I have a problem .. i cant see npcs feet almost none of them does anyone know why ?

All the footwear comes from DD other than the boots for the catsuits so you are likely missing meshes for them. If they are wearing catsuits then download part 3 and install it, it will have the CBBE body catsuits and the regular boots as well as the bodyslide files for the catsuts. If they are not wearing a catsuit it is likely a different DD boot that you are missing the meshes for.

 

 

 

I came across a strage bug, but I'm not sure if it's on purpose.

 

It's about the Protector Plus items you can put on your spouses (when you're the master). For some reason, if they come across another item that slows them down (like the restrective boots thanks to something like Cursed Loot), they'll literraly slow down to a crawl and it persist even with the items off. The only way I found to solve it is to reload a save from before it happened, and even that is a bit sketchy.

 

I don't know if the Protector Plus items weren't meant to be used for a long stretch of time, but that pretty much prevents me from using them (since we also go on adventuring together).

 

I do have a few Followers mods (like "My Home is your Home") so I'm wondering if that might do something. Is there something (like a console command) to bring an NPCs running speed back to normal?

They are made for long term wear and have no enchantments to slow the person down at all. Are you using the normal release of DD or the beta version? There is a mod called Nausicaa's Tweaker that allows you to modify some things on you or other npc's and speed is one of them.

 

I also have a problem with Slave Elani. When it's time to finally take her, I get her home (usually in the manor from Solitude), but when I come back (after a period of time), she completely vanishes from the game. I had the same results with other houses (and modded houses don't seem to work for some reasons). Although I'll add that I sorta remembers this happening to other (modded) followers with the exception of those I send to the Underground Bathouse (another mod. This one kinda works for some reason), but considering the amount of scripting Elani has, I don't dare send her here. I'm wondering if this comes from your quest, or if it's a common problem unrelated to this mod (I even sent her to Breezeholme to make sure I could find her easily and she did vanished). I've left the quest unfinished as a result.

You need to tell her this is her new home, show her where she will be working and sleeping and such then tell her to start working otherwise the markers for her daily routine will not be moved and she will go to them (Manor back bedroom I believe, if not then they are still in the storage space cell).

 

 

I know you have a version planned soon (and I can't wait) but I haven't kept up on what is planned for that version. I don't know if the two parts I mentioned are going to be overhauled, but if they're not, that could be things to keep a look out for.

I have used both of these with no issues so unless it is an issue I can replicate there is nothing I can do about it.

I use the normal release of DD (I'm SERIOUSLY tempted by the beta, but Skyrim is so fragile that I don't dare (at least until it's properly released)). I know hobbling is supposed to slow a character, but somehow, the protector items makes the effect permanent. I'll see what I can do with this tweaker.

 

About Erani, I'll have to try it.

 

And a small question (you probably answered that before, but I'm curious). I'm wondering what's planned for the next version? You've alluded to many things (too many for me to keep track of them) planned for this new version and I'm wondering what I should look forward to. And if a new save (or a mod reset) will be necessary.

 

Edit: Good news, Nausicaa's Tweaker fixed the problem (my spouses' speed was at 50% for some reason. Strange).

 

 

I have several issues with the current version with effects not being removed after the devices have been. While the DD dev team has been improving the beta I don't have enough confidence in it to use it so I will wait for the formal release.

 

Next update is a reworking of the Manor Slave quest and its tasks. The long, tedious tasks such as fetching water and sweeping have been changed so you have to get far less water and sweeping has been divided up to each floor as a separate task. I will be fixing and revamping the time spent with Rayani and Ariasha (I didn't put enough into these like I wanted or test them as much as I wanted either). I am adding several tasks and most of these will also be available as normal jobs so they will do double duty. There were 2 larger tasks that I was going to include but have decided to separate them into its own update. The task system for Manor Slave overall is also being changed where instead of doing a minimum of 2 tasks and max of 4 you can do as many tasks as you like but each task is worth a certain number of points (depending on time and difficulty) and you have a minimum number of points to get each day. How tasks are selected will also change so it should eliminate the duplicate tasks as well.

 

 

Nausicaa's tweaker is a very useful utility for npc's as you can save them to one of 2 lists, make them essential or not, make them your friend in case an npc attacks you that shouldn't and npc's saved to the list can be summoned at any time.

 

 

i have a simple question about how to unlock CD collars, because i'm doing trapped in rubber and one master doesn't like the choice of collar i can't remove with cursed loot, and i don't know which key i need to use.

 

There is an option in the MCM menu to remove CD devices but it will remove and take all CD devices you have.

For German dialogue, yes but a translation of v4.15 is being worked on as well as a new installer to simplify things, CGi is currently testing them now.

 

Edit: I believe you will be able to simply update your game with the new version once released but heed the following:

- If you are in Property Slave don't update until you are in the cage just before you sleep for the night.

- If you are using Chaste Spouse update while away from the house.

- If you are a Relationship Slave and want a ring to be able to remove the belt go to the room given to you (back left corner of the main floor of Manor) and enable the chest that has the extra's (on top of the Wardrobe) by doing the following:  PRID  xx1099e7   then   enable  and it should show up:

- any other short term quests should be completed, any other quests not specifically mentioned should be able to be updated with it running.

Still a have some time before it is ready though the German translation of 4.15 is being tested by CGi now along with an installation system.

 

For v4.16 I am working on revamping the Manor Tasks and adding new ones.

- sweeping - split into different tasks for each floor - done

- fetching water - reduced the amount needed - done

- Go to Market - no changes

- Gardening - no changes

- Chop Wood - no changes

- Customer Assist 02 - no changes

- Meet with Rayani - to be overhauled

- Meet with Ariasha - to be overhauled

- Sell items in a major city - Under construction **

- Deliver a Special Invitation - not started **

- Overhaul the Task assignment and assessment system for Manor Slave - Under construction

 

Note - the items with ** will also be available as regular repeatable quests and not just for Manor Slave

 

I have run into one major issue - the selection of random standard items. The DDi system of getting items by Tags is not working well as it gives me items I have specifically blacklisted and some items are not being equipped. I am building an Array system just like the one used for the quest items except this one is larger. The Quest Item array system has 27 arrays with 18 items each but the system for the standard devices will have 29 arrays with 28 items in each one for a total of 812 items (this includes the Inventory item, Script Instance item and Keyword for all of the items to be used) though there are a number of empty slots with a placeholder item in them, still it is a large undertaking. Scripts that call on using standard items (far fewer than quest items) will need updated as well. Part of the system has been made already and a large portion of what remains will mostly be copy/paste from various places. nice thing though is that I should not have to create a large number of properties as the custom items are already there and the standard ones will be taken directly from DDi and DDx.

hello.i am sorry but i dont like anymore how new mods and modders handle latest updates for majority mods in LL,such changin texture meshes etc etc,deff screw up all the other mods concepts plus,alot ppl like use own body texture and meshes,i have to say is pity cos old dream capture was a good implementation to gameplay .dont take it personal,this is just my point of view.

I searched for the answer to this, but I can't find anything, so lemme ask a short question:

 

Is there a way to disable the "Player in new location" notification in top left that appears every few meters? It's kinda spammy and I want it off :)

 

It's located in "cdxcouriertrigger.pex" in case that's needed, also, is it ok if I just edit it out, remove that sentence from that script? It wont break anything?

 

"You can remove it or comment it out with a ; in front of it but you will need to compile the script. I will see about removing the comments from that."

 

 

 

 

 

can you maybe explain how to do so? cause it's rly damn annoying :P

You think that's annoying, try a courier that won't quit even when disabled in the MCM. You are about to flee from your attackers because you're low on health out of potions; well not before you are forced to talk to the courier for the 1000'th time. And you cannot quickly exit the conversation either because every time you try to exit the next topic of the conversation is forced down your throat so much so that by the time you finally get out of it your attackers caught up with you and cut your head off. But does the courier help you for causing all of this? Of course not.

 

I have console disabled said courier in my game, and all is so much better.

What exactly does enabling the encounters in the three holds in the MCM actually do? Enabled them and waited in the holds for a few days but nothing got triggered...

First time trying this game. First impression: The master in the shop is ugly. She's so ugly... (insert Dangerfield joke). I can't understand why all these nice chicks in the shop would want to submit to a bug eyed, yellow skinned frog or whatever she is. As it is, my dovahkin is a dom and she had to explain to master the facts of life, put a couple of plugs and a belt on her. It's only fair. (made me feel better anyway) Now if only I could get that damn harness off Nissa.

Definitely agree with you regarding Master, she's really not much of a looker in my opinion. If I knew anything about modding, I'd definitely go into the files and change her to someone a bit sexier.

I just went there for the first time and gotta agree, imo all the girls need some upgrade :>

 

but the mod itself is awesome so far, off the little I saw I already like it very much

maybe vela can find some skilled folks who are willing to take care of the girls :o

If you don't like what mods do to the DD items themselves then don't use them. As for CD I don't modify the base items themselves, any retextured items are all made as new items. I know there are several mods that use retextured items with some extreme textures but they will not appear in CD after the next update. I had been using a system in DD that used tags on items to get the random generically keyed items but that is going away. There are also a number of items in DD itself that I am not interested in using in addition to some of the retextured items floating around so I am going to an a system that uses arrays to hold the devices that will be used and will be limited for the most part to the items displayed in the shop. The tag system had worked well for some time but in tests of the latest content it no longer filters out the unwanted items.

 

If any of you had hopes of seeing the new items from DD in CD you will be disappointed as most anything introduced in v3+ of DD will not be used except in specific situations where they are appropriate and so far that has not come about. Also the catsuits and hoods currently in CD will not be used either in the random item system.

Those were commented out back on 10/16 so any releases since then would have had the changge, I am guessing that you are using an older version of CD.

She is set to appear only in areas such as towns and cities or villages, any locations with keywords for bandits or such should not trigger her appearance. If she is finding you in these locations then she was likely triggered in a populated area and had been pursuing you since then.

If any of you can make a better looking version using ONLY the CK with vanilla resources be my guest and try. If you think making a character in vanilla Skyrim leaves you with few options the CK has even less. As it is the elves facial structure in Skyrim is horrible. I use ECE and can't make an elven face that I like.

That's fair enough, it's definitely not a major issue to me. Looking forward to see what's to come, easily my favourite mod!

      somehow I manage to misunderstand the instructions and installed Install v4.05

Install v4.051 (was the LESP file) after the v4.09 version (derp)

The texture issue has to do with your shadow settings as there are shadow casting lights in the central part of the room.

 

As for v4.09 the text was not updated and was there to let people know that v4.05 was the last version available in German. V4.15 is the current version and is English only.

There is a property on shadow-casting lights in the Creation Kit called Shadow Bias, and this problem arises when that value is set too low. Some of the vanilla interiors do not have the proper value set and thus causes this striping.

Enhanced Lights and FX (ELFX) fixes all of these. If you don't want a lighting overhaul, there is a patch that fixes a number of them here: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/27418/?

I actually have ELFX, so it's strange that I still have these kinds of shadows in certain spots. Maybe it has something to do with the load order?

Hmmm, it's possible. It's also possible you found one that was missed. That doesn't look like a vanilla location though, is that a house mod? If that's the case, ELFX won't fix it.

(ENB shadows will REALLY fix it.)

It is, but I do sometimes experience these shadows in other areas, usually outside. I may take a look at some ENB shadows in the meantime. I'll also post a comment on the ELFX nexus page to see if I can get any extra advice there.

it's one of the oldest known engine limitations.

Try one of those: Striped Shadows.

it's still up to luck because mods that add shadow casting light souces in a specific way (f.e. when casted shadows overlap or the shadow falloff is steep) will still cause it to a degree.

 

P.s.: The mod from the search result is outdated and a better version of it's mechanics is part of USLEEP. So what you're looking for are only iNi edits.

You just need to add light data to shadow casting lights, and set the shadow depth bias to something high, like 25 as shown in the screenshot above.

Problem is that these changes need to be applied to every PLACED shadow casting light, not the base light itself.

Absolutly true. Forgot that CD uses copies of vanilla lights so USLEEP's edits are ofc not carried over.

Will try to include those changes in the next version if Vel hasn't already done so.
