Might I make a suggestion? If you (or someone else) would like to make some easy Beast Race integration, the Log Bit Gag from ZAZ already has an icon/in-game image for being worn by Khajiits, and with only slight adjustment I'm sure it would work on argonians too. It would please more people, I'm sure, to have no race left out like that. Yes I know Khajiits and Argonians are not the most attractive the way Skyrim renders them, but there's numerous beauty mods that fix that.

All you'd have to do to make the log bit gag work is add some scripts for the Khajiits. I could easily imagine it being pulled off or the bit removed for oral sex, as easily as a plug, hmm? Collars might need some shifting back I suppose, but the collar doesn't add any special functionality anyways. At least they're not digit grade like they were in Morrowind, eh?

I found it there is an "electrostim plugs" effect in it,is it cut off because health damage is the same as health drain? If it is, what about use the effect archetype "stagger" instead of electrostim damage.I think electrostim plugs is a intersting idea.

I already asked for some Electrostim/-shock modifications for new items (collar/plugs) and vibration like effects but sadly it's not on Min's to-do list atm.

At the moment the stim function gives a very brief shock display and message when you 'on edge' from wearing a plug with the electrostim enchantment.

The existing electric effect was custom-created for Veladarius's "Captured Dreams" shop. I might add a more indepth electro-stim effect in the future. It's not on my list at the moment though, no. If I were going to create a new effect like that, I would want to create a new in-game experience for it, rather than just clone/tweak the vibrate effect. This would require new sounds, new effects, etc, etc. Have other things on the list for the time being.

The issue with this, is that I don't, and never have played beast-races: It simply doesn't interest me. The change you're suggesting would require that a system (That I've been putting off for a while) for multiple meshes per item being implemented. If I ever get around to implementing said system, the likeliness of this being included increases dramatically. For the time being, beast-race support is unlikely to be added, as I'm not willing to spend much time developing a feature that I'll never use.

Wow.... been reading this for a long time. And tried this morning (for several hours) to get the soul gem plugs to vibrate all the way to climax and...... no joy.

I have crafted the padded chastity belt and soulgem plugs (both vag and anal)

I have learned the spells for trickle, surge, flood, etc. All the way to master level.

The plugs still only "vibrate softly" and even after casting the highest spell, they stop in a couple seconds and my girl never goes over the edge.

I went to the enchanting table to see if I was supposed to do something there and they don't show up as enchantable (they don't show in any list at al at enchanting table) so... I'm kinda lost. At the forge I looked to see if I could make them with a better soul gem as if that might make a difference..... nope.

What am I missing?

Also, FYI, for unknown reasons, at the end of the quest I was talking to Ulgrag and in his dialogue it stopped and showed only "..." as the response it was waiting for from me. I discovered I had to click on Ulgrag to continue to the next phase of the dialogue and was able to finish the request normally.

The CURSED plugs vibrated STRONGLY. I can't get anything to vibrate strongly nor can I get them to vibrate long enough.

Assistance appreciated. :)

That's odd: There are no device events what-so-ever in the log. Can you start a new game, manipulate the harness, and send me a log of you doing so? Wondering where your issue could be.

I'll be happy to but it'll have to wait for tonight when I'm back home.

A quick question though: could it be related to the "start a deviant life" mod ? Someone posted a similar issue in that mod's thread as well (I replied to it)

Of course when I try it with a fresh new game, I can't reproduce it any more. I suspect the problem happen after some time: in all my previous try, my toon had been wearing one or the other device for a moment (it takes a while to unlock them all when the "destroy key" option is set). This isn't the case with a new game when i just spawn the keys at the console.

Sorry :( I'll try to narrow it down somehow. Meanwhile, is there a way to "reset" the status of the devices from the console ? So I could at least fix my old savegames ?

Thanks

Edit: In case that gives you an idea, I just tried it again with a "bugged" save and the behavior of the harness is different when I put it on: the first time, it doesn't ask me at all what I want to do with it: I immediately have the "You step into the harness,..." dialog and the dialog is displayed twice. After that, when I try to remove it, I have the choice dialog where I can chose to put it on or carry on (of course, i can't put it on again).

I have an issue with the Forbidden Tome quest where I have both a Chastity Belt (Padded) and the Padded Chastity Belt from the quest equipped.

Don't know how I managed this, just realized it while rummaging through my inventory.

I'm midway through the quest, have obtained the Odd Dynamo Core but not the 'Other Items'.

If I unlock the Chastity Belt (Padded) with a Chastity Key, it breaks the quest (quest switches to completed and says 'you managed to escape the belt')

The quest Padded Chastity Belt stays equipped, but I can unequip it without the script popup.

Then, if I reequip the Padded Chastity Belt, the script for it works again, and I can't unlock it due to improper key..

Luckily this was only testing haha.

All DD mods are at latest (2.71a Integration, 2.7 Assets), game is a continuation from 2.62 Assets and 2.66 Integration, LADL 1.5.

I suppose I could just continue the quest, no biggie, just worried if anything else will break.

Any ideas? Thanks..

Plug vibration strength is based on mana cost. The more costly the spell you're casting (The more mana that's flowing through you), the stronger the plugs react.

DD doesn't persistently store device state for most devices (The armbinder being the only exception), so there's nothing like that to reset (or that could be causing your problem). You may have orphaned (unequipped) rendered devices (What you see equipped on your character) in your inventory, which could be causing the problem. I suggest storing all items in a chest, and running "player.removeallitems". Should fix the issue, if that is the cause. I know that I (Along with other members of the beta-group) have run DD in their saves, and had devices equipped for many, many game-hours without your reported issue occurring.

That issue is already fixed in the current beta for 2.7.2. The issue was, that the quest belt shared the same renderedInstance as the standard padded belt. Thus, bypassing the typical device-duplication checks. Solution: Don't equip the padded belt while wearing the quest belt. Should be safe to ignore for the duration of the quest. Issue will not recur come 2.7.2. Thanks for the report regardless, though.

Thanks for the quick reply, and for the indication that completing the quest should be safe.

No worries about the report too =)

Just out of curiosity though, I have a slightly earlier save (just got out of the ruin, hadn't sold all the loot) where everything looks good; i.e. only the quest belt is equipped, and a regular padded belt is in my inventory.

I attempted to equip this regular belt, but got the 'it is impossible to wear multiple belts' popup.

Um. How did I manage to equip the belt then? Haha.

ok so I'm admittedly a n00b at this and ....

If the plug vibration strength is tied to manacost of a spell, why would a Master level alteration spell that is being cast with both hands, not be enough to trigger the full show?

And the spells that APPEAR to be intended to make the plugs vibrate more intensely, don't do it. You know the ones with "drip", "trickle", "flood", etc and also have as their final word of description.. "Sustain". It doesn't matter which of those spells I cast, I still only get the "vibrating softly" and no "Sustain".

My character is level 27, but if I have to wait until near the end game for this to work, then I may just hang up the belt and plugs and have her whore herself out in town. :)

I will say that with probabilities turned up, it's entertaining.... comical.... to watch her try to get through a dungeon while stopping to fondle herself and slipping in her own "lubrication". :)

The formula for spell-cast vibrations is such:
duration = (ManaCost * 0.1)
vibStrength = (ManaCost / 50)
where vibStrength varies from 1-5, 1 being agonizingly softly, 5 being extremely powerfully. You certainly don't need to wait for end-game to reach upper-strength vibrations. :P

The spells you've described are intended to be used on NPC's wearing plugs (Though, NPC effects are flaky at the moment).

Does it always run off the base cost or will enchanted items/perks that reduce cost (like the destruction one that reduces the mana cost by % amount) affect the calculation?

Effective Mana Cost, not base. Items / perks that reduce the cost serve as a defense against the plug's effects.

AH! So if I'm specialized in Alteration, and have the perks to minimize mana cost, then I should work on restoration or destruction of something and try as hard as possible NOT to minimize mana cost. :)

Can't we just have a spell called "Blow My Mind"?

hehehehe

Testing the spells intended to be used on NPCs. I have several followers. 2 from Lunari Warriors, Cerwiden, and Eryniel Elf.

I gave them the Cursed Plugs and the NPC spell worked, but never took them over the edge (as expected). Any other plug set appears unaffected by the spells. I can hear the Cursed Plugs vibrating on my follower. And with those equipped, I see and hear periodic events. I don't hear anything from any other set of plugs. I see them fiddling with themselves from time to time, but no periodic vibration. That's with the Base chance at 100 and Vibration chance at 100. There are lots of combinations. I'll keep trying things.

Oh! And after removing the cursed plugs, The magic effect appears to remain until we zone.

On another note, related to posts above, I found a restoration spell that uses a lot of mana and that kicks off the full "thunderous climax". I DO get the periodic vibration events on PC.

I have a problem with this mod placing itself above DD- Assets in my load order. I can't put it at the bottom of the load order like boss recommends. This problem has happened with each version I've tried, and causes CTD after I play for a time. I can recover my save by uninstalling DD- Integration, but I can't play any of the DD mods with out it.

mmm, you have that few mod that boss put it at the bottom of the list? (ie. Asset is before last in the list?)

it should just be after Asset, that should be enough

if you still have problem, I suggest trying to enable papyrus log and see whats going on

edit:

HA, I just had a look at my load order and BOSS had put Integration before Asset too, I wonder why it does that.

mmm, that order hasnt caused me any problems though, so it shouldnt be the cause of the problems you have

This is really strange, and I'm not tech savvy enough to know what to do.  I also have an intense migraine, which is knocking 40 or 50 points off of my I.Q., atm.

Since adding this mod, when my 'toon goes on the "Home Delivery" quest from the "Radiant Prostitution, Tweaked" mod, the game freezes during the "undressing" animation.  I tried doing the quest twice, in case there was a problem with a specific cell or NPC or something, but the same thing happened.

It's odd, because nothing from this mod was being was even being worn, and this is the only time I've ever had the game freeze up like this.

Device effects (Armbinder, Gag, Periodic vibrations) are flakey on NPC's. Known issue.

is there some console command I can use to stop/reset the animations where the character is touching itself ?

I'm not sure what you mean by resetting an animation: Did a particular animation somehow become stuck?

I don't understand your problem: This mod does not re-sort your load order. Create a custom user-rule in BOSS (Or manually move it yourself) if it's not being sorted properly.

I appear to have a vaginal plug "stuck" (pun intended) in my female PC. Nothing shows as equipped, and showinventory does not show it as worn, but I can see it sticking out of her and when I try to put a different device in that hole I get the "impossible to wear multiple plugs" message.

How do I troubleshoot this to get rid of that plug?

You probably managed to unequip the item without generating the appropriate papyrus events: The most common cause of which being, that you had multiple instances of the plug in question in your inventory when you interacted with it. Remove all but one, then re-equip that one via console. Remove it as per normal, and the problem should be resolved.

Posted

tough to tell which one it is. I was trying several :) (not all at once)

If I can't figure it out, I'll go back to a save before I started messing with everything. :)

Posted

I went back to the save right after I completed the forbidden tome quest. No issue with that save.

So if I have several followers, and I want to plug and belt them, should I use the console to equip them to the followers, or should I be able to craft like 4 chastity belts, 4 plugs of each type, and then go hand them out?

Do I only have to be cautious about having any interaction (removal or replacement) with my OWN devices to be sure I only have my own in inventory and no duplicates?

I'm trying to get this to work with my followers and not get me screwed up in the process (again)

AFT's gear management appears to unequip the devices when you have City Outfit, Home Outfit, Standard Outfit enabled. I haven't found a way to tell it NOT to unequip those slots.

Also the Paradise Valley and Bath House player home has an auto-strip when npcs go into the pool or hot tub and that seems to strip the devices as well.

While I'm trying to find out how to prevent that stripping of devices, it means I will sometimes have to remove the devices from the follower and then give it to them again. The devices show in AFT's gear management, but when they are added back to an "outfit" they don't appear to be equipped properly. (No arrow at the left indicating they are actually equipped)

And so far, the spells to make the plugs vibrate on NPCs worked on ONE of my followers, but not the others and didn't work on ANY NPC that I had equipped with the same devices. For the NPCs I used the console to openactorcontainer to do the "trade". That appeared to get them to equip the devices reliably. But no vibrate on NPCs unless I get ticked off and give them the cursed plugs *evil grin*. And if they have the CURSED plugs, then the spells to make them vibrate work.

So for your OWN information when looking at why NPC events are flaky, ... is there something the Cursed Plugs have that the crafted ones don't? Because the cursed ones on an NPC are activated by the spells very reliably.

Question about inflatable plugs:

I was reading that they could be squeezed manually. I can't figure out how. I know if *I* am wearing them and sit down I get a reaction. But if I have a follower or NPC equipped with them, is there a way for my to give them a pump?

No aspect of this mod's normal function requires the use of the console. Trading the devices to NPC's is the intended way of equipping it on them.

You only need be cautious about interacting with multiple devices when you're activating your own (Be that equipping, or unequipping). Papyrus does not reliably send the OnEquipped / OnUnequipped events that this mod requires to function when multiple devices are in your inventory.

It doesn't matter if the inventory device shows as equipped in an NPC's inventory. Only that they have it (And it is visibly rendered on them).

I know the source of the NPC events problem. It's not going to be fixed any time soon though, as I'm not sure -why- it's occurring.

You can manually squeeze your own plugs via the standard device interaction menu, not an NPC's though.
