Hi, I decided to try this in my pt. I like that it's bridging frameworks, even though I only use Sexlab, it's being updated, and says it should be mostly backwards compatible. Unfortunately, unless I'm missing something big, it isn't.

I'm using at least 2 mods where you can say which gender you prefer the instigator to be. I selected male, and got only females. Females gets females. Both get mostly females. While this issue is noticeable in SL Defeat, Defeat is not a mod I use consistently so I was more surprised by the number of female attackers than that there were any. The more reliable test was a scene involving FMEA. All aggressors were female even though I had selected male only in FMEA's MCM and there were male characters in the vicinity. This was a first and I've used FMEA pretty much since it came out - different mod setups, different Aroused versions, etc. Just to make sure it was this mod, I installed Ponzi's SLANG and uninstalled OSL. I cleaned the save and replayed the same scene. This time all aggressors were male just as I selected.

For me, this is a basic issue.

Thank you for your time and creating this mod. I look forward to its further development.

Hmm This mod does not handle gender preference or scene/agressor selection.

I think thats handled within Sexlab.

Thing is, I didn't change anything in Sexlab. The only thing I did was test with a different arousal mod and set my preference there so Aroused, FMEA, and Defeat would be consistent. I'm not sure what I would change in sexlab; I don't change much there. Been using mostly the same settings for a long time.

Thanks anyway.

Do you have a link the the defeat mod you are using?  I guess what i mean is i don't know how arousal would play into instigator selection.

I was talking about Failure Mode Effects Analysis in Skyrim (FMEA) and SL Defeat w/ the dynamic patch.

However, I owe you an apology. I forgot that sexlab is not a master for osl, so didn't double-check my load order until I was comparing them between osl and slang setups. Sure enough, osl's sexlabaroused.esm was above sexlab .esm. Once I moved it below sexlab.esm, things were much better. I reloaded the earlier saves and created potions, when i failed  the FMEA aggressors were mostly male, which is what I wanted.

One little thing, another mod, Sexual Persuasion, gives you the option of offering to do a favor for a discount. With OSL the merchant's response gets stuck looping the first word until I exit the convo, open OSL in the MCM and change their preferences from sexlab to female. Then I can start the convo and it finsihes normally. Don't have the issue with SLANG.

Again, apologies for not checking the load order earlier.

Hi, for some reason, after reinstalling this mod, arousal never goes down by any means; it only goes drastically up. This started happening after reinstalling this mod and updating Advanced Nudity Detection.

I had similar issues but only in Sexlab Aroused (legacy) mode. Not sure when it started but it was long before I installed A.N.D.

OSL mode seems to work as intended so I just use that now. Never did figure out what was causing arousal to malfunction.

Related... I tried to make a patch for Nether's Fantablulous Frea so it works with OSL mode but got lost trying to determine which parts of the code needed to be changed.

Yeah, I already tried both modes. None of them work properly. I'll keep testing.

My guess is Advanced Nudity Detection is keeping it high, I use the baka keywords when comes to clothing... AND I think mimics that on top so may be getting doubled?

Thank you both for the replies. I tried disabling A.N.D just for testing, and it didn't work. Also, I couldn't find an "oslaroused skse log" anywhere. So here's my Papyrus log if it helps. I really appreciate the help.

You should find the OSLAroused log here:

C:\Users\%yourusername%\Documents\My Games\Skyrim Special Edition\SKSE\OSLAroused.log

Papyrus log is found here:

I uhh... see neither of those files. I will change my modlist when I get the time.

I'd giving this some thought... was it working before the reinstallation?

Obviously arousal increases are working for you, so can you shed some light on if you're using O-Stim or SexLab because decreases to arousal would likely be based on events from either of those.

Also, I do know there are early versions of SexLab P+ which looses data in the track actor function and so does not know when a sex scene had completed for an actor. I do not know if OSL is using that function or not?

Arousal are factions if using SexLab and they can be examined or manipulated on an npc/pc if you have more informative console.

Yes, it was working before Vortex decided to shit the bed, making me reinstall those 2 mods. I do use both Ostim and Sexlab (mostly Sexlab), Ostim is just there for a couple of mods, and yes, they both play well together. But OSL Aroused was working perfectly fine.

I have a mod development question.

When I use OSL Aroused to compile old scripts that depend on slamain.psc, I am getting error about missing dependencies to:

- OJSON, OThread, OUtils

Where can I find the sources for these dependencies?

I saw a reference to OUtils in the sources of OStim but I cannot find the other two.

I was able to rebuild OSLAroused_Main script with OSA and OStim Script Sources. Hope that helps you.

Got it! For some reason, my papyrus logs weren't enabled in my Skyrim.ini. Hopefully this one helps?

I tried adding OStim Standalone and switching to Pandora. Everything works properly, but the game crashes during climax (Crash Logger points to OSLAroused).

The problem is that the game won’t launch at all if I update OSLAroused to a newer version or disable it in the mod list.

I suspect that some script is expecting this mod to be present, and maybe I need to regenerate some outputs or perform additional steps.
If I try to launch the game with certain output folders disabled, the game actually starts loading, but it still crashes with an SL+ error saying that an object cannot be loaded.

I’m using an older Nefaram 11.3 build (I decided not to update since my PC isn’t very powerful: 5800X3D / RTX 3060 Ti 8GB / 32GB RAM).

I would really appreciate any help.

Sounds unlikely that the game would not start, unless you've not replace OSL with a different Arousal mod or also removed all other mods that have one as a hard requirement.
The save you had OSL on, that likely will not accept another arousal mod, not fully at least (you usually will bot get an MCM,  etc.). It's a general problem of arousal mods, but OSL and SLO appear worse then older, non-skse variants.

As for your system, not very powerful, I guess a lot of people here would like to have it ... 5800X3D is still among then top 10, likely the top 5 of CPU's for gaming, 32gig of RAM is gold dust these days. 😟 Your GPU might be lagging behind a bit, admitted.

Thanks, Talesien, I appreciate it.
The processor is basically carrying my entire build, to be honest. I’m a bit mad at myself for opting for the 8 GB Ti version instead of going with the 12 GB 3060, which could have been a bit better in some cases. I managed to fix the initial issue by completely reinstalling the modlist.

Sorry if this is too bold to ask, but since there’s no dedicated OStim Standalone thread, may I ask for your thoughts on this? When switching to FPV in OStim Standalone (either by pressing the OStim camera switch hotkey or using tfc in the console), I experience flickering that can be triggered when animations change. This issue seems to occur only in first person and does not happen in third person. From my testing, it appears to happen specifically when tfc is enabled. I’ve tried everything I could think of, but I can’t get rid of it.
’m using Improved Camera, SmoothCam, and PapyrusUtil TFC Fix. I would appreciate any advice, and sorry if I’ve overlooked something.

Afraid that's beyond my area of expertise. I'm not using Ostim, tried it a while ago, found that for me the limitations are not worth the improvements and I don't want to waste slots on two different sex frameworks. Looks like the Ostim support went to a Discord Server. You might have more luck asking there (yes I know, I'm not a fan of Discord myself).

I used to use Sexlab Eager NPCs, until I decided that raising relationship rank through sex seems less-immersive [and takes too much time], so I changed to Skyrim Relationship , fairly lightweight, xEdit-able for my needs and still SexLab-capable. But, I am now missing a way to reduce arousal, in which SLEN had a method through a potion (which will start a SL self-masturbation event). I checked the mod's scripts to see if just the potion could be ported over but alas I'm not a scripting expert and the script appears to depend on the base SLEN mod script to function so I wouldn't know what to do just to make it Sexlab/SexlabAroused dependent only.

Are there any alternatives?

Just in case if someone else will encounter this issue.

This one -- was fixed by moving to Improved Camera 2.*  (available in their discord)

And immediately I've encountered another one - duplicated private parts -- this one could be fixed by enabling "Fake First person" option in Improved Camera menu (console - "ic menu" -> Fake First Person)

I'm so tired, I'm not sure I can even play now. Honestly, I'm spending more time setting up mods than actually playing.
