hello

 

i report you some problem in the 4.07

- the quest with Mr tavish don't work : the master tell me for help, if y accept tavish is not here and if i decline, my pc stay blocked

-If i accept to became a slave before the elisif's quest, it work, if i accept before mc go away (outside the manor and far in the road)

-the master don't sell item (exept protector) - i'have an excellent reputation

Trying to open Captured_Dreams_V4-05.7Z with Skyrim Mod Organizer returns "Error: extracting failed (9)".  I tried uncompressing and recompressing with 7zip and that did not change it.  I don't have winrar or winzip on this machine so I haven't tried those yet.  Any solution?

Try redownloading the 7z. It's probably a corrupt download. That or you might try running Mod Organizer as admin. If that doesn't work try making sure MO isn't attempting to overwrite files already there.. might be leftovers that MO doesn't like. If that isn't it, Windows probably locked some files after deleting and you need to restart your entire computer to fix that.

BAD EDITOR ID

 

Hey, I was trying out this mod but I stumbled upon this weird bug/glitch. I tried to equip the plugs (anal and vaginal) but it's not working. Like there's no message informing that the item is equipped and it's not even visible. So I tried the console code, player.showinventory while the plugs were equipped and it showed "BAD EDITOR ID" with arrows and below it, the plugs were mentioned.

 

I have tried all the plug and none are working, but rest of the devices are working fine. I've tried reinstalling all the devious devices related mods and started a new game but no luck.

 

If anyone knows how I can fix this please help...?

Are any of you familiar with what would cause all dialogue to halt after I wake up after choosing the "I'm a lowly slave" path at the beginning of the mod. It says "Looks like she's waking up", and then I just stand there for minutes on end unable to move and the dialogue doesn't continue.

Just so I know, what is the following variable:  help CDxSlaveRole

Setstage CDxSlavery_Player 25   will advance it but you will miss some dialogue or if the variable above is not 1-4 use   set CDxSlaveRole to x   and load from a position just before the move to the mine.

I there a command to play a special quest (the solitude one specifically) again. The setting in the mod menu doesn't work for me. Even I I try it from a clean save. 

 

If you are trying to play the quest again you can't, it is a one time quest. To play it again you would have to go back to a save before you did the quest.

There are multiple issues with the quest which currently are not high on my list of things to fix as I am looking to rebuild the quest sometime soon anyway.

I am not clear on what the issue is here on this.

Does the dialogue just not show up or is something else happening as Confiscation may be starting up

It has already been reported and is fixed for the next release.

I have seen the Bad Editor ID error before (quite a bit actually and not just from DD items). If plugs are not equipping then it is an issue with Integration or another mod is interfering with them, there are some mods that make changes to them.

Been a long time fan of this mod, probably my favorite mod ever. However, I have encountered a game breaking bug that is preventing me from progressing. Upon returning to captured dreams (from a recover a delivery, deliver a package, collect ingots from the slave plot, etc...) My game instantly crashes. If I fast travel to the store, the game crashes, if I travel there on foot, it still crashes as I approach (usually over the bridge from half moon mill. All the mod dependencies are up to date. Any Idea what's going on? Thanks!!

v4.07  I don't know how much is Skyrim being Skyrim vs bugs vs unfinished content.

 

Free Trial + Protector Plus Items-

Odd (placeholder?) dialog. During the free trial master insisted on using the protector plus belt on my virgin character without an option to refuse. Then after saying multiple times that she would not remove the protector plus belt (short of my character getting married), at the end of the free trial, she will remove it along with the rest of the free trial gear if you want.

Asking for relief from the dialog option about the free trial has her refuse, but asking via the dialog about the protector plus belt she agrees.

 

A Date with a Jarl-

Dialog out of order?  Elisif worries about permanently wearing the gear before you tell her the gear may be permanent.

Quest doesn't end properly.  After getting her signature and bringing it back to master the quest didn't really end.  I had to go back to solitude and disable player controls.  My character then walked to Elisif and ending scene with her repeated, leaving me with a second copy of her signature.

The package I delivered to her was still in my inventory after the quest ended as well.

 

To Fetch a Slave-

The Dialog was a bit out of sync with my actions during the search in Windhelm:

  I asked a guard patrolling Grey Quarter and he tells me to ask someone in Grey Quarter.

  I asked the bartender in New Gnisis Cornerclub and he tells me to ask someone at New Gnisis Cornerclub.

I know the mod is aimed at low level characters, but the lack of an option to try to bribe/persuade/intimidate the orc guard kinda stood out.

Hey! Sorry to bother you, I've been poking around in creation kit thinking of creating my own mod, and been looking at how CDxFreeTrial is set up..
 

From what I understand.. Lets say Stage 75 Starts scene *part2* Which runs through the scene of equipping a collar on the player.. Phase 3 of the scene ends with cdxft.setstage(80) which starts stage 80 of the free trial

From what I can see though Stage 80 Is totally blank with nothing to trigger the next stage..

Just want to know..

 

Am i correct in thinking that phase 3, Master action 4 inside CDxFT_Part2, uses the public package data topic "CDxFT_Leadinpt03_01"  which when finished sets stage 100 to begin scene part 3?
 

Pretty sure this is correct just need confirmation haha!

I love how your mod handles conversations between the npcs and the player during *cutscenes* and would like to mimic it in my own mod, Thanks for any help you're willing to give :)

CDxSlaveRole is 4.0 after the halt in dialogue. Also Setstage CDxSlavery_Player 25 does nothing... literally nothing. Is there a level check? I am level 1 when I got into the place. lol.

If you were able to get to it before and can't now then something happened during your game. Post a log of you traveling from Falkreath to the shop so I have something to look at (no fast travel either).

Is there a way to remove Protector Plus items put on by spouse? Chaste Life option isn't ticked.

 

Remove Quest Devices option in the MCM menu will remove them.

Vel, just checking in to say thanks.  I only recently tried version 4 as it wouldn't load with my old version of NMM.  Finally updated that, took a few hours but went off without a hitch, even reloading all my mods in the correct order.  Anyway I am finally playing the latest version of Captured Dreams and so far, so good.

 

One of the details I wanted to comment on is how nice the lighting is inside the shop.  I'm a geek for stuff like that and you did a superb job.  Looking forward to the mod, only ran two jobs for Master so far and am very early on in my playthrough.

I will have to look into this, the Free Trial should be disabled once Chaste Life starts

Possibly, the dialogue loops quite a bit in it.

End scene likely didn't register as finished the first time.

Dialogue conditions were set by race, I will have to add a line that it would use if you are in the bar.

I know the mod is aimed at low level characters, but the lack of an option to try to bribe/persuade/intimidate the orc guard kinda stood out.

She is his very loyal bodyguard just as Herran is to Master.

The blank stages are part of the system I use to ensure that a force greet ends as it should. The scene set the stage to a blank stage which should tell it that the stage has ended scene wise. The dialogue sets the stage to the next stage where something happens. The scene technically does not end until the dialogue ends so by having the ending of both do something scriptwise as their final act it should ensure that the forcegreet does not repeat. There are some instances where this is not possible (property slave move to the barracks/smithy as there are no quest stages) so you have to get it to do something else, usually I will have the npc who initiated the dialogue do a 'reset' by going and doing something, usually just go to a position then they are free to do whatever (this is what I use in property slave, it usually works but sometimes not).

Hi!  I'm stuck after retrieving the "package" from the lighthouse.  Had the end-of-scene problem after the Master saw who it was, eventually found the fix to wait an hour.  Harran (or whatever his name is) brought me back to the barracks and said "wait for me here" but never comes back, and I if I go back to the smithy, the Master is there to give me that mission again.  Which I tried to do once, deciding I'd just cheat to get it over with quicker, but the other actors of the first scene at the lighthouse aren't there to participate so nothing happens and I'm stuck.  Thats not surprising though. 

 

What I'm really looking for is the setstage command to force the next quest to start.  :)

 

I should add that I also had a bug with trying to choose the other path of wanting to work to my freedom, a belt would never be equipped.  I suspect that it was because of my heavy load of mods so I just chose the other path instead to see how that went.  I selected harness as my preferred form of belt in the MCM but I got a belt anyway, but maybe there isn't a choice when you're property.  ;)

Depending on the time of day, usually towards early evening, he will not return until the next morning.

 

What I'm really looking for is the setstage command to force the next quest to start.  :)

You will need to do the following to get it to continue:

1- Use sqv CDxSlavery_Player and get Herran's ID, use PRID <ID> then Moveto Player

2- Disable your controls

3- If you are lucky the scene will start itself, if not then use startscene xx1936da which will start the scene to move you (xx in the ID is the load position of the mod, it will be the same as the first 2 digits of Herran's ID).

As a Property Slave you have no choice in what devices are put on you, once you make it to Relationship Slave you get a choice.

Bug report - started a fresh playthrough, get myself indebted to Master, then took a delivery job and lost it to bandits.

On return she starts punishment scenario, a message appears and player controls are revoked - but then nothing happens.

A dialogue is supposed to happen where she "convinces" player that a punishment is necessary, but nothing happens - she walks away.

So I enable controls but can't seem to return to the punishment.

So all I can do is take another job - this time to retrieve delivery - and fail it immediately.

This time punishment works as expected.

 

I tried waiting, leaving, etc, nothing changed for the first, botched, punishment.

Noticed another thing - when Master equips devices on player after whipping, I get the harness, then a bunch of stuff, then a message that multiple harnesses can't be equipped simultaneously.

Nothing was equipped during punishment.

I suppose there's still some confusion in the code between harnesses, belts and collars.

 

P.S. A collar was equipped too, so the second harness wasn't equipped as a "collar"... maybe, lol.

On the other hand, shouldn't collar have interfered with first harness?

 

P.P.S. I have Cursed Loot and Prison Overhaul installed, but nothing else that adds items.

So there I am, with the harness on, still trying to piss Master off.

Next thing I know, she's punishing me again - but this time, right after Herran removes all my DD, they come back in a second.
After that she's giving me more devices - this time, a belt. CD belt on top of white locking ebonite slave harness she gave me earlier.

OK, whatever, fine by me. But after that I can't take another quest - she took off the belt as "not secure enough" but not harness. Now she tries to equip a new belt, and it all ends in "stop moving around".

 

Repeated attempts - the same, she does not detect harness as belt, says "Since you're not in a belt this won't take long", and here we go back to "stop moving around".

 

At this point I try the menu "fixes": removing quest devices, set/reset quest device array, resetting item lists (this one does not change to "Working" unlike others, by the way), and that doesn't do a thing to fix the issue.

 

Also, at this point, I have a dozen or two of DD items in my inventory, all given by this mod.

 

 

So here's a suggestion - try doing it my way, start a new playthrough, and try to piss her off; I think pretty soon you'll hit the same issues all ready for QA.

In fact, I've run into these on my main and did all this just to confirm it's not "savegame bloat", runaway scripts or what have you.

What worked for me here: loading an earlier save (still got devices on but not stuck in "stop moving around" loop yet), and using DDe to remove all items.

Will see how long it lasts, cause I'm still on my quest to piss Master off.

Sure enough, I find more.

This time I'm sporting CD Harness - Black Leather, and making a delivery to some village in the middle of nowhere.

Bandits don't show up but I know what to do - just wait a week, heee heee.

Customer gives me a gag and sends me back.

 

Master takes off the gag and wants to punish me; same as on the first delivery, messages "Player needs to be punished" and "Punishment start" appear, but Master just walks off, dialogue ends, player controls are locked.

 

Basically, punishment after making a delivery doesn't happen.

If you think that's all, you're wrong.

 

First time in this playthrough I decide to view Master's inventory for sale.

Confiscation kicks in. She puts in a stray plug I had in my inventory, and lets me go.

I take a delivery retrieval job, and on a hunch, ask to see shop inventory again. Again, Confiscation kicks in.

And now we're stuck in <<May repeat>> loop.

 

Even though nothing changed from the first inventory check other then her putting that plug in (through the harness).

No other DD items in my inventory.

 

I try to "Remove Quest items". No more DD items in my inventory at all but Master still stuck repeating the search.

Resetting lists both variations didn't help either.

 

So I quicksave and load the savegame in a cleaner. I terminate active threads (5), no unattached threads found.

Still no fix.

 

Disabling confiscation at this point just makes her say "Hold on a moment" and drop out of dialogue entirely.

Reload, "setstage cdxconfiscation 500", disable confiscation -> same.

 

Basically, shop is no longer accessible and I have no idea how I broke it (other then having confiscation enabled in the first place).

I wrote a lot here; believe me I only bother because I love this mod and desperately try to make it work for me.

But on every playthrough it eventually becomes unstable, prompting me to re-start only to hit the same issues many hours later.

 

These two things bug out consistently for me: shop access after Confiscation, and Elisif questline.

Punishment after failing to make a delivery / being late on delivery is new for me but, I rarely try to piss Master off.

The harness/belt/collar? interference may not even be your bug, but I did see it before. At least there's a workaround, if unimmersive.

I'm willing to play-test any scenario with any set of mods, get logs or try any beta build if you need more feedback.
