Here's a possible workaround, albeit clumsy

For the issue of having no ref for the erani quest and retain Erani's slave functionality

 

1.) complete the quest, to fetch a slave, this will render player ref to null, breaking the quest --> bug with mods,

2.) on MCM, reset Erani main quest, her controller will be reset, but it fills up player ref to 00000014

3.) Wait for a while and on MCM, reset Erani's alias so that it populates Erani's alias on quest parameters

4.) go to the console, type setpqv cdxdiaerani Assignedplayer_var 1 --> which will enable the "Erani" dialogue menu

5.) Move Erani to player under MCM slave options

 

You now have the ability to set Erani's assignment, restraint options and wait pose options her sandboxing and following functions

Works even with save/load

 

But the option to return her to the manor cannot be completed now, as the dialogue options for the Master is gone

Thanks for the reply, I did the setpqvar to force feed the quest and get Erani. Did research on this. But

I completed the quest fair and square, had to complete 10 delivery quest to get the courier going

 

PS: I don't have scripting experience whatsoever, I'm a gamer, not a modder, so it took some time to figure it out

 

Reset the Framework in the MCM menu, it should reset things though you will have to set some stats again.

There are no errors, it is either it is not getting to the end of the cycle or there is a conflict with a variable set at some point.

 

Use both setstage to 100 and shut down confiscation. This will reset the timer and the quest but it will remove any unused items it found.

 

 

Seemed to do the trick, I did setstage 500 first followed by 100. As soon as I did that some messages stated a few items were removed, I checked my inventory and the same items were still in there (duplicate instances then?), I was then able to trade with the Master again.

 

It was just a quick test, didn't check for a Confiscation event to show up and work yet.

It probably never finished checking the items then. Confiscation is another one of the quests I want to rebuild, originally I was going to disable it for v4 until I could but my testers requested that I didn't.

Yes please!  Even something as simple as (StorageUtil.GetIntValue(Game.GetPlayer(), "CDSQuestSceneInProgress") would be incredibly useful.  Just flag that anytime the player isn't supposed to have control, or when other scenes or animations would break yours.  (Example: when the player is running on an AI package to walk to a specific location.)

I went to the lighthouse to recover the package (Alessia), only met with one hunter in Rorikstead. Obviously, I killed him before he was able to greet me. Then went back to the manor.

 

That's when the problems starts. In the manor basement, at the end of the scene, Master ask herran to bring the player back the barracks. There is a fade to black. And when the screen come back nothing changed place. Everybody is frozen in place.

 

I reloaded, but the outcome was the same. The virgin variable is still 0, for some reason.

Did I miss a flag? Should have I met with every hunter?

 

Disabling then enabling the player controls seems to have fixed the issue though. I am now a manor slave, with one little problem: Markus keeps force greeting me to explain the starters... I moved him to Herran, that'll teach him. Saved and closed the game, which wasn't a good idea: I don't know if Markus will come back.

 

 

 

Side note: During the property slave quest line, there is no access to water. The well doesn't give any water. Thus, the only way I found to not die of thirst was to spawn some water bottles in my inventory. I can't get to a river, since it counts as escaping. There seems to be enough food laying around though.

 

I hope I'll have access to food and water in the manor.

 

 

Edit: Got some errors too, after getting to the manor part.

I've been using this  mod for a few weeks now and I must say I absolutely love it (tho I haven't done everything in it yet).

 

One thing I was wondering is that I never got any of the "assist customer" tasks. I mainly played as a non slave. Do I need to be a slave for one of them to happen or am I missing something? (the VIP manor has been built for quite some time)

Also, i just chose to try the property slave part.

 

The hay pile is listed as owned and the food barrel i can only steal from

 

I also wasn't given a pickax to mine the ores. I used the console to give me one and when i did mine the ores the amount for the quota did not go down.

(EDIT) never mind on the quota going down, all of the barrels are listed as STEAL but after i put it in the one next to ramp it went down the following day. 

 

 

Thanks for the quick response and the very awesome mod. You have put a lot of time and work into it.

 

Restart it, the slave start did not begin properly. If it does it again upload a log for me. 

 

Okay I restarted it. but i am just left tied on the cross and nothing happens. the Npc's go on with their routine and i am never let off the cross.

 

I will get you a log sometime later tomorrow after work. It seems like it just never initialized to start the slave labor portion of that quest.

I started a new game with my PC starting as a property slave.  She was assigned to mine orichalcum ingots.  It seems that no amount of ingots will satisfy the foreman.  I have restarted this mod so many times that I usually use the console to add the ingots, so I can continue to see how the mod works.

 

Is there some other requirement to satisfy the foreman besides the number of ingots that you mine?   I even added 10,000 ingots through the console, and the PC still fell short of her quota.

It should be 150 ingots a day and to get into favour with them I believe you need to get double a days requirement (so 300 total). It always worked for me that way at least, I even started consoling myself 450 ingots when I wanted to speed through it and test the later parts of the enslavement.

There are food barrels that respawn each day in the mine (2 of them actually, 1 above the cage and 1 in the cage). The barracks may have one but I am not sure. I will see about adding one to the Manor though.

This concerns the slave and is likely to replace items on her, at this point it isn't important and won't affect anything else.

See if the following scene is still playing:  issceneplaying xx1941d2  if so use stopscene <id> to end it. The fact that the next scene can't run may be a sign of other issues in your game though.

The scene it is trying to play is a reset scene for him and is part of the ending script in the dialogue. It is supposed to help stop the force greet but it isn't recognizing the scene.

You have to have a minimum rank of 12 with the Master I believe before she will give that task to you.

Just to be sure, are you putting the ingots in the barrel at the bottom of the ramp? They are not checked otherwise.

The Mine Overseer should be the one that finishes out the scene with you, is he there?

Yes, I am aware of the food barrels in the mines and was not precise enough in my description, my apologies. I meant to say that while doing work as a smithy, there was no access to water other than the items available on the different furnitures. I haven't found any respawning barrels in the barracks, only a fish barrel.

Do you know of any way to make him stop the force greet? As it is now, I am unable to proceed since Markus will just come back to my character to say "Hello, welcome in the manor. Here are some clothes.". I checked, I have 40 maid outfits in that dresser :P

 

Would a disable/enabled do the trick? Or a kill/resurrect maybe? Moving him away just makes him more determinate.

hello i have a problem,

in the free trial quest right after master puts on the belt the conversation stops and she just stands there, and i cant move

Apparently, if your character is a virgin that'll keep the scene from moving further.

 

Once stuck in there, verify that your quest stage is 50 using: sqv CDxFreeTrial

Then, change the stage to 75: setstage CDxFreeTrial 75

 

Or do some sexing and come back.

Can't believe that i am doing this , but i am throwing : never quit , never surrender out the windows as i type.

I started playing captured dreams when 3.84 was out and i enjoyed it so much that i couldn't wait for the update.

Now that i have it and bummed around within it , i find that i can't seem to fix the problems that i am having.

My biggest problem thus far is that scene's keep stopping or looping and its preventing me from progressing.

Problem 1 is that in free trial , the belt goes on and the scene stops. Now Bicobus says that it is virgin related , i'll try his suggestion for that.

Problem 2 is that , yes my char is a virgin and following that scene , my character doesn't get chained up and the master loops when saying something about adjusting something.

Problem 3 , not being a virgin , i get to assist customer 1&2. In 1 the customer gets introduced and stands there gazing awkwardly. 

In customer assist 2 , i know that something is supposed to happen but doesn't , its again a loop , but i don't remember where. 

Problem 4 , i once got to the point , where i think that the master will suggest becoming a slave , but i'm not sure as the scene just  stops after hearing her say something along the lines of we need to talk.

So i've been doing some looking around and i find that my mod manager keeps telling me that the assets mod i use is version 2.9.0. Eventhough i just downloaded the latest version.

In LOOT , however , it says that it is version 2.8.3. So yea , no idea what is going on there. 

Intigration seems to be suffering the same problem. So tell me this , is the version on LL right now version 3.2? because a fresh download right now appears to be version 3.1 in mod manager. 

Expansion , however , is shown right as version 1.2.3.

Normally i can just ignore it and keep doing the delivery quests , but now the master is saying that she notices me looking at the girls. The free trial appears to have expired , if thats even possible , so i don't want to lose this opportunity to go down that path. Character story buildup and such. 

Oh right , almost forgot , zaz is up to date as per requirements.

I have also switched between arousal and redux. no help there either.

Based on master files , my load order is AOK. Of that i am at least 100% sure. 

Any help that anyone can offer will be greatly appreciated.

Dialogue looping is generally due to something keeping the dialogue from ending as it should or keeping Skyrim from thinking it has ended. Mods that constantly check the player, especially other slavery mods can interfere.

There are multiple endings in that scene and there is an issue with the conditions, this has been corrected for the next release.

Are you still at the end with the slaves or have you moved to the other end of the shop? Either way I need more info on what exactly is happening.

In customer assist 2 , i know that something is supposed to happen but doesn't , its again a loop , but i don't remember where. 

Customer Assist 1 has issues with freezing, does it in my game and I have not found the cause yet.

That should be the start of Property Slave I believe. It starts the quest at that point so if there is an issue I will need a log from a session when it freezes to see what is going on in your game.

If you want to ensure it stays on make sure your Disposition (sub/dom) is as low as possible.

DDi is version 3.2, I believe they forgot to bump a version. That happens sometimes, especially with DDa! It's fomod is still reading version 2.9.0 and it's ESP is 2.8.3 yet the archive is tagged as 2.9.2. As long as you downloaded the latest version, you're fine. In double redownload and reinstall.

So first day in the manor, armed of my Broom "dust obliterator 2000", I swiped and swiped. Thanks the divines there is a quest marker for each dust pile, otherwise I would have gone crazy. Then I went to get wood. I reported to Markus and he directly assigned me another task (I expected to be able to chose if I wanted one or not). Getting the water from the well is really hard, because I either don't have enough jars or the barrel doesn't fill quickly enough. Anyhow, I failed to finish that task and reported to markus after 8pm.

 

He wasn't happy, but all he did was saying so and send me to my room... Isn't there supposed to be punishment in case of failing a task?

 

The next day, I got the water task again and I was pleased to see that the status of the barrel didn't change from yesterday. I also still had the previous jars, because I hadn't do a report to the cook. Armed with 4 jars the water task went quicker, especially since the barrel was filled at 3/4.

 

Which leads my suggestion: could it be possible to have task allowed to overlap days? As in, you have task that needs to be done daily, but other that can be reported without too much trouble. Especially for a bonus task: make it count for a regular task of the tomorrow and/or give a huge bonus if it was done the same day it was given. A hard task that spend 2 days. Well, I don't know, you seem to understand this reward mechanic better than I do.

 

The smithy questline

Honestly, it felt a bit monotonous. I don't know if I missed some part, but all I did was craft rough plugs and belts. It feels like a missed opportunity, has this questline could be used to teach the player how to craft some devious devices but progressively (and without a choice in the matter). More objects to craft, with the possibility to get to an end product of CD quality. And why not enchantments? Then later, for a (relatively) free player, having the opportunity to work in the smithy as you can work in the mine: to make money.

 

The smithy also seems like the easiest of the 3 locations: as long as you have iron ingots you can work. And you can work fast, since it's a user interface thing and you have little interaction with the world as opposed to the ores in the mine.

 

It's fine as it is, yet I feel to could be better.

 

Anyhow, I'm going back to the manor, I have chores to do.

Punishments happen the next day if you have more demerits than positive points (don't do anything or fail to complete both of the initial tasks and you will be punished)

It would be difficult to implement with the mechanic I am using.

It is possible to expand on this, I am looking to make some changes to parts of the Property Slave at some point.

The hardest part of the smithy is the first few days if you have a low smithing skill, it can be very difficult to get the quota if it is low.

Overall, I didn't want the questline to be impossible, just take time for the most part. It lets you be a good slave, bad slave or just average.

I started a new game with my PC starting as a property slave.  She was assigned to mine orichalcum ingots.  It seems that no amount of ingots will satisfy the foreman.  I have restarted this mod so many times that I usually use the console to add the ingots, so I can continue to see how the mod works.

 

Is there some other requirement to satisfy the foreman besides the number of ingots that you mine?   I even added 10,000 ingots through the console, and the PC still fell short of her quota.

 

It's not the ingots that you need, it's ore. 0005acdd. And you aren't forgetting to put them into the barrel before 8pm, are you?

Also, there's a ledger near the exit where you can check how many you collected (and verified by overseer) and how many you need.

hello i have a problem,

in the free trial quest right after master puts on the belt the conversation stops and she just stands there, and i cant move

 

I also seem to have this problem, I ll try out the suggestion from the other guy to see if not being a virgin helps :)

 

Also! I was thinking, would it be possible (if it's not to much work ofcourse), to have an option that when you do your first delivery and haven't done the free trial, that you get an option to decline the delivery by saying that you wouldn't like to be belted (just as a RPG suggestion).

Also on the other side of the scale, for the more submissive players an option to ask to keep the current belt on, because you love it and that master then picks a random amount of days before being allowed free again (like 1 / 7 days?).

 

I also noticed an oddity, if you're in the free trial period, does it count hours / days from quick travel as well or only 'real time' hours?

Since I basicly make a mental note of '' okay its now the first of xxx, so when its the 7th ~ 8th day i can come back to get free " tho this doesn't seem accurate at all, to the point where it's sometimes an entire week if not more extra! (Now mind you, I don't mind :angel: , but it seems a lil dishonoust of master).

 

Also for the Free Trial, I kinda think if you're asking to be released before your time is due and you complain more than once a day you should get an extra day belted ;) (especially if you respond with, but im hoooorny :P ).

So am i the only one who still has a bug when choosing freedom? PC just stands their after screen to black and nothing.

 

The fadeout should only last a few seconds like the rest of them, I have 3 of them that are just minor variations of each other. It should move you to your room in the Manor where you started and returned your things.
