limonotu Posted October 24, 2014 Posted October 24, 2014 Well, I'm tired to spam her 6 times at day so i decided to do some quest for Solitude, maybe it give me some relationship with her if she knows I just saved her city from the most epileptic necromancer I ever seen. So, I completed the two quest about Potéma and her reborn (and some basics quest like kill this bad vampire or this horrible bandit), but i can't change the variable. Annnnd she stills fuck off me. But maybe I don't look the correct variable... Here what i can find on the consol by your command: Quest State : Enabled ? Yes State: Running Current Stage: 75 Priority: 80 The values above the 3 aliases are the variables for the speech check and total is the total score and needs to be above 60. Stage 80 will continue the quest. Oh so I totaly missed the variables. Here what I can see: base=21 Didfail=True Modifier2=20 Modifier3=2 Total= 63 (>60) Tried one more time, no change ( after she says me to leave, I just wait 10 hours in her room or just in front of the door of the blue palace to recheck if she changed her mind)

Free samples is active. No indication she will ever release me... When I get to the first task for the Master, (CDxExpQuest01), I get the letter from the courier, read it, and go talk to the Master. She greets me, says how glad she is that I came, but her new jobs topic only ever lists deliver and recover deliveries. I have done a bunch more of those, but a topic related to the Jarl never shows up. CDxExpQuest01 is stuck on Stage 30. Dengeir is Jarl of Falkreath. sqv CDxExpQuest01 shows CurrentJarl set to NONE. Everything else looks reasonable. I saw oneother person (at least) stuck on this quest at this point. Any suggestions? I tried setting stage to 35 - no help. Did I look at "new jobs" after that.. Hmm... (35 not a valid stage anyway) OK - changed stage to 100, got the go talk to the Jarl Quest. Went to see Dengeir - he had no topics related to Quest and Quest would not advance. Missing menu options almost sounds like I need a SEQ file... Also Vel - you are often posting a loose .esp in this topic - how do we know if it is later than patch 01? These things need version numbers... I have the same problem, the master does not react on the letter she sent to me (CDxExpQuest01=30). After setting it to 100 I can go to the Jarl, the "fitting" takes place and I shall go back to the master. And here the same again, the master doesn't react. I'm using v3.2 full
Slorm Posted October 24, 2014 Posted October 24, 2014 The new update is available, there are a number of fixes including a new method for placing the bandits. @Vel Tested it on an old game -- and it works Well done, those bad boys (and girls) are back I tested on my load game (unused character) and it worked fine as well Couple of suggestions for when you have a moment: 1/ Add back in the helper plugs - the fun part of the old routine was not knowing what you'd get 2/ On a level 3 character she did get killed on one test so maybe make the pc essential until the bandits have made off with the package, then reset back to normal. If that's likely to cause a problem don't worry about it as it was probably just an unlucky critical

I'm using v3.2 full The end of her dialogue sets the stage to 100 and the end of Siddgeir's dialogue sets it to 495 which (very important) plays a short scene that clears the force greet Siddgeir had used (likely what someone else skipped and caused issues). From there it goes to stage 900.

I had to go back to a system similar to what I used originally with a set of bandits at each city. All the bandits are the same and still use the same AI packages so I don't know why it didn't work before. I am going to make more variations on the items (belts etc) and add more randomness to it again. I had made the pc essential before but it caused a lot of problems with Submit and Defeat. It sounds like they hit you pretty hard as the surrender is set to happen once you go below 30% health.

I can see how that would cause a problem for Defeat if someone's using it with DA. On a level 3 character 0 - 30% with no armour doesn't represent much leeway if they all pile in at once (same happens with Defeat) but if you put it any higher then it becomes too intrusive particularly at higher levels And thanks for getting it sorted out, I know it took a lot of work

Is there a reason for this?, other than maybe keeping her away from the player for a faction change or something? Or is the follower supposed to be putting her gear away so that she is wearing DD gear? Because in my game she is still wearing whatever she has when taken. Also, with the trial items, tavish dialog of "So this is your new slave, huh" master responds with her old "just paying off a debt" dialog. Are you waiting for the full slave system to change that dialog for if the player is wearing trial items?

I would bet if you had a good relationship with master and was a good sub you would earn one, but it was not the case. I thought you would get one if you weren't paying attention to master's instructions during the delivery quest, but he changed the quest, and now she puts on normal bindings instead. Pretty sure posture collar was used as a punishment in this mod previously, not a reward, though.

The system for handling followers is only partially complete but I am not sure why they run downstairs first as they use a slightly modified version of the AI packages used by the slaves on display. The followers have also resisted attempts to equip / unequip items and was causing issues so I decided to wait a bit before taking care of it as I need to build a number of scripts that will be nearly identical to the unes used to equip / unequip items on players (which I also intend on making changes to). I have not done much of an update to the Customer Assist quest as of yet, that will be in the next major update. part of why it uses that dialogue is the items used in the debt and the free trial are the same devices except the free trial ones have the shock mechanism turned off. 3.3 Bug: Free trial items don't reapply correctly at end of tavish event. Daemones Posted October 24, 2014 Posted October 24, 2014 Having a bug where my PC does not go into the ZaZ furniture (Elnwen quest). I even tried unsticking myself and tried putting the PC in manually but she would only stand there. I was thinking it had something to do with FNIS so I ran the program, popped back in game but the issue still occurred. (Note I'm using Version 3.0, once this quest is done I can then update safely)

My system may chug a bit whenever I get near the shop now, but it's totally worth it, hehe. Very well done storyline and an incredible modding effort. I'm definitely going to be going through this again. Awesome work!

If the stage is at 250 then it did not disable your controls, doing it manually in the ZAZ MCM menu should allow it to continue. If it is still 200 then something is interfering with the scene and keeping it from ending.

enkephalin07 Posted October 24, 2014 Posted October 24, 2014 I have a script-heavy game, so scripts do slow down sporadically, but nothing like this. I tried resetting the quest over 15 mins ago and still haven't seen a change.
