I have some problems with the mod right now. PC wears Tavish belt and collar. Additionally I have 6000 doubt and wear cuffs from master. Mr. Tavish is not appearing. I already resetted the mod. If I pay the outstanding debt it says "get you out of this..." but nothing happens exept that I pay money. Ledger says 0 debt but still PC wears the stuff. Any idea what went wrong?

I have had a few problems but never with the Tavish items. Can you go back to a save before the Customer Assist?

 

Only Tavish can remove his items.

 

If not maybe advance to another Assist event and the items should be removed for the new demonstration.

 

I have also had the Masters collar fail to remove and the only way was to go back into debt and pay it off and it removed fine. I tried by console but could not make it work.

 

Sometimes after playing for a while weird things have happened but restarting from a recent save and things worked for me.

Oh did you know for deliveries running is faster than fast travel time wise... ie more time will pass if you fast travel than if you just run there, even to places far far across the map. i've been earning bonuses for getting back sooner. Also you see more of the world, have more encounters and not just with wolves. I like to plan different paths too. I used to always fast travel and then got punished for being late getting there and getting back... so i tried running and it was like a whole new world... it also lets you plan how to deal with the boss and his minions as you enter the delivery area.

 

so much fun!

Oh did you know for deliveries running is faster than fast travel time wise... ie more time will pass if you fast travel than if you just run there, even to places far far across the map. i've been earning bonuses for getting back sooner. Also you see more of the world, have more encounters and not just with wolves. I like to plan different paths too. I used to always fast travel and then got punished for being late getting there and getting back... so i tried running and it was like a whole new world... it also lets you plan how to deal with the boss and his minions as you enter the delivery area.

 

so much fun!

 

Yes it's much more fun on foot or using a mod like Touring Carriages (if you prefer to ride by cart). I never use fast travel now.

Tavish's items can only be removed by Mr Tavish and are removed at the start of the scene with him the next time you see him. Reset the Assist a Customer quest in the MCM menu, go outside and go past the sign to the road then go back inside and speak to the Master, she should give you a date to be there. 

 

Also, check the global variable CDxLongTermBelting, if you owe the master gold for removal fees it should be 3 otherwise it should be 2. If it is 0 or 1 you can set it in the console:

Setvalue CDxLongTermBelting to <value>

I use a mod that disables fast travel on foot, you can only do it on horseback or by carriage. Even then I rarely use fast travel for anything.

Just north of the Half Moon Mill which is between Falkreath and Rorikstead.

Could you give a brief overview of what exactly the various punishment plugs do? I couldn't quite figure out all of them through testing.

Here are what all the various plugs do:

 

Little Devil plugs:

Exciter - Random vibration and edge the player (stop before orgasm) - the vibration may push you over the edge sometimes

Orgasmo - Frequent heavy vibration intended to induce orgasm frequently, sometimes with stamina drain

Punisher - Edge the player, electrostim effect (reduce arousal) and health, mana and stamina drain (this is the harshest plug)

Spoiler - Edge the player and electrostim

Tormentor - edge the player, electrostim, magically sensitive and periodic vibration

 

Little Helper plugs:

All have the effects of Edge the player, electrostim, magically sensitive and random vibration

Assassin - Fortify sneak, 1 handed and archery, an extra 2x on backstab

Fighter - Fortify 1 and 2 handed and block

Mage - Increase spell power (not skill) on all schools of magic

Thief - Fortify sneak, pick lock and pick pocket

When i'm arriving at night at the shop, i'm using the second cage outside (the one with the skeleton in) to wait and sleep.

 

Now i have a question/suggestion: Can you make it a slave/player-home? 

 

Maybe with a chest in it for safe storage,

and that way, that the pet can close the cage, but not open it?

Pet has  to wait for Herran, who would check (with a little insulting comment) in the morning, if someone is in.

Master can take money for letting you use it (she is a little greedy, isnt she?).

 

I know you have bigger plans, but i think it could be al nice little addition.

after the first punishment harran says to the visitors " have some fun with her" (real ingame-time)

after the last punishment he says "Enough for today, comes again tomorrow". (pc goes in the cage)

Something amiss with Customer Assist.

 

I had an appointment for the 10th, was busy with another mod, showed up on the 20th, no recognition about the missed date.

 

Given a new date on the 1st, showed up but no Tavish, went back on the 2nd and still no one.

 

Master has not given me a new date yet.

 

I will reset but it seems that after a few days after the missed appointment it dismisses it with no consequences.

I have not reset yet being pretty busy with another mod.

 

I stop in from time to time but nothing is mentioned about missing the dates or another date set.

 

Maybe Herron or bounty hunters should be used to hunt down us independently rebellious souls.

 

Of course the bounty would be added to your debt account. Other wise she can be ignored as is happening now with me.

 

I will go back at my convenience, not hers, bet that would make her really mad.

Not sure if it has been suggested or not but I have two suggestions for the quests in this mod, mainly the delivering deliveries quest, One is that the customer then will use the devices once the dialogue finishes, either on themselves or if the dialogue says they were intending to use them on someone else then they will use them on that person instead, also maybe they will use them on the player (they have a key to the custom restraints and use new ones, like armbinders and gags) as if their order included a trial or something. Two more of a result to the dominance of the player i.e. the Master becomes afraid of the player if they become too dominant or the guard can become a follower and does as the player says, and finally when you are fully dominant you can force the master to submit to you and restrain her.

 

If any of this is already in the mod or in production sorry, been playing a while and haven't seen it. just thought that seeing the customers use the devices would be cool and having a result to the dominance would  make it more worth while than buying keys.

So I finally installed this - version 2.7 and then the 2.76 patch. Saw no mention of the place once in game so I started heading towards Half Moon Mill. Along the way, near Bloated Mans Grotto, I see a courier who five seconds later gets mauled by a sabercat and dies. On him though, he had some note about a treasure at Halted Stream Camp. That's not a message I've seen couriers carry before so I figured maybe it's from this mod.

 

But first I drop by the shop, and see some slaves. Their scripts seem a little odd as it takes a few seconds to first add the DD getups to them and then another few to get one of them into the right position. Slave Tarri can't seem to decide if she wants to be chained to the floor or hang from the chains above her or something. Anyway, one of the slaves says something about helping me get out of my restraints - I'm only wearing a collar though, and I say something like - bandits did this to me. Well no, I forget but I don't think it was bandits.

 

I reload to an earlier save where I'm outside, figuring oh, that courier message was probably from this mod and it wants me to go to bandit camp X to get some DD getup on me. Unfortunately I kill every bandit without breaking a sweat being level 30 already. I see no treasure or anything else.

 

So... am I supposed to lose to those bandits and then flee? Or is that message even courtesy of this? I have Submit + DD + FF installed already but maybe this runs its own script with random bandits? Also, I have GagSFX installed, but none of the gagged slaves actually give off muffled sounds. Guessing the mod just ignores all sounds and gives you the text like that?

You should get 3 notes from couriers - all of them are based on your level and all of them are just simple advertisements. No bandit treasures.

To get first one most likely you need to level up. Then another level up to get 2nd etc.

 

If you wear any kind of devious device - be it collar or anything else - they would see and address you as a slave.

To be able to get any quests from master you need to have all those unequipped. For collar i guess one of the Orc smiths in the basement should offer you to take it off you for a fee - after you talk with Tarri about it.

Oh. Well I finally did get a courier giving me a note about an ad for the shop as I dropped by Whiterun to use the smelter. After I had already done like 3 missions for the master. Think I leveled up there somewhere.

 

So I head to Riften and get jumped by a boss at the gates. He kicks my ass with his buddies. Anyway, struggle out of the armbinder but still got a gag on me. I don't know if SexLab 1.58 breaks GagSFX or if it's CD, but I don't get the Mmmph dialogue with NPC's I'm trying to talk to anymore. Bored, I fast travel back to the shop because yeah, I'm gonna walk back to Falkreath, ugh. Anyway, I get suspended by some chains, the bodyguard guy, Herran(?) pulls out a crop and then sheaths it again, and I'm left dangling. Guess I'll wait a little longer.

 

Anyway, my initial impressions were a little skewed because I wasn't aware of the note appearing at level ups. But still, the shop isn't all that subtle and the master's questions could be a little more ambiguous - including leaving out the part if I turn more submissive or dominant. Not really hard to tell what happens when the questions are phrased the way they are.

 

As it is right now, unless I'm roleplaying some total submissive or dominant ditz, the whole thing is too obvious. I was thinking, maybe initiate the quest with couriers, and then have someone blackjack you in your sleep like the DB quest and force you to do something that leads you to the master eventually. Or have the shop turned into an inn, advertise it and have it maybe say - free beer! No slaves running around naked with DD outfits on. Just an unusual amount of servant wenches which maybe makes you initially suspicious. Then the beer's tampered and you wake up in chains and a chastity belt or something and you have to assert your dominance after an initial job or go along and go the sub route.

 

EDIT: ok left the house and set punishment to short (I think) and Herran uses the crop and I end up in a cage. Not sure which thing fixed it. Anyway, now with the armbinder on - like previously - I keep hearing the equip/unequip sound repeatedly despite not wielding anything. Haven't had issues with armbinder doing that before so is it this or possible SL 1.58 issue?

 

EDIT2: Armbinder was a SPERG issue. Ugh.

I've been using this mod for a while and I've loved every minute of it. I am sondering, though, is there a way to become the Master's slave? If there is, what does it take? I'd love to know, and many others probably would like to know as well.

Along the way, near Bloated Mans Grotto, I see a courier who five seconds later gets mauled by a sabercat and dies. On him though, he had some note about a treasure at Halted Stream Camp. That's not a message I've seen couriers carry before so I figured maybe it's from this mod.

 

That's a vanilla Skyrim random-encounter. If you see a courier on the road who doesen't have mail for you, then it's this encounter, and he always has that note on him, which will point you to any random dungeon in the game to collect one random enchanted item.

 

You just haven't murdered a courier before or found one dead.

 

 

The loot is always worthless by the way, even at high levels, you can be asked to slaughter your way through a small army of bandit Marauders at one of the biggest bandit caves in the game, just to collect one iron war-axe with a rubbish fire-enchantment on it. You know, the kind that you could have made a million of yourself if you had wanted to, and it doesen't even have a good re-sell value.

 

I never take the note if i find a dead courier, i'll loot whatever else he's got, but not that note, it's just a huge waste of time.

i had an idea for future expansion. What if after you have demoed a few times for Mr. Tavish, but you start ignoring the Master and not getting the Assist Customer quest in time for the next show, in fact you haven't gone back to even be berated by the Master for missing a possible demo, but you are just out there minding your own business, killing bandits, dragons and wolves, when a courier shows up with a strongly worded note about coming back for a demo and punishment for ignoring the Master. One possibility is you could start wracking up debt with the Master, or harder punishment.  Maybe if you continue to ignore Master, she sends a bounty hunter after you to drag you back for a night downstairs, and a demo with Mr Tavish locking his attitude correction gear on you.

 

I do enjoy wondering as i am doing other things how close i am to the next Mr. Tavish demo, and think this experience could be fleshed out more too.

Is the time scale for carriages the same time scale as for running? So you would spend the same amount of time from Windhelm to White run by carriage as by running from there?

So are the bandits that intercept you always the same bandits with no motivation, and the aiding customer NPC the same NPC every time? That sounds with the delivery and retrieval quests like it would get repetitive pretty quick, specially when disposition seems to be capped at Excellent and personality capped at Submissive or Dominant - which are pretty easy to raise unless you constantly screw up - and doesn't leave you with much to do. What's my motivation other than - I want to be your fetchbitch master? Or doing them to be able to afford the various class plugs - which sound pretty interesting.

I get that and some other bugs.  Moving to the wrong marker, my controls not being enabled after a scene, etc.  Doesn't matter what settings I use for the mod in MCM, what I'm wearing/not wearing, etc.

I also get a lot of AI glitches with the NPCs in the shop, probably the same ones you're getting.

None of it is really subtle. :-/

Agreed.  After four or five side jobs it's repetitive and pointless if they were all successful.

 

I do like the mod, but it is buggy and monotonous.  I hate having to keep resetting the various quests just to get some sort of play-through.  I hope some of the issues and bugs get worked out.  It is a great concept and I think your idea of making it an inn has a lot of merit.

Finally after reseting assist customer, waiting 10 days it worked. Without the Tavish items paying on account worked and everything was removed.

Its the same time scale though you will arrive a little faster as the cart goes at a slightly faster pace than running if you ask the driver to hurry up.

 

There are some glitches. If an animation goes off (like vibrating plugs) you fall through the floor of the cart but it carries on as normal and you'll disembark as normal.

 

The only real problem is if you're running Deviously Helpless (or other cloak effect type mods) as the bandits can hook you out the cart but the game still thinks you're in the cart and will CTD in time, so disable DH before using a cart.

 

Oh, there's a small glitch with Captured Dreams which Vel is fixing when going to Solitude, so make sure Touring Carriages is loaded after Captured Dreams and you'll be fine.
