Is the latest version of Submit coded for sexlab 1.24 or 1.30, since I am hesitant to update to 1.30 since I am scared of breaking stuff lol

 

It seems to work normally here, and I'm even using an older version of Submit (early dec build I think).  But I'm not using the Player Submit portion or Creatures, so if it breaks that part, I wouldn't know xP

Oh, I just checked my logs and it's there, too.  That seems to be related to the Purity Guard switch.  But yeah, it does spam the log.

I was nervous too, but I finally went ahead and updated Sexlab to 1.30 and have had no issues so far.

Finally the creatures work!

Though I ran into 1 new problem, the timer or the grace doesn't seem to count when 2 npcsstanding in line trying to take their turn to rape my char. After a couple times, the grace period is just over & they try to kill my char. I suppose that's the point of being a plaything. The other usual problem is still getting pushed to the wall. I read the updates & it said there's a vampire update so I checked, I'm sure the vampire lovers will appreciates it, I just like the kinkiness it gives, so great job.

 

Oh, it doesn't seem that my char. can't change locations with this mod, after pressing the relocation button for sexlab, she'll just stood still until time runs out.

Not sure what you mean by the grace period not working with 2 taking turns.  It isn't triggered until after you escape, so it shouldn't matter if it's 1, 2, or a 101 bandits taking turns, the binding isn't until they are all finished as part of the PostRape() function.  And it's always worked correctly during my testing, so maybe I'm not understanding the first line?

 

Also, what do you mean about getting pushed to the wall?  Literally getting pushed, like they try to walk into you because they can't get close enough for the AI Package, keep trying, and just push you away?  I saw that during my early creature support stuff (Very first creature was a spider, and oh yeah, wouldn't stand still!), but I increased the min radius and tested every creature and no longer saw that.

 

Well, I didn't test on a dragon, but, eh, those are huge anyway.  Also, don't use a console setrace on a NPC to make them a dragon for testing while in a cave.  Insta-CTD was my experience. :P

 

The last part, yeah, it's because I DisablePlayerControls().  I noticed this myself last few nights in testing, but didn't think much on it.  I think what I will do is EnablePlayerControls() immediately before the player assaulted sex begins, then just re-Disable after it finished as part of the post sex bleedout deal.  That should allow the Framework reposition key to work.

That Global no longer even exists in the mod, and it is no longer even listed in that script as a property.

 

Man, what were they thinking to not allow proper clean saves. <_<

While I didn't do a long, exhaustive round of testing, since 1.30 was just released yesterday, I've encountered no issues with the player surrendering to NPC or creatures.

 

I haven't tried making NPCs submit, or the speechcraft stuff, because the vast bulk of that isn't related to the Framework, other than the sex, but that is pretty vanilla, compared to the creature crap, so if what I tested works, the rest should.

Is it possible to get submit to work with the strip options in sexlab?  My character always goes naked despite what options I check.  Thanks.

Normal default mode is to have all of your stuff stolen, regardless, so you would wind up nekkid anyway.

 

For those that don't want to risk losing everything beyond their gold, plus the nuisance of resetting favorite weapons again, there is the option to not have your stuff stolen, but I still have you unequip everything to help with the illusion that you had everything stolen.

I have started a new game with the 15DEC2013 version of Submit and my papyrus log is filled with these warnings. It cannot come from a badly uninstalled old version because I use Mod Organizer.

Surely some hidden and unneeded script routine is still running somewhere.

I had the beta version of 1.3 going for a few days and I didn't encounter any serious problems.

 

The one issue i noticed was the player restraints not returning after bandits having another turn once you've already submitted.

 

If you try to escape and are unsuccesful it returns you to the bound position but until you try and escape and either fail or succeed your character just stands there looking unbound.

So, when bound up, if the NPC that enslaves the player is killed it seems as though the script continues to run for escape attempts? Also, for the guards interrupting, is there a way to cancel animations when they do so things don't break there?

Theres a button to stop all current animations in the MCM menu for the sexlab framework.

 

So either that or a quicksave/quickload to give the script another chance to trigger (not sure if its actually doing that just found that quick save/quick load seems to have a magic fix effect)

Actually, guards interrupting are supposed to trigger the StopAnimation(), and they did during my testing.  (That's also the source of the Indecency script debug spam that has been posted a few times, the old Global that no longer exists, that was used before I learned the proper Framework command.)

 

Not sure why they wouldn't be working for others.

Any chance it could check if player is in a Brawl and not trigger in those instances?

You mean the player surrenders?  I hadn't even considered that, but then I don't even know how to check for that.  A quick, cursory glance at http://www.creationkit.com/ didn't seem to show anything.  But I could have just as easily missed something

 

I won't make an update specifically for that, but I'll see if I can do something about it on my copy, and then it will be part of the next update, whenever that might be.

The first 3 entries, none of those spells exist anymore.  They were still listed in the properties list for the script, but the spells have been deleted many updates ago as unnecessary.

The last one, the GraceActive was renamed to HardcoreActive, and the entire _SLSubmitConfig script was redone to replace that as part of the MCM change from a day or two ago. GraceActive no longer exists in the script, so I don't know why it still shows an artifact of it other than that's how Skyrim is.

 

I deleted the property references of the first three, they will be part of the next update, whenever that is.  However, I assume that those will now display errors similar to #4 on existing games, and there is nothing I can do about #4, because that property has been deleted from the script.

I hear what you are saying, but that Global no longer exists, and that property has been deleted from that script.  That script is all of a dozen lines long, even with the property references.

 

And there is really no reason to uninstall an old version before the new version if you don't extract the .BSA file.  Simply copy/paste the new .ESP and .BSA over the old one.

There's something more going on here.

 

I started a new game with my usual mod load for gaming, with the additions of only SL 1.30 and Submit 12/16. Mod list is plugins.rar. I used alternate start to begin as breezehome owner. The only mod setting I changed was to increase submit's speech modifer to +25%. I then went to the Bannered Mare and solicited sex until I was accepted (no guards possible). Once that was done, I went outside, solicited till accepted. Guards interrupted, and I chose for them to sent me to jail. Sex continued in utter blackness, then once done I materialized in the outer guard room. Guards immediately attacked and killed me. Log is Papyrus.2.rar. As you can see, that global exists in this log as well. 

 

That seemed pretty weird, so I reloaded from breezehome, went outside and stood in front of the whiterun gates and solicited until I was accepted. Guards interrupted, I chose jail. Sex in blackness, left in outer guard room and then attacked by guards again. Here's that log: Papyrus.0.rar.

 

So. I tried again, with an utterly vanilla game, except for alternate start and of course sexlab and submit. This was the modlist: pluginsver2.rar. Again, sex in front of main gates, guards interrupt, I choose jail. Sex continues in the void, but at least this time they didn't kill me at the end. Here's the log: Papyrus.0.ver2.rar As you can see, that global exists here as well.

 

So, it seems that the aggression the guards show is an artifact of my default game, but even with that the global does seem to appear somewhere.

 

Sort of an aside, but while trying to get some (hopefully) useful data for this bug report I was struck by just how bare Whiterun is in the vanilla game. Hardly a person to be seen! Basically an ugly place. Props to modders. As much as I liked Skyrim when I first tried it I can't imagine continuing without all your work.

That Global doesn't even exist in the .ESP, so if there is some script artifact present, it is referencing an item that doesn't exist.

Mod Organizer uses a virtual file system to prevent corruption of the PROGRAM INSTALLATION of Skyrim.

It can help eliminate corruption of save files caused by leftover crud from previous mod installs.

 

That being said, it CANNOT and does not remove scripting embedded in save files from previous installs of mods.

 

There are three choices here:

 

1. Your save file was used with the earlier version of the mod.

 

2. The present mod has traces of the old version still present.

 

3. The installation of the new mod version was merged with the old version.  (unlikely if both are using .BSA files, as is the case here)

 

If the papyrus log shows that data, scripts from the old version are embedded in the save, Mod Organizer notwithstanding.

Dkatryl... One easy suggestion for the bonding and stealing part.

Actually the pc is stripped bare and stolen of everything with the exception of quest items.

Maybe could be wise to make another exception.

 

For all the keys and book/notes/jurnal items.

I've seen this implemented in a similar situation in Radiant Prostitution.

I have started a new game with the 15DEC2013 version of Submit and my papyrus log is filled with these warnings. It cannot come from a badly uninstalled old version because I use Mod Organizer.

Surely some hidden and unneeded script routine is still running somewhere.

 

 

 

Mod Organizer uses a virtual file system to prevent corruption of the PROGRAM INSTALLATION of Skyrim.

It can help eliminate corruption of save files caused by leftover crud from previous mod installs.

 

That being said, it CANNOT and does not remove scripting embedded in save files from previous installs of mods.

 

There are three choices here:

 

1. Your save file was used with the earlier version of the mod.

 

2. The present mod has traces of the old version still present.

 

3. The installation of the new mod version was merged with the old version.  (unlikely if both are using .BSA files, as is the case here)

 

If the papyrus log shows that data, scripts from the old version are embedded in the save, Mod Organizer notwithstanding.

That Global doesn't even exist in the .ESP, so if there is some script artifact present, it is referencing an item that doesn't exist.

 

The Global does not exist (hence the warnings), but some refrence or call to it apparently still does exist within the current scripts.

 

I just did a test myself following the exact same procedure as others have described. Brand new game (no old saves, all deleted, so there can be no artifacts carried over by the savefiles), gave myself the Breezehome start with LAL, walked out into the Whiterun marketplace and found someone to do the deed with, Guard sees us and starts the arrest dialog (sex-animations fail to end, we're still doing it as i speak with him), i choose to say "take me to jail", and am teleported to under the floor of the Whiterun dungeons, still playing the sex-anim.

 

Papyrus.0.log shows a large stack of this error repeating itself (yup, the same thing others had):

 

warning: Property _SLSubmitIndecencyGlobal on script _SLSubmitIndecencyEffect attached to Active effect 1 on  (0001A687) cannot be initialized because the script no longer contains that property

I've checked and double-checked my scripts folder, there is nothing in there except the required SKSE/FNIS/SexLab files, it's so clean you could eat off of it.

 

 

This error is comming from the current version (SexLab Submit 16DEC13 1504), it's not from an old save (as there are none, all deleted), it's not an old lose script (there are none, checked and double checked), this is beeing called directly by the scripts in the 16Dec .BSA file.

 

You've got a rogue refrence in there somewhere, still trying to call on old functions that nolonger exists.
