Goubo Posted August 16, 2013 Author Posted August 16, 2013 @Goubo: Defeat.jpgIn the Companion Action Key description, the 5th word "tagetting" should be "targeting", which was most likely my fault. Sorry. I had no clue I was even in the credits, so I felt it my responsibility to tell you about this. Of course let me know about all the spell mistakes. I thought I did take care of this mistake though, I was wrong it seems. Well I just tested 3.2 and it seems to have an incompatibility with Radiant Prostitution. When I uninstalled Defeat 3.1, Radiant Prostitution's wenches started having sex for the first time ever, instead of just standing there staring at their clients forever. When I installed 3.2, Radiant Prostitution's wenches stopped having sex and just stared at their clients again. I've tried loading Defeat before and after Radiant Prostitution and it doesn't matter. For whatever reason, Defeat is breaking the sex scenes for wenches. I have not yet installed 3.2, but I do have 3.1 running along with Radiant Prostitution, and it works well for me. I noticed yesterday, a wench was wearing a strapon and doing a carry front maneuver with that Orc loan shark on Sohlsteim. I was also able to a Home Delivery quest there as well. I plan on checking out 3.2 today, and if I can remember, I'll update this. I know 3.1 was working though. I really don't see why it would be incompatible, I did not change a lot about sex scenes... need more details on this one. SmokeMage -> The wounded debuff stays or it's not here and your stats do not return to the normal? I'll add something to the clean up function to restore stats if they are damaged. For those who have problems to trigger the OnHit event, take a look at your papyrus log to see if there is any oddities about Defeat.
julzor Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 I haven't had any luck triggering the PC rape either, I've spent the last 2-3 hours checking if everything is in the proper place. The mod is listed in the MCM, and it lets me alter the options, but still no luck (i have already checked the FAQ aswell ) SKSE is upto date, same with SkyUI and FNIS any suggestions? I think it is an incompatiblity with schlongs of skyrim. Defeat works for me after installing this patch: http://skyrim.nexusmods.com/mods/36923/?
Guest Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 That seems odd. Doesn't that just change the skeleton? And which one of those did you use? I'll play around with my mods later today to try and isolate conflicts... Though I'll start with SOS then, I guess.
julzor Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 I used the first file ... Defeat stopped working for me after installing SOS, but i never had other issues with defeat before that, like the MCM Bug other people experienced ... so it is probably not a fix for everyone
ComradeChairmanKGB Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 How does this interact with sexlab submit ? is it wise to use both at once ?
Guest Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 Okay, apparently its something in my savegame. Funny enough, I didn't really do all that much compared to the last one - except making a clean save and some questing. No mod changes though. All other savegames I tried accepted the new defeat version without cleansaving without trouble. I'm confused. I did find something odd in my Papyrus log though: [08/16/2013 - 03:37:37PM] [DLC2RieklingRescuePlayerScript <alias Player on quest DLC2RieklingRescue (03038C07)>]ProcessingHit OnBeginState() Calling RollForRieklings() and RegisterForSingleUpdate() to reset OnHit Event Capture Im posting because of the on hit reference - and because it doesn't seem to be present in other saves.
Guest Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 Another oddity... So far, the companion list in 3.1 listed ALL of my theoretical followers. Everyone I ever had following me. Now it only shows Lydia. Between my last working save and the newest one I switched Mjoll out for Lydia, though I can't remember when exactly. I don't know the inner workings of Defeat, but it seems odd.
KKMod777 Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 I've done the 3.2 MCM translation for Chinese if you want. (would replace translation\sexlabdefeat_english.txt) Defeat v3.2 Traditional Chinese.7z Defeat v3.2 Simpified Chinese.7z
AwfulArchdemon Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 Of course let me know about all the spell mistakes. I thought I did take care of this mistake though, I was wrong it seems. Send me whatever. I'll check it.Won't make that mistake again.
Insolent Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 Nice update on the mod. I'd like to report a defect though. Whenever another mod registers a new MCM menu, Sexlab Defeats menu stops working. The submenus are all blank, as I and a few others have commented upon earlier. I just wanted to add what I believe is causing the problem. Cleaning the save and then reenabling the mod fixes the problem as MCM registeres the menu again, but it's not an ideal fix. =P
theskid Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 I still can't get defeat's MCM menu to work with 3.2, it does not matter if I am starting a brand new fresh game, or trying to add the mod to an ongoing save.

Erase skyrim and all your skyrim-related folders and start over from the beginning. Redownload all the mods you like and install them properly. This is what I do. Its a pain in the ass, but, I'm used to it now and it works every time. Fixes all my problems that I've created myself. But, I don't expect many people to do it this way.

I do that more often than you might think, I have yet to have a character past level 10, or get very far out of white run;) I have't been able to get defeat working since 2.0. I would prefer to use it to handle automatic combat rape as it covers companions as well, but the new versions just don't work proper for me. In my last rebuild, I simply left it out completely, and didn't bother with 3.1 as by the time I finished downloading the file posts were already up about how the mcm menu still didn't work. Thought I would give it another shot with 3.2 but no go so far, might try another rebuild but kinda meh on that at the moment.
jaam Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 That is an issue with translation/language. You are seeing the variable names not their content.
Guest Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 In a series of clean saves, disabling and re-enabling mods, changing load order and activating the SKSE CleanInvalidRegistrations, I got it to work with my newest save. Did all that stuff multiple times, no clue why it didn't work at first, but it does now. Without any complaint whatsoever.
ivan565 Posted August 16, 2013 Posted August 16, 2013 I was using the 2.0 version and it was working fine but when i upgrade the mod to the 3.1 and then the 3.2 versions i haven´t been able to rape anyone, like this mod but i think the 2.0 combat options was better and more functional without that grapple thing and i could rape my enemies all the time whereas with the newer versions can´t .
ttpt Posted August 17, 2013 Posted August 17, 2013 I'm actually having trouble with the hotkeys in that they won't stay registered between saves. ,Like the MCM menu says they're set to G and H but I have to actually set them again in the menu between reloading to get them to actually work. I recall submit having a similar issue with its hotkey not staying saved in the past, but that got resolved somehow. I suspect it's possible the resist hotkeys are also not staying saved, so that's a at least 6 hotkeys to reset between each reload. EDIT: Actually it seems the hotkey issue has been present since version 3.1. Since it still has to be reset between reloads. Maybe that's why people thought the mod was broken. Also it seems I can cheer but masturbation never triggers when targeting the victim actor and pressing the hotkey.
hornguy6 Posted August 17, 2013 Posted August 17, 2013 I suddenly have this bug that I can't access any of the settings in the MCM. Does anyone have a fix?

They are refreshed every time you load, I don' have problems with this, does anyone else have the same issue? As for the masturbation yeah I made a dumb mistake, fixed already, here a quick fix: Defeat-MasturbationFix.rar (Don't forget to delete it when the new version is out.)
AwfulArchdemon Posted August 17, 2013 Posted August 17, 2013 I suddenly have this bug that I can't access any of the settings in the MCM. Does anyone have a fix? You mean you have no options in MCM at all? When you go to MCM, what do you see, just a logo? If that's the case, I just got done resolving that issue myself. I uninstalled SkyUI, played/quit, uninstalled SKSE, played quit, reinstalled SKSE, p/q, reinstalled SkyUI, and everything worked, strangely enough. Reinstalling SKSE has now solved three different problems, so it's possible that simply reinstalling SKSE could fix it, but since SkyUI depends on SKSE, I un/reinstalled that as well, though I'm not certain it was necessary. Give it a shot. I wouldn't be surprised if it worked.

Your problem sounds rather like the one I had a few days ago, but I fixed it by uninstalling SexLab Defeat, clean saving, then reinstalling SexLab Defeat.
AwfulArchdemon Posted August 17, 2013 Posted August 17, 2013 Actually, the question could use some clarification. @hornguy6, do you not see options for Defeat, or are you seeing no options at all, for any mods in MCM? That was my problem. My SkyUI was giving 0 options in MCM, not even SkyUI options.

Your problem sounds rather like the one I had a few days ago, but I fixed it by uninstalling SexLab Defeat, clean saving, then reinstalling SexLab Defeat. Yeah, I eventually did that myself and it worked again. To clarify for everyone, (because it seems I was more unclear than I intended) if I clicked SexLab Defeat in MCM it would then open to show me the side bar with the general settings, player as victim, etc. but if I clicked on any of them nothing would appear on the main screen and I would be unable to open any of the other mods in the MCM (SexLab, SkyUI, Frostfall, any other MCM mod I had installed) until I exited the menu entirely. Essentially, I ended up doing what killer3000ad did which was to completely uninstall SexLab Defeat, continue my game, save, and reinstall it. Prior to that, I hadn't actually gotten any chance to be raped in Defeat, as I had just started a brand new game and previous to this, I haven't played Skryim for a few months. For those of you having compatability problems with other mods like Radient Prostitution, SOS (although tbh, SOS was breaking my game for some reason so I uninstalled that myself) it doesn't hurt to check your load order. Load order was a big deal when I was playing Fallout New Vegas Sexout.
dranzerstar Posted August 17, 2013 Posted August 17, 2013 Had the same problem of hornguy. I think its the mods problem and why are there "$" in front of the menu options?
