Psychonaut Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 less than 5.0??? are u serious? it's 71.0 and yes he's fuckin frustrating me what a nasty old fucker EDIT: i just waited 48h and it's still 71.0 you need to play, wait whit the key T don´t do nothing, if you don´t want wait you can use the code ¨set agrimsatiation to 4.0¨ or, if you don´t want to use that code, you can use ¨set timescale to (big number)¨ and for restore the original time scale, put ¨set timescasle to 16¨ sorry my bad english okay, playing not waiting. that's something i didn't know. that's the reason i already used ¨set agrimsatiation to 4.0¨, but after kneeling down he said about urges and thinking straight or something like that, it fades out for a sec, then i'm kneeling in the middle of the room and nothing happened. talking to him again repeats the procedure. i don't think my english is much better
stobor Posted December 11, 2013 Author Posted December 11, 2013 What you describe doesn't match what should happen, nor have I seen that bug reported previously. Off hand, I'd say the quest is broken in your game. Please post what stage the quest claims to be at ('sqs angrimapprenticequest', the last stage with a '1' next to it).
Psychonaut Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 it's stage 60. then tell me what should happen. EDIT: now it works.
Psychonaut Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 hmm... it skipped stage 80 and 90 after sex with his summoned dremora he tells me that he has no further use for me. at stage 70 he tells me that there's only one lesson left, but what's with the other 2 stages?? EDIT: okay, now i got them. i have seen all 3 endings, but what's that radiant quest and arcadia's love elexir?
stobor Posted December 11, 2013 Author Posted December 11, 2013 The Love Elixir tie-in is just local color (and some minor treasure), at least at the moment.
Psychonaut Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 finally i have to say: nice mod, a bit short, but funny a few new quests would be cool, maybe some where angrim discovered a new daedra realm of perversion with quests and the opportunity to become a succubus.
stobor Posted December 11, 2013 Author Posted December 11, 2013 Thanks. By the end of the path with the dremora, your character is a mortal approximation of a succubus. And if you play a Succubus Race character from the start, the mod will take that into account in minor ways: some spells will be a bit more powerful, but you need sex to sustain your power.
Psychonaut Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 unfortunately i'm no succubus race hmm...then i should choose the dremora end? or is it better to have angrim as a thrall?
stobor Posted December 11, 2013 Author Posted December 11, 2013 The dremora ending is (in my opinion) a more interesting challenge. The thrall ending is at least as powerful, without the downside effects - but because of that, it is also less challenging for ongoing play. Which one you prefer, depends on the character and your play style.
Psychonaut Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 i prefer the challenge. another question: why is the belt still a questobject after finishing the quest? i want to get rid of it.
Discord12 Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 Im confused. The description of the game says the questline is meant for "beginners". But right at the start he will tell you to find "Sam" in a tavern. Now the only Sam I know is Sam Guevenne, and he only appears once you hit level 14 ! How can that be for "low levels" ? Then again, He also told me to go see the dibella temple. I went there and nothing happened, nothing was there to be found =(
nameless701 Posted December 11, 2013 Posted December 11, 2013 You can start the Angrims Quest with a Level 1 Char. (you need a lot of Magicka...thats the problem) You need the Dibella-Quest for the third Ending.

EDIT: i just I cleaned up my inventory and i saw the "beer soaked spell tome". there was no option to show it to angrim and i forgot it, but now i have to ask: what is it for? what can i do with it? and i still wanna know how to get rid of the belt (it's still a quest object although i finished it)
stobor Posted December 11, 2013 Author Posted December 11, 2013 @Psychonaut: Regarding the belt staying as quest item: it is a bug. Regarding the beer-soaked spell tome (Dalliance quest): Next time you wake up, there should be a visitor... @Discord12: Last time I checked, the comment about Sam had a min level of 14 as a prerequisite. Maybe I've botched it up.

Discord12 Posted December 13, 2013 Posted December 13, 2013 @Discord12: Last time I checked, the comment about Sam had a min level of 14 as a prerequisite. Maybe I've botched it up. Exactly my point. The description of the mod says "it is designed for early-game use". And that's just plainly wrong. lvl 14 is by no means "early game". Also, I think this mod needs some major changes in dialogues to make sense: You find an old man in a basement. He says he is doing "research". Next thing you can do is ask him to teach you magic. WTF? "Research" does by no means link to "magic". He could do research on "Inner Ear Lobes" for all we know at that point! How does the character even come to that conclusion ?! When we ask him to teach us, next thing he tells us to give him a blow job. Srsly? We still have NO PROVE or even a faint hint he is a magician. And YEAH: the fact he is living in an abandoned basement, alone and asks me out of nowhere to give him a blow job does NOT make him very trustworthy. Not even the dumbest and most naive human on earth would do that. But ok. at that point we still want to play, because we are hoping for some sexy and naughty stuff in an immersive and roleplaying way... but what happens next after you give him a blowjob so he would teach you (and give you that minor magic effect): Exactly. Nothing. You ask him if he can teach you now, and he says no. Well HELL YEAH! That totally doesnt make him look like a horny old scumbag that just scammed you! At that point we should kill him and leave, assuming he is nothing but a fraud. But hey, he tells you we should go find "Sam" in Taverns. Assuming we really started the questline "Early on" we can look for ages since he will not appear until we hit lvl 14, and even then its extremely hard to find him, since he will randomly be in a tavern, waiting for you. And not just in a tavern in one of the main cities, but ANY. And yeah, "talk to Sam" is not listed as a quest, so you wont have a questmarker and prolly no idea if that will further the quest or not... But hey... there are books with Quests to keep you busy! But then again, you are mostly to low lvl to finish those quest, - that are nothing but some spell tomes added to a random "end dungeon chest".... Wow, great quest! And once you managed this herculean feat to get those books (Oh did I mention they can potentially spawn in dungeon that are quest locked? Or in Solstheim? or Falskaar?) the next disappointement is waiting for you: Those books wont be ANY use of you, unless you are already a darn good mage. Yeah, one might ask himself why a DARN GOOD MAGE would ask a lonely old pervy hermit in a abandoned basement if he can teach him magic... EDITED: Since this information is wrong =) Dibella quest wills tart at any point and you can just walk into the room without locks. turns out I had some other mod stuck there. And then there is this Quest with Dibella... Which will most likely be the next major frustration. I was told this questline requires you to disturb the ceremony of the priestess which occurs the first time you enter the tempel. Now chances are high that you: - Are higher level and / or already been in the tempel, and you got nothing to disturb left. - You chose (from a roleplaying perspective) not to disturb them since the kind priestess ask you not to. - You aren't able to pick the (very hard) Lock on the tempel door and thus cant even disturb them - You are a thief, thus able to pick the lock, but you are sneaky enough to robe them blind without disturbing th ceremony. All those cases make this quest, once again unplayable. And what happens once you find sam? I finally managed to find him, and I was hoping he would further the mod but no. He simply starts the vanilla Quest (and I hate that long and annyoing questline). So once again this mod does absolutely nothing but link to vanilly quests / Dungeons. So yeah, until now this mod is nothing but a major frustrating point, mainly because I see such great potential in all of that, and I am given enourmos plot holes, and logical errors. I was hoping to be able to have a teacher / student relationship with that mod, where the teacher takes advantages of his (slightly naive or without a choice) student to get (all kinds of pervy) sex and maybe even someone to do his dirtywork. This is also what the discription of the mod tells me, but so long, I have been greatly disappointed and left with some hope the mod will get better. Sorry for the wall of text. I jsut had to get it off my chest and hopefully, it helps to improve the mod. 1

I jsut had to get it off my chest and hopefully, it helps to improve the mod. i totaly agree with you in many points. exept the vanillia quests, i really liked this part it makes the mod more inkluding to the world of skyrim. just the way you get that quests is a bit curios. i mean why would angrim tell you ways to escape his trap? doesnt make sense... i was trying to rebuild that mod a bit and started with overworking the basement. new living room so that it looks more like there is living a mage. loot of rabish in the corners becouse i dont think he will spend a loot of time to clean up his room, hes busy with research. i have added a loot of bookshelfs a fire atronarch in a cage more idles to let him run around a full laboratory with enchanter and alchemytable and inkrediens and finally a ritual spot. not to difrent from stobors but i tryed to add flames around that cirkel placed like a pentagram and they shoud grow on evrey stage from the sexanims. after i was done with that stobor updated his.... everything for nothing. i really shout falsflag the mod as a esm befor i chance stuff...^^ i wanted to redo the way how the quest begins, as you sayd the hello give me a blowjob way isnt very belefable and in my imagination angrim is a tricky old mage how should be able to trick a young upcoming wizzardgirl in a more subtile way than that and the whole proces shout be a loot smouther. first step i wanted to do is that angrim doesnt want to tell the player anything it should look like: player is entering the basement ant walking around untile he finds angrim, maybe an scene where angrim is coming to look how is disturbing his work but thats a loot more work.. starting the dialog: player: hello how are you and what is that here? angrim: how iam? by oblivion how are you and what you are doing in my home? player: iam a advanturer and was looking around for some things of interrest. are you a mage? for what are all that books? angrim: a advanturer.. again. yes iam a mage angrim is my name and iam very busy right now. can you leave pleace? player: sorry for disturbing you, what are you doing? maybe i can help you with? angrim: why should i tell you that, your wasting my time leave now! player: please, iam really intrestet in magic cant you tell me more? angrim: no! player: cant i do something for you to chance your mind? somebody may think that heres the point to get a blowjob but really... no not jet! angrim: to oblivion with you. i guise i have no coice, i will tell you a bit but only if you promise to leave me alone after that and i want something for excange for the time i have to waist with you and your questions. player: ok sounds fair, what do you want from me? no still no blowjob to easy... angrim: my room needs to be cleand and i had no good meal since days, clean evrything exept the laboratory and cook somthing for me. player: ok thats nothing to big, i will do that. dialog ends here quest start: cook and clean for angrim. some events on aktivation for cleaning maybe linked with the idle same for cooking after the player finisht evrything new dialog with angrim. maybe a scene where he is walking to his table to get the meal. now angrim should talk about his work it should sound impressive maybe some text frome wiki about magic, but nothing to explainging. also some parts about himself, so i think that he could tell the player that when he was younger he was very skillet in destruktion and restoration but his true favorit is conjuration and hes researching now new ways in that kind of magic. after all of that IMPRESSIVE stuff the player is able to ask angrim about a apprentice, now it should be clear that angrim is skilled in magic and can teach the player some things. angrim isnt willing to get a new apprentice and tells the player that he had one but allways has to go to rescue her becouse she was caught by bandits or enslaved by falmer and he doesnt want somebody how cant watch after himself. only somebody special how can finish his test will be become a chance to be his apprentice. the dialog can end here if the player doesnt finisht the quest with the dragon on the guard tower. if the player has finisht the quest a option should show up for something like: player: i can watch after myself and i am a dragonborn, is that enough? angrim: a dragonborne? how do you know that? player: i killed a dragon right outside your basement. angrim: oh, that explains the terrible noise in the past. thought it was an earthquake. player: no, it was me fighting the dragon. they are back and i need to get stronger to defeat them. angrim: i see. if they are back somebody should taking care of them. but iam only willing to teach you if you are finish my test. angrim tells the player that he will teach him a spell, that spell should not do anything and is only for the test and that spell is only working if the player has some of the sexbuffs from angrim. moin reason of that is becouse now angrim starts the trick. becouse the player isnt finishing the test, ofcourse not he has no sexbuffs to cast that spells. angrim is telling the player that he is to week for being his apprentice if the player asks for help to get stronger angrim tells the player he can start to read all that books in his basement and maybe in ten or twelf years he will be ready. new quest: read that books. quest text: i dont have time to read all that books but maybe i find something to get stronger. there will be a book hiden behind some others in a small chest that explains that theres a spell to improve the magical potential but the book is burned and the player isnt able to read more about that spell. new quest stage: talk with angrim about that spell. the player now can talk with angrim about that spell and he will thell him that this spell is from his last apprentice and he isnt willing to explain how it works. after some confiktion work he finaly tells the player that this spell requires to have sex with its caster, that means him. i was thinking about multible path how it is going on from this point. the eseyast way is that the player is willing to do that to get stronger. the other way is that he isnt willing, on that path angrim tells the player that he can try to finish finish that spell for the test, what would be properly never. on this path the player can talk again about having sex with angrim to get more magical potential with thre options. 1. the player agrees, he has no choice and to get stronger he is willing to do that. 2. the player can tell angrim that he isnt willing to sleep with an old man its to disgusting for him. on that path angrim overs that there is a poition in whiterun that could make it easyer for her if the player choice that way he have to make farengars quest to get that poition as we know from previus version. otherwise it will end on the 3. 3. stage is that the player never will be the apprentice and it ends here. basic thinking behind that is that angrim pushes the player to have sex with him without involving himself to much. hes simple lying about that spell and book that he has placed so that the player finds a way to finish the test by himself. what he properly doesnt tells somebody. i havent done it becouse this mod is stobors work and ill respekt the hard work he had with. iam shure it toke him days to make everything work so i simple say thank you for sharing.
Discord12 Posted December 13, 2013 Posted December 13, 2013 I kept playing the mod and I have to say it gets more and more disappointing: after you finished those two vanilla quests (Dibella and Night to remember) which I still find disturbing and annoying, since they dont really make sense (at least not until the part of the story from angrimm where I am) you return to angrimm to find him say nothing. After having sex with him a couple of times (which sexy hot woman wouldnt want to f**k a old wrinkly guy for no reason at all?) he finally offers me to each me a spell... wohoo! Guess what... Without being a high level mage (with a focus in illusion magic) you most likely wont be able to cast any of those. unless you cheat. From now on the "story" is: YOU: Teach me something new! ANGRIMM: OK, but I need to fuck you first. Scene: he fucks you, you got a new spell. wait 2 hours (in game), rinse, repeat. after learning about 5 spells like this (which are btw completely useless unless you happen to be an illusion mage, and have a follower you can fuck on demand, and even then they are kinda underpowered) After that (last spell I learned was "drain vital life force" or so) he now keeps telling me that he "needs to regain his strength before teaching me something new". I waited about 2 weeks in game time and another 4 days of normal in game time gameplay, he still says the same. Once again I dont know what the quest line is expecting of me. And once again its annoying as hell. When I realized that the mod somewhere along the new spell messed up my characters eyes, I got fed up and deinstalled this time wasting mod. My eyes are normal again after deinstalling. Also, to be fair I have to mention that somewhere between the "lets fuck so you get a new spell" he mention something about "sex magic" it wasnt more than a simple sentence, but from that I would interpret, that he is actually teaching sex magic (which apperantly is a sub school of Illusion to the modder ?!). If that is right it might be actually logical that you need to be an accomplished mage before learning that new kind of magic. Than again: this is referenced nowhere in this "storyline" (if you can call it that) and solely in my imagination.
Discord12 Posted December 13, 2013 Posted December 13, 2013 FAZIT of this Mod: Which is only MY opinion of it! The modder wasted his time progging it, and our time testing it. If you are looking for a good immersive story .................. NOT HERE. interestingly crafted sex scences.....NOT HERE. Just fast sex w/o anything around ...NOT HERE. This mod is really good for nothing, and I didnt even mention the countles ugly clipping issues with angrimms body, that his head and body doesnt match, or the completely loveless and empty modded basement that acts as a research center for angrimm. Also: I will no longer follow this mod, seems pointless to me. If someone feels compelled to write me a hate or even a thanks PM for this "review", I'll gladly read it.
stobor Posted December 13, 2013 Author Posted December 13, 2013 @Discord12: Wow. Epic whine. I'll try to ignore the tone, and put some of it to constructive use. A couple of items right off the top: 1. The interpretation of "early game" is subjective, and you're the only one who's made that complaint. So I'll mostly ignore that. But for the record, I've done the Dibella side quest at level 6-7 (on Master difficulty), so I don't think it is unreasonable to include it. 2. As I've stated multiple times, the optional quests are optional. You seem to think that they are required, and that their level means I'm lying to you. The main thread can be played entirely at level 1, if one wished (though that would be silly). So you hate it. I get that. Have fun playing with whatever it is you do like.
CGi Posted December 13, 2013 Posted December 13, 2013 i started the mod at level one (just felt the urge to test and play it ^^) and simply due to the way this mods works (casting spells, doing side quests [started getting the sybill at level one and was level 3 at it's end, while rushing it]), i was level 13 when i reached the stage, where Angrim refused to teach me anything new ... for a rather long time. Doing Sams quest too, i would have been at a higher level ofc, but i just ignored it, as the author clearly stated that it's optional. So imo this mod a really good (never forget that a modder creates a mod that suits his taste in first place, spending his/hers time to make it plublic and fix bugs for people with different mod combinations) and especially due to the added NPC comments this mod is even rather immersive. So overall, this mod a a really good one imo, despite the long wait times and the few repetetive tasks (but that's just my taste which doesn't count here). Good work stobor. Please keep it up and don't let people drag you down.
Guest Xluxlu Posted December 13, 2013 Posted December 13, 2013 I play this mod a lot of time whit a new character, i can do all the main quest and the final whitout problem, i enjoyed this mod, the character is level 1 and we are in another world and time, the magic exist, vampires exists etc etc and exists perverse people.... Is a fantasy world, so pelease, this mod is made for have fun, if you play this mod whitout cheats, the final stage of this quest is veeeeeeeeery long and take several time. If you like fast histories is your problem, but i love this mod and works fine for me, so, if you don't like this mod, you have a lot of mods in this page or you can do your own mod. Sorry my bad english
