I have Death Alternative, and started having problems on a new game where I was essentially invincible... when my girl lost all her health, she didn't go into bleed out or anything, just kept fighting as if all was well. I started another new game and tested with only Death Alternative active, and found that bleed outs and black outs were working OK again. I then enabled Defeat (only the DA portion, not the new 'wound' and 'exhaustion' stuff), and with this running, my character would go into bleed out as normal, and bandits would either keep hitting her to drain the bleed out bar, or they would walk away. This was with Defeat set to 50% chance of triggering. When I set Defeat to 100% chance, bandits would walk away every time. I then enabled the 'wound' feature, set health threshold to 80% and chance on hit to 100%. As soon as my character went under 80% health, she went down into bleed out mode, but the bandits immediately stopped fighting and walked away. They'd go aggressive again as soon as she stood up, but once more became passive when she took a knee. I'm pretty stumped! Log included in case it helps. Edit: Of note, I'm running Sexlab 1.58b - If all else fails, I may try reverting to 1.57 this evening after work.

Some NPCs (particulary those who are involved in a scene) just don't want to do what Defeat tells them to do, I've yet to find a solution for this, Surrender works on them and it uses basically the same system... I'll find a way to fix this eventually.
entro Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 I started a new game and had my 1st defeat (yay! ). Anyway, had a weird glitch where when the struggle bar came up the rape animation started right away as i was filling the bar and I could rotate my character while the animation was playing. I think it had something too do with the auto-freecam in sexlab. Couldn't reproduce it so i think it was a one-time thing but i turned off the auto-free cam on animation starts and i think i will just use the hotkey too activate once the animations get going. Also another weird thing I'm noticing is when i go into bleedout using DA my characters stands right back up several times before Defeat kicks in thru DA.
circ Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 When the aggressors turn hostiles again the controls are disabled? Controls work, but there's no trauma triggering most of the time. I'm just left there clothed or sometimes naked and they turn aggro on me again after 5 seconds. It's a little jarring to go from being raped to Now you die, instead of raped, a short pause, maybe a little more dialogue which was great too by the way although sometimes it wouldn't trigger - and then Now you die.

Slorm Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 Just a thought for those who are having an issue with the surrender hotkey. Do any of you use SD+ as well? I'm fairly certain SD+ has it's own surrender hotkey, which is also mapped by default to K. So by changing Defeat's hotkey to something else you might still get SD+ surrender options pop up when pressing the K key. (SexLab also uses K for switching between actors if you want to adjust position during an animation.) I remap most of my hotkeys to number pad buttons every playthrough, trying to leave as little as possible as letter keys. When I'm renaming items I enchant, I'd rather not keep attempting to submit to the enchanting table! I don't use SD+ and still have the same issue with the surrender hotkey not remapping
Saeros Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 I noticed a very useful thing using the "Save game cleaner script" tool. the scripts no longer present in the clean-save, are marked with a #-> before the name (see image below) simply select the save-to-clean with the mod uninstalled (after step 5 of the Goubo install guide) and delete all scripts with #-> then install the new version of the mod and load. everything works perfectly, great job Goubo thanks!
RedWave6988 Posted July 9, 2014 Posted July 9, 2014 I got a strange "bug" (I didn't see any solutions in the previous post) but it seems every time I try to grapple with someone I always end up killing them and not putting them in bleed out state O.o, it used to work previously and i cant for the life of me figure out what i did to mess it up

redlove108 Posted July 10, 2014 Posted July 10, 2014 I really do enjoy this mod but I seem to be able to break it rather easily. I have a gift of sorts for it. That or Skyrim is just extra buggy. Let me paint the scenario I keep repeating to test this mod: Nearby is a group of 4 women in daedric armor and swords because this other mod is mean and likes to put super strong guards. I charge in, get my ass kicked in two sword swipes. The bleed out begins and I am juggled a bit between being knocked down and hit. A moment later they have threesomes with me, a pair at a time. After they are done. I am given a chance to run, oddly enough. So I try and die. This time a blackout occurs and I am tied up. One of them randomly becomes my "Master" and begin beating on me. Another black screen happens and that ends abruptly. Afterward I have a master who I have to follow and please. So I try what I can and the camera breaks after the first sex scene. The camera is in 3rd person and locked in place, but my character can do 360 turns and even run off, put the camera doesn't stay. The "master" got attacked by something. I ran off and ran into the other 3 who were apart of the original 4 that took me down. These 3 just beat me up and tied me up. However did not rape..? I guess because I had a master. Also the camera got locked again but this time it only moves up and down but not left and right. I can not go into first person either. I am now stuck with nothing to do as the nearby NPCs are not aggressive and my master is lost. I do not understand what the symbols on the right are. Nor why I am glowing with electricity/power. I had to wait until one of the NPCs got infront of me so I could ask them to help me escape. When I offered her something sexual. I was immediately orbited aka thrown to the top of the screen and falling. The game reloads? I think? When it finishes the one who is trying to help me has begun humping the air while I myself and attacked by the other 2 NPCs that were still around. So I'm failing around while she's humping the air. A few more black screens and my would be savior is my new master. My camera is still stick, I am still glowing and I am clueless what to do. At this point I quit and would restart my save. Another I notice. Robbery doesn't seem to work even when set at 100%. Then again I got 4 attackers so if one was to rob it might stumble on itself with everything else going on. Soo.... any ideas of how to fix this? At least something that could be done to fix the camera issue and allow my character to move again? Also all this was done with the latest version: V5b3.1 I did do a clean save from the previous version I was using. Honestly it actually works better now than it did with the previous version I used as odd as that sounds. I'm not posting this to rant or anything. I know that it's beta and I know that skyrim can be buggy. I just want to see if I done anything wrong. Maybe some settings I need to adjust or a required mod that I might be missing. I keep reading about Death Alternative being spoke about in this thread and little explaination about it given. I had to google to find out what it is and I wonder if I need to install the original or not because I don't have it. I have all the mods mentioned in the OP installed. So any help would be greatly appreciated.

Ran out, found some bandits, and now Defeat appears to be working as it should. At least, the Death Alternative portion is working... I haven't gotten to test the other ways of it triggering yet, but already I'm ahead of where I was. So... something going on with Sexlab 1.58b? I'm guessing not everyone is having this problem, or else this thread would be way more full of complaints, but I also don't know if others are running Defeat alongside Death Alternative, or if they're just using it the regular ol' way.

Yah I can confirm not everyone is having issues with the latest sexlab! I've been testing it and Defeat and everything I tried has been working as advertised. Buuuut I also start a fresh game every time I add or update a mod for testing so people who are actually playing the game and upgrading those mods on existing savegames may have different experiences

Buuuut I also start a fresh game every time I add or update a mod for testing so people who are actually playing the game and upgrading those mods on existing savegames may have different experiences I am like you... I make new games when mods update, or at least when there are significant updates. Even if I intend on trying to integrate the update into a current save, I'll generally start a new game first to at least test it and avoid exactly the sort've issues I'm having right now... or at least, prevent those issues from being my fault. In this case, however, I just couldn't get it working with a new game. Since others are able to get it working, I suppose it means some other mod is conflicting, but I'm not near savvy enough to figure out what the log is saying (if anything), and there's only so much mod enabling/disabling I'm willing to do before I just revert to a previous version that works and play that way.

I've been knocked down and i've knocked down NPCs, however both times whenever I try to rape them or they try to rape me, there's a grab animation and then it's over, if anything at all. I went and re-read Sanguine's Debauchery and it makes sense now everything that has been happening. So these two mods are stepping on each other's toes it seems. I was having problems when I had "Submit + Devious Devices Progression Mod" installed. I decided to take it off to see if it improved my situation and it did. However it appears the 3 mods step on each others toes and conflict pretty hard, essentially breaking each other. Ashame they don't work well together because that would be awesome if NPCs were a bit more random with what they do with you. Like one just ties you up and leaves you be. Another enslaves you. Another robs you, etc. Thanks though! For clearing that up for me!

Defeat and SD+ already support death alternative,so you can get them to work together. Submit is a bit trickier, but if you unckeck DA's option to make you immortal, and set submit to auto submit on death, you can get the submit scenarios to trigger on the rare chance that DA lets you die.

afa Posted July 10, 2014 Posted July 10, 2014 So... With the new surrender and followers features I boot up AFT and grab two followers to try to get into some trouble. Started a new game and PC is now level 4, still have yet to see any action from Defeat I am not sure if the followers keep fighting in surrender is a good move, followers are too resilient to go down for a long time. Especially if there's more than one around. Right now unless I set the sliders to some very easy to trigger levels for testing purpose it'll rarely trigger naturally. Exhaustion seems to not work? I kept the default sliders % but disable back hit only, have yet to get knock down. Edit: ok got the grappling move to trigger, oddly enough it seems like PC getting grapple knocks down followers as well. However there was no animation followup, everyone got back up after some time. Have yet to see a power attack knock down, again with default settings. Not using DA by the way.

entro Posted July 10, 2014 Posted July 10, 2014 I think I will just leave DA alone, I have the setting for Defeat Chance too trigger on DA bleedout set too 100% and I still get attacked non-stop most of the time. That and my character gets up two or three times before Defeat kicks in if it does. DA seems awesome but I rather give that up and stick with Defeat solely for knocked downs and post-assault events.

Since I can't post links yet, just google search for "limping animation skyrim". It's the first find and it's the last post in the thread. Also, if you search for "walking sick or injured vimeo Suludi" on google, you find his video on Vimeo, which he posted a month ago. Do you think you could discuss his progress with it and maybe add it as an alternative "hard mode" when you try to make your escape? It seems unlikely that you would just stand up from an unfortunate encounter with 4 bandits in the woods and run away with your normal jogging pace like it was nothing. I loved the addition of the several "shocked" poses and animations in the new release and I think this would add to that, if it would be something optional. Though you might have to implement a longer time before the aggression starts again or have the bandits eventually fall asleep when they're thoroughly done with you and your companions. Otherwise the slow pace might keep you in an endless cycle. Ah, also, if someone could post the links to the thread and video of the animation, that'd be great! Edited July 10, 2014 by E. Hyde
blindmankind Posted July 10, 2014 Posted July 10, 2014 goubo, i wanna thank you for the update and inplemented option to reequip the clothes after rape (it works really great now^^), also that the positions works for all chars on rape ❤but i still got a old and a new problem after updated the mod- when the rape is over, alltime the enemy turn friendly and when i attack them after they get friendly i get alltime a bounty and all other friendly npcs arround attack me to - it happen on both, npc that turn on talk to a enemy and also normal enemys like bandits- and with the new update i got problems with animations on rape - when my pc or companion rape a npc, then all animations works fine, but when my pc or companion get raped, then mostly both actors just stay on the point and animations do not work, sometimes only the aggressor do animationsall the animations with other mods worksi use sexlab 1.58b and fnis 5.11me thanks for your help :]
