What kind of quest does one envision with that art concept? One where the raiders send Nora to some place full of enemies (Minutemen?), arm her with melee weapons, and drug her so she goes berserk and kills everything in her path?

I kinda did that roleplay before (if she's a good fighter performed well in the pit and fight) so she gets ordered to clean up ghouls, super mutants, or rival raiders gangs and such. 

I got smoked at the Super Duper Mart tho cuz of all the negative debuffs. I kinda suggested the idea of like a female slave squad. 

 

I don't mind manually taking the player out of the raider factions to fight raiders or not doing the Green Market to fight Super Mutants from time to time tho

 

I suppose an FCOM patch would work

I'm still on AAF 1.5.5 (and OG) and I get those AAF-related black screens sometimes, with a loading animation in the corner, but the action seemingly happening anyway.

One way I found to fix some of these black screens from AAF (or from mods that call for them) is to use console and teleport myself. I then open AAF menu and end the scene if it still active. It sometimes gets hanged in the "finishing" part, but it doesn't seem to create any issues.

 

Doesn't the newest AAF version have an equipment issue? I'm delaying the update because I don't know how that bug will interact with locked restraints from kziitd or DD.

i tried to coc with the black screen and the vault tec loading icon down the bottom right but no luck, its not like the games paused or anything either you can hear npcs walking around and talking in the background so i never left the room.

Since I can actually click on things while console is active, I usually click something, PRID, and teleport there, ending up very close to where I was. I haven't tried it yet, but you can also try player.moveto player. It will likely put you exactly where you where.

In my case, most of the black screens happen either with Hardship (it's simply an image space that you can dismiss), or Latex Dreams, when it summons some creatures for a sex scene, so another solution might be to find a specific mod that creates the black screens and disabling it.
