torn Posted August 2, 2014 Posted August 2, 2014 The problem I have. I hire a prostitute, offer it to the client for the first time everything is fine, but after sex disappear necessary dialogues offering her to customers and dialogues dances.
TheDriedFinger Posted August 2, 2014 Author Posted August 2, 2014 Does saving your game and reloading help? There are a lot of conditions on the dialogue options, so Skyrim can sometimes take a bit of time to reassess them, which can cause the issue you are describing.
torn Posted August 2, 2014 Posted August 2, 2014 Does saving your game and reloading help? There are a lot of conditions on the dialogue options, so Skyrim can sometimes take a bit of time to reassess them, which can cause the issue you are describing. It started with a version v1.8.6.1b. Prior to version v1.8.6.1b such problems were not.
TheDriedFinger Posted August 2, 2014 Author Posted August 2, 2014 I haven't changed the dialogue conditions or anything else that could specifically cause such an issue since many versions ago. That said, I certainly have experienced the issue you are describing, again since many versions ago. It seems to me that the issue is caused simply due to the game not reassessing dialogue conditions fast enough. Usually, saving and reloading fixes it for me (at least for that instance). I will note this in the Bugs section of the description page.
Pfactor Posted August 3, 2014 Posted August 3, 2014 I'm having trouble assigning cities for the whores to work in. Â I've created copies of various vanilla NPCs that I can do with as I wish. Most are only physical copies but some are duplicates except for name changes and a few appearance tweaks. Â One of the duplicates was of Adrienne Avinici of whiterun. I added her duplicate via console, trained her and made her whore of Whiterun. First I had to assign Warmaiden's as her home using MHIYH mod. Â Next I went to Falkreath and added a copy of Nenya, the steward of Falkreath. I trained her up, made Dead Man's Drink her home, but when I would do the city dialogue options, only Whiterun would appear. Do I need to be a Thane of a city for this to work? I tried this again outside but no luck. The difference between Nenya and Adrienne would be Nenya was only an appearance copy.
germanicus Posted August 3, 2014 Posted August 3, 2014 Pfactor -you must have purchased a house in those cities. MY home is your home mod is not enough.
Pfactor Posted August 3, 2014 Posted August 3, 2014 Pfactor -you must have purchased a house in those cities. MY home is your home mod is not enough. Okay. Thanks for the quick update. I have not done that quest on this game yet. Â But MHIYH did work for when the dialogue did not appear for the whiterun girls, after I bought breezehome.
germanicus Posted August 3, 2014 Posted August 3, 2014 TMHIYH works as a standalone mod great for your followers, but TDF's mod requires to have (buy) a house in the city so that city whoring will be triggered properly.
Guest Posted August 3, 2014 Posted August 3, 2014 @TDF  like i  said, your mod is fine. But others often not. spouses enhanced and defeat to name 2 popular examples. of course everything could still work. but having more and more mods with dirty edits will increase the chance of bugs. at first i didn't test any sexlab plugin. i thought, the modding knowlege here is bigger, it should be good. but i was wrong apparently.

BTW, in the vanilla game Falkreath has NOT a house to be purchased. It's added only with Hearthfire DLC and I don't think it could be used for that purpose. Not counting that TDF has stated clearly into the OP that the house whoring works only in the MAIN cities.

Oh, I wan't criticizing you at all. I just wanted to clarify that my mod is, as far as I can see, clean. In fact, I'm happy that you posted your previous post; it encouraged me to actually check it in TES5Edit.   TMHIYH works as a standalone mod great for your followers, but TDF's mod requires to have (buy) a house in the city so that city whoring will be triggered properly. I don't own the Hearthfire DLC, so I wouldn't be able to add support for its homes even if I wanted to (but, of course, I would never want to alienate non-DLC players).
azmodan22 Posted August 3, 2014 Posted August 3, 2014 I installed the latest version and I got to say I love the new city feature.. Got a few suggestions though. I asked Lydia to worke in Whiterun and everything workes out as it is supposed to. However, since the chance of finding a client depends on their arousal level. most of the time she just sits in the market. When she does she just takes him home, enter exit and thats it. Tha part is fine, I dont think you can change anything. The "problem", is when the player is inside the house. At that time, lydia will go out and will start looking for a client. What I understand though is Whiterun as a cell is not loaded, since you are in breezehome, and thus neither are the NPCs in Whiterun and their arousal lvls. So Lydia will never find a client. Â I would suggest that while the player is in the house, the prostitute assigned for that city, will return with a random NPC from that city in regular intervals (so you can also see here having a few clients while you are there) instead of relying ont their arousal to find them.Â
TheDriedFinger Posted August 3, 2014 Author Posted August 3, 2014 Just to mention something: if you enter the house as they are travelling towards it (or even if you enter the house right after them), you should see the NPCs initiate an animation. Â You are correct that you must be in the same cell as the prostitute for the scene to even start up (i.e. the prostitute will never find a client if the player is not in the same cell as them). This is just how Actor Dialogue Events (which this new feature uses because it's more streamlined) works. Â Now, I'm not sure that I can implement the feature you are describing without constant update events (which is what I wanted to avoid in the first place; that's why I opted to use Actor Dialogue Events). Now, I certainly don't know everything about using the CK, so if someone else has an idea on how to implement this using another method, please tell me.
mojodajojo Posted August 3, 2014 Posted August 3, 2014 Damn, I need to upgrade; this is my favorite Ho mod. Too lazy to do it tonight.Â

Â
mojodajojo Posted August 3, 2014 Posted August 3, 2014 I'm too lazy to read this thread, but I'll say the biggest bug I've run into is that some npcs will travel great distances. (Even into dungeons to try to get some Ho action.)   I'm like sorry I'm stealth killing draugrs so go get killed by a mudcrab on the way back. Surprised you made it here
TheDriedFinger Posted August 4, 2014 Author Posted August 4, 2014 That shouldn't be happening. They should never travel into a new cell (i.e. into a dungeon) to find a bed (I specifically set it so that the bed must be in the same cell that they are currently in when the scene starts). Now, if the client and the prostitute started talking to each other in a dungeon, then it is possible that they would travel deeper into the dungeon to find a bed. Of course, I could be misunderstanding you.
mojodajojo Posted August 4, 2014 Posted August 4, 2014 It's with TDF Aggressive Prostitution - v1_8_6_1b.  What I meant, was that people from Riverwood would approach me inside Bleak Falls Barrow to try to solicit sex after I'd recently danced. I dance a lot in Riverwood exterior areas, and have had it happen in several save games. It's funny watching Sten die in a blade trap after a hooker rejects his advances.  Possibly save game corruption on my end, though, that is sad if my games are borking so fast it's happening before I even get to Whiterun.   Edit: Anyway, I'm about to upgrade to v 2.0 when I get back from the convenience store.  Re-Edit: I'm betting this is caused by stupidity on my part. I bet I'm accidently clicking on the follow me and let's do it thing when they approach at times, but thinking I'm telling them no. Then when I run off to some other cell, they slowly follow me.
TheDriedFinger Posted August 4, 2014 Author Posted August 4, 2014 That's even funnier than I imagined! I suppose it is possible that your character danced, and an NPC attempted to approach the player character, but you ran away fast enough all the way into a dungeon. LOL Once the PC says no, the NPC should stop bothering you for about one in-game hour IIRC. Also, the magic effect should dispel every time that you move to a different "location" (you can think of them as groups of related cells; even the outside cells make up many many different locations that should all trigger the dispelling).
mojodajojo Posted August 4, 2014 Posted August 4, 2014 Yeah, it seems like an obvious rare thing to me now, but I'm good at breaking things.   Edit: I even purposely recreated the bug a bit ago in another area, but not with the same distance between bleak falls barrow and riverwood.   Thing is I test a lot of my own little modlets, and I literally sprint most of the way to bleak falls from riverwood, and that's probably the issue. Repetition has allowed me to really min/max the starting area stuff without even thinking about it.
TheDriedFinger Posted August 5, 2014 Author Posted August 5, 2014 I'm going to add in a check that stops the quest, assuming the NPC is in the state where they will initiate dialogue, whenever the player changes locations.
pspjoker29 Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 hey r the breasts supposed to have no nipples and umm penis supposed to just look light colored and not look right if not please tell me wat I did wrong Â
TheDriedFinger Posted August 5, 2014 Author Posted August 5, 2014 OK, those questions don't pertain to this mod; they belong in a different thread (perhaps in this forum: http://www.loverslab.com/forum/39-skyrim-technical-support/). Â A lack of nipples, I'll interpret that as a texture problem. A common issue is to incorrectly install CBBE-based meshes with UNP-based textures, or vice versa, which can cause misplaced nipples. Â With regards to the penis texture problem, I don't have enough knowledge to tell you anything besides the fact that it is somehow related to textures, but whether it has to do with the actual files or the game using them improperly I can't say.
kralgar1 Posted August 5, 2014 Posted August 5, 2014 I actually turned on the foreplay animations in sexlab (been awhile heh) and This mod uses them but it also picks them as main animations once the foreplay is finished. I suppose a customer could request that but it just seems a bit out of place. Sorry if this is intended!Â
TheDriedFinger Posted August 5, 2014 Author Posted August 5, 2014 @kralgar1: Thank you for mentioning that. I never quite paid enough attention in that regard. I believe I have fixed it now with the version I just uploaded.
