Developers do not agree with this.? For a long time I also could not understand why there are some dumb stains in all the pictures.?

If all the paintings are that way, I'd say it's how the paintings mod did it. If it's a typo, I could fix it.

To make paintings *old*, craquellures, scuffs and other effects are superimposed on them, but not this one ... What the hell is the effect of *settle soot* from bright light spots and shine, which should be in the picture (and even more so the old one) shouldn't it?

And I'm going to dock 20 obedience points if you don't behave! vjnmrf is 100% correct to say that the painting textures are implemented by the original author technically wrong. This is a given, no questions I suspect this was intentional though. If I were doing it, I too would be looking to brighten the image, and so I'd bet this is why there was some non-conventional use of the textures We all have completely different views on what looks better, for anything in life, and you can never make everyone happy Nuff said.
