Some of the physics issues are because of frame rates, lower your frame rate to 57 with FPS Limiter, higher fps then 60 cause the problems and fps goes up and down and are at the highest indoors, some items might need to have there havok disabled

In my game the "freee trial" doesn t work.

As soon as the chastity belt is equipped master stops doing anything. (should equip other stuff).

 

Tried to use MCM options to reset idle, unlock/lock and so on but to no avail. tried many times on many saves.

 

Also is there a way to test customer service 1?

 

I have good success rate and still going on but yet i don t get any special task no new job except work in mine/delivery/recover delivery

There's currently an issue with conditions in Free Trial.

 

Open up the console and use sqv CDXFreeTrial and see if the stage is 50 after the belt is equipped and the scene gets stuck.

 

The use setstage CDxFreeTrial 75. This will progress the scene and allow Master to continue added devices.

Awesome mod, and the compatibility for male characters is greatly appreciated! Just wanted to ask about a few things / bugs.

  1. I think this has been reported, but the Free Trial gets stuck after the chastity belt as male. The console workaround (setstage CDxFreeTrial 75) is working fine, though. This is a known issue and has been fixed for the next release
  2. \During the VIP session as a Slave, when the guest used the chain nothing happened (not sure what, if any, idle was supposed to play) and when she used the leather bindings he somehow tied herself up (which was very funny but prevented her from whipping me afterwards / broke the scene). I was also bound by chains then immediately unbound as her next action, though I'm not sure if this was related or just a fluke. For the most part the session is random as far as the actions are concerned though it should at least do something between being bound and unbound
  3. Also during the VIP session, each time the guest chose whipping, she would tell me to count, but only struck me once before immediately sheathing the crop and moving onto the next action/punishment. This was left over from a change in the scene.

     

  4. When I accepted the offer to become a personal/relationship slave, I had a SexLab scene with Ariasha, got the collar/belt, listened to Markus's introduction, then it seemed to bug out a bit (tested as both Male and Female).
    1. One of the maids tells me to see Markus; the other one has two ellipses (...) as dialogue options, one of which is the "see Markus" dialogue and the other which says "I am sure you'll have a good time. I have done it a few times and it was fun." Odd since the manor maids share the same dialogue.
    2. Markus won't talk to me at all (nor will Ariasha, but I assume that's just not implemented) Likely a condition issue
    3. The Master has a new greeting "What does my lovely little slave need, hmm?" but doesn't seem to behave any differently otherwise. Relationship Slave content has not been developed beyond the initial opening and is high on my list of things to do.
    4. I am able to speak to Rayani, who does seem to recognize me as a new slave and has a wealth of dialogue.
    5. I know the description mentions that the relationship slave path doesn't have much content yet, so I just wanted to check if I've done everything or if Markus should have more to say to me. Markus does not have any additional dialogue yet either.

       

  5. Very minor, but as Male, it appears that when choosing an open-back belt (during the relationship slave collar/belt selection), the belt is not added at all. Both the harness and closed-back belt work, however (so if I were to guess, I would say it's because the vaginal plug gets auto-skipped, meaning if the belt is open-back, the plug-insertion, including the belt application, is skipped entirely). Even more minor, as female: the plugs fell out before the Master actually added the belt, so after the scene they were in my inventory but not actually equipped. I will check into this but there are checks in the system that vaginal plugs don't get put on males. The issue with plugs falling out with females is due to script lag, DDi will be implementing a change where they don't slip out anymore soon.

     

  6. This might just be me (since I use a small patch to add/tweak male support for some of the CD versions of the Devious Devices), but the Captured Dreams panel gags display as the default/black leather regardless of what color/material is equipped. I only mention this because it also affects the Female meshes (which my patch doesn't touch), but it could still very well be something I messed up while tinkering or an issue with DD itself rather than any CD interaction. I will check that I changed the textures on the gags but the patch file needs updated for all the new colors.

Unrelated, but as someone who has been following / enjoying the mod since well before v4, I was wondering if you had any interest in fleshing out some of the dialogue (because I would be happy to write it for you if so).

  1. Additional daily questions from Nissa/Master to adjust the player's Dom/Sub/Taste(Sadism, Control, etc.) values and/or additional answers to daily questions unlocked via certain personality/relationship values.
  2. Additional dialogue when delivering a package, perhaps allowing Dom players to tease the client (and Sub players to be teased by the client).
  3. Additional VIP session dialogue (just for flavor, not to affect the actual session).
  4. Additional dialogue with some of the manor characters to convey the hierarchical nature of the CD "family"

Of course, adding dialogue is rather tedious in the editor, so it's obviously understandable if you want to focus on flashier content like the very impressive scripted / animated scenes. I just figured I'd offer since I think kinky dialogue can go a long way while being relatively easy to implement.

Some trivial issues I've seen with the manor.

 

The wall near the barracks doesn't have an end and is see-trough. End piece may have been deleted on accident.

There is a hole under the stairs leading to the first floor in the manor. Around that area, some wall aren't properly set together and the outside blue can be seen. Those walls are a pain in the ass to line up. In case you are wondering the side columns, back panel, top panel and bottom panel are separate items.

As a way to counter the issue of the hole, I'd suggest to put the manor into a dark cell. Or to double the walls like it is done elsewhere in skyrim, to create a base shape with plain rock texture then adds some decorations? I have also seen some texture fighting each other to be seen by the player, which give a feeling of flickering...

 

The different decorations also have a problem with the physics engine: They are static items but not all static items are made to stay in place. It isn't something I can fix as I have already set them to ignore the physics but the models themselves are set so they can move.

  • The plates on the table gets out of place
  • The plates fused with cheese around the entry get upside down and merge with the table
  • The cooked ox in the kitchen isn't eatable
  • The ebony shield in one of the room drops on the floor. I assume it has to go on the rack, but it requires weapons to work.

I'm reporting this because it triggers an issue I have that, when I see a book on the floor I try to put it back where it belongs. And I fail, because havok. The manor becomes a mess and I feel like a failure as a maid.

Idea for a task: resident x lost some items, you have to search the manor and find them. The items can be hidden in containers or in plain sight. But no quest marker for this one, which may need a strong narrative to guide the player guessing where the items might be.

Also is there a way to test customer service 1? Customer Assist 01 should start once you reach a rank of 12 with Master, then Tavish may start arriving in the VIP house. If he shows up there is no guarantee that it will work, I have been having issues with it as have other people.

Just to clarify: it looks like the Captured Dreams.esp simply targets the gag meshes/textures from DD Assets / Expansion, and indeed: all color/material variations of the other gags (ring, ball, simple, etc.) work as intended for both CD and DD items. What's odd is that the Panel gags display correctly when equipping the basic DD versions, so I'm not sure what's causing the hiccup with the CD versions. That said, if it's all working on your end, I'll just assume I broke something somewhere.

In 4.07 version some translation files are in UCS-2 BE instead of LE encoding, so there is only tags like $CDS_PLAYERINFO in MCM Menu.

I made some adjustments to the MCM menu but I have no clue about the coding on it (though in my menu everything looks fine). I will have CGi look them over.

I do, there is no way to have been able to make that space otherwise but moving around within the space in the CK is a pain and some parts require a very small unit of measurement to line up.

If the player gets near to a wall, the camera can peer outside of the place. since the walls bear no width. That way, I started to saw some light rendered outside the manor... Those light were candle lights still being rendered.

 

Anyhow, by enveloping the manor in a black cell you could just not care about sealing the textures together since no light would be seen through the interstices.

 

Edit: I, of course, know nothing about building stuff in CK.

It's a glitch in CK. Two things you can try.

  1. To make them line up correctly you have to select the piece you want to align, then 'Shift Q' and click on the piece you want it aligned to (base piece). You'll know the 'Shift Q' worked when the mouse turns into a crosshair when you move it over the other piece. It works 90% of the time. Also don't forget to snap the angle as well.
  2. Sometimes you have to start the alignment from scratch. Select the 'base piece' and edit the rotation coordinates to 0.00. Then move it into place and snap all other pieces to it like in 1 above.  

As far as moving around in CK... yea not the greatest interface, but Shift, Spacebar and Zoom are your friends.

But I don't understand I have Dll the two links the V05 and the V4.07

Furthemore, I try to take one mission : "Deliver a Package" and I dont take the misson, because the master tell "sorry, no without my belt" and, I have her Belt... I have one message : Belt code 9. I don't understand...

 

After one dialogue :

Other error : "Stop Moving around. << May repeat>

And I dont have acces or other mission (free trial and other)

 

After one fail mission, the master punish me, yep but one another bug (I'm not lucky)  I remain attached and there no action of none go out.

The alignment only works when the items have the same center marking, generally the columns do not have ones that align with walls which this is likely from.

 

I know how to move around in the CK, it is just the worst interface I have worked with in a 3d environment.

Have you enabled them in the MCM menu? Also, the special tasks are not available whenever you decide to do them, you will be notified when they are available.

Looking at it, the opening is a hole in the staircase model. The staircase is 1 single item from the first through 3rd floor and the hole looks into Rayani's room. The reason you cans see into her room is the column on the other side is a half column and has no back to it.

For me the free trial works fine. However, I have troubles with the punishment quest. If after the delivery I am rude to the master, messages pop up that punishment starts, but then, player stands disabled and frozen. What should I do? Thanks in advance.

Post a log of when this happens and what the message is exactly so I can find where it stopped and if there is a script issue. 

 

The same goes for anyone else reporting issues, I need to know exactly what is going on or being said along with a log. I can't pin down issues without more specific information.

I dont have a log for the punishment issue as i'm currently butchering my mod list in order to try to get a more stable platform for CD. I can confirm from recent experiences that two on screen messages appear before punishment scenes. "Player is to be Punished" and "Punishment Start". The Master then walks away (as in, goes into sandbox mode, not in the direction of the punishment area) and my player is rooted to the spot. So the mod is taking control of the character but that's where it hangs. Using the scartscene xx12ED7A usually persuades it to resume and the scene plays out normally. I'll upload a log if it's still needed once i'm done reorganising.  :P

Please point me to where I can see how to create a log, and which log?. But in my case it is in exactly at the same place as for Teddar. Message appears that Punishment Started and then controls disabled and nothing. After that the master should say something to which you answer do I really need to be punished or something, but she never says that.

The logs are found in C:\Users\*your user name*\Documents\My Games\Skyrim\Logs

and the latest log have a 0 at the end of it, to start logging in skyrim you need to edit your skyrim.ini and paste this

bEnableLogging=1

bEnableTrace=1

 

However if you use MO you need to click on tools and then on ini editor to find the skyrim.ini file.. MO have its own.. and if you use NMM then im not sure.. might use the default one in the \Documents\My Games\Skyrim\Logs

 

when done with the debug you should disable that again by changing the 1's to 0's

Just a thought: instead of using a task based system in the manor, why not using a point based system?

 

I explain: the player has a pool of point that is always dwindling. The player can do various tasks to gain point, by working in the manor or for different actor in the manor (given the actual privileges of the player). If the pool gets empty, punishment time.

This enable more freedom for the player and the creator as it removes the time constrain. For example, the player could choose to craft some food and give it during eating time. That would require the player to coordinate with the game time and be there when needed. Once the deed done, the player would go to the manor's butler and receive points.

 

This kind of system would still require the player to register the wanted tasks as quests though. So a "give master food" quest could be valid until the player gives food to the current master.

 

This system is the closest possible of the base gameplay of skyrim: the player is free to do whatever he or she wants. The only limitations are the available tasks and place, as the player's been sandboxed.

 

Of course, some task could be to "assist the master during some bdsm session" or whatever. So the character would willingly submit to sm plays for the pleasure of the masters (which is all that count).

For some reason the download isn't working for v4-05 :( I've tried using 3 different browsers but the download keeps failing.

Is there any chance someone could post a new link?

EDIT: I can download the 4.07 update perfectly fine, it's just the main file that refuses.
