germanicus Posted July 3, 2014 Posted July 3, 2014 Okay, so I have a little problem with this mod. I cannot, in any situation, knock anyone to the ground. I tried the resist system, but the resist bar never shows up and always says that 'You did not successfully grabbed your victim'. I tried using threshold, and reduced the HP of the NPC to well below 20%, still shows the same message. Is there something wrong with the settings? Or with the installation? Any and all help is welcome! According to my experience, some enemies are stronger than your PC and it is difficult to knock them down even after many tries. Also, the mod system checks your health and stamina status too. If your PC has been raped few times already, your knocking down is "weaker" and it will take a time until will be "capable" to knock down stronger enemies. So various conditions and mod tunning influence on your PCs ability to be successful in knocking enemies down. Just be persistent and you'll get them. I experienced that even after 90% of successful knocking down enemies, there are still some of them that I can't knock down at all. That is not the bug or similar. It is the way how the game is rolling.

I was testing this out on a Bandit, and my PC is level 39, so I'm sure that I'm much stronger than her, especially since I had to bash her with a torch over and over to get her HP below 20%. My PC has never been raped before. And about the mod tuning, could you give me how I should set the settings of my Defeat?
SkyrimReturner Posted July 3, 2014 Posted July 3, 2014 I did a clean removal of all mods and reverifed Skyrim client via Steam. Now it seems all the functionalities of Defeat that were partially working are working fine now. Thanks =) I do have one question though - on the strip resist mechanic, it says resistance depends on how many clothing. However, even when I'm fully armored, it seems the aggressors only 'strip' the chest piece and Defeat starts. The other armor pieces don't seem to count to the timer. I did go to SL and configure the agressive stripping to all items on the Victim. And also enabled the Unequip option in Defeat for Wep, Armor and the other 3 slots. Am I missing something, or is this working as intended?
WaxenFigure Posted July 3, 2014 Posted July 3, 2014 I don't know if you should be running sexaddicts with your sexlab mods, since it's basically a sex and rape mod before sexlab even existed, so it might behave in odd ways with sexlab stuff. As long as you don't set things up so one NPC is involved in sex acts started by both mods at one they'll be able to work fine together. If you do get an actor in two sex acts at once they'll just be teleported between the two sex acts which can be jarring to immersion but funny to watch.
Goubo Posted July 4, 2014 Author Posted July 4, 2014 I'll try to release the update this weekend as well as a good refresh of the description & some screenshots, if you have good screenshots to show some features of the mod you can send it to me by PM if you want. About Necro I'm trying to change it by adding life in the corpse instead of resurrect the NPC but it is still really glitchy with the ragdoll... Okay, so I have a little problem with this mod. Any and all help is welcome! If you get that message it's because you can grab the NPC but the animation did not start properly, you need to have some space behind the NPC you try to grab, sometimes though the animation just don't want to start (Skyrim problem), you can fix this by unequipping your weapon and try to grab again with bare hands, changing weapon works too I believe.
appeltje1988 Posted July 4, 2014 Posted July 4, 2014 Can some one make an installation vid of this mod ? or a screenshot tutorial ? have uninstall this mod like 4 times already and reinstall my skyrim 2 times. And still can't get this thing to work =.= getting anoywed ~~

Thank you for that! I have it working now, but whenever my follower and/or I rape someone, they always get agressive afterwards, and they'll just punch us over and over XD

And still can't get this thing to work =.= getting anoywed ~~ Make sure you have sexlab 1.58 or what ever the most current one is, with all it's requirements. Then download Defeat to your computer HD somewhere. Use NMM or MO to install the mod, then log into the game wait and minute or two. Hit esc key and go to the MCM menu, find Defeat and hit enable mod. Then close the esc menu and wait a minute or two(how long depends on your computer and how many script heavy mods you are running). After a bit you should get a message in the upper left of the screen saying Defeat has been installed. That's it. If after doing that the mod is not working, then you have a problem but that is how it is installed.

I have done that, I get the message ingame that the mod is loading up First sexlab is being installed Then i move to activate defeat, then it says it's has been activated. Then i spawn a bandit to test out I get knocked down, "tied" stripped then nothing happens. I stand idle as my attacker then he attacks me and kills me No rape animation what so ever. Dont get why this mod is so hard to get working =_= installation on the first page make it seems easy meh Oke i'll descripe all mods and how i install them, maybe someone can tell me what im doing wrong: SexLab Framework SexLabFramework.v158b.7z installed SexLab_v150_to_v158b_Update.zip installed SKYUI 4.1 installed SKSE 1.7 installed FNIS installed Install FNIS Behavior V5_1 -- ALWAYS necessary Install Creature Pack V5_1 (optional, necessary for creature animation mods) Install FNIS Idle Spells V5_0_1 -- ADD-ON for the spells (optional, necessary for the spells) Install other FNIS dependant mods (see mod list below) Goto to your Skyrim Installation directory(usually C:/Program Files (x86)/Steam/SteamApps/common/skyrim), and from there toData/tools/GenerateFNIS_for_Users Start GenerateFNISforUsers.exe AS ADMINISTRATOR (part of FNIS Behavior, and ABSOLUTELY NECESSARY, or NOTHING works) Select Behavior patches (ONLY those you need!) Click "Update FNIS Behavior" When installing FNIS these files, it ask if i need to update the mod, i click on NO Oke so that's the requirements for defeat mod. To add other mods are this: Skyrim Beautiful Followers - SBF installed ApachiiSkyHairinstalled Caliente's Beautiful Bodies Edition -CBBEinstalled A Quality World Map - With Roadsinstalled Better males - Beautiful nudes and faces - New hairstyles+erected version installed Killer Keos Skimpy CBBE V2-V3 Armor Replacer -Work In Progress installed Quick Start - Skip The Opening Sequence installed Immersive Weaponsinstalled I used the NNM to install all files and mods. So where did i go wrong =.=
WaxenFigure Posted July 4, 2014 Posted July 4, 2014 ... I used the NNM to install all files and mods. So where did i go wrong =.= NMM is a possible place where you went wrong, make sure you disabled the option to exclude readme files in that software, it is a defective option that excludes files required by FNIS to know which animations a mod is adding. FNIS is another possible problem point, did you get a No Errors run or did you have an error and just ignored it (warnings are not errors but you should consider any warnings too). What did FNIS display when you ran it (cut and paste the contents of the scrolling log box to a reply)? Also install Sexlab Matchmaker mod and see if you can have sex using that mod. You need to verify you have a working Sexlab installation before you assume there's something wrong with the install of this mod.
xgkf Posted July 4, 2014 Posted July 4, 2014 Aside from using NMM, period? When setting the health threshold values (since you're not using DA), are you leaving the minimum at 0% and setting the maximum to 100% (for testing purposes, should set max to around 20% or less for regular play)? Leaving the minimum at 0% is especially important, because if your health drops below whatever this value is set to Defeat will stop even trying to start a rape sequence (meaning if minimum is 100%, you'll never see a rape scene).
Toopsie Posted July 4, 2014 Posted July 4, 2014 I used the NMM Good God, I wouldn't wish that on my worst enemies. Learn how to use Mod Organizer, it's a far better tool for modding Skyrim. It comes with LOOT integration as well.

Im sorry if i feel like im attacking the mod but yea just been so long and still can get it to work haha got frustrated.. Sorry. Uhm this is the list of the FNIS scan thingy.. Just to see if i can get sec with the matchmaker mod. I'll update when it works
BeowulfMKII Posted July 4, 2014 Posted July 4, 2014 For those people who having trouble with animations (npcs and player undress but just stand there) try opening the console from time to time. It's weird but works. I noticed that after i open the console a line with the name of the animation gets added.
SkyrimReturner Posted July 4, 2014 Posted July 4, 2014 Hmmm. I just installed several new SL mods: Deviant assets. Deviant Integrated. Deviant captures. Deviant helpless. DDRestrained. Solutions Attraction Approach. Not sure which one conflicts or its a non new game issue, but now whenever I enter bleedout on DA, instead of Defeat triggering, the PC regens HP and goes back to combat. No knockdown effect. The HP regen is within 1-2 secs. I kept all Df and DA settings as they were pre mods.
WaxenFigure Posted July 4, 2014 Posted July 4, 2014 ... Reading SexLab V?.? ... Reading SexLabCreature V1.58 ... ... You (or NMM) have not installed Sexlab properly. With the 1.58B version you should be seeing a 1.58 version on both of those but one of them is not showing the version which means you still have a file from an older version of Sexlab present. Again, make sure that damned option to exclude readme files in NMM is turned OFF. Then reinstall the Sexlab Framework.

When you are done you can tell US which mod causes the problem.
SkyrimReturner Posted July 4, 2014 Posted July 4, 2014 Right. I will try and see which mod it is. Another question, does the resist mechanic depend on all armor pieces or just the chest? For me it seems the aggressor only need remove the one piece before triggering defeat.
jihadoftomorrow Posted July 4, 2014 Posted July 4, 2014 Is it okay to install both Submit and Defeat?
xgkf Posted July 5, 2014 Posted July 5, 2014 In versions past I believe it was, but now days there seem to be some compatibility issues between the two if they're not set up carefully because they both have features that do things the other one does, and usually having two separate mods that do more-or-less the same thing is a bad idea.
RDKateran Posted July 5, 2014 Posted July 5, 2014 ... Reading SexLab V?.? ... Reading SexLabCreature V1.58 ... ... You (or NMM) have not installed Sexlab properly. Oddly enough I've had the same phenomenon on FNIS (where it doesn't list Sexlab's version number), but I've not experienced a single animation-related issue despite it.
hullay Posted July 5, 2014 Posted July 5, 2014 Is it okay to install both Submit and Defeat? Yes. You can have Submit trigger on HP 0% and Defeat trigger between 5% ~ 20% for example. Or you can install Death Alternative and let Defeat trigger on bleedout and turn off auto-submit for Submit so you can only submit manually. (Recommended, since Death Alternative has many post-death scenarios and even if you get "you are still in combat" Submit error, you'll just bleedout and Defeat will trigger).
obfuscanator Posted July 5, 2014 Posted July 5, 2014 This is more of a personal taste thing than an actual problem. Is there some combination of settings I can't find that will keep the PC from stripping/unequipping everything off of victims? Even disabling the stripping for every option for every interaction defined in the mod (PC as aggressor, victim, npc vs npc), and disabling all stripping in LL Framework seems to make no difference. Or is that intentional? Otherwise, great mod and I've had no real problems to speak of.
BeowulfMKII Posted July 5, 2014 Posted July 5, 2014 How to modify the time that the npc gets automatically untied? I know that it's 5 game hours but where's the script that defines that?
frankfrank0815 Posted July 5, 2014 Posted July 5, 2014 Defeat V5b3, sometimes got CTD when knock down NPCs, only installed SEXLAB1.57, Aroused v20140124, ZazAnimationPack_V0553, PSQ, and other requirements MODs, At other times it runs stability, what's the problem? +1
