b3lisario Posted February 13, 2014 Author Posted February 13, 2014 Appologies in advance for the wall of text. I got curious about how can I add and remove shapes from NPCs and the PC without breaking things so I tested this with the UNP addon for females and after loading it up my female nord character (the only character I have) grew a schlong as inteded. I then went to the MCM menu set the UNP probability to 0 for all races and then proceeded to use the clean option (not the remove one). This reported than 1 schlong was removed. I then closed the menu but my character still had the schlong. Even after transitioning to a new cell and saving&reloading it was still there. The SOS debug spell does report that my character doesn't have any schlong assigned but the item is still equipped, I have to unequip/remove it through console. So the schlong item doesn't get removed from my character unless I do it myself. Now, I load a test save with the UNP schlong mod active (female nord character), debug reports that my character has an UNP schlong, I then remove the UNP schlong with the clean option (reports that one actor has had their schlong removed, which is my character) the debug spell reports that my character doesn't have a schlong (even though she actually does because of the thing I mentioned in the first paragraph). Now from here I did a few tests (always doing the same thing before hand which is load the test save, remove with clean option and check the debug info before and after): Case 1: if I quicksave&quickreload (lets refer to that as Q&R) my character is reported as schlongified which is normal because the chance is still set to 10% so the scholgify process affects her on every load (cell transition or save load). Case 2: if set chances to 0%, Q&R my character is reported as non-schlongified (chance is 0% so it doesn't affect anybody now); this is normal (except for the schlong item not being removed from inventory as mentioned earlier) Case 3: if I set chance to 0%, drink an UNP potion nothing happens, my character is still reported as non-schlongified even after a save&reload (after drinking the potion). This isn't the inteded behavior I think. Case 4: if I set the chance to 0%, Q&R and then drink the UNP potion my character gets reported as schlongified again (with an UNP shape) but this gives me an "This Actor Race was not designed to work with this shape addon or it's a custom race." warning (keep in mind that she's a vanilla nord). Now here (case 4) is where shit gets even stranger: if after re-schlongifying my character as explained (warning included) if I go to the clean option and use it it reports that it removed the UNP schlong from 0 actors. The debug spell on the other hand does report that my character is using the UNP shape and has all the variables assigned (SOS factions and their ranks etc). So from this point onwards one way I could think of to un-schlongify my character was to remove the UNP addon or (as I found out after more testing) by drinking one of the other shape potions which doesn't display on my character (smurf's for example). Moved on to testing this with male NPCs. To avoid having too many ESPs active I only use one shape normally which is smurf's. I gave a male NPC that had the smurf addon equipped a UNP potion. I didn't get any warning or the like, I'm assuming this is normal. HE equipepd teh UNP schlong but as expected it wasn't positioned correctly since it's positioned for the female body. Now here's the weird thing: I then gave him a smurf potion and I got the "This Actor Race was not designed to work with this shape addon or it's a custom race." warning but he's a nord and he was using that shape before I gave him the UNP potion. He did switch to smurfs again but the warning was there. I then gave him a UNP potion and no warning, gave him a smurf one and again the same warning. Decided to try something else, I set the chance to 0% for the smurf addon and cleaned it. Used unequipall on a nord NPC and he still had it equipped. Went outside and came back in and when I used unequipall he had the undies instead so it worked as intended. I can't do that with my male follower (vanilla race) for some strange reason. For testing purposes he was naked, I cleaned out the smurf addon, gave him concealing clothes, switched cells, removed clothes but he still equipped the smurf shape instead of the undies (note: I didn't give him undies, I assumed SOS would add them if he isn't supposed to use any particular shape). Debug menu reports him as a non-schlongified. For what it's worth I'm using this skeleton here: http://www.loverslab.com/topic/25971-xp32-maximum-skeleton-extended/ This is with the current stable release, I'll give the beta a go and see if it changes anything. ----- An odd thing, I don't see any Restart SOS in the MCM menu. I have a general settings section with global settings (schlongify nearby NPCs, schlong size booster, npc dialogs, spells to controll errections and spells to check SOS internals), addon reconfiguration (NPC zie probability and type probability) and keybindings (pgup, pgdwn and shift). Maybe SOS didn't update for me properly, should make a clean save and reinstall? ----- I loaded up a very early save that didn't have SOS installed on it and the Restart SOS option is there now som something went wrong when I updated. In what version was the Restart SOS option introduced? Tried out the beta and I don't get the warnings anymore, only when trying to give the UNP potion to a male and when trying to drink smurf potions as a female so that seems to work properly now. As far as I could tell it still didn't remove the UNP schlong after setting the chance to 0% and cleaning it and it still did the same thing when I removed it, readded it and tried removing it again (I can't remove it a second time). This is with a fresh character so there might be something wrong with the UNP addon and how it handles cleaning for the player character. Maybe it would be a good idea to add a remove schlong from actor function (mainly for usage on the player character) that removes the actor from the SOS factions along with removing any schlongs from their inventory (without the need for a cell transfer) so if you just want to. Also noticed that sometimes I got the "[ActorName] was trolled" message when drinking the UNP potion and then drinking the smurf one as if I drank an "Essence of the troll" potion as well which wasn't the case. This is a glorious bug you discovered! A new schlongified actor is stored in an array belonging to its schlong addon. Cleaning schlong deletes that array Schlong potion puts actor in factions, equip genitals, scales bones, but doesn't put back the actor in the array Not being there may lead to various issues, like permaunderwear Nice! Also the other issue with the clean + potion combo that I hadn't noticed: cleaning removes the magic effect from actors and without it the schlong potion script doesn't run. It's not a big issue because that effect is reapplied later, but I don't like that potion is doing nothing... Fixing this for PC is easy, I need to figure out how to solve it for the NPCs
burtonboardrline Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 Ok I installed a new skeleton which fixed the issue and SOS is working. I just have a question about schlong size and shape. I am using the UNP female SOS mod and if i give myself or an npc a bunch of essence of dragon potions the size seems to increase slightly but not very much, and when I use the shape changing potion the shape is staying the same. Also I am not sure if this is important to know but when i give the essence of dragon potion to a nude female npc they equip their armor (but they do glow so I imagine the potion worked?)
DarkEther Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 Haven't tried the new beta - using the previous version. I did find Bjorn and logged in a female character to try it out. He seems to have a perma-undies condition. I was able to get them removed using the "Hey handsome..." (whatever) line that is in the base SexLab mod (I think), which removes all clothing for a while. Testing on another male with that same character everything was working fine. I tried looking into the MCM options but saw nothing there that would explain the difference between a regular NPC and Bjorn.
Mickster Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 Case 3: if I set chance to 0%, drink an UNP potion nothing happens, my character is still reported as non-schlongified even after a save&reload (after drinking the potion). This isn't the inteded behavior I think. This is a common configuration, and I tested it a couple of weeks ago. Can you reproduce this consistently? Yes. Basically: load up character, schlong gets equipped, remove schlong through clean option (debug reports that it has been removed), drink potion, nothing happens. Now I Q&R, drink potion, I get skeleton testing message, debug reports that my character has a SOS schlong. lol'd at the underwear. The most trollysh piece of robe, it never works as intended. What says the debug spell about the "actor" spell? Its magic effect is what puts back the schlong. Cleaning the schlong removes that actor spell from actors, not sure about the magic effect. I have to test this.I'm not 100% sure but I think it reported him as not part of any faction. I'll test it again and report back. Happy to help out
youngfool Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 Hi all, I'm having this problem with SOS light, that all the textures for the male character's genitals are off, it displays as if mouth texture with lots of teeth, i tried to download some textures provided but it was futile. Any ideas? oh btw i use to have immense bodys but not anymore so yeah. Many thanks
DarkEther Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 Hey im having a little trouble trying to install this mod. I felt that your instructions were a little vague, I was just wondering if I just dump the files in my skyrim folder or do I make one? Also what files do I copy over? If you have NMM, you can just DL the file(s), then click the top icon on the left side that lets you add from a file, select the DL, and it will add it to your list. Double click it there to install as you do with other files. I've found that the best bet so you have all your mods listed in one place. You can do it manually, following the instructions, but it's generally safest to let the mod manager manage things if you can.
b3lisario Posted February 13, 2014 Author Posted February 13, 2014 I have a bit of an issue, and I've used a bit of the other fixes to no avail. I have the bending dick issue, and I've used the 'overwrite stuff with the new XPMS/new Schlongs' method and that did only a little. BTW I use TesModManager because it has a familiar feel when I used to play and mod Oblivion.I don't think that's a SOS issue. Try another skeleton. Haven't tried the new beta - using the previous version. I did find Bjorn and logged in a female character to try it out. He seems to have a perma-undies condition.Actually the underwear is his main outfit. For once it's working as intended lol Hi all, I'm having this problem with SOS light, that all the textures for the male character's genitals are off, it displays as if mouth texture with lots of teeth, i tried to download some textures provided but it was futile. Any ideas? Please reinstall the mod using the installer. Make sure you use last version. Don't replace any SOS textures after installation, check before how they look in game.
srayesmanll Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 b3lisario: I've noted before about an issue where the bending keys did not work with the full SOS version. Well, I think I found the culprit. I was trying to use the right shift key to do the bending - I play using a controller, so holding the controller in the right hand, I used the left hand to do the shift+page to try to bend. Silly me, I didn't remember that SexLab maps the right shift key to it's controls for moving the opposite direction. If I used the left shift it works. So I remapped to the right alt key and it seems to be working. Feel like such a noob for not looking for the conflict before .

nutluck Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 Did you load the skeleton last and let it overwrite everything?

Taven Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 Did you load the skeleton last and let it overwrite everything? What I did was load it manually because it kept using a feature that put weapon sheathes on my back, which I didn't like when I tried to do it automatically. Then I loaded SOS manually as well, because when I do it auto I get a legion of errors saying a file isn't there when it actually is. Just a reminder I'm using TesModManager not NMM because Tes is what I used to mod oblivion when I used to play it..although I didn't have these issues. And before someone suggests switching to NMM, that would require me to go back and find those 15 mods that worked automattically out of the 50 or so mods that didn't, and that would be too much work for me. xD
nutluck Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 The reason i ask is cause they overwrite parts of each other and that could be the problem if the skeleton is not overwriting all the correct stuff.
Setekh Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 I've just updated to 2.04.005. I can't use the shift keys to bend the schlong on my male PC at all, even changing the key combinations don't do anything. Getting erect using the spell or the mandrake potion simply doesn't let me bend at all, it's just stationary.
Taven Posted February 13, 2014 Posted February 13, 2014 The reason i ask is cause they overwrite parts of each other and that could be the problem if the skeleton is not overwriting all the correct stuff. Okay, so should I get another skeleton or something? Or describe how I install XPMS 1-93a myself if it helps? And yes, I loaded the skeleton last.

I was only pointing out the skeleton needs to be done last and let it overwrite stuff or it can cause problems. Doing it last the way you do it, I have no idea if that will overwrite the correct stuff or not.
b3lisario Posted February 14, 2014 Author Posted February 14, 2014 Update 2.04.006 Cleaning / Removing a schlong addon will remove the schlong item from player and NPCs Player and nearby NPCs will automagically get a new schlong after Cleaning / Removing a schlong, if they are eligible for that More info added to the debug spell message Fixed a bug where using a schlong shape potion might not properly schlongify the actor Fixed a bug where using a schlong shape potion would show up a wrong warning message Fixed a "was trolled" issue when drinking schlong shape potions under some conditions Minor script optimizations I've added a patch containing these changes for the beta users in the beta post Click here to download this file

I have your previous beta installed SOS - Schlongs of Skyrim - 2.05.002-BETA, what version exactly do I have to download now ? This one SOS - Schlongs of Skyrim - 2.05.002-BETA.7z 54.36MB 50 downloads or this one SOS 2.05.002-BETA - updates from 2.04.006.7z 140.43KB 4 downloads install over main file, overwrite when asked Sorry about this but I think its the first one thought not sure...
Mickster Posted February 14, 2014 Posted February 14, 2014 To be 100% sure you can probably install the 54.3MB beta file and then the smaller patch over it. I'll tell you in a second. ------- The smaller patch file has a newer time stamp on the ESP so I think it would be better to install it over the current 2.05.002 file. Player and nearby NPCs will automagically get a new schlong after Cleaning / Removing a schlong, if they are eligible for thatWill it correctly default to underwear if I'm only using one schlong though? And what about the UNP addon, will it default to underwar even though it shouldnt (although IIRC the underwear doesn't display on females so that's not a big issue)? Also, one thing I forgot to mention with the 2.05.002 beta (I haven't tried the latest patch for it yet, the one that fixes the schlong item removal), the size 20 in the is only attainable by the player as far as I can tell. My follower refused to take a potion once he hit 10, don't know if this is intended or now.
bobbyjakson Posted February 14, 2014 Posted February 14, 2014 how do you change you characters schlong size
criswolf09 Posted February 14, 2014 Posted February 14, 2014 Hi again B3lisario, I have another question, do the recent updates to the mod include the custom race patch which is the 2.03.010b update?
Mickster Posted February 14, 2014 Posted February 14, 2014 Ok, tried out the beta and with the latest patch installed over it and as far as I could tell things worked as they should, great job
JustCaroAnon Posted February 14, 2014 Posted February 14, 2014 Hi, Just wanted to ask, is this definitely incompatible with EFF or is there a fix for the bug listed on the download page? If not, is this okay with AFT? (I keep getting told not to use UFO because apparently it hasn't been updated in a long time.)
