex.....and I can't say NO for sex ? Need to change that. for alternative conversation with stalker we have fight or agreed about sex.
