Not only by the quality of your work, which is very high, but also for the possibilities this mod opens up. You have shown us how a slavery mod can exist during regular game play. Whether or not you decide to let master become owner of PC, the simple idea of making the PC return every ten days is very effective and can be copied by other mods in one way or another. When this mod first appeared I was reluctant to try it out. Didn't care much for the effects of the devices from Integration. That did not stop me from using them, but I hated it. With Captured Dreams, the dynamic is different somehow, and that somehow is Master. You have captured the character extremely well. The old orc in the library at Winterhold is just a dirty ole man. Master comes off as powerful in a matter of fact way that seems natural to her position as dominant. Now when my PC leaves the shop and confiscation has not run, it is somewhat of a disappointment, which is a very realistic Dom/sub dynamic that you have brought to the game. That is just one example of the many strengths of your work. I do hope you decide to have Master decide to either take the PC herself, or else arrange for someone else to, (too much work?) The consensus appears from all the posts, you have us hooked on this mod and we anxiously await the next expansion. It doesn't feel out of place in Skyrim, like it was always a part of the game. This is as well done so far as any I have played. Hopefully all the little tweaks will be taken care of and you can only worry about the next phase. Thank you for all your hard work on this mod.

Actually, there aren't a lot of good mods that capture/enslave the player. Hence the enthusiasm for what you're accomplishing here. I don't like Sanguine'sD, it just seems pointless to me, LADL just sticks some DD stuff on ya and dumps you in the middle of nowhere, for 2 examples. Perhaps you underestimate what you've achieved here? CD is unique, there is nothing like it anywhere. And, amazingly, it is a mod that doesn't depend on gratuitous sex every few minutes. No, in CD, you've created, amongst other things, a consensual (QnA Time, anyone?) DS dynamic and made it seem natural, and not even contrary to the whole dragonborn thing (for players not ignoring that side of the PC). (All that said, making it accessible to other mods is a good idea, and generous. It can only improve them.)

What we are praising here is not "just" the technical achievement of putting together a well-oiled set of quests, or setting up so many tricky animations: while few modders are able to do this successfulky, several on SL could have done it, and in fact have done work of comparable complexity here around this theme (though more on Oblivion than on Skyrim). But for me what truly sets apart your work is the quality of your writing. Very few modders have been able to spin a tale so compelling, even more so when it comes to capturing the essence of D/s relationships (the only name that comes to mind is Mavia and her FO:NV msex mods, Fort Slavery in particular... but I might be remembering this in a rosy light due to how weak FO:NV story-building typically was). For all of that... THANK YOU.

I had played with it some time ago and liked it but it had a few issues with some other mods I use. I don't have any problems with other mods working with / connecting to CD so long as they enhance and compliment each other and don't make any changes to the core of CD. Trying to make a mod do everything when it would be easier to make mods that interconnect like many of the DD mods do just seems smarter. I ended up removing LADL, I have been getting a number of errors in my logs concerning LAL so I switched to Skyrim Bound and you can achieve much of the same things. I recently started a new game and my characters back story was she was a slave and her Master passed away leaving her the house (but not the keys to the devices). I wouldn't mind working on a new version of LADL that was meant to be used with Skyrim Bound but changed the quests in LAL, I would think that it could be done without changing the scripts, just editing the quests and such. That would likely make it more compatible with updates to LAL.

However I got some questions about the quests. so far I've manage to experience the delivery and retake missing goods quests, but no matter how many times I fail, I still got the same punishment cycle, no further progress. Could someone kindly tell me how to activate other quests (punishment)? And I wonder what will happen if the master consider my debt to be "heavy"? Thanks The Assist a Customer scene isn't triggered until the Master somewhat likes you and you are submissive. The other punishment has multiple triggers but the main ones are doing badly on the assist a customer quest or having the npc's in the shop not like you. If your debt gets too high then arm and leg cuffs and a bra are added (all matching) and are not removed until the debt is paid off entirely. Thanks, I got the assit customer workig, but in the final stage when I successfully pissed off the customer, the master said I should stay here while she walked the customer out, then the three npc just stand still, while I am able to walk freely (with a normal post except that my hands are missing), nothing happens next. And how exactly can I piss off other NPCs in the shop?

The issue at the end of the scene sounds like something interrupted the scene and returned control to you before it was supposed to, that pretty much kills the scene at that point. Currently there isn't a way to do that for individual npc's, it is mostly there for future expansion. When you fail a quest it lowers the rank for everyone and at time there is an additional drop for the Master. You are likely to piss off the Master to the point of getting the punishment than the other npc's first. I've been having trouble launching the game when I have this mod active. The only requirements is Integration, the expansion and everything needed to run those (SexLab, Aroused, ZAZ Animations and Assets) but if you have any of the addon files then you also need the original mod for the items the addon makes use of. I suggest using Wrye Bash or TES5Edit to find out what the missing master is.

Next i talked to Master but she always says "You have a long way before i sell you any keys". I forgot something or i must something to do Purchasing keys is a quest? CD is now gone from "meh - nice" into a must-have for my attempts to finally get through one round of Skyrim without restart/reinstalls. The CD files - I check for modifications each day It's also my main inspiration for trying to get into modding as I have some ideas for a different mod which could tie into CD (that was my plan for a turn) - but I'm having many difficulties just getting started up, yet alone learning to mod, so that might be a pipe dream. Which makes it all the more impressive to me that you guys can churn out content like this.

I never was a big fan of the Devious Devices mod (great job, btw, even not being my cup of tea), and when I firstly saw Veladarius shop I though "a shop...I won´t play this mod, I wont ever buy any DD ". But since it has the quests, I tried it and it was kind of "OMG, I should have played this before", but what you just said, Gina, is something I didn´t think while playing the mod: the feeling of being "captured" in some way (mind break could be the word to use ). I am now so hooked to this mod that I am looking every day for a new update where the PC will be really enslaved, but I am not sure if that "real enslavement" (i am thinking of Sanguine Debauchery, for instance) would probably break the mod atmosphere... I would love to be sold in an auction at the shop, tho... Thanks everyone, I have had a lot fun making it. I will be making it so the player can / will be enslaved and I am going to try to make it fairly easy to hook into if other modders want to link into it, there are already so many good mods that capture the player I don't see any sense in trying to recreate them. I will have 1 more patch out before starting on the next major release that will fix a few issues that were still lingering, I should have it out tomorrow. I agree with most of the praise. CD is now gone from "meh - nice" into a must-have for my attempts to finally get through one round of Skyrim without restart/reinstalls. The feel was just right and blends in perfectly with other world slave mods (e.g. slaverun). The current breadth of options is also great. I appreciated how not all consequences were the same.BugsAfter the first demonstration for the customer, attempts to make a delivery would become hung. There is a change in the dialog that seems like it may be responsible. The Master would give the ques and act like the quest was occurring, but the quest would not formally begin or appear in the journal, nor would the recipient accept the package or the bandits intercept me. This essentially halted all forward progress; though, (as I type this), I wonder if I could have gotten generic bandits to steal it from me to get past this block.When the Master offers to take restraints off for a price, the debt amount did not actually increase. This was only discovered when attempting to pay off the full debt, which was only 10k at the time, rather than the 10k + X4k, which is should have been.SuggestionsHave the Master or other NPCs in the shop (e.g. a rival, the lumox, etc.) confiscate/steal equipment. For instance, when you are put in a cage after failing a delivery, there's a pouch with 10 lockpicks to help you make your escape, but you also have all your gear, which seemed weird and removed any danger. In this instance, it would be great if you had to buy the stuff back from the master, but it would also be good if the gear was just put in the equivalent of an evidence chest that you could loot after you have "served" your sentence. If you get caught trying to steal your gear back, well, I'm sure the master could come up with an appropriate punishment.Include a recommendation that users turn off mods/effects that allow NPCs to stagger you. I showed up on the appointed date and no Tavish, even went in the next day and still no Tavish. I reset the quest and have a new date. Will see what happens tonight. The other thing is I was late with a delivery and got the whipping and devices put on but no cage punishment. I assume that this is rank driven as I am in excellent standing and submissive. Should there not be some more to this than just ending with the devices on in the shop? Maybe spend the night in the basement with the slaves and freed when the cage unlocks in the morning. No need for the master to be in the basement at that time, just go upstairs and talk to her, or leave it as is just being free to move about. The framework of this great mod makes you expect to be severely punished for screwing up. Patiently waiting for and anxiously anticipating the expansion. Thanks

Sometimes the delivery quest fails to start if you tab through the dialogue, there should be another piece of dialogue that resets the destination if that happens. If not then you can reset the quest through the MCM menu (this happened to me today). With the customer, make sure you leave the shop as the trigger for it is outside the front door. If you are inside then it will not start. To find out your rank and amount you owe, go to the ledger by the front door, it is listed there. The issue with the removal fee is fixed in the version I am testing currently. The scripts that controlled it were broken up between some different dialogue and there was a hole where you could get items removed for no cost in some cases. I have fixed that and made a function that checks what you have and sets the fee properly. Here: http://www.creationkit.com/ another site to look at is here: http://tesalliance.org/forums/index.php?/forum/81-the-enclave/ Go through some of the tutorials and there is also a reference on all the commands and how to use them (though some are vague). You can also look through other scripts and see how some things are done (you will want to be familiar with the basic parts of a script first). If you are trying to use a command or do something specific try doing a search on the internet, I have found a number of things out that way as well.

Player rank is how much they like you, it increases with successful completion of tasks and is lowered when failed. Player disposition is raised and lowered by some responses during punishments or by answering questions from the Master, Assistants or Smiths. Thanks It likely didn't set properly, let me know if it fails again and I will have you check a few things. If the master likes you enough you will not be sent to the cage, just released.
