I've actually never heard of this, my mod usage narrowed significantly when I swapped from LE to SE back in 2018.

I'm doing Liv's dirty work quest right now and she just completed the cure. So far I've seen a few white thoughts about looking pretty and nothing more. No special dialogues with NPCs or any sex. Will it all come later?

Edit: Completed the quest: Nothing except a few white thoughts happened. Should it be this boring?

Hm, no, it shouldn't. Over the course of the quest, your player should get a blonde hair "wig", a lewdmark slavetat and increasingly large debuff to magic, and then be forced into saying slutty things to NPCs you talk to and possibly having sex with them. I'll take a look, see if something is preventing any of that from triggering.

I've never seen that occur during the quest. Was I supposed to? (With the obvious exception of Da Real Whoreson (yes, I've read David Gemmel's books (where his characters say whoreson instead of bastard) and wondered if it was an intentional pun but it probably was pretty blatant all along :p)).

Huh. There was a mis-set condition blocking that dialogue from ever playing. I wonder how long that's been broken for? I'm sure it used to work. I'll fix it in the next version.

 

Oh yeah, it's a real clever pun with Dareel Horsen's name. Makes me wish I'd done it on purpose, rather than just going to the UESP wiki's "Lore: Nord Names" page and randomly switching some letters around...

I initially just sort of reflexively agreed with this, but then I realized there's a opening here...

 

What if you talk to Holdan after you've triggered the curse but before it fully manifests? He probably knows it's unstoppable, so the two of you have a pretty strong incentive to try delaying it at the very least. If you think of it like a cancer treatment (dark, I know), the reward might be getting to delay it for a time, or even (seemingly) forever. You could always make it re-manifest with a vengeance, but there's a lot of room for a quest if you want one there.

The wig and slut mark showed up. I didn't check for debuffs. Dialogue or sex never happened.

Well I did wonder if you'd kept it simpler and wanted to imply that he was hung like a horse.

Minor thing, but if you're supporting people making custom voice packs for this mod; I'd make sure all the NPCs have set voice types so they don't break and have to be manually reassigned every time. The only NPC in this mod that I'm pretty sure doesn't have one is the Courier from Lyvelia's quest, though.

Whorecrux uses Toys instead of Sexlab (or it uses Toys as well as Sexlab). Overall the crux stuff can all be done with sexlab. Toys only comes into play with a "merchant" who makes you wear toys devices to try to curb your rising passion (essentially separate from what the core mod used to do as a side system but one that is now required). This isn't a problem as such but it does add a fair bit  to the load order.

When the player becomes Bimbo and makeup becomes permanent, it seems that pubic and armpit hair also becomes permanently shaved. Please consider an MCM option in the future to allow for pubic and armpit hair growth to continue or not.

 

In the meantime, please point me in the right direction on how to make a code change so I can attempt to patch.

I think that is cause being shaved matches the bimbo look...

Sorry, if my problem is already mentioned. I didnt find it in this thread:

 

As far as I understand it, the corruption should progress every 24h ingame (ig). And when I wait/fast travel it should go 1-ig-h down. Is this correct?

 

In my case it seems that the time is in real time (rt) hours. For example: when I read the "good girl rules", I get a 6rt-h buff. Waiting 1-ig-h reduces that by 3-rt-min. (Funny sidenote: if I wait multiple ig hours, it will go down x*3min) So I want to force the buff I have to wait 120 ingame hours (or 5 ig-days) to reduce the buff to 0 and read the note again. Or 480 ingame hours to progress "a day". So exactly a real life day.

Is it intended to be so slow (and I am to impatient) or do I have a "unwanted surprise feature" here?

 

Used Version: Skyrim AE 1.6.640.0.8 (SKSE64 2.2.3 rel 6)

The timers for magic effects are real-time. That is, afaik, impossible to circumvent. The timer for curse stages is in-game time, based on whatever you set it to in the MCM. If you set it to 1hr, it'll complete inside one in-game day. Fast-travel and waiting do indeed only increment the curse timer by an hour, so a setting of 24h for the curse timer will take weeks of in-game play to fully progress the curse if you fast-travel a lot.

 

Just now you've got the "good girl" buff timer and the curse progression timer confused. The "good girl" buff is a magic effect, and the curse only begins to progress once your corruption reaches 100%.

Weirdly enough, that's actually really specific to western concepts of 'Bimbo'.  I know in Japan the general concept of 'bimbo' has been adopted but because they have a specific 'thing' there where pubic/armhair hair shaving is considered a mark of professional sex workers bimbos are usually not shaven ('cuz they're super easy, not prostitutes.)  So yeah, maybe an MCM for that as an option.

 

(Also, I may be mangling the specific cultural reasoning.)

It's an interesting idea. I might have a look into it at some point, but I think it might be more effort than it's worth to get it to a level I'd be happy with. I'm not sure if I'm keen to be investing time in something so missable in a playthrough (you get 16 days to go see him, and if you don't, you can't). I'll probably give him some special dialogue at least, though.

Oh, ugh. Toys turned me off as soon as they added their "Love" system that was meant to be a replacement for SL Arousal. Sure, it's better, but what's the point in "better" if you lose compatibility with everything that already exists? I'll have a quick poke around in Whorecrux and see if there's any easy modEvents or StorageUtil vars I can hook into, but if there isn't I'm not too bothered then.

Oh yeah, someone else was asking about it before, I've already added a toggle for it in the next version. If you wanted to remove it yourself now, the code is in the quest script for CC_BimbofyPlayer (qf__08303fae). In the stage 160 fragment, there's some YPS stuff that shaves the player and then disables hair growth. You can just comment out or remove those lines.

So yeah, like SkyAddiction said, the Good Girl! effect isn't directly related to the curse- it just secretly makes you gain corruption more quickly, hidden behind the HP regen buff it also gives. And since it's an Spell Effect it counts in real time.

 

Once your character actually falls under the curse (you'll know when it happens) it should progress correctly at 24 in-game hours/stage (or whatever you set it to in the MCM).

I don't know if someone said this before, but the bimbo navel piercing uses the same slot as the YPS stockings. Which means you cannot have both the navel piercing and stocking at the same time :(

Just want to know if anyone else is having a issue with the dialogue options.

Alot of the NPCs dialogue just doesnt do anything and if im in the middle of a quest I have to use setstage to move forward.

 

I am on AE so not sure if that is the issue here but just want to know if anyone has a fix for it.

No other mod is having the same issue.

How exactly does the hardcore mode work? I have it enabled and I've become a bimbo, but I'm not seeing any special debuffs/effects other than the hourly forced dialogue, does it take a while for them to appear?

It's supposed to make the debuff effects even greater, to the point where stuff like Restoration is almost non-existent. Make sure the option for the debuff effects and buffs is on, otherwise hardcore won't do anything.

Oh. Annoying. In my defense, when I picked that slot, YPS wasn't using it yet!

Unfortunately, there's not much I can do- there's only so many slots, and trying to fit things in, between Vanilla slots, dodging used Devious Devices slots but aligning with used ones, and being caught by YPS's piercing slot detections, for each kind of piercing, was like doing a Sudoku. You might just be stuck using either Slavetat stockings or Slavetat navel piercings instead of item ones unfortunately.

That's a tough one. It has to be some kind of install issue, because that behavior sounds like random scripts not running (and they do run for everyone else, including on AE). It's not something I can fix or really help with unfortunately, since the problem is probably on your end.

To add on to what Greatperson11 said, the Hardcore mode doesn't add any new behaviors, it just massively reduces a lot of your stats and ability scores. It goes beyond just giving you debuffs, and instead directly edits your character's Actor Values. You don't see any active effect in your menu, but the game will calculate much lower results for most things you do. It's a crude, inadvisable thing to do from a scripting perspective, but that's part of why I don't advise using it unless you're really keen.

 

(edit: mind you, this is all assuming that it's not totally broken in the current version- it happens. It's definitely the feature I give the least of a shit about, so I tend to not notice it myself when it's busted. I mean, I care about it juuust enough to fix it if it is broken though, so let me know.)

Actually it's more to do with when someone (not Emily) turned the nylons slavetats into physical objects and used the same slot that YPS has been using for the navel piercing. It's been a known conflict for a long time but will hopefully be resolved eventually.

Gotcha, so the stat changes wont be visible, but they're happening in the background? And in the description it mentions that your follower will take advantage of your weakness, is that flavor text or are there actual follower events that only happen with hardcore mode enabled? Because I don't think I've encountered any

I also play on AE. I don't see this issue myself, but I do sometimes rarely have problems with dialogue just not progressing and having to back out and restart the dialogue. I don't think it's an issue with this mod, it's likely either the engine or just a mod we both use. Probably a patch one.

Oh they'll be visible. All skills capped at 5 and visible on the skills menu. You can still gain skill xp and levels and perks but the skills will always be 5.
