Hi, I downloaded the latest beta from discord and I'm a bit concerned about the new strict/relaxed progression system. 

Did you basically decouple top and bottom progression ? 
Also it seems there are only 3 states for each (Shy->Bold-Shameless)
which does not completely match the "regular progression" (Covered->underwear/bra->Showing->topless/bottomless)

I'm particularly concerned because: 
1- Bare uses the "normal" progression system. Is a bit less clear how would the new split-progression work here.
2- I'm building another mod that relies heavily on the progression system. You can read some information on it here

Is work in progress, I only did a proof of concept so I can still go back to the drawing board easily. 

 

I can redesign the new mod to match both progressions, but at least I'd need a 1-1 match between each progression.

I'm not sure why everyone is uppity about the phone number requirement but fine, I'll get rid of that. If I start getting a bunch of scam bots though I'm turning it back on.

I decoupled Top/Bottom progression for the Simple system, yes. The Strict system is the original progression.

Correct, because I can only make 3 ranks for top/bottom specifically that both make sense and are distinguishable from the other ranks.

The Strict and Simple modesty systems are effectively independent. So you should only have to make a separate tracker for each. 

 

Based on your mod idea, this shouldn't be difficult to incorporate. Perhaps it will be more time consuming than you originally hoped, but it's certainly not impossible.

This breaks partial (modular) nudity detection from DFFMA for me. Character only covers herself fully when not wearing slot 32. Wearing slot 52 doesn't effect animations at all. Activating Dynamic Modesty in MCM does nothing.

Slots don't matter. The guide says that. (At the time of writing, no it didn't)

No, it doesn't. If there was a single hint anywhere in your Guide that your modesty system eliminates DFFMA detection system I wouldn't be here wasting anyone's time.

Nope. Just a regular TAWOBA slot 52 thong, which works out of the box with DFFMA. I just wanted to let the mod author know that AND breaks DFFMA system, but apparently it's an intended behavior (I still can't believe it is. why?! but whatever)

I thought I had explained that in my guide, but apparently not. Perhaps it was explained in my mod's description in the past, but at some point I seem to have removed that due to trying to make the description more compact.

 

I apologize for the misunderstanding. I deal with a lot of people who don't read my Guides and FAQs, so that tends to be my default answer.

 

AND doesn't "break" DFFMA, it alters its behavior to utilize AND's factions instead of DFFMA's built in keywords because DFFMA's keywords are insufficient to reflect AND's coverage statuses - plus DFFMA's default system is horribly inefficient. Therefore, you probably just don't have the proper keywords attached to your armor.

 

AND only cares about finding its own keywords UNLESS none are found. Only then does it care about ANY armor slots and even then it only cares about Slot 32 and assumes that it's a Vanilla armor and gives you full coverage. Therefore, regardless of anything, Slot 52 doesn't matter.

Thank you for your mod! However, I have a bit of a problem. Whenever I turn it on, all the dynamic modesty animations stop working. I've tried turning the mod off and the modesty animations started working again.

What could be the issue?

May be dumb question, but for KID for armor sets, is there any downside to just adding all of them even if you don't have the armor? Shouldn't that help future proof it in case you add the armor in the future?

There is technically no downside, no. However make sure you don't have duplicates or conflicting assignments.

What do i have to do if i want modesty animations when i'm detected by a woman? I have been looking trough the oar conditions in game but i don't seem to find the right one. So far i disabled every condition of "not isfemale" under detection and detected by, but that doesn't do it.

Reading the description in regards to Keywords:

Modifying Keywords - This adds and removes specific relevant keywords to make them match the conversion armor set. Some keywords are slot specific. This also includes changing underlying "Cloth/Light/Heavy" armor type which isn't exactly a keyword but fits here.

 

It seems to me that this implies it will give the outfit the keywords from the reference armor (VendorItem, ArmorType, etc) rather than letting you assign specific keywords from other mods

yes I have.

 

Basically:

  1. pick whatever mod you want to add keywords too, for example Apachii DE
  2. let's say you want to make all dresses half-naked. Search for "dress"
  3. Then there is a button like "custom keywords" somewhere. Click that.
  4. Then import keywords (only the first time): pick AND and whatever mods you like. I recommend picking SLA too => keywords are added
  5. Check the boxes for the AND keyword half-naked: accept ->voila
  6. now your new keywords are inside Overwrite so don't forget to create a mod with them for your later playthrough. I have a dedicate QAR mod that receives the updates I make across different playthroughs for that purpose

 

You can even distribute items as dungeon treasure, change item slots...all directly in-game which is amazing for people like me who hate SSEdit and relaunching Skyrim

I wondered about this as well and seem to have found a solution! (Though I haven't tested if this works with AND, only with DFFMA itself)

 

You need to edit line 56 of the Modesty_Detection_DISTR.ini file provided here (mod page of DFFMA) as such:

> Keyword = ModestyDetectionFaction|ActorTypeNPC|||M

becomes

> Keyword = ModestyDetectionFaction|ActorTypeNPC

 

(I assume this would also work if you wanted to only be detected by women by changing M to F)

Interesting. I may have a look at this.

 

currently I just use KID files that I can copy/paste into the Data folder. I only need SSEEdit to grab the Editor Names/ID's of the outfit pieces, and these I can export to a csv file for easy reference/use in creating the KID file.

Easy to modify or add to outside the game as well.
