So recently i decided to download devious devices, sexlab and captured dreams, but there are multiple problems, 1. i got the live a deviant life add on and someone said instead of going to the statue, pick up the collar on the table, idk if that's been removed but then when i select the "i have am a slave and i've escaped my master" and continue on, i go to the bed and sleep, it fades to black once i press e on the bed, after it finishes nothing happens the quest doesn't progress and the game bugs out 

 

2. Whenever i go to the captured dreams shop and talk to "the master" it starts a dialogue and the master says "welcome" and everything else but after she finishes her 2 sentences, it doesn't come up with dialogue options idk if i have installed the mods wrong or what but please help and ask as much questions as possible as idk if i have covered all the problems

1- The collar on the table was from an old version of Live a Deviant Life (very old). I have not used Live a Deviant Life for a while so I am not sure what the issue is. I believe Immerslave has the same sort of options though.

 

2- The first thing to try is the Master Reset options in the MCM menu, it should reset things so her dialogue will start properly. If that does not work the best option is to do a hard reset of the mod:

--- Go someplace away from the shop like Falkreath

--- Save and exit the game

--- disable the mod (you don't have to uninstall, just uncheck it in whatever you use to manage your mods)

--- load the save you made

--- save the game again and exit

--- enable the mod again

Sometimes this is the only option that woks for some people, I don't know why.

Before anyone asks, NO v4 is not out!

 

I am making some updates to the page and uploaded an addon for Devios Devices Equip to add the items to the Master's sale inventory.

I know, as soon as the notification went out that something on it changed I figured I had better put up the bad news first. Besides, I wanted to put up a warning on the mod about ZAP v6.1 and the issues CD is having with it.

At least you put the version and the date of the last update in the mod title, so we don't have to guess like with some mods.

 

I hate it when I see an update, without any indication if there was an update, and with my memory think the number is new and don't realize I already have that version until I see the (1) in the file name.

Right now on v4 I am working on remaking the Solitude and Windhelm quests, they should be a bit more interesting than before (each in their own way). Neither have any scenes where the player is bound so the compatibility with ZAP won't be an issue. After that I will be working to get it working properly with ZAP again. I am still hoping to find a way around it via script where I can build a function to enable/disable it as needed, if so I may be able to get some sort of patch assembled for the current version. I found where most of the AI scripting in ZAP is (I think) but I am having issues sorting it out still.

Is the new version more stable?

The old one mixed with a few other sexlab mods,

like SD, Defeat and CL plus some of the recommended,

really made the game unusable, and it's all due to CD.

This was even before new ZaZ version

When CD was removed and a new game started, 95% of all problems was gone.

(this is not only from one mod installed game, but several different setups in MO)

 

examples:

-Broken Savegames, always

-Random CTDs, anywhere, anytime

-Mayham in Papyrus Logs, and so on..

From some reading on threads about broken save games it seems there is a limit on 'strings' in the game, these are a number of different items and every mod contributes to them. Myself I have never had a broken save game even running 240+ esp/esm's. There is a topic in the SexLab support thread that tells what exactly is going on in the latter part of it.

 

As for papyrus instability the only intensive thing my mod does is equip / unequip DD items.

 

There is no stability issues that I can see with v3.84 of CD and no one has given me anything that I can reproduce and say CD was the cause. v4 will be more than twice as complex.

Hello, maybe someone can help me.

I think i've installed this mod correctly but for some reason most of the equipped devices are not visible when i wear them.

I came to Captuerd Dreams after i died (Death Alternative), there are several slaves wearing all devices correct.

Thanks again! Discovered this page yesterday, dont know this shotcut.

 

Edit: Look's like Hardcoremode is "on" by default and can't be disabled if you wear bondage things :(

Oh crap, that's right - forgot about that. :P

Try a

player.unequipall

in console, that should un-equip everything or at least reset the status of all worn DDs.

Unfortunately this didnt help. Maybe i try to reinstall everything.. Do you maybe have some tips for load order or something like that?

I read a few pages ago about the Falkreath quest getting stuck.

It happened to me today, at the point where the Jarl's helper s supposed to turn around for better access.

Of course I blame other mods, like Deviously-yada-loot or something-enslaved,

but beyond that, I found a solution:

Wait an hour.

Yes, fellow prisoners of love,

The quest seems to get stuck at several stages after that but waiting one hour fixes it right up.

Of course I blame other mods, like Deviously-yada-loot or something-enslaved,

but beyond that, I found a solution:

The quest seems to get stuck at several stages after that but waiting one hour fixes it right up.

Deviously enslaved should detect that the expansion quests are active and do nothing, it shouldn't even be resetting aliases if it detects CD is active.

 

If it was, it would show up in the log though.

 

Unless you were playing CD 4.0 beta, which I need to fix DEC to detect, uninstall if you're testing.

lol, i got stuck at this point few hours ago. i could complete the quest only with "player.setstage cdxexpquest01 390"

maybe it wasnt 390, but you can try the numbers "sqv cdxexpquest01" will give you.

 

edit: i coudn't play cdxexpquest02 either :( when i reach the embassy, the quest target updates but i start slowly walking away without control.

nevertheless, great work! keep it up ;)
