Yes, VTAW rocks but I'm talking about just wearing the Kziitd items, like the harnesses, without the trapped/encumbered effects that the Devious Devices items have.

 

You know, wearing just for looks

Faced a bug. I can't say what triggers it, I've just been messing around with spawning NPCs and testing AAF Violent with various consequences. After the second rape, my character seems to have... two extra arms? The hands are missing, and there is some clipping in the butt area. I have no idea how or why it happened, probably an extra outfit/accessory applied and caused it. My mod order is way too complicated and fucked up, so it's probably my fault, but I still wanted to report the bug in case someone has any ideas.

Well that's a new one.  You somehow have both the KFT body mesh and the vanilla body mesh equipped.  I'm not sure how that would happen since they are supposed to occupy the same body slots.

I too seem to be experiencing the gag bug, but my case is a little more severe.

 

During a SexHarassment scene, someone locked that MetalGag-Rhinowhatever (the full-head iron mask) on my character's head. And it isn't going away. It really, seriously, will not go away.

 

I gave myself a key, unlocked it, removed it, tossed it in the grinder. After that, my character remained stuck with gag-speak. CallFunction "ObjectReference.SetOverrideVoiceType" None removed that effect, except...

 

If I fast travel on the map, the mask and its effects reappear, unequipping my headwear, blinding and gagging me, again.

If I access certain crafting benches, the mask reappears.

If SexHarassment scenes trigger, when when deliberately set such that the NPC removes DD/KFT's 100 percent of the time, they'll do the scene, remove anything the add until I'm naked, and walk away. And then the mask reappears.

If I reload the save, the mask reappears.

Sometimes it just reappears on its own... like, in the middle of battles, which ends badly.

 

So, I thought, fine, let's start tearing out mods. I removed SexHarassment, AAF Violate, and every other AAF mod I had installed, until all that remains are AAF itself, its animations, Devious Devices, and KFT. The mask continues to reappear. Maybe Amazing Follower Tweaks had decided it was somehow part of my permanent wardrobe...? Nope, tore that out too.

 

Then I tried removing KFT, and discovered that if I do that, and I try to save the game as a new save or quicksave, the game crashes to desktop. Every time. Removing KFT is the only mod removal that causes this to happen.

 

I tried removing the KFT mod and then scrubbing every reference to KFT out of the save file with ReSaver, loaded up the save, tried to save, crash. Tried again, upon quicktravel, crash. Something is trying to put that mask back on me and if it can't do it, it crashes the game....

 

I turned KFT back on. Loaded the pre-surgery save, bam, mask repeared, blind, gagged, as usual. Saving and quicktravel worked again.

 

I cannot uninstall KFT to clear this bug. I cannot get rid of this ridiculous iron mask bug. I don't have older saves worth falling back to. This is the third time I've restarted a brand new game, because some catastrophic game-killer keeps hitting me at L40+ and I'd like to NOT have to start over AGAIN.

 

How do I uninstall KFT and/or kill this problem?

Oh boy, that sounds like a corrupted save problem. I've had that with other mods.

 

The problem is that Fallout 4 makes changes to the ini files with every new game and that if that change is unstable, it doesn't matter if you go back to previous saves. They are all corrupted because they are referencing an unstable line.

 

However, my problem went away with a new game because that file was created fresh without the unstable reference.

 

So, try a new game. see if it still happens

Hello, I have this mod as it was a requirement from another mod, there is a "Gag Sound Effect" that has kept running even though the gag was removed several RL days ago. The sound just cycles over and over and over and over, 24/7. At first when I noticed this I simply put the gag back on, left it for a minute then took it back off, *No change, I've tried applying other gags for a minute or so and remove them, still cycles over and over. I've tried Fallrim but it doesn't find anything. How do I check for "Active effects" so I can "Stop That", This is really getting to be a problem?

My character no longer receives a gag, even if she agrees via SH. However, I set the chance to 10% in the MCM. I thought this only affected Violate.
Does the setting also affect SH, where she only receives a gag in 10% of speeches, even if she agrees?

I took a peek at the SH scripts and it uses nested leveled lists that incorporate the default (MCM-controlled) KFT leveled lists.  So yeah that would explain your issue.

I think it's like this.
The equipment chance in KFT's mcm settings affects all mods that use that item. 
You know what? Even if I treat the mesh resources inside KFT as Equipment data without any scripts for clothing used in AAF animations, as long as their armor items have the same item type keywords as KFT's, they're still affected by the chances of KFT's mcm settings affecting whether or not they'll be worn at the start of AAF.

Won't be any help with your particular problem, but i got a noob question: how do you generate that "savefile read"? Is it a mod or a MO2 function?

It looks as if you have several different devices "fighting" over which one can stay equipped on your character.  I can't tell if all or any of them are from KFT, but since you have suspended stacks from KFT functions that is probably the case.  KFT devices would normally yield to Devious Devices but it's hard to tell what is going on there.

 

Try going into the Debug/Testing Options menu in KFT's MCM and turn Set Global Unlock to ON.  That will force any KFT devices to give up and allow themselves to be fully unequipped.  I can't guarantee this will fix your problem but it's worth a try.

 

Out of curiosity, when / how did this start?  I assume at some point some mod equipped one or more devices from DD and/or KFT on your character?

It's FG out  of the box. There's a separate conversion for CBBE, but you wont need that.

It first happened when I had a LCC-installed outfit with the "no healing" attribute. When I lost HP, it started doing the same thing.

But now there was no HP loss.

However, the way I look at it, three mods came into play. Latex Collar Curse, Cursed DD Enchantings (with Devious Device, Torture devices and Real handcuffs), and KFT. Maybe some more.

I tried quitting, disabling them one by one, and then loading the save, but the situation did not change. Since ReSaver referred to the KFT script, saying that it could cause problems, that's what became the main suspect, but I'm not sure if it really caused it. I just have no idea.
