not sure if this help you.. maybe you scripts overload. in your list to many heavy scripts mod.

Uninstall some of them will solve one of your problem using defeat in game

 

try install LOOT,Wyrebash, TES5edit to correct load order + find conflict mod by your self

I definitely ran LOOT and Wyrebash to death, as for TES5edit, mixed results, it can tell me if there's a startup crash and what it is, but because the nature of the error is only upon dying, I've not the knowledge of how to track it.

 

If there was a way to do so that I'm simply unaware, or more so if I could figure out which mods hog the most memory, something like a diagnostic for the game.

 

Either way, I'll look into it. 

 

Indeed, after looking into it, it seems that Sexlab Defeat, HATES not having enough memory in terms of scripting.

 

My problem is, I am unsure what mods other than Frostfall and RND are particularly scripted, and in that, what I can swap out for great effect, to give it room.

 

I've swapped out RND for iNeed, as well as several other papyrus tweaks, emboost, that acceleration layer thing, but so far it isn't enough to keep the scripting down and happy for Defeat...

 

Any insight on how to free up scripting space would be greatly appreciated!

i dont like the cover yourself Animation at the end. not to my taste. possible to make it optional or how can i get rid of it ?  (deleting the meshes/animation/defeat/coveryourself makes the pc completly without Animation, even Walking)

 

You can just jump after and it breaks the animation and it doesn't start again.

No matter how I seem to configure things, I cannot rape an enemy.  Whenever I knock one down, rape is not an option.  I sheath my weapon, killed everyone else, sent my companions away, and still it is not an option. If I put them in a sack, and release half a world a way and days later, they are still hostile and all I can do is kill them.  Sneak attack on not hostiles works great, but I want to knock down that cute little forsworn girl and take out a generations worth of anger on her tight little ass.

 

Just give me a rundown of the settings that will make this work. I'm not keen on activating player as victim, and I generally play as a male player.

Been testing out defeat and noticed that NPC vs NPC post-assault scripts don't even bother to kick in.  In all tests NPC just stands there and can actually be talked to as if I was not an enemy (female bandit lost a fight to a bear, the bear walked away happy, I talked to a clueless cheerful bandit who didn't attack me post-assault.  Might as well have a chasing butterflies script here lol...).  Upon looking at their active spell effects after assault I noticed this spell "DefeatSTrueCalmSPL."  Just wondering why they are calmed when the option I selected for post-assault was flee and trauma for NPC vs NPC?

 

I do have SL_Stop Combat running in tandem with this mod but Defeat is loaded near the bottom of the load order (used LOOT).  Don't think it has anything to do with this mod because disabling it doesn't correct the error.

So my defeat no longer works after updating to 5.1.  

 

I uninstalled the old version, cleaned up all old defeat scripts with savetool.  Loaded the game, saved it without defeat. Then installed Defeat 5.1, ran FNIS and stared it up.  I configured Defeat in game, 100% chance when health goes below 20% and nothing happens, I go into bleed out with DAYMOYL and never get assaulted.

 

I tried surrendering: My hands go up/cower, combat stops, enemy walks up to me and then re-initiates combat.  

 

I've updated/verified FNIS, SKYUI, Sexlab and SKSE are all up to date and nothing.

 

I've checked all the settings in Defeat to ensure it is set up correctly to no avail.  

 

Has anyone else had this problem and know a solution?  Short of toggling all my mods to see if there are any conflicts I'm not sure what else I can do unfortunately.

 

I reinstalled in this order when I had that problem:

 

1. Uninstall Defeat

2. Run FNIS for Users

3. Load save, make new clean save, exit game

4. Open clean save with SaveTool, click "Fix all" followed by "FixScriptInstances" to remove orphaned scripts left over by uninstalled defeat and clicked save.

5. Reinstall Defeat

6. Run FNIS for users again

7. Run LOOT and make sure Defeat is at or close to bottom of list (LOOT placed it 3 to last on load order for me).

8. Ready to play

 

On a side note its always good to use SaveTool on clean saves after removing a mod.  For better chances of not having save files full of corrupt data, always force save using command console i.e., "save xxxxx" in command console (without quotations) and main key on this is not to overwrite a save, keep making new saves numerically, alphabetically or however you like to name them.  Autosaves and quicksaves tends to put in a lot of garbage data that can make a character unplayable so its best to disable these functions.  It may be a hassle to always open up command console every 10-15 minutes to do a save but its worth it.  Or if you are good with computer programming, make a simple text file that you can use to do the saves for you numerically by simply using the "BAT xxxx" in console command (I'm horrible at it and its probably very simple).

I am experiencing a rather frustrating issue, I used Defeat before the release of 5.1 but now on a copy of skyrim that has no previous defeat scripts or files defeat just won't enable, the MCM menu appears but when I try to set the mod to enabled it brings up the box to tell me to close the menu and wait but then nothing happens, the mod never starts.

EDIT: Don't worry, I somehow managed to get defeat working, not sure how exactly since I have been trying for days and essentially repeated a bunch of stuff that I had done before... anyway no need to worry. (but that's when I worry the most!(I hope someone gets that...))

Yeah I ended up getting it to "work" again.  I did all of what you said initially with no results.  

 

I ended up having to reinstall then reset Sexlab to default settings and it worked, however surrendering, Creature interactions and Creature defeat was broken.  Had to reinstall all my creatures mod and now it works again.  Although whenever raped, I am permanently tied up and defenseless when attacked unless I save, exit Skyrim and restart.  sigh glitches

I have trouble getting the surrender scripts running too.  I found that only certain npcs who aren't interacting with furniture (workbenches, grindstones, etc) will actually accept the surrender.  In my case my hands are up and a bandit is ignoring the surrender and walking away only to turn around moments later to hack away at me.  Otherwise my only issue is with NPC vs NPC which is only running correctly 50/50 of the time.  Tied up animations on player with defeat though?  Never had that animation happen to my character.  Are you using Zaz's animation pack too?  If so it could just be a load order issue.  I use the current up-to-date LOOT to sort my load order.  Whats yours look like?  Below is mine to use as an example, all of it is as LOOT arranged them minus UFO which had major issues with another mod, dual sheath redux.

Hey Goubo, I have an idea for an "add-on" to Defeat to replace the default animations for the Necrophilia option with Funnybizness' "unconcious" animations

It's probably a simple thing to set up, but I've never modded Skyrim before and I figure this is a good opportunity to learn. It'll be a separate add-on from Defeat, I'm not necessarily asking you to incorporate it directly into Defeat (though that would be cool). I just wanted to clear it with you first since it would work through Defeat's Necro option.

 Yes, but that doesn't really help papyrus memory, and from what I've heard, tweaking papyrus memory doesn't really -help- either. I tried sexlab leveling, and I assume because it operates on a similar scenario, it does the same crash, at death, some script, varying from crash to crash a bit, but always something along side defeat in the papyrus log. 

 

The best I can understand, when I die, it gets to the point, when it would try to start loading back a save, and if I had to make a guess, its at that point that all the scripts trying to load back + Sexlab Defeat running, is causing some sort of overflow crash.

 

Kinda discouraging, but its my current working theory based on the events of the papyrus scripts I've read and that it seems to get better with less "Script Heavy" mods. I actually god rid of several, such as footprints, locational damage, ultimate combat, to name a few. And this actually creates substantial slack in the memory pool, as the error won't occur for some time, but it will eventually occur. 

 

Much the same day, repeating this scenario, playing for an hour plus span without the mod on, it never happens. Something centric to Defeat is absolutely touchy, and I've no idea how to fix it.

 

Its all extreme frustrating.

 

This may seem like a long shot or hell mary but does this happen in COMBAT death or all deaths reason is some player related problems have been solved by player suicide aka jumping off a montain or very high building which forces a clear reset of the player character  yea long shot

Hm i have issues with Defeat since i downloaded it the first time, also now after the updates and such. I tired everything but can't get it work.

Well at beginning after i install defeat and use it ingame it works fine...

but after my 2nd or 2rd surrender it won't work anymore.

When i surrender my character stands there, unable to walk... and nothing happens. All npc's stop attacking me..

then after some seconds i can walk again and the NPC's attack me again, it is like i never surrender.

I also tried use it with a clean skyrim install, and all requirements, also new or old savegame wont help. Everytime after some surrenders it wont work anymore. :(

Someone knows this Bug and could help me fix it, or is there another Mod like Defeat which i can choose?

After I rape a defeated and permanently tied npc, they are shown as hostile enemies again (though still tied up and thus not attacking) and I can't rape them again. Is that supposed to happen?

Hm i have issues with Defeat since i downloaded it the first time, also now after the updates and such. I tired everything but can't get it work.

 

Well at beginning after i install defeat and use it ingame it works fine...

 

but after my 2nd or 2rd surrender it won't work anymore.

 

When i surrender my character stands there, unable to walk... and nothing happens. All npc's stop attacking me..

 

then after some seconds i can walk again and the NPC's attack me again, it is like i never surrender.

Manual surrender has always been glitchy as far as I've tested with each update.  As I've posted above in my findings certain npcs refuse to run Defeat scripts when you manual surrender like in your case where they just walk away.  This happens when you encounter enemy npcs in the world map while exploring.  The scripts are a 50/50 hit and miss when inside areas, though, so you just have to keep trying it until it works.  A good way to keep the scripts running as long as possible is going to Halted Stream Camp north-west of Whiterun whenever loading a game.  I found that when my manual surrender fails to run correctly, going here and manual surrendering to the bandits outside of the camp will make it work as intended.  Afterwards it normally works as intended everywhere else.  This is just for my game, it may not work for you but it won't hurt to try.

 

However, how does defeat behave if your character is forced to surrender via low health, low stamina or stunned?  Do you go down with a bleedout animation forcing the enemy npcs out of combat and make them come over to undress you or do they leave you alone?

I'm having almost every issue everyone above mentioned. Surrendering randomly stops working, trying to rape sleeping NPCs does nothing, I think it has to do with script lag. Will you be optmizing the mod any further in the next major patch? Otherwise I may just have to stop using Defeat altogether.

Thank you for your hard work, this is more stable then the former version, but it sometimes still have some issue that can not act as expect..

Such as I pressed the key to surrender, then the enemy accept my surrender an let me go without sex...

And sometimes it stucks...

so could you please take sometime to look into it? of course, if you have time... After all, this is only a game, have a nice life is more important..

Known problem with the 5.10 version. After the first time you surrender it no longer works. Fix is to install this patch suggested by the author:

I see the page you linked, but I'm not sure this would be good for my current game...

I'm afraid to install too many plugins or patchs into the game which makes the game unstable...

I think I'd better wait for the author to update it is better...

On page 388 of this thread, WaxenFigure has a defeatplayer.pex file that fixed this issue for me.  Backup your current defeatplayer.pex, then copy his over yours, and it might fix it.  Worked for me, but your results may vary.

Um, did you, perhaps, mean to link something else? That's a different patch for a different mod, for a very different purpose.

It's one thing to look up the message to get the link to it and another to actually copy the link to the clipboard. Yeah, that other link was a heads up to someone else and shouldn't have been there.

I just discovered a strange behavior. Whenever my character is knocked down by human and humanoid bandits (Khajit, Argonian), things work as normal. However, whenever it is a vampire, or a vampire-associated NPC like a thrall, my character would be knocked down but the NPCs would not be calmed, but would carry on attacking.

 

Have there been similar reports?

I installed UI extensions, but the "options" key doesn't seem to work, it just opens a menu that lets me disable follower as aggressor and such. If I interract ("E" key) with a beaten npc while she's being raped by my follower, I do get the option of opening the Controller menu and change the animation. But I don't know how to change the pose of a tied npc (If that's even supposed to be possible?)

 

EDIT: I just saw that there's supposed to be a "pose" item in the "tie options" menu, but it doesn't appear for me, even though I installed UIextensions...

 

EDIT again: Disabling and reenabling Defeat did it. One of these days I'm gonna think of these things -before- I ask questions...

I've tested V5.1.0 on a new game and Defeat still doesn't work on vampires and their thralls. My character would get knocked down but the vampires would remain hostile.
