I just finished that quest few minutes ago and I never got that description. Or maybe I didn't see it. For me was something along the lines: "Wonder what Master will do with Erani" and had to wait a few ingame days. In the meantime got the Solitude quest that bugged after Elisif was tide to the column and would repeat the same lines when near her (solved with disable player controls). And while I was doing that quest got an update on the Erani one to ask Master "How Erani is doing". Got to Master, finished Solitude dialogue, then asked about Erani and gone through that dialogue, Master gave her to me, but bugged since she wouldn't move. Used teleport her to player from MCM, then still had some glitch on dialogue commands but ultimately she followed me outside VIP. Saved and here I am.

Anyway, having trouble with the enslavement quest (when you get sent to CD via Simple Slavery or the like): I say I want to pay off my debt, get sent to meet the Master, she pulls out a note to read, and then nothing happens. She's just standing there reading her note forever and I'm unable to move. I remember this quest working fine pre-DD4, so I'm wondering if that's somehow related? Anyway, I can post load order and all that if needed, but I'm not at home right now, and I figured there's a chance it's a known issue. Thanks!

seanthiar Posted July 3, 2019 Posted July 3, 2019 HI, the master wear not only catsuits. She wears nearly everything she sells. If you want to change that I think, the only way would be to change all the meshes for the DD-Items used and make them lorefriendly. For example change all carbonite optics to look like leather. If you think about it, the only lorefriendly parts are the rusty parts like shackles, pear of anguish etc.- everything else needs to get changed for a lorefriendly optic even the metal parts. They look like they are lined with rubber. For lorefriendly it should be a tanned leather optic and a gag needs to have a metal ring, bone, wood or something like that and not a shiny rubber ball. I would say - have much fun with editing the meshes BTW if you mean by "lore-friendly" a more medieval look and feel you have to change much more in Skyrim, beginning with the armor and clothes. Or you could accept that it's all old technic from the dwemer, like Rayani said. Add the devious devices lore mod, I'm especially thinking of the part with Llathesi R'uer, the Scribe. She searches for dwemer oil that's magically and alchemic manipulated and if you open the flasks the oil escapes and puts you in carbonite or rubber catsuits. Carbonite and rubber is in that lore explained as a refined form of dwemer oil. It is no big step to think that master and friends / slaves did the research and were able to make that by themself without the need of old resources of dwemer oil, because that resource is limited.

petronius Posted July 3, 2019 Posted July 3, 2019 I'm currently assigned to work at the Smithy. Done one errand for De'Zra. I noticed that if I enter the Shop, the Manor or the VIP house, nobody will be bothered about it. However, if I speak to the people in the Manor they'll just assume I'm working there and will give me new stuff to do. Also, if I speak to the master and ask her for work, she'll give me some delivery to make/collect, but if I go too far away from the compound, the restraints will start to give me shocks and the guards will come after me (though they won't attack). Ultimately, if I complete the task and return, I end up being shocked unconscious right on arrival. So, I'm unsure how to deal with this: is there a script that I should follow so as to not break the mod, like simply do what I'm told and show no initiative at all? Or am I supposed to take initiative so I "climb through the ranks" faster?

Run Bodyslide - it looks like you didn't. At youtube you will find a nice Howto for skyrim with different mod managers.
petronius Posted July 4, 2019 Posted July 4, 2019 Same problem here. It's the padded arms worn by Alessia (##01775b) that don't appear. I did batch build in Bodyslide and most assets work fine, but those padded arm cuffs don't. Anyway, I think it may be a problem with DD... The ARMO record ##01775b doesn't have any reference to an ARMA containing the worn model path.

seanthiar Posted July 4, 2019 Posted July 4, 2019 just an idea for a selfmade workaround - get a file that works and that's of the same sort - in petronius case another set of cuffs and copy+rename it to the file that is missed. Write the names that are missed down for the support and run bodyslide with the workaround copy/rename version. Your error in bodyslide should be goneand will work until there is a new version delivered. That should fix your problem until a new version.

I suppose the fact that the guards come after me when I leave the compound means no, I should wait for a later stage in the quest?
seanthiar Posted July 5, 2019 Posted July 5, 2019 I found the best for me was to ask. You'll get only the daily workload like working in the mine, smithy, deliver something etc if you ask for it. The rest are fixed quests or consequences of your behaviour while working or fail in fullfilling the workload you asked for. You can't get a better standing if you don't proof that they needn't to come after you. The better your standing, the more tasks you fullfilled that had a positive outcome the more freedom you get. And at a certain level the guards ignore 'cause they know you do only that what you are ordered to.
petronius Posted July 5, 2019 Posted July 5, 2019 So if I'm a manor slave and ask the master for one of her tasks and manage to do it on my free time, there will be no negative consequences for leaving the compound? I don't mean the tasks you're eventually given, but actually asking the master for more work. What if it asks you to go to riften, windhelm, solitude? Usually it's past noon when I'm done with Markus' tasks. No way I'd be able to run that far and back before night fall. Edit: I tried it. I asked the master if she had a job for me, and she sent me to whiterun for a delivery. I went there, came back and the guards were aggressive towards me. At that point, something was frozen. I was stuck in 3rd person camera mode, couldn't move. Had to quit and reload the game. It seems like you're not supposed to ask for jobs from the master while you're a property slave, that's probably a dialogue for the "relationship slave" thing. Shouldn't be available, then...
seanthiar Posted July 5, 2019 Posted July 5, 2019 Maybe I described it the wromg way - you have to ask the person for more work you ordered to work with. For example in the mine the overseer, in the manor Marcus etc. Think like in the normal job world. If you are finished with your work you ask the foreman and if you are the foreman you ask the general foreman and if you are in the smithy you ask the smith..... master can give you only work if you are high enough in pecking order to be ordered around by her. Ske does not know that maybe marcus disallowed you to leave the property. At the moment you are not important enough that you are of interest for her that she know what you are allowed to do. The boss does not always know everything. Either she will give you work but that will have consequences if it's aginst the order of you direct boss.

I was promoted in two days both from the mine to the smithy, and from the smithy to the first special job and then from that to the manor. Now I've been doing manor jobs for 20 days and nothing new happens. Ok, I've been moved to the first floor room with the other girl but that actually happened "fast" (in some 5 days). Nothing new has happened since. Every day I try to turn in 4 completed jobs. I've been playing the mod for 22 real life hours. I just can't do this any more, I've found ways to cheat every task and turn them in immediately (after reading about the second sweeping job in the same day, which is bugged and requires console to complete), and only play the market runs. Is there a variable that stores your progression with the manor? Something I can check to be assured that I'm getting somewhere? At least in the smithy I was training skills, now it seems like I'm going nowhere.

I have CACO which gives me pretty cool effects and debuffs from alcoholic beverages but those are all I have to drink in the manor, I've become a complete alcoholic consuming 8 portions of alcohol every day to quench my thirst. Kid of befits the sad story of this slave. Edit: It did progress, and only needed another day after my "despair" LOL
TRoclodyte Posted July 13, 2019 Posted July 13, 2019 Hey guys. I don't know if anyone can help me on that: the water barrel quest doesn't seem to be working for me. I'm currently working as a manor slave and I got my two quests for the day: bring firewood to the kitchen and fill the water barrel. I've brought the firewood first and it worked perfectly. I spoke to the cook, he said I did a good job, took back the axe and I was done with that one. Then I took the jugs and filled the barrel until it said 'Barrel is full'. I even tried making another trip but it says 'Barrel is already full', just to make sure. When I speak to the cook, he asks me if I filled the barrel yet, and the conversation just ends there and I can't do anything about it. If I go tell Markus that I'm done for the day, he gets upset and punishes me. Is there anything I can do about this? Even a console fix would work for me. Thank you. EDIT: I found my own solution by searching through files in SSEdit and console commands. For anyone who might have the same problem, the solution is to type in the console the following line: setpapyrusquestvar XX1a0817 barrelwaterlevel_var 0

I get CTD's constantly with both running at once. I haven't found a workaround for this, but perhaps something to look into, or just note for the future.

Maybe you should look if your skyrim got all patches (Usleep, oneway, crashfixes, CTD-Loadfix, stringpatch for sexlab). incl. enb working. For example on 8.July there was a new version of usleep on nexus. On steam usleep is no longer supported and updated - they only support new SSE patches now. And if you are using mods like skyfem you must be careful because it tries to modify files from other mods and some are incompatible with that. The same problem with the modify I got with a try of wryebash - after running that tool only ctd's. Deinstalled it and used a "restore point" of windows to remove that tool without consequences.
