Devious Devices - Captured Dreams Shop v4.15 - files removed

I hope I'm not going too off topic but I like to know learn how to mod so i can make Capture Dream and the other Sexlab and Devious Devices mod Compatible the Requiem mods.

Can someone tell my what tools I'll need to learn and be able to do that? 

 

The Creation Kit and possibly how to make scripts. I don't use Requiem so I am not sure what all it changes.

Requiem change almost everything on the game form spell, the trees, how you level, the npc, the items, ect. It a complete overhaul mod. I put the link to it above it you want to check it out.

 

Where do I get the Creation kit? 

I also been hearing about a program call pipyrum I think. Do I need that too and if show where do I get it?

Looking at Requiem I don't think there is anything in Captured Dreams or most other Devious Devices mods to change. All the items I use are either from A- Vanilla Skyrim, B- Devious Devices or C- other mods. I would not recommend changing any of the items from Devious Devices. The vanilla Skyrim items that are for sale are all taken from standard leveled lists so anything that Requiem changes would still be in effect.

 

 

Papyrus scripting took me a bit to figure out.

If the game doesn't start then you are missing a master somewhere. Use TES5edit or Wrye Bash to find out what is missing.

 

 

If you are working with scripts and using items from another mod (like Integration) you need to have all the loose scripts in your scripts folder for every required mod. Integration requires SKSE, SexLab and Aroused and they are all packed in a BSA or you need to download the loose files (for SKSE).

The only thing that changed between v 2.4 and v 2.5 after the whipping scene there is I made a correction in the command to remove the custom belt and collar, the scene itself was not changed. I am looking into the issue, if anything it may be something with the AI Package is allowing it to be interrupted for some reason.

Is it possible that a quest ending and starting before the transfer is the cause?

 

I've noticed in all my attempts that Devious Devices's Chasity Belt quest ends as soon as CD Chasity Belt is removed, and starts again when the regular chastity belt is placed, all before the transfer would have taken place. Maybe that's the cause of the interruption preventing the mountain transfer?

No, it hasn't been an issue before and things are done in the same order. Try turning off the Masturbate on Belt Removal in the Integration MCM Menu, it is at the bottom of the Events and Effects page as it may be trying to interrupt.

suggestion:

 

could you add a sleepingbag or some other way to sleep just outside the shop? because I often have to wait before the shop crew wake up to be able to trade and quest and so while not trespassing (I know I could pick the lock and wake up the people inside but somehow that has always sounded silly to me, imo people waken during the night by a stranger shouldnt casually talk with him, thats one of the weirdness of skyrim (and previous TES games before it))

 

because, you know, when you sleep outside, anything can happen, like, I dont know, waking up in a cage, or getting used as test subject for that new woodhorse or that experimental paddle ... ;)

about the sleep idea, do you think you could add a pile of hay to the actually unused cage?

mmm, isnt the "Chasity Belt quest" supposed not being triggered anymore by the custom CD belt? at least thats what I think I noticed.

It should be triggered, it does for me. The only other thing I can think of is correcting the script that switches out the belt is triggering something, I will have to check.

It was a fresh new save. I wasn't sure if that would matter.

 

I've dug out the papyrus log on my computer. Is there any way I can send it to you guys? Maybe it might help in figuring out what's going wrong?

first do what Veladarius said about the sqs console command.

 

you can always put the log as attachment or in a "spoiler" tag.

 

personally I have noticed I get much less problem when doing a clean install of the mods when upgrading version (remove the old version, load, save, quit, reload, save, quit, install new version)

Screenshot attached shows I'm at stage 70, which is currently running. It also shows master and the guard going about their daily business, which I'm pretty sure isn't suppose to happen during this stage.

 

As far as I can tell, they replaced all three CD items (binder, belt, collar) for regular items.

 

The papyrus log is also attached.

It is looking for a script that was changed (name was one of the things changed). Extract this into the Data folder: attachicon.gifdxmp01end02.zip

 

btw, a clean uninstall/resintall would have solved your problem, since that script is only needed by code from 2.4
