roykupzz12 Posted June 21, 2014 Posted June 21, 2014 I have an issue with the Assist Customer quest line. No matter what, the second Assist always freezes. My toon is locked into thrird person and cannot move, Trivas and the other NPCs simply stand there and do/say nothing. It doesn't matter if the gameday is the 1st, 10th or 20th and it doesn't matter what NPC slave girl Trivas has with him. The game hangs up. I have restarted the entire quest twice, used fresh saves from before the mod was loaded, reset the quest in MCM, tried console advancing the quest stage, console killing Trivas, resurrecting Trivas, etc. No matter the case, when Trivas says 'This will be fun', I never get to the fun because he just stands there and makes ugly faces at my frozen toon. Is there ANY WAY to get this going? I like the mod and the concept but this freezing thing is really pissing me off. Something else that goes wrong is after the first Assist scene, every time my toon gets punished for being late after a delivery or a retrieval she moves to the spot where the Assist scene takes place and not the spot where she should receive punishment...and the game freezes and Harran and Master just stand there like dorks. I was halfway through reading your post and was thinking I would ask you if you were also having trouble with other punishment sequences particularly the failed delivery punishment, then I got to the end and got my answer. I've had this problem before, and was able to fix it. The problem is not the mod, it's the scripting engine Papyrus (at least it was for my case but your symptoms are very similar to mine). On script heavy mod set-ups it's very easy to overload the scripting engine and i was able to fix my problem by tweaking the [Papyrus] settings in my skyrim.ini. Now the tricky part is there's no solution that fits all. My mod set-up maybe more/less script heavy than yours so our needs may vary. these are the setting you should look at: [Papyrus] fUpdateBudgetMS=1.2 fExtraTaskletBudgetMS=1.2 fPostLoadUpdateTimeMS=500.0 the above are the defaults i think; mine looks like this: [Papyrus] fUpdateBudgetMS=2.0 fExtraTaskletBudgetMS=2.0 fPostLoadUpdateTimeMS=800.0 now, i advice you to make a back-up before you start playing around with their values. Also start by increasing your 'fUpdateBudgetMS' and 'fExtraTaskletBudgetMS' by increments of 0.2 (if you have a value of 1.2 there try changing them to 1.4 then 1.8, 2.0 etc). Now for 'fPostLoadUpdateTimeMS', this is the time spent during loading screens to load up scripts the max value here is 2000 and default is 500. increasing this number may make scripts more stable but it also increases your loading times so find your sweet spot. for more info about these settings: http://www.nexusmods.com/skyrim/mods/50244/? Google is your friend If you are having issues with the punishments not working typically it is one of these 3 things: 1- Fus Ro D'oh not installed or is not working 2- Sexlab or Integration is not up to date 3- Another mod is interrupting the scene From what you describe it is likely #1 as there is dialogue after that before anything else happens. Most people who have had the same or similar issue has fixed it by installing or reinstalling Fus Ro D'oh. I will have to try out the ini edit. I only have occasional issues with crashing, mostly when a number of sexlab mods are running and competing with each other. I also use a number of multithreaded commands in my ini as well.

At that point it works as it is supposed to; however, when I try again nothing happens other than to remove or equip it. (Regardless of whether or not it says it is on, it shows up on the char.) This just happens with the belt, since the collar works fine. Not sure what exactly is causing this, but I would be grateful for any help.

With the belt not equipped properly the plugs won't work right. do you have a spot for building up your dd seetlement? even if trapdoors look lazy, they dont have much impackt on the game and less chance to conflikt with other mods that alter that location. The area I am using is the area around the shop (front and back), the boundaries are the main road (east side) trail (north side) mountain / hill (west side) and stream (south side). From what I understand the only mod that does anything within that area is one that adds a number of campsites to the world.

That was originally part of the scene with the bandits but I had issues getting it to work, currently it is not used.

Starting: Finished (14 stages later): Each stage will be a day so the entire place will be several weeks (about a month) to complete in game. I hope to have several phases of construction for each building (similar to manor houses in Hearthfire). The area will look completely different from how it is now once I am done.

(the plugs still do not work with it tho) When I try with the opened one, it is equipped but along with the closed as well. Then the a fore problem happens again. Furthermore, every time I try with out the closed one in the inv, it just adds and equips the closed one again. Not sure if this helps, but the description on the opened belt does not say the thing about the enchants and the debuffs do not actually change anything. It just says it is changed by 0. It says that even with the closed one equipped. As long as one belt is working, it won't be too bad. I could replace the plugs with the cursed or punisher/orgasmo ones and see how that goes. Then simply get it removed when Travis removes the belt himself. Thank you very much for helping.

There are some vanilla spawn points around the shop, most were removed but there was 1 still there. I have it set currently that it is disabled once the clearing begins.

Spoiler To trigger this quest / scene for the first time you must have a Disposition of 7 or less and a Rank with the Master of 13 or better. Once you reach this the next time the Master sees you she will inform you that you are to be there and when. Be rude or don't show up at all and you will be severely punished. Travis does not appear for me. I waited to the day where he should come and progressed through that day hour by hour. He never appeared. I loaded an earlier save and waited through the day regulary. Yet still ne never appeared. If I leave the shop and enter it again Master asks me where I have been. Something's weird on my end there...
aqqh Posted June 21, 2014 Posted June 21, 2014 That may be because he will never appear if you would wait inside the shop grounds. Go to that mill nearby at least and wait there.

On the 10th I'm there and she says I should be back on the 20th..and so on. Has a little bug sneaked in? Is there any way to fix this maybe?

Harran doesn't hit me with the switch, and I can't get out of the chains unless I use an animation glitch that sometimes occurs (don't believe the glitch is related). I've tried the reset feature but it doesn't really seem to do any good... I do have Fus Ro D'oh installed. Any help would be much appreciated.

Herran draws the cane then sheaths it pretty much immediately, sometimes there is an "idle" swing to it. At first I thought that maybe somehow he couldn't reach me or something (crazy, I know), but that wouldn't explain the sheathing of the cane. Sometimes if I do the masturbation animation glitch and move myself forward a little the rest of the scene will continue, but that isn't really satisfactory or even efficient, seeing as how I can hang there for over 5 minutes real time before an opportunity arises. So far this is the only big issue in the mod I've come across, everything else seems to function pretty well.

The value on it should be the same as the date you are supposed to be there.

Check the stage the quest is at (sqv cdxcustomerassist01). If you don't see any dialogue after your reply it should be at 155, if it is at 160 then it may be getting stuck at trying to strip you of your clothes and any DD items you have on.

Veladarius Posted June 22, 2014 Author Posted June 22, 2014 The next scene part that plays on stage 155 is 1 line of dialogue from the Master then 2 lines from Tavish and then the stage is set to 160. Nothing is done with the player at this point, that starts in the next scene section. Just to verify, do you see the dialogue between Tavish and the Master that happens between when you speak to the Master and Tavish's Are you ready line? Something else to try, once the scene starts don't move the camera. Some people have had issues if they move the camera (no idea why on that) and keeping it still keeps the scene moving.
