I'll post this here.

 

I've been planning for a perk add-on for AND+modesty rank, however I don't think I'll make it soon enough ( I have another mod that takes precedence) 

 

The perk add-on I have in mind is very simple ( in principle) using the custom skill framework for compatibility.

 

You start the game as modest, and cannot progress at all unless you spend a perk.

With the first perk you can progress to relaxed.

The second perk allows to progress to tease

The third perk for brazen

The final perk allows to progress to shameless ( permanent if enabled)

 

I'm sharing this here, because I remembered that there is a plan to make the progression happen in a non gradual manner ( free style progression) and the add-on could serve as a gate for that if someone is interested in doing it.

 

I still plan to do it if no one else wants to, but maybe someone cares enough so others may benefit

Is there any chance of you implementing an even more detailed modesty mode where it differentiates from flashing and just straight up exposed? Like lower levels will cover flashed parts but higher ones will only cover exposed (i.e nothing equipped) parts and ignore flashed parts.

Probably not.

 

In my opinion that's a little overly granular. Plus, if she would cover herself when exposed, why wouldn't she cover herself when she's flashing? The flashing system is an "unintentional" flash, not something the player actually MEANS to do, so the situation is the same in my opinion.

 

On top of that, adding something that granular in the code becomes precarious to keep running consistently. The mod has already become far more complex than I originally envisioned, and I need to find a stopping point before I succumb to endless scope creep.

So, This mod aint acrive since I did not add *AND* Keywords, but instead of adding it one by one for each piece of armor/clothing, I just want a premade KID.ini file or even esp, anyone got one?

 

I have over a hundered mods of armor packs and ... so feel free to send files that are for armor mods too

Just want to say thanks for this mod - not only that but your examples of KID files means that I have a much better understanding of what that mod can do.

Apologies. I am sure this is me missing something obvious, but I cannot seem to get animations to play from the modesty module of this mod. The main mod is installed, with appropriate ini files, as seen in nudity states section of the MCM. The animations from DFFMA are installed, as I can find them in the OAR menu. But no matter what condition is listed in the nudity states section, no alterations to animations are made. I have confirmed that I enabled dynamic modesty, but am uncertain how to troubleshoot further.

While you've likely checked these, I'm going to list them just to cover all the causes I'm aware of:
-DFFMA only works on female characters, so if you are expecting it to work on a male character that could cause it to "not work"
-By default DFFMA only triggers if a character is "seen" by a male character. You can change that with a setting in the MCM.
-There's an MCM option for DFFMA to disable modesty, double check you didn't click it by accident.

I'd recommend doing a test without AND installed to check if DFFMA is properly installed. Because as far as I am aware, AND's module is set up to just change when the calls for the animations are made. So if AND says a part of you is uncovered and you meet the above conditions, it should be making a call for the appropriate animation.

Let me add a few things

1- while it may be obvious, you have to go to AND mcm and turn on modesty rank.

2- Double check the installation of dffma, I had an issue where it wasn't working, and that was because my installation had an issue, I had "upgraded it" from a previous version, but mo2 did not properly clean the files. I had to manually remove it and install it from scratch

The debugging is done and the failure is all mine. DFFMA and AND both, in a vacuum, were installed correctly. But DFFMA was installed after AND. Only changing some load orders, and everything works. My apologies for the trouble and my thanks for the help!

ok i understand how to make the kid ini files and ive read the keyword layout and ive made a test ini to try in game BUT the only part im not understanding is where do i place the ini in my data folders other than that im good to give my first ini a try can you help me on that part only.

The ini file goes in your Skyrim Data folder. That's it. Just in the Data folder.
As an example, here is the path to one of my AND KID files:

 

E:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Skyrim Special Edition\Data\AND_AradiaBikini_KID.ini

In JUST the Data folder. The same place all of your .esm/.esp/.esl files are.

thank you i was very confused about that part. 2nd question and this is just me being stupid would kid stop working if i enchant the armor and rename the armor via enchanting ingame?

 

and my last question its been a min since ive played skyrim and i forgot how to use sse edit so that it makes a full list of armor in a esp/esm into a ini file it will save me time than trying to type this all out.

No. Enchanting the armor doesn't change the editor name or ID of the item, only it's reference name. KID attaches the keywords to the Base ID of the item

 Greetings! I've got an unhealthy addiction to modding skyrim, so i wanted to change NPCs outfits depending on how well, shameless they get. Or how modest. 

Given how your mod allready does that, with a nice integration for idles, i wondered if i could just steal borrow your modesty system as base. Given that AND uses spells to track modesty state and SPID supports filtering by spells, looked easy enough. Except NPC modesty is static ATM.

So i wonder if you plan to expand dynamic modesty system to fully affect NPCs?

@nilead Hello!

 

First off, Advanced Nudity Detection is a Framework mod, so yes you may utilize my system for your mod (ie: your mod requires A.N.D. to function). Everyone is free to do so. That was the original point of this mod.

 

Second, AND use Factions to designate nudity and modesty states, not Spells.

Yes/No. I will not analyze all NPCs for dynamic modesty. That would be too intensive to track. Dynamic Modesty will be implemented for Followers in 2.3.0, and only while they are actively following you, meaning if you dismiss them their Dynamic Modesty timers will freeze.

 

There are special spells you can add via console to target specific NPCs and change/reset their modesty level if you choose, but those are mostly meant for testing/debugging purposes, so there's no proper projectile or on-hit visual effects, but they do work.

2.3.x will likely be the final version of Advanced Nudity Detection. I feel like I've properly displayed its capabilities and expanded upon them enough. Now it's time for others to build upon this foundation. It's rather sad that it took this long for something like AND to come about, but I suppose late is better than never.

  Those spells were what given me the idea, a wrong one at that, but still. Factions are even better as those are available as filters for both SkyPatcher and SPID. And those debug spells willt come in very handy. Iam in no way competent in what iam doing, but slapping those onto sl_trigger with a few checks  would have a basic effect i seek - NPC getting progressively more shameless engaging in, well, shameless acts. Im in no way a competent modder, but i do kitbash stuff using tools provided by proper wizards)

 Obviously followers getting a proper tracking and progression is awesome, and it will cover a larger portion of NPCs that were intended to be affected in the first place.
