Any idea to "deal" with Ailus?

 

The mod offers the possibility of a dominant character as well as of a submissive one, but there is really no one to dominate. And Ailus deserves a punishment, and her name comes up in conversations several times later. They were talking about nobody being able to break her, or how she should be punished. At one point Elenwen even says she has someone in mind for the job. I played as a dominant character, and I thought she would allow me to try. But once that mission is done, Ailus is pretty much forgotten. Last I saw her, she was locked up and gagged in a cell.

 

I think she could be sent to the Master for some "training" later, in which the Player could help punish her if dominant, or be forced into helping her escape if submissive. It could potentially lead to a powerstruggle or clash of strength/willpower between Ailus and the Master. Depends on how tough you imagine Ailus to be compared to the Master. Maybe even a battle where you help defend the shop from Ailus' mercenaries. I think dominant characters would definitely love a chance of breaking someone tough. And since I doubt we could ever teach the Master a lesson, Ailus is the second toughest in the story so far. And she had way too many screentime to just be ignored.

 

I have not forgotten about her, she will become a resident of the Manor Dungeon along with one or two other npc's.

 

Ailus's personality is one where she is a 'submissive' in a military manor, in other words she is very loyal to her commander (excessively in her case). Unfortunately controlling her can be difficult and she has a rather strong sadistic streak in her. Elenwen knows all this but keeps her as Ailus is 100% loyal to her and would do anything including sacrifice herself for her. Overall she needs to learn discipline and restraint which won't be easy to do.

 

As for how tough she is compared to the Master the Master far outclasses her. Ailus would be just under Herran and the shop's captain of the guard.

Hi, I have a problem, where after the stint with Elenwen (I pretty much was rude and loudmouthed all the time), Master had me punished. While in the basement do the following in the console:

 

sqv cdxmp03

Find the REF Master  entry and note the ID # next to it

PRID <ID #>

Moveto Player

 

That will move her to the basement.

For whatever reason the moveto command that should put her in place doesn't like to move her, she is placed at the same time as everyone else so I am not sure what the issue is. That entire punishment has been redone anyways in v4 so it won't be an issue after that.

Will there be a beta of the Captured Dreams 4? Like you are doing for Devious stuff? You seem to have so much of it working... i'd love to play around with it. ^^

 

I have a few items to build and test before I do a full beta.

 

To build / finish building:

Expansion quest to Winterhold (Erani quest) - it is at about 50% done, the structure and dialogue is there but there are a number of details to work out.

Slavery start - Will have an actual start that other mods may use or can be triggered via MCM menu (with some restrictions on a few things) - can choose between the In Debt start similar to the one currently used or the full slavery start.

Set up residents to arrive in the Manor Dungeon

 

Needing Initial testing / debugging:

Quite a few quests need testing:

Quest to Falkreath to see Nenya / Siddgeir

Quest to Embassy and follow up visit

Quest to Solitude to see Elisif

 

There are some other things that need fixing due to the ZAP update, specifically the furniture. I had some custom items set up for the Chaste Spouse quest and it seems they are all gone.

 

 

When I do the full beta it will be somewhat private though I do want a mix of experienced and unexperienced testers/modders.

 

 

FtM 3 is nearly done, I am making some final adjustments and already have versions for CCOR, OBIS and CCOR + OBIS ready.

Is there a command to start the Thalmor Embassy quest? The courier never appeared for me and I waited about a month in game but he never appeared. Not sure how this happened. I thought about reinstalling the mod but I wanted to ask first before I have to do that.

The quest should be called something like cdxexp02 or similar, try typing help cdx to find it.

 

Once you have it, you can try refreshing the quest with stopquest <questname> and then startquest <questname>

 

Generally I reset the quest if I see any aliases in the quest are unfilled, which you can see with sqv <quest name>

 

but instead of resetting it you could try advancing the stage, although it would suck if the quest was broken and advancing the quest would allow you to start it but it was somehow un-advancable later into the quest. To advance the quest without meeting the requirements, find out what stages are set on the quest with sqs <questname> and then set the stage after the last stage that was set (set to 1) with setstage <questname> <next quest stage>

 

Generally the quest stage that follows the one you're on is the one you want, but sometimes it's an alternate outcome, like when you get attacked by bandits delivering the package there are several possible outcomes, all of which need stages and different mod authors separate them with different styles, some put all of "option b" into a different hundred slot, some put them all in order they can show up in the menu, ect, so just be sure to keep a save so you can revert if the stage you set does something you don't expect.

 

This is generic info that might fix any quest in the game, I'm just too lazy to open TES5Edit to find the specifics about the second expansion quest.

Has the expansion of the shop started?

Have you completed the first expansion quest to Falkreath?

If either of these is no:

- The expansion starts when hitting a specific level (8 is default)

- The quest is set to start a certain number of days after the quest in Falkreath which happens about a week after the start of the expansion.

 

If they are both yes:

Use SQV CDxExpMain and check the stage - stage 125 is for the Falkreath quest, stage 275 is for the Embassy quest. stages go by 25 and each is 1 day.

Use SQV CDxExpQuest02 and check the stage - Stage 10 is when the letter is sent.

 

Do not skip stages in CDxExpMain or things will be missing from the grounds.

Do not start the Embassy quest early as it will set the stage of CDxExpMain to 300 on the first night you are there.

So glad v4 is back on track. Excited about the ability to bypass the original EXP quests as, while they are very well done, I never liked the embassy one (Non-Consensual content isn't my particular Cup of tea, I prefer quests where, should my char be submitting, its out of choice).

 

I didn't mind the Embassy quest except for the part where the PC is thrown into a room full of Thalmor and gang-raped a dozen times. With all the other content in the mod that part felt like it really didn't fit, IMO. I know the PC gets sent there to be used as whatever Elenwen sees fit but still, it didn't seem to fit very well although v4 seems like it's going to have more sex than the current version so it may fit better then.

 

A way to bypass that scene would be great, perhaps a MCM option or something the PC could activate while they're in the cell. The PC would still get used by the two guards washing you up but a fade-to-black scene would occur afterwards. Instead of being teleported to the room with the Thalmor you'd get a message box detailing the events that happened followed by a scene where the PC is being escorted back their cell.

 

 

 Yeah, thats the main scene that bugs me. Again, if that's your thing that's fine. I'm fine with people doing what they want in the game, but to me? I don't particularly care for it. 

 

Whats funny about my current crashes on the embassy quest is that if you go back a few hundred pages, I had to ask for help getting though it on a playthrough more than 6 months ago. Then I used setstages (and got through it on a new save, it was a bug where my char had an animation error, it would cancel any animation that was attempted, even crafting. Still never figured out why). 

 

I'd like to get through this current one so, if I may ask, what stage do I set CDxexpquest03 to in order to skip over either the first guard scene (where I'm crashing) or the quest itself (though that seems like it might make my gear hard to get to so I'm ehh on that). The crash is almost certainly sexlabs fault but  still.

 

Oh, and people, Stop giving him Ideas! Or v4 will never be done!

 

 

Easiest way to bypass the quest from where you are is from the cell while you still have control, there are no scenes running on you and everyone else is just in a holding package.

 

setstage cdxmain 300                 -> advances the expansion to the next phase

open the MCM menu and disable your controls

Setstage cdxexpquest02 525      -> will move you to the exit scene in the entry way where you will get your stuff back.

 

 

The issue with not being able to craft is a force greet that has not completed. Basically Skyrim thinks someone still wants to talk to you so it forces you out of whatever you are doing. Typically the reason this happens is trying to force your way through dialogue or something drops you out of it early. I have been adding what is called 'walk away dialogue' to the dialogue so it will restart automatically at a nearby point (before or after, depending on the dialogue). This will properly end the dialogue and should keep it from causing the issues as well as keep quests from breaking when you drop out of dialogue that is between 2 scenes. It is a pain in the ass to set up but it has been worth it so far (also keep people from skipping out of dialogue before anything bad happens).

 

v4 is already set up so the Embassy quest is optional as is all the rest of the quests, you can disable what you don't want to use and enable what you do.

 

Life got in the way but I finally did it. It worked of course but something odd happened, I got equipped with a red ebonite harness collar (standard type from what I can see) that says it needs a special device to remove. How do I get rid of it? Thanks!

If it was left on after the embassy quest you can use the reset for the Delivery quest and it will remove it.

The versions of FtM 3 that support CCOR and OBIS or both just adds the activator ring to the new outfits from those mods or makes sure that the outfit changes from FtM 3 don't override them and combines them instead. The esp's themselves are pretty simple but the scripting was a bit tougher since I tried some new things in it.

It's just, lots of behind-the-scenes work goes into every mod, and side-effects occur which are hard to pinpoint.

Why do Peaches' eyes glow like a draugr now? I am downloading yet another mod to take care of that, she has such nice eyes, and right now she looks like she has a lighthouse in her head.

"FTM" (I googled that for a bit until I realized it was one of your biggie mods), also thanks for that.

edit: FTM wants "Complete crafting overhaul" which wants "weapons overhaul" and assorted patches.

The crash-box loading skyrim seemed to mention OBIS as well.

I'm not averse to installing mods (or mods for mods) (or mods for the mods for the mods)

But I'm too dizzy today

I checked the stage with the commands and it says the stage is at 125 with a priority of 50.

If you finished the quest to Falkreath then set the stage on CDxExpMain to 150 and you should get the letter after a few days.

heya, got a little troubleshooting question...

 

I decided to play through the mod again (since honestly, Captured Dreams is my favorite).

 

Since the last time plaing it, I updated some of the devious device mods as well as Cursed Loot, installed S.L.U.T.S. as well as updating Quick as you like.

 

Now... the mod itself seems to run fine except for one issue.

The errands never update...

I can do one initial errand, after that I can wait out as many days as I want, but there are never any new jobs available. The package retrieval is also just gone entirely.

 

As far as the questions to get more submissive/dominant go, they seem to update, but nothing else ever happens.

 

Is that a known issue by chance? and if so, any fix?

 

 

PS: I tried it with a whole new character. Loaded some old saves with chars that are already way in the expansion quests and they get the same issues with errands, there are just none ever available.

Try resetting them in the MCM menu, also reset the confiscation quest as well as its start is supposed to override the others but it does not always start properly.

Thanks for the quick answer! I tried resetting the delivery quest, didn't help... gonna try the confiscation quest reset now and update this post afterwards.

 

 

Edit: Nope... I did actually not see a reset option for the confiscation... saw one for the delivery... the general punishment, the main framework and several others, but not the confiscation. All I found in that regard was turning it off and on in the quest options.

 

Well, I did not get new errands eitherway.

You can also check the following global variables using the help command in the console:

 

CDxRDCooldown    is the Delivery Recovery cool down flag

CDxPDCooldown    should be the package delivery cool down flag (not entirely sure as the entire quest was replaced but I don't think this changed)

Is that normal? can't remember it being that way. It's odd too, since the character is entirely new, only collar she ever had on was the one I got from the first errand quest as "insurance" along with the belt, both never came off after finishing the first quest either.

Is that normal? can't remember it being that way. It's odd too, since the character is entirely new, only collar she ever had on was the one I got from the first errand quest as "insurance" along with the belt, both never came off after finishing the first quest either.

 

Don't use the quotes with the command.

 

If you have any sort of locking device on it will use the slave dialogue. As for getting keys you need to have a high ranking with the Master and be dominant as well.

Oh, I didn't use the quotes of course, what I entered was exactly this:

As for the slave dialogue, what I meant was that she talks about me being owned by another.

I remember her calling me slave all the time which is perfectly fine, but I can't remember her talking to me like I have another owner.
