You are worrying about a situation which I can say is the least likely to occur in all Fo4 adult mods.
There's a lot that needs updating/additions.

My apologies then. I sent a message asking about a mod you made. I was hoping not disturbing you as now updating mods takes a long time.

Hi I really like this mod but for some reason I can't get some of it to work properly. For example the bodysuits, fuckdoll suits and some harnesses don't seem to appear on my character for some reason. The animations work but my character is just stripped naked without the KFT items showing. I have also installed the bodyslide files but the harness/corset textures seem to go through my character's body (yes I have the skeleton mod installed). Is there any solution to this?

New Version 1.0 Beta 3 uploaded

Main File and Compatibility Patches have been updated

  • Compatibility Patches is now two files, one for DD and one for RH.  Install either or both as needed.
  • The new compatibility patches allow KFT leg animations to work with the RH and DD arm devices and vice versa
  • KFT will now react appropriately if player is bound in DD or RH devices and attempts to remove KFT devices or vice versa
  • Modified the effect removal code to avoid changing AnimArchetype on Player while in Pip-Boy, which can soft lock the game
  • Added KZEB_Struggling keyword to Player when Player is struggling to escape devices, for third-party mods (see this post for API details)

As always, it is safe to update this mod in a running save.

Got a bug that I think is from this mod. Violate put a gag on my character and I took it off, but I can no longer talk to companions, as in if I get close to them the command prompt goes away, but talk doesn't show up instead. I can still talk by starting a command and then moving close to them, but its awkward. if I put the gag back on the talk prompt works fine except I get the gagged dialogue. I have had gags before in this save and had no other problems.

That is odd.  What version of KFT were you using when this happened?  How did you remove / unlock the gag?  Anything unusual happening at the time?

Those are not ready yet, the animations use a new equipment handling method in AAF that is still in development.

I'm seeing the same problem. Anyone knows what could be the problem?

 

In my case I'm using CBBE. KZT was working properly, but suddenly I started seeing this problem.

I went back and disabled a mod I had recently added, Discrete Female Skeleton (DFS), and the problem went away. Everything is rendering properly now....

Using beta 2.4. I think I unlocked the gag with a key, but it may have been cut off, I can't remember. I was fighting supermutants in the library and violate triggered twice in quick succession, I think the turrets / robots started firing at them during the first violate, as one of my companions ( I have a normal one and heather from the heather casdin mod) was just standing around while some supermutants still were attacking her the first time. then round 2 happened almost immediately after round 1 ended. I think the gag was put on in round 1. round 2 was normal.

I do have a save I can reload if needed, I just would like to fix it if possible if nothing else to make sure I have a solution if it happens again and I havent saved in a while

Now I'm even more confused. I went to try a few things to see if they helped and it seems to be working this way even on saves that are from before it started happening. I'm wondering if I did something that changed a setting in the mod / game and its caried over to the other saves like some settings do.

 

To be clear the behavior I'm talking about is pressing E on an active companion used to directly start a dialogue with them if I was real close. if farther away it would bring up the command interaction, and if I got closer to the companion with that up then I get the talk / trade / stay / whatever the 4th option is menu. Now it just goes straight to that menu at close range, there's no way to go straight to dialogue.

Hi, not too sure how do i describe it? how do i know if i have installed the latest version? any command i can use to verify?

I asked because i had uninstalled the old version beta 2.4 with mod organizer and then reinstalled this new version beta 3.

 

when i restarted the game, i don't see any pop up message like KFT installed or anything and in the Mod Config Menu, it is still showing beta 2.4.

but i am certain the beta 3 is installed and enabled as it is shown in the mod organizer.

Ah yeah I forgot to update the version number in the MCM config file.  Sorry about that.

 

To verify you have the latest version, open the console and run the command

help KZEB_ActorStruggling 4 kywd

 

The output of that should include a line like

KYWD: KZEB_ActorStruggling (XX02D0CE)

 

That keyword was added in the latest version, so Beta 2.4 won't have it but Beta 3 will.

Dunno if anyone else even have this anymore but I downloaded this mod a while back, played with it for quite sometimes throughout the main FO4 questline but I still have this one tiny problem which is the fact that every gag that supposed to open the character's mouth didn't actually opened the character's mouth, like for example when I wear the open mouth kitty gag, I can still see the chin and not an opened mouth.

 

So I thought to myself, Okay, maybe the solution is in Bodyslide (My first time using it), and turns out I can only edit the body and not the head (I'm a big dummy, I know), did I forgot to download something or did I do something horribly wrong?

yeah. i got it. my output is 0902D0CE. Thank, i have verified that i had installed beta 3 correctly.

The mouth opening feature requires the LLFP plugin that comes with AAF.  If that isn't loaded the morphs won't work.

I don't know if it has been reported yet but the open gag mouths, the ring gag or dental gag ones are finnicky while an animation from the same mod is playing. When you put it on it works normally, but when you select the struggle option and the animation plays the character closes their mouth even while wearing the open gag, then reopens their mouth again once the animation is done.

From an earlier post on this topic I read there's a flag in KFT to not use lip movement but F4z Ro D'oh for silent voice doesn't honor that flag so when you struggle (like when PC says "damn it") the lips still move.

 

You can disable that mod but silent dialog in other mods may be unskippable (like SH). Guess we'll have to wait for an update for now.

Hey thanks for the reply. I'm not talking about lip movement. Im talking about everytime a struggling animation starts the mouth closes instead of staying open for the gag to fit. I thought it was only open mouth gags but its actually on every gag.

I also dont use Fuz D-Roh

Found a bug in latest version. Everytime female character got gagged it's always with a cleartape piece even if cleartape restrains are disabled.

I haven't seen that in my testing, and the equipment handling hasn't changed in a couple of versions.

 

Note however that gags are handled separately from the other bondage devices.  For example, tape and leather gags can appear with rope bondage even if tape and leather bondage are disabled.  So you might just be getting unlucky.

 

Also, how are these gags being applied?  Not every mod will use the random device system controlled by KFT's MCM.  AAF Violate does, but I can't guarantee other mods will, that's up to the mod author to decide.
