americantragedy Posted June 27, 2014 Posted June 27, 2014 Hello, I've been playing with this mod for a while now. I am just about to install the newest version v5b3. However, every time after my PC is involved in an animation I am unable to equip spells or weapons from the quick menu. The PC is also unable to attack in any way. It's very odd and annoying because the end result is I have to save the game and quit to desktop startup the game again and reload to continue from this point. Has anyone else experienced this bug? Is there a fix for it?

Threesomes are working fine with other mods? For the second attempt, what do you mean? Custom race shouldn't be a problem, but try with a vanilla one. I installed the mod through NMM, and made sure to run FNIS and BOSS each time I install mods that change animations. =) The defeat animations work fine - its just the threesomes never trigger; always 1on1. I had threesomes working with the Radiant Pros military camp quest though. I have not seen it with any other mods. Second attempt I was referring to the option where it says attacked can have another attempt at the victim (chance for agressor to want another turn). I've never seen this happen (even at 100%) unless it's followed by a second defeat. Now, I have installed some new mods likes Apropos, Zaz animations. Defeat still has the above bugs, but one more - in caves when it triggers, my character and the attacker get teleported to the sky (or just fall through the ground) and I fall down relocated to another location nearby. I'm not sure if this is exclusive to indoors only. I tried reloading saves and restarting after FNIS/BOSS. But stil same issue. Could it have been caused by incompatibilities with any of these: Zaz animations, DA, Spectators, Dangerous N, Immersive First Person

Enemies will go after them if they down her themselves, but if both of us are down, they only rape my character, and completely ignore my follower. I don't know if that's a problem with this mod or some incompatibility with Cerwiden, the follower I've been testing this with.

Is there a fix for it? Ok by "involve in an animation" do you mean ALL sexlab related animation or just Defeat scenario animation? If it is trigger by Defeat, as in PC gets knock down, then animation happens. After all enemies are done with the PC there's a period of time PC can not attack or re-equip armor/weapon. That's the time you are suppose to run away (or the timer will end itself) you can then re-equip and fight afterward.

Thank you, afa, for explaining what I should have known by now. ; This may be a bug though, when playing dawnguard quest when you are in the Soul Cairne apparently if a boneman knocks you down you can get stuck in the knocked down position for an infinite amount of time. Had to deactivate the mod to be able to stand back up.
Gameplayer Posted June 28, 2014 Posted June 28, 2014 Not sure if this is because I somehow borked my game up but. With Death Alternative you get a -50% health debuff. With Defeat you get a -100% health regen debuff. via Truma debuff spell. So technically you "should" actually have -150% regen debuff meaning you would actually lose hit points over time and die. BUT it does not work that way I have observed that you will actually regenerate hit points very quickly if your total regen debuffs goes below -100% so the game thinks this instead player doesn't have -150% debuff player really has 50% buff and this is why I seem to see my hitpoints renerate extremely quickly. Turning off the feature in Defeat keeps this from happening when I reload and try it again. I've also observed that it tends to stack up this way with other mods that effect regen.

If you surrender, when the dialogue comes up, if you escape out of the dialogue without choosing one of the dialogue options, you get caught in a loop. The character stands there you can't talk to the npc or move.

Another turn should work fine, if there is 2 aggressors they should take turn until each one had 2 round. Shouldn't be an incompatibility but for animation problems this is more of a SL framework problem (and indirectly a Skyrim problem) I've got threesomes in Defeat working on my game, but it's the companions I have trouble with. Check your papyrus log to see if your partner is registered, if he's nocked down properly then he should be. Make sure gender settings in NPC vs NPC MCM menu are matching the genders of the aggressors & the follower victim. A male NPC will not take action on your female follower if the option Male on Female is disabled for example. Also if the follower is down too far they will ignore him. ttpt Posted June 28, 2014 Posted June 28, 2014 For Cerwiden make a quick check with TES5EDIT to see if she's a member of the potentialfollower faction and the currentfollowerfaction. Since by the looks of her mod page it seems like she has her own follower AI. I had a similar problem with a companion that did't use the vanilla follower system, but adding them to those factons at the appropriate ranks had them work fine, I can't guarantee the same with cerwyden though. Also, I had completely forgotten about the surrender function, since I've been having trouble with DA and Defeat going into the endless "you've still got some life left on you" loop on 1 on 1 fights, I figured I can just surrender in those situations.
AlyxMS Posted June 28, 2014 Posted June 28, 2014 Need help: My character is "undefeatable". I've updated to V5b3 and my character can't enter the bleedout animation. Basically whenever my character should bleedout it enters the bleedout animation for a second and returns to normal. All setting are default, fresh new save. Happens with or without Death Alternative. All the other functions work nicely. Eidt: It all worked again, I don't know why was my character doing that.

(So it should have 100% chance to knock PC out anywhere under 100% health). Started a new game and met bunch of bandits. For some reason Defeat doesnt seems to work. They just beat me to death, i tryed several times with different settings, bandits just kill me. There is 3 male and 1 female bandits if its matters. Edited June 28, 2014 by giveawayLL

Health threshold seems not work for me, i was able to start rape scene, but only by setting stamina threshold to 100. Bandits hit me few times in face, nothing happened - i turned and run away (i have less than 100% stamina) and scene started. And another things, after rape my character was just sitting on ground for like 5 minutes real time, i just waited to see what gona happen hext. Bandits were just standing near and doing drinking animation. I seems to stuck on this scene. I checked options, it says 60 sec weakening after act, but my character seems to be stuck sitting on ground.

Everyone seems to work fine, actual, but the new defeat bugs a little bit. -In the mcm menu, i dont see the site for creatures and strip otions. She is just empty. -Ingame, when my char got punched down by a creature, she just falling down on here knees, but nothing happens. Sometimes, she dies on this way, then the creature hit her often enough. In Human vs. Human situations is everything ok and the creature animations still working with other mods how sexlab match maker.
daioz Posted June 28, 2014 Posted June 28, 2014 Agressive player options all work considerably well, player as victim almost never happens even though I set it to threshold 95% and other stuff like that, auto-resist is turned off. but hey, I don't even care anymore, since right now my companion kills tied up people, which is a far bigger problem. I really dont understand why these barely working mods have to have 425 options and modes and blah blah...keep it simple and it may actually work once in a blue moon.

At present using G in combat tries to grab the opponent, so pc has to sheathe weapons first then hit G. If you have to submit then you're losing a fight badly so it really needs an instant submit rather than having to sheathe weapon then hit the key. I noticed as well that if Player as Aggressor is disabled then the G key is disabled so submit isn't possible

That's correct unless you're using an old version (1.39) version of SL In FNIS you'll need to tick the Skeleton Arm Fix. Only tick the others if you have them
