Ashra XIII Posted December 15, 2013 Posted December 15, 2013 I'm very excited about a new SexLab Framework, but also nervous about downloading it since I don't know if it will break all my mods that I've finally got working like... something that works really well. What to do, what to do. I guess in the meantime I'll at least d/l this update for Submit. Yay more NPC rape!
dkatryl Posted December 15, 2013 Author Posted December 15, 2013 Well, i didn't retranslate an earlier version of the german MCM, but reapplied it to the latest english one. So this "error" is in all languages. So ya, i'll just re-translate. Easier for you and easier for me as this way i can keep my translation database up-2-date. Not sure if I read this part correctly, but if I did, and you go back to the English MCM each time, I try to make it a little easier for you, and take the most recently translated of all of the language MCM files, and just copy/pasting the new English entries over the prior translated entries. Then all you have to do is find the strings that are in English vs [insert language here] and translate those. I do that for all of them, but where I screwed up last night was forgot to actually move the *English* one from my playing data folder to the Submit folder I have set aside. I don't keep the other languages inside my playing data folder, since I only speak English.

Looking at Ashal's changelog, I doubt anything in the new Framework will give Submit any issues. Rather, there shouldn't be any Submit-specific issues. If there is a wide scale bug, like the first couple of 1.2x releases, it would affect ALL SL mods.

You got that right. i always got back to the english file and made a completly new translation, in case i else miss some lines (already happened). And please, don't do that, adding english lines into the already existing german file. That would only make things easier if i translate using notepad, but i use TESV Translator and this way, i would reset my database for your mod everytime i save the new translation in the database, loosing previous translations. Just do it the way you did it before and i just send you the new translations, by posting them or thru PM. Thanks in common.
dkatryl Posted December 15, 2013 Author Posted December 15, 2013 Oh, balls. I just caught another oversight in the process of trying the new 1.30 Framework to look for issues. In trying to streamline another check, the one that allowed tier 2 creatures to do their thing in the open world, it now has them triggering the bound animation, which was never the intent. You can get free just fine, like it was a NPC, so it is still usable until I update to fix that. And, apparently, I just noticed that while the cuffs were put in the follower's inventory, the silly girl didn't wear them. Bugger that!
srayesmanll Posted December 15, 2013 Posted December 15, 2013 I just ran into an issue with the 1.29e beta and Submit14Dec13. Unsure at this time whether it's the framework, Submit, or a combination. Consensual 3-ways never start for me. Get both NPCs to "follow", then talk to 1 to initiate, then nothing. They just stand there. If I try to initiate consensual sex again with either one (or both for another 3-way attempt), the PC and one or both (if retrying a 3-way) disappear completely. And I mean completely gone. They may reappear after the normal sex time, but frankly, that doesn't matter... I have just noticed that SL1.3 was just released and so was Submit15dec13, so I'll update to both and try again (with a new game, as this test was done). Will update the results of using 1.3 and submit when available.

Hrm, well, I loaded an old save game, let the 1.3 update spam finish, did a consensual 3-way, and it worked just fine, no disappearing NPCs or anything. However, I did notice that my PC was not in the expected actor slot, so I will re-check that all the same. Either way, I'll be updating later tonight with the 2 corrected bugs from a few posts ago, and whatever is done with this regarding the actor slot. It also appears the "Submits to your seduction" or similar spam was given one time too many, so I will also look into that. Edit: Okay, fixed the extra message and the actor slot order. I'll hold off until tonight to re-update, just in case some other minor thing pops up between now and then. Also, I will say that I sometimes experienced the "fall through the world" while undressing before the 3-way (I was inside the companion HQ, with 2 of the ladies in there), but once the undressing was complete, I would appear where I was, and the actual 3-way worked just fine.

The actor(s) aren't actually gone, I could still talk to them, and it happened once to the player character as well. It seems to be setting the actor scale to 0 for some reason.
AlerictheNord Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 '60 second grace period?' Does that mean a full minute before the assailant reacts? That is enough time to fully exact most dungeons. That seems a bit much to be honest. Can there be a toggle to turn off the grace period? I would prefer/like that they react right away, much more realistic. Edit:A toggle would be nice, or just leave Hardcore as truly Hardcore with no grace period. A grace period kind of defeats the purpose of it being hardcore, after all.

I'm not going to go back in and redo this section yet again, because every time affects the MCM translations file(s). However, if you want, just open the CK, and open the spell called '_SLSubmitBully'. Edit the 60 seconds to whatever you want. I would recommend you at least give yourself ~5s, just to get your bearings, otherwise, they could be reacting before you even have a chance to take a single step. Also, the same aborting rules from regular mode apply. While you can't access your inventory to put stuff on, you can loot/pickup things, and doing so will cancel the grave period.
srayesmanll Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 I saw the same issue with 1.30 also on 2-way animations. The actor(s) aren't actually gone, I could still talk to them, and it happened once to the player character as well. It seems to be setting the actor scale to 0 for some reason. The situation on mine was a bit different. 2-way always worked. It was only 3-ways that failed and that failure was always that the action failed to start. It would get to the point where it asked if I wanted to use the bed (if near a bed and I always selected no bed) and then the actors did nothing. The disappearances only happened if I talked to the same NPCs after the initial 3-way failure. The disappearance was weird as well, because if talked to NPC1 to have 2-way sex after the failed 3-way, the PC and NPC2 would disappear and the original 3-way would start with all three, but NPC1 would be the only visible actor. If I tried to restart the 3-way with the same 2 NPCs, then all 3 would be invisible. Really strange issue.
dkatryl Posted December 16, 2013 Author Posted December 16, 2013 Most Recent Changes14DEC13 2141 Add the 'wrist binding' item to NPC Bounties to help maintain the wrist bound animation like I do for when the player escapes in 'Hardcore' mode. - Completed Remove message for when the auto surrender is ready to trigger. Given that it was showing even if the target was invalid, it was confusing. - Completed Add Alias1 != Alias2 check so that a single bandit does not take 2 turns on player surrender. - Completed Add Sanguinus Vampiris effect check before applying the NPC Vamp Bite spell during player surrender. - Completed Rename Grace Period and revise description to better explain 'Hardcore Escape' mode. Sorry MCM translators! - Completed Add 'cuffs' to Follower, disallow Followers from being valid help to free you in 'Hardcore'. - Completed Fix tier 2 creatures not properly doing animations while outside. - Completed Fix getting stuck when jailed by guards. - Completed Revisit freedom dialog. I was rushing to get it out before I left for my trip, now I can take a moment or three to go over it once more. - Completed 15DEC13 1535 Add in Morality check vs "Follower Morality" MCM setting to determine if 'Rescuer' takes advantage, in addition to being indoors. - Completed Make both Hardcore and Regular escape give a 60 second grace period. - Completed Forgot to add the updated English MCM file to the upload package. That is now added. - Completed Updated the translation copies of the MCM files to reflect the 60 second grace period for both modes. - Completed 15DEC13 1941 Fix oversight that was making Tier 2 creatures bind player after sex. - Completed Fix issue where cuffs were erroneously being removed from follower during 'Hardcore' escape. - Completed Remove extra success message when picking a place to have consensual 3-way sex. - Completed Fix actor slot order for consensual 3-way sex so the player is in the "main" slot by default. - Completed At this point, the only further things planned are bug fixes as necessary.
D_ManXX2 Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 is it my game or does the animation selection no longer work for aggressive animation ?? it will only use consensual animation selection even though aggressive is ticked.
Carida Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 Greetings, Alrighty I had an interesting bug. ( I was playing for a while today! lol) My character was raiding Fort.. well something or other. And she gets attacked by some drugged addled folk. (I have odd mods) Anyway. So she and the addled dude about kill each other at the same time. Well he basically got her health below the threshold I set it for (30%) and she killed him. So after he's dead. She tries to submit to his corpse. And does. Her gold is taken.. (by his phantom?) and then she goes down like she got punched and then cowers. I then get the bright idea to hit the submit button. And Poof. No character. She disappeared entirely. So I reloaded. Otherwise, I'm having a lot of fun with the mod Thanks! I'm really happy I have populated roads, cause otherwise it would take me forever to find someone to untie her lol Thanks for the mod -C

Ashra XIII Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 I just had a weird Submit bug as well (combined with SexLab 1.3) I was fighting a bunch of bandits, and while I managed to kill most of them, Submit kicks in on the last one (this is around Redoran's Retreat). He beats me down, rapes me, and leaves me there tied up. I eventually got free (after getting proximity raped by another patrolling bandit), ran back and got my hands unbound so I could return. I do and, since I managed to loot a bow and arrows from a nearby corpse, shoot the bandit dead and take all my stuff back. I go into Redoran's Retreat, sneaking up to the first room where there is a bandit mage and a bandit dog. I shoot the mage, dog comes after me, and just then Submit seems to kick in, with no messages up top like usual. My char takes a knee, and her axe is stripped, after which she pops back up, ready to fight... only with no weapon. I kill both the dog and the mage with my fists, but my axe is just nowhere to be seen, so I reload to the autosave created when I entered the cave.. only to have the bandit's corpse (the one I killed to do my stuff) drop right in front of me. My character promptly surrenders to it, and it pops up to rape me. Once he finishes, the revived bandit corpse does not bind me, but instead attacks and (as he has my weapons) one-shots my nekkid self. I reload, same thing happens, but this time after the rape, I run outside to heal up. I then sneak back inside, intent on killing this bandit with the console if I must (since I killed him legitimate already!) ....but when I get inside, he's dead again, and I'm able to loot all my stuff and carry on. Skyrim has simply gone mad.
dkatryl Posted December 16, 2013 Author Posted December 16, 2013 Hrm, that seems to be two reports of a dead bandit type assaulting the player, which is odd, since this is the check for a valid target to surrender to: ElseIf ((Target.IsInCombat() || Target.HasMagicEffect(CalmEffect)) && !Target.IsDead() && !Target.IsPlayerTeammate()) So there is a dead check. Unless the timing is just perfect and they died AFTER the validity check, in which case, eh, what can you do. Now, the reload and it did stuff part? Among other wonky stuff, it seems that reloading a game when a script from the previous load was still running, can actually try to complete the script in the reload. I've noticed that several times over the course of testing various parts of the mod. I chalk it up to the fun and exciting roller coaster ride that is papyrus.
dkatryl Posted December 16, 2013 Author Posted December 16, 2013 is it my game or does the animation selection no longer work for aggressive animation ?? it will only use consensual animation selection even though aggressive is ticked. I'm not sure what you mean. Nonconsensual scenes, whether by the player or towards the player, all do an aggressive tag search for valid animations. I did a brief play test with 1.3 earlier tonight, and they seemed to run as expected.

Yes, I sometimes will do a quick save/reload to try and get scripts to kick in, so I know what you mean. What made my situation so odd is the amount of time that script had to be hanging around, since I got free, came back, killed the bandit (stealth kill so he never even hit me), moved to a different cell, and THEN it tried to kick in. It was pretty funny overall... funny bugs are OK, as long as I can avoid the game-breakers.
germanicus Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 Thank you for great update dk. you rock.
Lyman the Lunatic Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 Finally the creatures work! Though I ran into 1 new problem, the timer or the grace doesn't seem to count when 2 npcsstanding in line trying to take their turn to rape my char. After a couple times, the grace period is just over & they try to kill my char. I suppose that's the point of being a plaything. The other usual problem is still getting pushed to the wall. I read the updates & it said there's a vampire update so I checked, I'm sure the vampire lovers will appreciates it, I just like the kinkiness it gives, so great job. Oh, it doesn't seem that my char. can't change locations with this mod, after pressing the relocation button for sexlab, she'll just stood still until time runs out.
Ashra XIII Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 Not being able to change locations seems to always happen with mods that take control of a character away from the player. Unfortunately, Sexlab's command only temporarily stops the animations, nothing else.
Pinute Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 Hi, love where you've taken this mod over the months. This is the first time I've had a real problem, this is spamming my logs, thousands of times in just a couple of sex acts: [12/16/2013 - 08:10:55AM] warning: Property _SLSubmitIndecencyGlobal on script _SLSubmitIndecencyEffect attached to Active effect 1 on (6B930DCB) cannot be initialized because the script no longer contains that property [12/16/2013 - 08:10:55AM] warning: Property _SLSubmitIndecencyGlobal on script _SLSubmitIndecencyEffect attached to Active effect 1 on (6B930FC2) cannot be initialized because the script no longer contains that property [12/16/2013 - 08:10:55AM] warning: Property _SLSubmitIndecencyGlobal on script _SLSubmitIndecencyEffect attached to Active effect 1 on (0001A6C7) cannot be initialized because the script no longer contains that property [12/16/2013 - 08:10:55AM] warning: Property _SLSubmitIndecencyGlobal on script _SLSubmitIndecencyEffect attached to Active effect 1 on (0001A6C8) cannot be initialized because the script no longer contains that property [12/16/2013 - 08:10:55AM] warning: Property _SLSubmitIndecencyGlobal on script _SLSubmitIndecencyEffect attached to Active effect 3 on (0001A6BB) cannot be initialized because the script no longer contains that property [12/16/2013 - 08:10:55AM] warning: Property _SLSubmitIndecencyGlobal on script _SLSubmitIndecencyEffect attached to Active effect 3 on (6B930FAD) cannot be initialized because the script no longer contains that property [12/16/2013 - 08:10:55AM] warning: Property _SLSubmitIndecencyGlobal on script _SLSubmitIndecencyEffect attached to Active effect 3 on (6B930E97) cannot be initialized because the script no longer contains that property [12/16/2013 - 08:10:55AM] warning: Property _SLSubmitIndecencyGlobal on script _SLSubmitIndecencyEffect attached to Active effect 1 on (0001A6B5) cannot be initialized because the script no longer contains that property the ref (0001a6c5) changes, but each ref is represented by dozens (or more) of occurrences.
DMCDante Posted December 16, 2013 Posted December 16, 2013 Is the latest version of Submit coded for sexlab 1.24 or 1.30, since I am hesitant to update to 1.30 since I am scared of breaking stuff lol
