Hi, I'm wondering if it's possible to edit and add more notes to Melissa the courier? And if it is possible, how would I do it? I can't really find conclusive answers (other than adding a complete quest with the courier...).

If you are using one of the texture sets other than the original size I think the watermark image was resized and Skyrim is really picky about the size of images that go into letters and such. You can either install the original set or just pull the texture from it (is in data/textures/devious/shop and is called 'watermark').

The CD couriers dialogue is in its own quest and but is controlled by the CDxTaskManager quest (cdxtask_manager script). If you are wanting to use her to send messages or letters send me a pm with what you are looking to do and I can explain what you will need to do. It isn't too difficult to do but you will have to tap into her dialogue and the CDxTask_Manager script, I can tell you how to do what you need to do.

so i have tested the punishment scene again. and this time xpmse and all SoS mods are disabled but still, don't work. here is another log file. thanks for offering me the help on slaverun reloaded but i prefer to get this little problem solved first. on my actually savegame, (testsaves) slaverun is not started yet. and to get the arena finished (where the most ctd's happen) i would have to play about 40 hours and i really didn't want to do that. i have uninstalled some mods and because of that i deleted my old savegames.

You are still getting multiple errors from Being Female, Creature Framework, Devious Followers (I believe, is at position A0 now) and NIO. Another mod that is doing quite a few things is FNIS Sexy Move. There are other mods that do constant checks running as well, I don't remember what mods these script prefixes go with but the prefixes are CRDE (commonly used DD mod), SGO and RNPC (don't recognize these two at all). These are running at intervals as often as 15 seconds for each mod

 

I do think I found what may be interrupting things (at least in this case): Lovers Comfort

Lovers Comfort may be trying to initiate something between Master, Tessa and Nissa which would interfere with the scene.

 

Another mod that has interfered with CD before is Sanguine's Debauchery

 

 

You also may want to try some ini file changes, particularly these two values in the Papyrus section:

fExtraTaskletBudgetMS=2.0

These are the values I use, yours are set to 1.2 on each. This would give a bit more time for scripts to run, you can try increasing these in your ini file a bit (maybe half as much of an increase) and see if that helps.

Now i tried many things. i disabled fnis sexy move, beeing female, lovers comfort, reinstalled captured dreams, changed ini setting as you mentioned. nothing worked. what should happen when my character gets punished? whipping? as long as i'm not pissing the master off i can play because its the only thing that didn't work but of course with less fun... as long as there are no punishments in the tasks it's playable for me. but when at some point, punishment is required in the story it's unplayable. i guess i change back and use this mod only as a recource for devices used by other mods. but thanks for the help anyway. i have to many mods installed wich change something on the characters in game (NPC/PC/Creature) and thats propably the problem. to find out what the problem is i think i should enable the logging into papyrus on the rest of the mods.

Because it's completely impossible to complete the mine errand the mistress gives the player, how the hell do I get rid of the flag that tells the mistress that I already have a job to do? It's not even a simple quest to remove! There is practically NOTHING notifying that I have a quest going?

So how do I get rid of it?

Never mind that, I just forgot that you can remove quest progress in the MCM menu. I'm fine.

Now i have made my last test. I disabled ALL mods except captured dreams and its requirements. But still, the punishment isn't working. the savegame is also a new one. so maybe the version 4.15 is broken somehow? I mean there couldn't be any mod conflicts on that savegame because no other mod is running on it. i disabled even the unofficial patches for skyrim. I guess that this mod isn't compatible with the needed devious devices mods when they are v4 or above. my versions of assets, integration and expansion are 4.0

Oh and one more thing, i startet a new game as a slave of the captured dreams master. a low slave who works in the mine. after i got the task to help the smithy i run off instead. after a short time my collar shocked me and i lie on the ground without player control. the guys come for me to catch me and when they reach me, nothing happened. they just go away again and i lie on the ground without control. so this also isn't working.

Also, i have tested the version 4.05 including the update on 4.051. on both versions the punishment doesn't work as well. And by the way, whoever made the translation of that version...it sucks! you should delete the german version. to many mistakes in it and many is wrong translated.

While there are some incompatibilities with v4 just about every item will work as intended (as far as I know only the custom armbinder does not). The worst thing that should happen is an item has some features (animations for example) that do not work,

I know about this, the paralysis spell is keeping the scene from continuing but the spell effects won't end until after the scene does

v4.05 is very old and the translation was done by CGI

Overall I can see where you enter the shop both initially (devices being equipped on slaves and tags being set for items) and when you return (items being equipped on npc's again). Because of the errors with the gag I can tell that you are at the customer (CustomerUnhappy function is triggered and that is where errors referring to the gag are happening).

 

The last thing in the log concerning CD or DD is:

Try the following from a previous post:

If it happens when you are being given a punishment and you have checked the 'punishmentRunning' variable and it is NOT 0 you can simply restart the scene where the punishment is handed out - Using the command   Startscene  xx2472ae   (xx being the load position ID of CD) will start the scene again and hand out the punishment. You need to make sure that Herran and Master is there (you can find their ID's using the SQV command in #2 above, use it with  prid <id>  then moveto player) and that your controls are disabled.

At what point does the punishment fail? What is the last bit of dialogue from Master? That will help me determine if the handoff between the delivery quest and punishment quest worked or if the problem is happening in the punishment quest. Since there are no errors in the log referring to these quests (at least nothing after you return).

 

Another thing to check is to check   sqv  cdxPunishmentSet01   and tell me if the aliases are filled or not (should be visible on the screen as soon as you use the command as they are listed last). This will tell me if the punishment quest was even initialized. If not then I can tell you how to start the quest and get it going.

 

There is one thing going on from the Hearthfires DLC, this keeps happening once you visit your home from it (can also see that you are a vampire and sleep in the coffin - not that it matters to CD):

This repeats fairly often and has caused issues for some people, not sure why it does cause issues for some and not others or why it does at all.

 

Last thing: which version of Skyrim are you using? Original or Second Edition?

Guys, I need your help. I'm quite new to modding, but somehow managed to make everything work. Except one thing - the whipping scenes in Captured Dreams. The NPC that is supposed to beat the s**t out of my character just freezes.

 

I hope that you can help me with this problem.

Look to see if he has the whip equipped (in his hands) or not. If not, use the console to select him and use 'showinventory' and see if it is in his inventory, if so use 'equipitem <item id>' and it should start. If he does not have it use 'help whip' and find one from ZAP (prefix will be zbf and the ID likely ends in 006004 or 006001) and use the equipitem command as above. This is an error that happens from time to time, not sure why as I have it set both via the AI package and script for him to equip and draw the whip.

No, he/she doesn't equip the whip. Instead the NPC freezes in the t-pose. My assumption is that it has something to do with FNIS, but for the life of me I can't figure it out.

Update to the above.

 

I installed PC Exclusive Animation Path. The NPC now moves, and keeps the fighting stance, but the whip is not equipped.

CRDE is Deviously Enslaved Continued. for its scan time i personally suggest 31 seconds or any other prime number in seconds. it takes quite a while before it would run into most other mods scan times. i have seen that the mods i have used, which do scans are between 15 and 30 seconds, with CRDE set to 31 seconds it does scan when other do but it will take a few cycles from each mod to align with each other.

If you have equipped the whip or crop (whatever he had on him) he should use it, if not you can use the 'EvaluatePackage' console command on him and it should get him to evaluate his AI packages and start the scenes AI package. Otherwise you can try waiting 1 hour using the wait command and see if he goes back to his routine. Since he would now have the whip / crop he should perform the next scene properly.

Latest update: I finally made it work, after changing some settings in FNIS patches. So I'm good for now :).

Question related to the quests in the mod, especifically the Slave Erani quest: I have been playing for at least sixty hours in my current file, but I have yet to have gotten the Slave Erani quest even once; is there a specific way to trigger it, other than the expansion being complete?

The requirements are having a rank with Master of 15 or more ( help   cdxrankmaster   will bring up the global variable and its value)

The % chance of it happening is 30 + (your level x 2), if it is under this then you should receive a letter about it (have 2-4 days to go to Master about it) otherwise it is put on hold for 3-5 days then checked again. Also, the expansion MUST be completed and it is recommended that you have a home where you can take her (even homes from mods will work so long as you can get her inside).

 

You can use   sqv cdxTask_Manager   to see the status of the quest, look for the following variables:

Avail_ExpQuest04      0=no, 1=yes

Timer_ExpQuest04     Days to either start the quest if above is 1, otherwise is days before checking if available again.

 

You should be able to manually set it so you can speak to Master and get the quest, just use   setpqv  cdxTask_Manager  avail_expquest04 1    and then speak to Master and ask about a special quest (may be under available quests but I believe that is the dialogue tree it is in).

 

Also, when you use the sqv command above check that the quest has a timer running, should be all the way at the top (use pg up to scroll) and it will be listed under the papyrus section, it will have an interval of about 24 hours. If it isn't there you should be able to restart the Task Manager timer in the MCM menu (very important as the Task Manager quest controls when all the quests are available).

I came on an issue downloading:

   CD Part 3 - Catsuit CBBE Mesh & Bodyslide Data.zip

Seems the file has a .txt extension

I changed manually to .7z and things seems to work perfectly.

 

Just for you to know. Tx for the mod and keep up the great work! ?

I've been having problems getting the runaway scene to play out properly as a property slave.

 

I had the typical problem with the paralysis causing problems so I attempted to fix it by using a combination of startscene xx19b6e5, enabling/disabling player controls and moving the guards to the player, however this didn't work.

 

The scene successfully begins, and they end up saying "Master is not going to be happy with you." but then just walk off and the player is left where they are.

 

Is there a way I can skip to the next scene (which I assume takes place after a teleport)?

Odd as the file extensions on the download page are all .7z or .zip so I am not sure why it would have shown as a .txt instead.

If these are items from ZAP they don't have the DD mechanic with them and DD does not recognize standard ZAP items anymore (removed keyword recognition), if they are DD v4 or Cursed Loot items I don't know why they would not work and would be something to take up with the developer. None of these items should be sold (as far as I can see in TESVEdit) and they are not included in any of my restraint arrays where items are generally pulled from.
