Would it be possible to have the player sort of become a resident of the Shop?  I mean, we're doing errands, getting punished, and being bound by the Mistress.  It would really add some immersion and convenience to be able to sleep in the shop and maybe store a few items there as well.

 

Perhaps a hay-bed in a spare cage in the basement? ^_^

I do plan on having the player be allowed to become a slave to the Master but that is a little ways off still. By the time that it happens there will be additional buildings and things will be rather different. I am working on a few small scenes and quests to round things out a bit and do some set up for later things, after that is the expansion of the grounds and some more quests. Once that is done it is on the enslaving the player.

You can (at least works for me) already sleep in one of the beds in the shop :)

yes, but that mean you have to pick the shop entrance.

 

and I dont know, but sleeping in the cage has, how to say, a certain charm :D

It is looking for a script that was changed (name was one of the things changed). Extract this into the Data folder: attachicon.gifdxmp01end02.zip

This didn't work for me.

 

btw, a clean uninstall/resintall would have solved your problem, since that script is only needed by code from 2.4

This (deleting all files in the mod and re-installing everything) solved it. I guess I screwed up the deletion of the previous version somewhere.

The package delivery dialogue doesn't seem to be appearing for Fruki in Dawnstar.

 

I checked through things in the CK and everything is as it should be. There are 3 things that it looks at when you go to talk to a customer: CDxDeliveryJob Stage (Fruki is 42), CDxDeliveryController is at stage 50 and then the Alias Reference for the customer (Fruki is CDCustomer02).

Well, that would explain it. CDxDeliveryJob is at stage 60. I did one delivery earlier, Mathies in Falkreath that still shows up in the quest log as completed objective for the delivery quest.

 

I did run into something similar myself earlier, that setting quest stages back to a lower one didn't work. Though I haven't looked into actual quests that much, so I don't know if/how it is done :P

Got same thing - first delivery goes fine then on next one there was no dialouge option while talking to the client. Also thiefts were nowhere to be found when i was attempting that another delivery, but dunno - maybe thats intended.

 

From what i've seen in CK quest should reset (go back to earlier stage) when you return to master after delivery. I do remember seeing that the delivery quest was active in my log after i returned to the master (with description i have returned and was  released from the belt).

So it may be that it doesnt reset properly.

Setstage CDxErrandController 500 should reset the quest entirely. If it doesn't, upload a papyrus log and tell me what stages are still active: sqs CDxDeliveryJob

 

The thieves should be there on every delivery. I did move them to a bit better position though, you should still run into them.

that sounds like you still have old scripts running as these are symptoms of earlier version.

 

did you do a clean install of the mod ?

I love this mod but there is one problem I have noticed. When you get certain devices equipped (like the gag), the master will recognize you as a slave, but not her slave. There really needs to be something identifying you as her slave and maybe a hint from an npc as to how to get it off. Or something more devious, the master could order you to go somewhere and do something humiliating (maybe just be seen in public with the gear on or servicing a customer).

The other thing I noticed is when you take the submissive route, one of the orc women says, "you are a true submissive now." But that seems to be all. I'm not sure what you have planned for that point, but an idea (if you're open to it) would be for the player to be transferred to the master's estate, used in the shop (maybe some dialogue, a fade out, and time passed), or sold to a customer.

The same Orc girl would give you the line "master is loyal to us as we are to her". So in that light selling PC to anyone is not an option.

But the shop should have music or something. its so quiet i feel like my speakers aren't working lol.

also perhaps make the store a little more secretive?

As of yet I don't have anything identifying the player as the Master's slave, just that you are one. As I have said before, it will be probably the 3rd content release that will have that and there is much to do before then. I am currently working on adding some scenes and quests along with a few other things (not saying what, I want them to be a surprise). After that is the expansion of the store to the surrounding area with additional buildings (Master needs her comfort after all). After that is the Players chance to serve the Master, beyond that I have some general ideas of where to go, mostly story content with large quests.

Just a idea, can't you add the player to something like a "CDmasters_slave" faction? If my tutorial recollection is correct you can be part of multiple vanilla and custom factions at once without ruining the game. Then make some script if-statements like if player member of x then y. You could do something like the level of "subness" so 0 is very dominant and 100 is very submissive. So you got CDmasters_slave0, CDmasters_slave25......CDmasters_slave100. 

 

The vanilla game uses the factions to determine the reaction of NPC's so that's worth looking into.

Originally the stats that track how much they like you and your submissive / dominant tendencies were factions. For whatever reason some of the changes that would happen didn't work reliably so I had to change it. I would have rather kept the faction system especially since in the end I had to change conditions on about 100 - 150 pieces of dialogue. There are still several factions in place, 1 for each npc type (Master, Assistant, Smith, Guard and Slave) plus several others.

I know you're busy Veladarius, and I greatly appreciate the time and effort you've put into this, but I have one small request, if you please? Could we have some content added for those of us who prefer to play  a more dominant role, perhaps buying some slaves off the Master, or maybe training them? I know, everyone has tons of ideas, but this would make a nice addition, I think.

I have been thinking of that, probably once the shop grounds are expanded and I have more room to put them. I have also been thinking of doing an addon for Hearthfire that would allow you to replace some of the more useless items with some of the ZAZ furniture.

Getting CTD's after my stay with the Master. After failing the retireve delivery, Herran lets me out of the cage, we go inside and the Master asks how my stay was. I get equipped with new items then CTD. I'm worried if this might have to do with DDi as I've been having trouble getting submit + devious devices to work as well.

Working on the new content, specifically the scene where you get to assist a customer. Conversations where the player and 2 other people constantly interact is rather hard to do. Thinking about it I don't really remember anyplace where you have a conversation with 2 other people at the same time. Usually they start with the player and one person, the two npc's talk then the 2nd talks to you and thats it, no real interaction between them. Why is it that things that should be easy in the CK are so damn hard?

 

 

Edit: I wrote out the dialogue beforehand to map it out, 8 pages in Word.
