I hope you are using snap to grid option, makes aligning stuff a lot faster. Also there wont be that many accidental misplacements.

Yes,snap to grid and snap to Angle is activ. You can see it on the pictures.

I don't know what the cause would be, I can run through the scenes one after the other multiple times without crashing or stopping. I know some people have reported issues if they move the camera at all during the scenes, no idea why that would happen though.

yeah, i do. i had to install fus ro d'oh for that obviously - that was the first problem i had but that was days ago and solved by reading.

 

i don't want to get my hopes up, but so far without "deviantly helpless" - after the whipping i got tossed in a cage, then after he let me out i made it back to my house outside falkreath and tooled around a bit without freezing. to be sure i really need to go spend more time in the CD shop though, by the time i tried this last effort it was already 3am. out of all the possible conflicts, that is one i would have expected the least, since it is only suppose to affect people who would openly attack me regardless.

 

about the camera, i used to think that time to time about various things, but it always turned out to be a placebo effect.

  This was a trap I fell into, and caused me a great deal of trouble. I think Shlongs of Skyrim is pretty up to date, and what ever parts of PapyrusUtility it use's are pretty stable.  I know I had to uninstall PapyrusUtility23, because of the problems it caused me with Shlongs of skyrim.and some of them were pretty bad.

 

 

i've heard of a few people saying not to update their papyrusutility - and now im beginning to wonder - in my own mod i am running into an issue where FloatListSet does not seem to be saving the updated values i give to it.

That took 7 hours? wow, I'm sure Bethesda could come up with a better way to do modding.

 

I always prefered the NWN toolkit.

You know, you have to align the height and place of every single darn map/dungeon/ground/house/castle/whatever piece you're throwing out in the game world?

 

The NWN toolkit was just like.. putting puzzle pieces, which always fit into each other, together.

 

I've also done modding for UT, Quake, UT2003, source engine, Dragon Age - part of it for fun and part for my degree in Video Games (programming, art, level design, AI).

 

Bethesda's is the worst one I've used. I've created buildings from scratch in 3DS max quicker.

 

Here is an exploded view of a wall and floor section from the Manor:

You can see why it took time to put together but at least the floor also has the ceiling parts attached, the ones on the 3rd floor don't (why it took so long. Most of the time this would just be 1 piece and you could put them down next to each other with no problem (most of the items in FO3 were that way).

Almost all the houses in Solitude and the interiors of the Thalmor Embassy are all built that way. There are a number of different sets with a number of different details but much of it could have been assembled. For a lot of areas I would put together a set of things and just copy it repeatedly.

You post more frequently again, so you seem to be recovering at least somewhat. But take your time to recover fully. :)

 

 

I don't have to use the prescription pain killers all the time now, usually just at night. I can almost eat normally again, I just have to take small bites to keep from choking as they have to move the larynx and trachea out of the way (procedure that was done: http://www.mayfieldclinic.com/PE-ACDF.htm)

 

 

Didn't check the thread the last two weeks, but you seem to work heavily on the mod again, so i hope you are completely well again.

The problem is the wall sections are 4-5 pieces each and the black strips on the floor are not connected to the other parts but are needed to space them correctly. The lower 2 floors took about 4 hours but the 3rd floor took 3 with most of that trying to find the correct pieces I needed, none are labeled very well. Most of the time the floor, wall and ceiling are one piece and they just have pieces with 1, 2 or 3 walls around it.

 

 

Every time i read something like that i admire your and other lovelab modders stamina overcoming such hassles.

 

 

 

Thanks to DD-Cursed loot and Zenet's Gag Quest i'm currently having even more fun than ever with the devious devices series. Cursed loot equips the devices in such a natural feeling way on you imho and with Zenet's Gag Quest you can still play. But eventually after some hours playtime they usually annoy me enough that i go to the master for removal. Trying to find enough loot to pay back my debts usually starts the circle again though.

And while obviously better than traveling around blindfolded the Master's plugs make adventuring almost as risky. So 90%+ of the gametime i'm adventuring either with the Master's Devices or unlucky found Devices.

I really like it, this enchances my Skyrim experience a lot. Always something inopportune happens, be it dropping your weapons in a tough fight or getting a bounty by getting caught for forced masturbating in a city (in combination with the Sexcrime mod).

The VIP house is taking longer than the Manor house did and it is half the size. I have redone a number of parts of it simply because some of the pieces don't work well in places and some are incomplete (at least I have not found the missing parts yet).

 

I have been playing a some here and there (I can't stare at the CK for too long or I want to break something) and I have been using Cursed Loot along side Deviously Helpless. I have Helpless set to only trigger on the armbinder so wandering around dungeons and such can be dangerous. I use a mod that unlevels the loot lists so you can find some high level stuff at any time so not checking things means missing out on some good stuff and well worth the risk.

i've done a lot of quake 2 and quake 3 mapping myself and i have to agree - creation kit is probably the worst world editor ever. that just means velad has crazy stamina and will power though. so horray for us!

Isnt it the time when zaz animations kicks in? maybe something is wrong with them?

 

I use the animations directly so if it were missing it would cause a problem but the ones I use have been in it for a while.

 

 

can you give us an example off how long it will still take you (longer then a month for exmpl)

i've had this same problem before.... adjusting my papyrus engine settings in skyrimprefs.ini fixed it for me. maybe that would help you too?

maybe you have to disable the "Masturbate on belt removal" in the Devious Device Integration MCM menu. That was the killer for me in this scene.

that's starting to look like again an issue with aggressive scenes, you'd have to test other mods's aggressive scenes for that theory (rape some1 or get raped) - the free camera in sexlab settings will cause that issue with those, but once the issue exists in the save, you need to reload to before ithe scene to fix it, let me guess the npc's around you still behave normal and followers don't understand why nyou won't move, but you're basically stuck in place - I'm curious to know if sl is aware of this problem as its a setting in the framework that causes that with aggressive scenes and if they know it, does 1.58 fix it

oh, nvm you're still waiting for the whipping to occur, at this point your arms should be waiting for chains.....what version of zaz are you running and is it registered with sl in the zaz menu

SexLab shouldn't be causing an issue in the scene, the only thing I use it for is to strip the player. Helpless shouldn't cause an issue either, I use it myself without a problem. SexLab shouldn't be causing an issue in the scene, the only thing I use it for is to strip the player. Helpless shouldn't cause an issue either, I use it myself without a problem. The only thing I can think of is it is hanging at the stripping of the players clothes and does not finish. Post a papyrus log of the with it ending when the scene gets stuck, hopefully there will be something there.

I tried yours and it still dose not work even if I edit the "fUpdateBudgetMS" and "fExtraTaskletBudgetMS". I then tried the previous papyrus settings and increasing there settings and it still dose not work. I went up to 3.0 on each of them still no luck :(
