That is a weird, f'ed up update then. Because in the past, sexlab and defeat was never an issue together, for it recognized female aggressors to use cowgirl related animations and male aggressors to use male related animations; both classed as rape. Now I have this issue.

Honestly, I was seriously thinking this was a FNIS issue, due to xxl not recognizing tdf prost and pimp, but then again, that mod is outdated so long and there's hardly any prost/dance mods out there

Well back in the past it was much more simple, the whole selection part of animations is fairly new.

And Sexlab has also updated (can't see the selection process now), so can flip a coin where the issue is if there is one.

And it is kinda messed up, but then we're also using animations all over the place.  Like cowgirl can't just be F/M as ok makes sense as Fem aggressor, but as M aggressor (say F PC player) it just looks stupid.  But it's just an animation, so you've got this big selection process to pick it out for the right usage.  And all the stuff you have to do to avoid the F/F les animations as they look non aggressive and don't work for defeat (so have to use M/F and strapons...).

Anyway just recently back into Skyrim after being away, might fire up a male PC and see if I can get anything.

Wish the best of luck. I would be pulling hair, but I shave my head. Clearly, one of two things is going wrong:

A) This mod is broken

B) FNIS is the cause of it

If any case, however, sexlab framework could be involved too, who knows. But if it's because of FNIS, I'll surely give you all a heads up because it seems I'm not the only one having trouble here

If it's something animations wise, that shouldn't change the selection, it should just kill the animation.  As in anim tries to play, you get nothing, game continues.  Broken FNIS doesn't talk to sexlab or Defeat to get them to change.

Anyway, did a quick run (changed my PC to male, showracemenu) and got cowgirl to run first go lol.  That's on a surrender (not knockout, but shouldn't make a diff).

fyi my 'player as victim' animation setup.

Sex Assault - tag - aggressive

Sex Assault -  Suppress tag - cowgirl, necro, sleeping

Female/male - tag- COWGIRL

Suppress tag - blank

Tag required - ALL (on)

Fem First - ON

Not sure the breaking of sex assault and then the F/M part (which overrides which), but I'm guessing that's for issues how Cowgirl F/M.

I think back earlier with the more basic selection that might have been a problem, but just not for you in case you're wondering why the changes.  As a M PC, F/M cowgirl works.   As a F PC F/M doesn't (looks wrong).  So the extra choices gets it to work for more people, but it's harder to setup heh.

Anyway, hope this helps.

BTW, HOlding down the left shift when clicking the 'tag required - ALL' line will bring up a list of all animations that can be chosen with that selection.  So if you don't see any, something in your animation list is messed up. For me, brought up all the cowgirl animations.

Question is did the female switch and the male did the cowgirl animation or did it do what it suppose to do?

That's my issue is where I'm getting it. I get cowgirl, but it's actually my male character performing cowgirl, not the female aggressor. It's like recognizing the female as the VICTIM, and the male the AGGRESSOR.

Edit: See, this is what I have. It works, but the male performs the cowgirl and the female doesn't. This is where my frustration is coming in.

What about ENboost? Or any kind of heavy scripting? Could ANY errors be causing this or is it just this mod?

Alright so I have a quick question that I hope there's a quick fix to.

I'm having the issue with Defeat that whenever I use "K" to "Surrender" to any animal (even vanila with no changes or additions to vanila spawns), I keep getting the "cannot surrender to this character" error.

Then, when I stand there long enough for them (wolves for example) to knock me down, I enter the bleedout state and then they just walk away and I have to hit "A" and "D" the same way I would if my enemies were ignoring me.

Creatures are enabled in SexLab, I have Nude Creatures, Creature Framework, FNIS Creature Framework, etc... all the latest versions (re-downloaded today after a clean install to make sure nothing else was having an effect). And I've tried this both with More Nasty Critters 7.11 and 9.0, same issue.

Now, I CAN get them to rape my character using "Matchmaker" but not without.

And I wouldn't ask if I hadn't already tried to each the site for similar issues. A few people have posted similar problems but there's never been a clear solution as far as I have seen.
Can anyone shed some light on this for me? It worked perfectly well like 3 months ago (I recently went through and updated everything that's when this stopped working (and yes I've clean installed and mass deleted twice since then encase it was an error with my update process).

I'm encountering this issue even after creating a completely new character.

Any thoughts?

Much appreciated guys thanks.

Sorry it's "Cannot surrender to this enemy" not "character"

Although if I knock them down (the wolf) I do get the menu with the option to "rape" and the animations themselves work fine...

I just want to know how to get surrendering to work again, and how to get them to not ignore me after they knock me down.

So you mean (just to be sure), the guy is on top of the female who is on bottom.

Because yeah that's not what I got.  Got guy on bottom, female on top.  But that's a little clearer, I was thinking it was defaulting to a usual male dom animation (because male aggressor in cowgirl is kinda ambigious heh).

But anyway...

That is what the switch 'Female is first' should be fixing.

It's a F/M animation, Defeat puts victim in first which is what you're getting.

F/M,  Victim first and M becomes F.

But you got the switch on so F should be put there instead.

FYI my test chose the Arrok Cowgirl iirc, might want to exclude all but that, just in case you've some cowgirl variaent that's M/F and maybe the Female F is putting her into M.  Dunno at this point, looked at your log and it's putting the male voice on your char, and the fem on the bandits so no sex mixup there.

Just as it's easy to try.  Could you go into console, type showracemenu, and switch to male (or at least just confirm) or toggle back and forth and save it as male.   Just wondering as it's set to default (see prisoner as your name) and don't know how you started a new game... maybe something in the char setup.

Doing more than just that. My last test revolves around the binary, ENBoost. I ripped it out. Deleted EVERYTHING under Skyrim, then re installed it so it gives me a bare bone SKSE and game, back to vanilla graphics. I'll do the reg setup like before many months ago, and see if this error still occurs. If not, then it has to do with something about the binary I was previously using.

If not that, I'll try your setup.

Here are the logs. The only one that function right was me being female, playing the lesbian animations. Female/Male, however, still the same error and I even used your recommendation and done the showracemenu method. Still nothing changes.

And it's certainly not a binary issue either. Thus, I am out of troubleshooting ideas. Kind of wish mod creator was online, for he may have a solution.

Now you mention it's a race issue. Maybe two things:

NetImmerse Override is bugged or Racemenu is bugged. I mean, mod creator did mention the use of racemenu and enhanced, but recommended racemenu.

Edit: Tested without Netimmerse Override - failed. Tested without Racemenu - failed.

First - thank you so much for making and continuing this mod.  Gods praise you!

Second.... something's not working out with prostitution.   I can prostitute myself, but when I do the modifier+action key bit to select a follower (which works), the dialogue isn't any different when I hit K (surrender) to try to pimp the follower out to an NPC.

I dug through the last couple dozen pages of this thread, then searched google, but to no avail.

Does anybody know what I've done wrong?  :/

Edit:  Gone through the menu again.  Everything's set to be as sex-friendly as the MCM allows, so I can't imagine it'd be about the location or witness/morality stuff.

I want to have a certain chance that my followers get killed as a post-assault, but it never works.

Set the chance of getting robbed and killed to 100%, but still nothing.

Is anyone having the same problem ?

FIXED:

Had to hit "recongifgure" in the Defeat menu because it wasn't registering any of the creatures in the "enabled" or "dissabled" lists...

Is there a way for my female companions to be raped instead of my male player character. I want to be able to surrender and then have my followers raped, not my male player character. Also, if this worked for creatures too that be great. Any help appreciated! :)

Few options you can try. After being sure to set the MCMs options to allow...

1) You could activate gender specific requirements, and hope you don't run into any females durring knocked down state...

2) Disable the male on male aspect entirely...

3) Activate NPC vrs NPC, go into hiding, as your companions fight, if they go down, they will get raped...

Updated NMM and Defeat no longer worked on my companions.  ended  up uninstalling all SEX Lab mods, updating those that needed updating and reinstalled them all and ran loot, but defeat still ignores companions that are knocked down.

Double check your Player as Victim in the MCM, and specifically the Follower Collateral damage set, As well as NPC vrs NPC setting, for followers.

I'm not getting this to work... :/ What gender specific requirements are you referring to?

I have the NPC vs NPC settings set up correctly and they work when only companion is fighting. But if I am fighting I can't get creatures to assault my companions. It's a real turn off for me personally seeing the creatures assault my male pc.

If I disable "male creatures allowed" no animation occurs at all even though I have female companions.

I am referring to Male on male animations, so gender preference should be used. Won't entirely stop male creatures on your male character... OR you could try hiding, when combat begins, and let the girls do the fighting (Talk to her,"I need you to do something", aim at creature and left click 'attack'), and hang back with lower than 75 stealth skill. With 76+, you shouldn't have any problems hiding in plain sight. And change NPC Vrs. NPC : ALL DOWN, to something else, that way, they won't be looking for you still when your companion gets dropped, and just start doing her, then you have a choice to save her, or let her get boned by the creature(s).

I personally don't like having NPCs with me, because they trip all the traps, alert all enemies they are there, and jump in the way as I fire my arrows... With AFT, it changes several of these aspects, at least I have some control over it that way...

Where do I select gender preference? Sry, tried lookinging in so many places. I am trying to get this to work for creatures btw and they do not use male male animations. They just use plain creature animations on any target.

I've always found this tricky even with F/F follower, you can't always offer up or have your follower raped.  Also on converstation rapes, you still get done even after your follower... at least with multiple bandits.

What does work pretty well, is the knock down rape.  I can't remember off the top of my head, but it's the setting of WHEN rape can occur.  The default is 'both down'.   You can also have the follower automatically go down when you go down.

But there's an option to start the rape regardless of one or the other being up (might also be under NPC vs NPC). So she goes down, her rape starts.  If you go down, yours does although she might rescue you (also fun).

Not only is it funny, as you can have that going on while still battling, you can also command your follower to attack a giant say. And while the assault is going on (I assume she lost heh), you steal all his loot!!. But does take some tweaking of getting knocked down (think I have rape on knocked out AND bleedout, or whatever the options are called).  Also, for that to work, you have to hide until it starts, otherwise the creature comes for you.  But bandits seem not to if you're already in combat with another.

Yeah, I'm not familiar enough with all the other mods to notice any errors that would cause issues, real errors not the usual stuff you get in the logs.

Only other thing I noticed was looking at MY log where it works, F/M cowgirl with the player M on bottom (position 2).

[12/11/2016 - 09:53:18PM] Defeat: Player victim, Assault - Aggressor [Actor < (000543E6)>], Persuer (Should be the same) -> [Actor < (0001CE7A)>] // Raped - False // NumRapes - 0 // NumAgg - 2
[12/11/2016 - 09:53:19PM] Defeat: [Actor < (000543E6)>] wants to have a piece of ass / IsBadRelation

that's a Defeat message, mentions Player victim.  Not exactly what it means (yeah the dev would be great to see this), and doesn't help why you're not getting it if it's what you need to swap positions.

I have a different problem,

When my followers get knocked down they sometimes lose all dialogue options... when u try to talk to them they don't say anything though their lips move and the subtitles just show 3 dots... this always happens after i get a notification that one npc moves towards the other and this isnt just confined to assault on followers ... anyone in my vicinity being assaulted results in this bug. Other than that the mod works fine

if you go to talk, and don't have the "knocked down" option available, as you have to revive them. There are times, when the system is busy, and misses that they have been revived, or the scene is over. This is when you go into the Defeat Menu, and click on clean up under General Settings.

hmm... will try it out,

Thanks for the answer

Edit: I also have a suggestion ... my followers can assault each other in battle if one is knocked down..... this is somewhat disturbing since we are fighting someone who wants to kill us but sometimes one gets knocked down and the other one moves on him/her that is somewhat immersion breaking so if something could be done so that followers dont assault each other would be cool.... just a suggestion for when the author has the time.    Awesome mod tho everything else works great

Edit 2: Okay clean up did nothing and i dont think its defeat after all. It seems to affect followers that are selected through the default hot key(N in my case). About 3-4 mods use that action key namely sexlab, defeat, aroused and zaz animations pack. One of these 4 is responsible for the above mentioned bug. Just got to figure out which one and change that mod's hotkey.

Having an issue and was wondering if someone could help out. Sorry if it's been addressed before and I couldn't find it. My goal is to have it so when knocked down/surrendering and after the scene(s) are finished, the "left for dead" scenario starts with a 100% probablility. I'm also using the devious captures mod if it matters, but I don't see why it should. Anyway, surrendering works fine. Scene starts, finishes and teleports me away, no problems that I can see. Knocked down however, scene starts, ends, and then I get up like nothing's wrong and immediately get attacked again which kills me more often than not. No idea at all why this is. I have all required mods. Any ideas?

Check your settings for post assault most probably the enter into exhausted/trauma/shock state has 0% chance that is why PC gets back up almost immediately

Edit: Check player post assault settings in MCM the (Base) post assault should say trauma and not end

Thanks for replying so quick. Unfortunately I already have it set to trauma and still they attack immediately after defeat scene. In case it helps, I have the robbed event chance at 20% as well, and knock down way is Essential-On Bleedout with wound stun and exhaustion disabled.

Also if it helps, in player post-assault under left for dead settings I have it at 100%, enemy factions checked but only after sexual assault unchecked. Doubt it matters, but we'll see.

Edit: After further testing I've noticed that the devious captures mod is actually equiping devices after the scene finishes like it should, but even with multiple attackers it doesn't give anyone else a turn. Soon as the first scene's done, bam, back into combat with everyone.

Edit 2: I just had a thought. Would the console feed give any useful information? I could go through the scene and check it once it's done, but I don't think I'd be able to recognize anything useful.

Edit 3 (last one I promise): So I gave up and reinstalled both defeat and devious captures just in case. Good news: Everything seems to be working ok now so far, haven't tested very thoroughly yet though so fingers crossed. Bad news: Now I'll probably never know what the problem was so I can't learn from the experience :(

if you go to talk, and don't have the "knocked down" option available, as you have to revive them.

Under NPC Vrs NPC, there are follower options there as well, Follower As Aggressor, disable it, and they won't be able to assault each other or enemies, or just have 1 follower with you. I don't think the system is set up for using more than 1 follower at a time.

Edit: hmm, look for an option under NPC vrs NPC for something like "Can be knocked down by anyone" and be sure it's disabled, that way they can't assault each other... Instead of disabling their ability to assault...

Easiest fix, is to ensure, defeat is at the bottom of the load order, when there are conflicts, and Devious Devices does seem to conflict with defeat often, that is why I don't use them. Also, I wouldn't use them for me, if they worked on companions when I tried it, they are the ones who would be wearing them ;) However, when defeat is under Devious devices mod sets, then some of the Devious functions will fail to work. *this has been an on going back and forth between them since Devious Devices was created* Meaning, you will have to choose between the 2 with full functionality.

I keep reading in here that defeat puts the victim in first slot, and I have no doubt it does...

Tho, I have issues with what is generally considered to be the victim role in some animations... specifically F/F anims... In a F/M blowjob animation the victim is the female, naturally, on her knees giving head...  but if the aggressor is female in a lesbian animation the roles are all of a sudden reversed. The victim role is the one recieving and the aggressor is the one getting sore knees... this is where I dont agree, I Think it should be the other way...

Defeats "Female first" option will not fix that as female first in a FF animation will do nothing. Only thing that option is really good for is the cowgirl animation. So instead of an option that looks for a female to put first, would it be possible to make a "reverse roles" option? In a cowgirl animation the result would be the same as "female first" wouldnt it? ...and it would also be able to fix FF anims or any other you would want to switch positions in...

I might be going back to the 3.5.3 fixed because this is way, way bigger than I want. Now my female aggressors are all doing lesbian consensual animations rather than using strapons on their victims. Having to click and open a menu 30 times to add animations with tags that are confusing at best to get the old functionality back is a little more than frustrating.
