About the gag discussion (I still have this strange feeling that this is the wrong place to post it..)

 

I just have the most obvious lore friend idea ever:

 

People unwilling to help you out with the gag after you complete the quest "The Way of the Voice", commenting on how they feel safer with you gagged, maybe even more harsh after you complete "Dragonslayer".

 

Clarifying; when i say "help you out" i dont mean remove the gag, I mean "good interactions" like give you food, unplug panel gag and such.

 

Sorry if i am a little annoying suggesting a lot of ideias, i dont want to sound demanding, just thank you for hear us.

Where else would it be better posted? :P. Integration handles all in-game behavior. Everything except for how the devices actually look on your person is handled by this mod.

 

Keep the ideas coming, I don't mind at all. I appreciate the ideas that are posted, and always read them.

Like one of the farmers at Pelagia Farm or something. They don't sell so you can't open it that way. And lots of merchants only allow you to sell them certain things so the devices never come into play. Like I can only sell FOOD to one of the merchants in the square at Whiterun.

Reverse pickpocket it on to them, or use Veladarius's "Devious Interactions" to equip it on them via dialogue.

I'm probably missing something obvious, but where do I craft keys? The MCM settings have an option for key crafting difficulty and the materials imply that it's done at the skyforge, but I haven't been able to find it.

There is a book that can be found in the mage college at winterhold that will teach you how to craft keys. Be careful, if the librarian catches you you will have to finish a quest for him.

I'm not sure what you mean by resetting an animation: Did a particular animation somehow become stuck?

the animation where the character is fumbling with her breast/pussy, which is triggered by high level of vibration when hardcore mode is enabled.

 

sometimes the animation duration last more than one minute and doesnt seems to want to stop (I waited 2 or 3 times more than 10min, just to be sure, since then I just reload a previous game when it last more than 1min).

 

also sometimes the animation is triggered too often, like:

1) animation triggered, 2) I move a few meters in-game, and bam, 3) animation triggered again.

this sequence can repeat itself several time, almost breaking any gameplay.

Of course this happen mostly during battle phase, when casting lots of spell.

As a result, I often get killed because the enemies can attack me immediately when the animation stop, while I must activate the ready/battle state.

 

And thats when the animation has not been triggered *before* the ready/battle state has been deactivated, because I often see my character fumbling itself while still having weapon in hand.

As result, when the fumbling animation end, my character is in a messed state, where I cant use my hands, I have to unselect one of the hand's weapon and reselect it so I can use my hands again.

 

At the moment, when I know im going to have a heavy fight, I usually deactivate the hardcore mode and change most of the setting to low % so the effects of the device are bearable and dont kill the gameplay during the fight

Your Papyrus must be running very slowly: Those animations last 5 "ticks" of the Vibration Effect. On my system, that's about 5.25 seconds (7 at the most, if I'm in very heavy combat, with over 200 mods (Including Frostfall, and other script-heavy mods)). The VibrateEffect function is rather heavy (In need of refactoring), though 5 ticks taking more than 10 minutes...

 

I haven't seen the "Weapon failed to unequip" issue since 2.6.2ish. What version are you running? Post a copy of your Papyrus.0.log, in which the animation lasts over a minute.

10min in not just papyrus being slow, the problem is elsewhere

anyway, im not asking for a debug of these issues, as im still running 2.6.2 (Im waiting for the new version of Captured Dream shop before upgrading to 2.7.*, which should happen, I hope, soon :) )

hence, my question if there was some way to reset the animation using a console command.

if not, then I will just wait till I upgrade (and hopping I dont have this problem)

Probably, yeah. Hence asking for the log :P. Remember, you can't upgrade the same savegame from 2.6.2, to 2.6.6+ (Requires a new game).

 

No, there's no way to "reset" that animation. Post a log if the issue persists in 2.7+

(2.6.2 is my Asset, I got confused when looking earlier, Integration is 2.6.6, at least I should be ok on that side)

Hi!

Unusual question probably, but how do I do a proper uninstall (I use NMM)? The reason is this, I had to uninstall Devices a couple of days back, since I was getting CTDs after a few minutes of gametime. Turns out, it was due to another mode. So I reinstalled Devices. I have two different Characters. My second Character works just fine, the mod works great (exept a few occasions where the characters would slip out of bondage and go into their usual idle anims or, more often cover themselves up due to the "Aroused Animations" Mod). With my primary character though, I get the following message about 5 seconds after loading the game:

 

"A fatal error has occurred with your installation of Devious Devices. Incomplete uninstall attempt perhaps? Aborting upgrade chain."

 

And that message pops up every 5 seconds. Funny thing is, I haven't used any devious devices with this character (yet ;-) ). Any idea, where the trouble may lie?

Concerning flaky NPC plug actions:

I have Paradise Valley bath house. On 2 of the followers, after equipping them with vaginal and anal soul gem plugs and a chastity belt, the Devious Flood, Sustained spell worked right away. The other 2, it wouldn't work. I went off and messed around in the bathouse and the girls got into and out of the pool. The pools in the bath house have an auto-strip thing going on. For the 2 that were NOT working, once they stripped for the pool and redressed afterwards, the spell worked on them. I thought, "Great.... something is going to randomly reset every time they use the pool.", but no... using the pool once did SOMETHING that made the spell work and it continues to work from that point on. 

 

As a further experiment, I belted one of the bath house residents with soul gem plugs. Immediately after equipping them, the flood spell did not work on her. But once she used the pool, it works.

 

QUESTION:

I installed the Captured Dreams shop and saw Soul Gem Plug (SET). I can not CRAFT a plug set. I can only craft individual plugs. Can you tell me the significance of the set? And how it is different?

The set thingy is legacy stuffs. It was left in the esm for backwards compatibility purposes (cuz removing assets from plugins can lead to errors or even ctds when users update) but i don't think they're supposed to be used anymore and modders are encouraged to switch to using the separate versions instead.

OK, well then that might explain why I had an issue after purchasing the set and giving it to a follower. Once I removed it from her, I could no longer trade with her. THe container window would open but the items were grayed out and I could not select them for trade. Zoning didn't fix it. Had to load a previous save.

mmm, you have that few mod that boss put it at the bottom of the list? (ie. Asset is before last in the list?)

it should just be after Asset, that should be enough

 

if you still have problem, I suggest trying to enable papyrus log and see whats going on

 

edit:

HA, I just had a look at my load order and BOSS had put Integration before Asset too, I wonder why it does that.

mmm, that order hasnt caused me any problems though, so it shouldnt be the cause of the problems you have

 

 

i try to rearrange the load order to match what TES5edit tells me to do, and I have to then uninstall all of the DD mods that i like or the game won't even load beyond the Bethesda logo.

My eyes are bad and I can't see well enough to figure what has gone wrong.  The only new mods added are storageutiv 13, zynanimation and xazprision overhaul_v027.  Starting a new game CTDs unless I first load a previous save.  Devices (plug vibrations) freezes my PC when she gathers wood via frostfall, can not longer use a tanning rack nor mine ore.  The rack and ore scenes start then quit before anything is done.  I don't believe it's this mod but something has caused it to quit working like it should.

If you would muddle through the log and see what the problem is, I would appreciate it. 

I'm using "alternate start live a deviant life".

You have a lot of errors from ZZEstrusUtil on there.

The rack and ore mining bug seems to be an issue with prison overhaul v27. Try v26, that works for me. So that is one of your bugs that can be solved. :)

Yes, I saw that.  Always been there, but I just un-installed it just in case.  And it's also the reason I have so much trouble trying to read the log...to much for my poor eyes to take in.
